Imagine being a new and upcoming actress and being in a movie with Elissabat

You were probably getting strange looks as you walked through the set with a curious and starry-eyed look but you couldn't help. You had always dreamed of going to Hauntlywood and becoming an actress. Though it took a while - such as many roles as a background actor and minor character - you were finally given the chance to be one of the leads in a very anticipated book-to-movie adaptation.

But it also made you realize how out of your depth you were. You had never been in a high production set before in such an important role. Your usual roles weren't anything big which meant there were never any big shoes to fill. But with how popular the book and its characters were, you were beginning to feel anxious about the pressure that was being placed on your shoulders by both the studio and the fans.

Taking a seat on the first chair you spotted, you took a deep breath as you tried to calm yourself. Holding your head in your hands, you breathed in and out, trying to slow down your rapidly beating heart. Stuck inside your head, you didn't notice someone had made their way toward you until you felt their hand on your shoulders and heard someone say: "Are you okay? Do you need me to get you something?"

Shaking your head, you looked up, wanting to thank the person for checking up on you but you let out a gasp as you noticed who it was. "Elissabat."

My Draculaura headcanons!:

(i mix g1 and g3!)

- Draculaura in my head is childhood friends with Valentine, they used to play together, have tea parties and sleepovers, after they rebonded Drac reassured Val it was fine, and hey, they still have tea parties, like old times

- in my headcanons she still leans MORE to the vampire side than witch, and in witch terms, she's actually a necromancer (big difference) and tarot reader

- she was the one to bring Ghoulia back to life and that actually makes them bond since it breaks how vampires tended to see zombies

- hear me out....demigirl?

- vivid fan of Melanie Martinez, likes J-pop and kawaii musics, loves musicals her fav being legally blond and listens to Malice Mizer

- she LOVES japanese subcultures and I actually picture her living some years in Japan more specifically Kyoto after graduating MH

- absolutely has a sweet fang and loves to bake red velvet heart shaped cake pops

- her and Clawd are still together and every noon they cuddle together in the dorms while watching movies and eating sweets

- I picture that the profession Draculaura would like to have (in which I also hc she'd love to have multiple jobs, beware Barbie she'll steal your place) being: fashionista, vampiric history teacher, necromancy teacher in MH, baker, photographer working probably with Elissabat for promos in her movies or even as far as working as a Japanese idol

- DEFINITELY has a garden that is just hers in her father's manor and Dracula makes sure it's perfectly taken care of so when she comes back Draculaura isn't too worried for the plants, her favorite flower being black roses and sakura flowers in their pink shade

- definitely in her time in the vampiric court Draculaura would sneak away with Valentine and Elissabat and just explore the town at night instead of focusing on the balls, though she'd come right on time for the dance and would always call either Elissabat or Valentine as dance partners

- THE NIECE OF THE VAMPIRE FROM SESAME STREET AND COUNT CHOCULA.

- girly loves to read and collect shoujo manga and extra cutesy slice of life manga.

- once dressed Frankie up in gothic lolita, it became their hobby to once a weekend get all girls together and dress up in lolita for photos

- learnt about her taiwanese heritage a bit later and took some late blooming to enjoy it, these days she constantly enjoys being connected to taiwanese culture

- as someone deficient of GH (growth hormone and also linked to some teen hormones such as what causes periods and boob growth) I like to imagine Draculaura actually has the same thing and that's what caused her to be a late bloomer on both psychically and in her vampire side, which was what got her interested into witchcraft.

Like obviously it wouldn’t be any of the main ghouls but characters like Operetta, Rochelle, Elissabat, Jinafire - heck even astronova could have been instead of Cupid

I wonder why they chose Cupid. Because there are lots of other monsters who you could argue could be fairytales more than Cupid. Maybe Cupid was originally supposed to be an eah character but they decided to use her for mh and then didn’t really have anything to do with her in mh so they put her in eah.

EAH Dorm Rooms Headcanon 4

Blondie & C.A. Cupid

It's time for our two radio heads! One will dish out juicy gossip while the other gives you advice from the heart.

The only time we got to see their dorm was in 'Blondie Brances Out' and 'Cupid Comes Clean'. From what was seen Cupid and Blondie have one of the smaller dorms of the students living on campus. Their room is so small that the girls use wardrobes instead of a closets and the walls seem closer together. So, I'll do my best with this one.

So the layout of the the dorm is: hallway entrance, room divider, mirror, vanity desk, wardrobe, nightstand, and bed. We don't get to see the rest of the room, but my theory is that it's a wall the girls do whatever they want with it, the wall where the balcony is where the girls' desk for homework is at. Yeah, that's all I got.

Blondie's side: Blondie's got a cottagecore & lolita style going on with a pinch of royalty.

Blondie's furniture features bears, utensils, and keyholes that reflects her story. I like how Blondie stands out in her room, since she's covered in yellow (her dress and hair) while her room is a deep blue and gold.

We Blondie wants to be seen as royalty by her friends and peers so her room seems rather regal than the lolita style she wears and it would've been nice to see her with items that reflect her love of journalism. But we didn't see the whole dorm so she may have some items like: a typewriter (every good reporter has a typewriter), and some cameras, and a collection of microphones.

Blondie's side of the dorm has the fireplace, but we don't see much of it. In 'Epic Winter' Blondie has a chaise, which I believe she has in her dorm on the other side for when she takes a break from school work and reporting.

This is where the layout of the room gets a little weird. When, Cupid goes to get Blondie ready for class, we she Blondie's vanity dresser, when Blondie explains her family tree we she her wardrobe, nightstand, then bed. Seeing how small their dorm room is they probably squished as much furniture into the room as they can.

Apperently, Blondie (and Cedar) were supposed to have jewelry boxes like Apple and Raven but were never made. It's just so frilly and covered with bears, just right for Blondie.

C.A. Cupid's side: The only time we got to see a speck of Cupid's room was during 'Cupid Comes Clean'. I think Cupid's room would have a lot of Greek and heart designs too it, being the adoptive daughter of Eros (the god of love) it makes sense for her room to be covered in lovecore.

Besides the lovecore and ancient Greek aesthetic, I think it would be cool if Cupid brought some items from Monster High (and the other places she's traveled). Like she has posters and CDs of Catty Noir and Casta Fierce and DVDs of Elissabat movies which she let's her friends watch and listen to. But whenever fairy tale teens try to look them up they can't find them except for lore/creepypasta sites, Maddie's the only one (and maybe Kitty) are the only ones to find info on the monster stars. Until, EAH and MH find out the other world exist.

I would also like if Cupid mixed in some skeletal decor in her room since she's a bone elemental. Can you imagine the first day the two met and Blondie walks in and let's out a blood-curdling scream because she sees a couple of faux skulls and skeletal furniture in the room and Cupid is like "What?". Hilarious! Over time Blondie just accepts it as one of Cupid's quirks.

Also, feathers and arrows (I can't believe I almost forgot to mention that)! In her locker she has two bow and arrows sets I bet on her free wall she has a collections of bows and arrows on the wall like a chef has a knife collection. She has to keep reminding Blondie not to touch it just because it's out in the open.

The girls have a balcony that Cupid uses most of the time to grow her flowers, mainly mood roses.

Cupid's mirror was shown when she mirror traveled from Monster High/ Mount Olympus to Ever After High, but in the show there's a different mirror. I'm gonna let this pass an animation error.

When the website was still up players would customize the dorms with furniture after characters' information was released. In the first image I think the lamp would be Cupid's, the second image the first wallpaper and flooring are Cupid's. I know used the candles already but I can see Cupid owning them.

In 'Heart Struck' we found out Cupid uses an inhaler for her pollen allergies, it would make sense if she had backups in her dorm room.

Like Blondie (and Ginger) Cupid has her own show at school. IThe school allows students with shows to do them in vacant rooms of the school. Like I said with Blondie it would be cool to have some of the equipment in her dorm room like the glowing heart background lights.

Cupid has a black wrought iron bed in the shape of hearts, pink drapes behind the bed, I have no idea what that pink transparent thing is (seriously, what the heck is it?).

Since we never saw much of her room here are my thoughts: Cupid is one of the few students that doesn't have a canopy bed, most likely has a lot of romance novels/ love advice books, and her room is a mixture of MH, EAH, lovecore, and Greek mythology.

If this was canon in the monster high universe, imagine the shenanigans that would ensue. Draculaura goes to see Clawd, but Clawdeen finds her in the kitchen and makes her leave. Unorganized doll thoughts as a collector and what I'll seek out outside of a good condition lot.

Abbey Bominable. Not interested in seeking out her g1 doll. I hate tinsel, I hate the gritty feeling of her glitter skin. I love her character so much but no. Not paying g1 prices for sensory ick

Amanita Nightshade, Batsy Claro, Casta Fierce a serve but since I don't have any nostalgic feelings towards her I won't be seeking her out.

CA Cupid. I had her as a kid but between the jacked up resell prices and her atrocious to maintain or restyle hair I'll pass.

Catrine DeMew and Catty Noir. I already have one of these. I don't find the need to have more than one of these characters.

Clawdeen Wolf little dead riding hood. She's the only g1 clawdeen I want but Don't have. I had her as a kid and oh god I would love to have her again. Seems like a lot of kids agreed that the cape was stiff and got in the way of play because sooo many of them are missing that signature cape

Cleo de Nile. Hated her as a kid. These days, I was upset at work and I imagined cleo sticking up for me and it gave me the strength to get through my shift. But.. there's that tinsel (and the fact that she looks WAY too human). So there's limited releases I actually enjoy of Cleo because of this. As fun as her gimmick is it can be very hit or miss for me. Sooo here are my top hits for her. Dead tired! Love this line and I love the cozy looking mummy pajamas. Picture day! Not really nostalgic to me since I didn't discover the picture day line til earlier this year like 11 years after it ran. But yeah definitely a serve. Skull shores cleo! No tinsel and I LOVED her awesome swimsuit coverup. Yeah those are my favorites that I'd actually go out of my way to add to my collection.

Tbh the way g3 Draculaura is SERVING i don't feel the need to seek out her g1 counterparts. But there are a few that come to mind. Dead tired because duh pajamas are always cute. Ghouls rule because DOPE ass wings. But she is kinda expensive and would probably need a reroot because monster high dolls with curly hair Don't stand the test of time and play. Skull shores, not gonna pay big bucks for this, again. But I do love her.
