TDF day 1 !

Spun up the palm combed top, which was so smooth and nice to spin. Also the color is really growing on me, it's a really nice gold.

I also ended up spinning and then 2 plying the little nest that had white and yellow as a sample, bc I didn't want it randomly in my main yarn. Haven't blocked it yet but it makes sock yarn weight. I haven't spun enough true worsted yarn to know if it puffs up much after blocking or not, but I'd be fine with a dk or sport weight too.

I was thinking it would make a really pretty sweater...

Claudia Dardashti & Beth Heydari — To be honest, I was so close to saying Claudia and Alexander, but since I kill him off, it doesn’t make sense. So, I went with the next best thing: Beth and Claudia. Beth is Claudia’s rock and keeps her from making impulsive choices, and Claudia helps Beth loosen up a bit. They are wives. No matter what, they’re always there for one another and balance one another out and think the other is the most amazing person in the universe. Beth helped Claudia escape a simulation where she had to keep finding her, so Claudia feels indebted to her, but Beth did it by accident so she doesn’t feel like she owes her anything. She just loves her and thinks she’s an interesting person. And Claudia thinks Beth is smart and the bravest woman she knows.

Claudia makes mistakes sometimes and lies, but mostly for what she thinks is Beth's safety, because her daughter went missing on her watch. But Beth lies, too, and does some pretty questionable things herself for her family. But their relationship is pretty healthy other than those occasional lies.

oh wait the weirdest thing this morning was. okay the exam was at 8 but we had to be there 30 minutes early, I got there at 7:15 or whatever and checked in and the guy told me to go down the hallway and wait with the others. so we’re sitting there talking for a while until we hear what sounds like shouting echoing down the hallway like someone’s calling and we’re all looking at each other like ????? and eventually I walk back to the desk and he’s there like “I”M HOLDING THE ELEVATORS!!! COME HERE!!!” and we’re all like ‘oh shit’ so we all grab our stuff and hastily run on over. like??? he didn’t give us any other instruction upon coming in, how were we supposed to know? who just opens an elevator and assumes we’ll know to come down? who just shouts down a hallway?? dude??
