The Great BNHA Review: Characters or Check Lists?
Oh Characters...
The bread and butter to all stories.
The thing that gets a story from Point A to Point B, the thing that allows us to connect with the story and helps it feel alive. You can pretty much make any character for your story, from the gentle and kindhearted to the more rough around the edges... to making them likable or unlikable. There are many ways to write a character and how they can make your story come to life.
And by bringing this up you know where this is headed... that BNHA utterly failed at expanding their characters into being people we're supposed to care about.
I could make a long fucking list of how BNHA failed every single one of it's characters it introduced but to keep that from happening, I'm just going to either list certain characters or just group them together since some of them share one common thing that's holding them back from being good.
Starting off with!
Shota Aizawa:
He was supposed to a hardass with a hidden heart of gold for his students, but what he ENDED up as was a walking hypocrite who hated Izuku for no other than he was associated with All Might and couldn't control his quirk... and then CONTINUED to give Izuku a hard time and labeled him as the "problem child" like... I don't even have the energy to get mad here, I'm saving THAT for another time in this review.
Oh and then there's him holding up this ridiculously high standard for his students to reach or else he fails them... which is exactly what happened when he failed Sero in the finals but allowed Bakugou to pass for doing the same.
Which again his hypocrisy gets in the way of that!
And not once does he ever get called out or punished for his blantant abuse in power and instead gets complimented and praised for his methods as if he's the next Einstein.
Fucking end me.
The Todoroki Family:
Oh how Hori totally fucked you guys over in the end... Natsu I'd give a pass since he ended on a more believable note, but sadly I can't say the same for Rei and Fuyumi.
As they were never allowed to think bad of the guy that made their lives hell and were instead to jump on the forgiveness train and take Endeavor's side so they can be a "Happy family" again. Which... no, that's literally stockholm syndrome.
Class 1-A:
... (Sighs)
Oh my babies... oh my favorites... look how that monster Hori ruined you all...
He tried to have this found family dynamic for them all, only for it all to fall apart since... you know, they barely interacted at all and got any screentime.
And it also didn't help that Hori had all of them as bystanders to Izuku's suffering, make fun of his interests, and follow Bakugou when he led them to beat him into coming back. So it really doesn't work when you have these things on your mind and fails to convince you that they give a shit about Izuku and his wellbeing.
And the worst part is that they ALL look like they have stories waiting to be told, but we don't get any of that. At most they're only used to fight against the minions while the Cash Cow Triplets fight the big hero.
Every Female Character in this Series:
Oh boy what even is there to talk about? Since they barely have any personality of their own and are only made to be fanservice for the pervs that likes watching anime girls in bikinis. They definitely deserves much better and to be in a story that'll treat them with respect and dignity.
ESPECIALLY to those like Hagakure and Miruko.
All Might:
Oh All Might, how the story did you dirty.
If there's anyone in this story that I feel sorry for the most (That isn't Izuku) It's All Might.
All because of how he started off at the beginning, people clung to the idea that he's a quirkest asshole who Izuku needs to steer clear from... even though he's literally the one to save Izuku from literally living in misery.
All Might deserves to be an actual mentor and father figure for Izuku, not fucking Aizawa who openly expressed his hatred for the boy.
The League of Villains:
I already made a post on how the narrative did them dirty and I don't feel like repeating myself, so I'm just gonna leave a link here while adding this.
What was even the point of building them up to be forgiven by their foils if they were just gonna die in the end? It was all just a big time waster.
And of course, we can't talk about characters and how the author failed them without talking about...
Izuku Midoriya:
Oh Izuku... the most tragic and wasted main character I've ever seen in an anime series.
He started off so strong only to get worse as the series went on. He should've been the shining definition of what a hero SHOULD be! He should've been the one to realize how fucked their world was and strive to change it for the better and to prevent others like him from suffering like he did.
But... we didn't get any of that.
We don't get acknowledgment of his past, we don't get him rising from his pain and become something more. Instead we get a watered down version of him at the beginning who has NO reaction or introspection to anything whatsoever, not to the world they live in, to the way things are handled, and even to him losing OFA.
For some odd fucking reason, Izuku is never allowed to grow out "I'm worthless" mindset or realization that everyone in his life has failed him in one way or another. He just praises it all like the fanboy he is and just stays where he is.
And then there's the fact that he just flat out refuses to ever acknowledge his past in any meaningful way, as whenever he DOES bring it up, he talks about his past self as if he's a different person from him. To which I can kinda see how this could be symbolic of something... But it just doesn't work as it only makes him look horrible for forgetting his roots and just wanting to fit in with the other people with quirks. To which it somewhat feels like "Fuck the quirkless they're useless so why even focus on them?"
He's a hollow version of the idea of his character, just blankly reacting to things in front of him and praising Bakugou for being the best thing to come around. He honestly deserves better and deserves to be with a writer that won't bully him and give him the depth and development he needs.
Now who else am I missing...?
...
Oh yeah!
Katsuki Bakugou is still trash.
Look forward to the next part.

CAN WE HARNESS THE ENERGY OF A BLACK HOLE??
Blog#339
Wednesday, October 11th, 2023
Welcome back,
A remarkable prediction of Einstein's theory of general relativity -- the theory that connects space, time and gravity -- is that rotating black holes have enormous amounts of energy available to be tapped.
For the last 50 years, scientists have tried to come up with methods to unleash this power.
Tumblr media
Now, in a U.S. National Science Foundation-funded study published in Physical Review D, physicists Luca Comisso of Columbia University and Felipe Asenjo of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile have found a new way to extract energy from black holes by breaking and rejoining magnetic field lines near the event horizon, the point at which nothing, not even light, can escape a black hole's gravitational pull.
Tumblr media
"Black holes are commonly surrounded by a hot 'soup' of plasma particles that carry a magnetic field," said Comisso. "Our theory shows that when magnetic field lines disconnect and reconnect in just the right way, they can accelerate plasma particles to negative energies, and large amounts of black hole energy can be extracted."
The U.S. National Science Foundation-funded research results could allow astronomers to better estimate the spin of black holes and possibly discover a source of energy for the needs of an advanced civilization, Comisso said.
Tumblr media
Comisso and Asenjo built their theory on the premise that reconnecting magnetic fields accelerates plasma particles in two different directions. One plasma flow is pushed against the black hole's spin, while the other is propelled in the spin's direction and can escape the clutches of the black hole. That releases power if the plasma swallowed by the black hole has negative energy.
Tumblr media
"It is like a person could lose weight by eating candy with negative calories," said Comisso, who explained that essentially a black hole loses energy by eating negative-energy particles. "This might sound weird," he said, "but it can happen in a region called the ergosphere, where the spacetime continuum rotates so fast that every object spins in the same direction as the black hole."
Tumblr media
Inside the ergosphere, magnetic reconnection is so extreme that the plasma particles are accelerated to velocities approaching the speed of light.
While it may sound like the stuff of science fiction, mining energy from black holes could be the answer to our future power needs.
Tumblr media
"Thousands or millions of years from now, humanity might be able to survive around a black hole without harnessing energy from stars," Comisso said. "It is essentially a technological problem. If we look at the physics, there is nothing that prevents it."
Tumblr media
Added Vyacheslav Lukin, a program director in NSF's Division of Physics, "The ideas and concepts in this work are truly fascinating, as is the potential translation of these studies of black hole astrophysics into the practical realm."

AI finds new ways to observe the most extreme events in the universe
Extreme cosmic events such as colliding black holes or the explosions of stars can cause ripples in spacetime, so-called gravitational waves. Their discovery opened a new window into the universe. To observe them, ultra-precise detectors are required. Designing them remains a major scientific challenge for humans. Researchers at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light (MPL) have been working on how an artificial intelligence system could explore an unimaginably vast space of possible designs to find entirely new solutions. The results were recently published in the journal ›Physical Review X‹.
More than a century ago, Einstein theoretically predicted gravitational waves. They could only be directly detected in 2016 because the development of the necessary detectors was extremely complex. Dr. Mario Krenn, head of the research group ›Artificial Scientist Lab‹ at MPL, in collaboration with the team of LIGO (“Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory”), who built those detectors successfully, has designed an AI-based algorithm called ›Urania‹ to design novel interferometric gravitational wave detectors. Interferometry describes a measurement method which uses the interference of waves, i.e. their superposition when they meet. Detector design requires optimizing both layout and parameters. The scientists have converted this challenge into a continuous optimization problem and solved it using methods inspired by modern machine learning. They have found many new experimental designs which outperform the best known next-generation detectors. These results have the potential to improve the range of detectable signals by more than an order of magnitude.
Nonconformist and creative: that’s what Urania discovered
In the algorithm’s solutions, the researchers rediscovered numerous known techniques. ›Urania‹ also proposed unorthodox designs which could reshape our understanding of detector technology. “After roughly two years of developing and running our AI algorithms, we discovered dozens of new solutions that seem to be better than experimental blueprints by human scientists. We asked ourselves what humans overlooked in comparison to the machine,” says Krenn. The researchers expanded their scientific approach to understand the AI-discovered tricks, ideas, and techniques. Many of them are still completely alien to them. They have compiled 50 top-performing designs in a public ›Detector Zoo‹ and made them available to the scientific community for further research.
The recently published work shows that AI can uncover novel detector designs and inspire human researchers to explore new experimental and theoretical ideas. More broadly, it suggests that AI could play a major role in designing future tools for exploring the universe, from the smallest to the largest scales. “We are in an era where machines can discover new super-human solutions in science, and the task of humans is to understand what the machine has done. This will certainly become a very prominent part of the future of science,” says Krenn.

This article is from last year but since I posted about detransitioners earlier this week I think this is relevant
Testosterone Therapy in a Transgender Male Patient as a cause of Acute Ischemic Stroke (P2-5.011)
Christina Tan, Lauren Kim Sing, Ron Danziger, Alex Aw, Chae Kim, Stephen Avila, Vilakshan Alambyan, Angud Mehdi, Michael Gezalian, Maranatha Ayodele, and Shahed ToossiAuthors Info & Affiliations
April 25, 2023 issue
Objective:
To share an intriguing case of a young transgender male patient receiving testosterone therapy who developed locked-in syndrome due to an acute ischemic stroke and to highlight potential risk factors for stroke in the LGBTQI+ community
Background:
There are many studies identifying risk factors for stroke in racially and ethnically diverse populations. However, there is little existing data for stroke risk factors in the LGBTQI+ community. Prior research has shown testosterone therapy in cis-gender men with initially low levels of testosterone increases the risk of stroke, especially in the first 2 years of use1. While testosterone therapy has been shown to increase the risk of venous thrombosis, its role in arterial thrombosis is unclear2. A proposed mechanism for thrombosis with testosterone replacement includes erythrocytosis, but the potential contribution of an independent pro-coagulant effect is yet to be determined3.
Design/Methods:
Literature review and case report.
Results:
An otherwise healthy 23-year-old transgender male on one year of testosterone therapy presented in an obtunded state. Examination revealed complete quadriplegia with sparing of vertical eye movements, consistent with locked-in syndrome. Imaging revealed complete occlusion of the basilar artery with distal reconstitution at the superior cerebellar arteries, and a large bilateral ischemic infarct of the pons. Computed tomography angiography did not demonstrate other large vessel disease or structural vascular abnormalities. Unfortunately, the patient was out of the time window for any acute stroke interventions. A hypercoagulable workup was performed but results were unrevealing and hematocrit was normal. Further investigation with transthoracic echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram, and telemetry were negative for thrombus, patent foramen ovale, and atrial fibrillation.
Conclusions:
Acute ischemic stroke may be an under recognized complication of testosterone therapy in transgender males independent of degree of erythrocytosis. Further research is needed to establish a safety profile of testosterone therapy in this understudied population.

Movie Review | Cyclone (Ray, 1987)
Tumblr media
Things I liked about this movie:
The motorcycle and car stunts, which are quite impressive for the budget.
Jeffrey Combs, even if he video calls the bulk of his performance from beyond the grave! Ooooohhhhh…. Okay, it’s not that spooky, he just left a bunch of video messages to be played by his girlfriend after his death. Even though he seems to pause for her reaction multiple times. Also, “I love it when you fuck up Einstein.”
Fred Olen Ray’s distinct brand of cinephilia, which leads him to cast such stars of the silver screen as Huntz Hall and Troy Donahue.
Heather Thomas and Ashley Ferrare duking it out in a surprisingly not terrible fight scene. And the earlier insult Thomas throws at Ferrare. “You’re as plastic as your tits!”
The rad motorcycle sweatshirt Thomas wears throughout the movie.
David Letterman’s method for differentiating Heather Thomas from Locklear.
The dangerous amount of hair product onscreen.
Things I didn’t like about this movie:
The knockoff Phil Collins on the soundtrack for the solid minute it attempts some real ‘80s neon mood. I’ve gotten multiple listens of “In The Air Tonight” recently thanks to Miami Vice and Risky Business, and a song trying to sound like it while skirting the boundaries of plagiarism sticks out like a sore thumb.
The closeup of Ashley Ferrare’s boobs that the movie opens with, which somehow seems pervier than having actual nudity. At least real nudity is honest about its intentions.
The clinical zoning out I experienced anytime this tried to push the plot along. This is the third Fred Olen Ray movie I’ve seen after Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers and Evil Toons. Those are naked exercises in exploitation, offering you a threadbare narrative upon which to hang a bunch of nude scenes and maybe some gags, and because of that, I enjoyed them enough. This one tries to be more of a real movie (a high tech vehicular conspiracy thriller, like Blue Thunder on the cheap), which Ray isn’t a good enough director to pull off.

How AI & Automation Are Changing the Future of Lead Generation
“The future is already here — it’s just not evenly distributed.” – William Gibson
In the high-stakes world of sales, timing, personalization, and speed are everything. Traditional outbound lead generation methods—cold calls, batch-and-blast emails, static prospect lists—are rapidly becoming relics. Today, AI and automation are not just buzzwords; they’re redefining the future of lead generation services. The companies that understand and leverage these technologies will own the pipeline, dominate the market, and outpace competitors still stuck in the past.
Tumblr media
This blog explores how AI and automation are transforming outbound lead generation, and how businesses and agencies can harness these innovations to generate better leads, faster—and at scale.
Why Traditional Lead Generation Models Are Breaking Down
Outbound lead generation has always been about finding the right prospects, reaching out with the right message, and doing it at the right time. But doing this manually is:
Time-consuming: Reps waste hours researching prospects and writing emails.
Inconsistent: Results vary wildly from one salesperson to another.
Scalable only with cost: Growth often means hiring more SDRs—not increasing efficiency.
Meanwhile, buyer behavior has changed. According to Gartner, 77% of B2B buyers say their latest purchase was very complex or difficult, and most of their journey is digital and self-directed. This means lead generation must be smarter, more targeted, and more automated.
How AI Is Powering a New Era of Lead Generation Services
1. Smarter Prospecting with Predictive Analytics
AI tools can now analyze your existing customer data to predict who is most likely to convert next. Platforms like Apollo, ZoomInfo, and 6sense use behavioral signals, firmographics, and intent data to:
Build dynamic ideal customer profiles (ICPs)
Identify high-fit, high-intent prospects
Prioritize leads based on conversion likelihood
Instead of sifting through thousands of contacts, sales teams now focus only on those most likely to buy.
2. Hyper-Personalized Outreach at Scale
Personalization is no longer a luxury—it’s an expectation. AI copywriting assistants like Lavender, SmartWriter, or ChatGPT can:
Craft custom email intros based on LinkedIn bios, job roles, and industry news
A/B test subject lines and CTAs automatically
Suggest optimal sending times and sequences
The result? Higher open, reply, and conversion rates—without adding extra hours to your SDRs’ workload.
3. AI Chatbots & Virtual Assistants for 24/7 Engagement
AI-powered chatbots like Drift and Intercom can handle initial prospect interactions around the clock. They:
Qualify leads in real-time based on preset logic
Route hot leads to the right sales reps
Book meetings directly into calendars
This means your lead generation services don’t stop when the workday ends—and your funnel keeps filling even while you sleep.
4. Intent-Based Advertising and Retargeting
AI is revolutionizing outbound lead generation by aligning outreach with buyer intent signals.
Platforms like Bombora and LeadSift monitor what your target audience is researching online
This data triggers automated ads, emails, or outreach sequences
You engage leads the moment they’re actively researching a solution like yours
It’s no longer about being first—it’s about being right on time.
5. Automated Lead Scoring and CRM Integration
AI takes the guesswork out of lead qualification. Modern CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce Einstein, Zoho) now include:
Predictive lead scoring models
Auto-tagging based on engagement and demographics
Workflow automation to assign leads to reps instantly
Sales reps no longer waste time chasing dead-end leads—they’re focused on the ones that actually close.
The Real Impact: Data-Driven Results from AI-Powered Campaigns
Companies that have embraced AI-led lead generation are seeing measurable gains:
60% increase in qualified leads (Harvard Business Review)
40% reduction in customer acquisition cost (Salesforce Research)
35% increase in appointment booking rates via AI-enhanced cadences (Outreach.io)
Whether you're running in-house campaigns or outsourcing to a lead generation service, automation adds speed, accuracy, and consistency that human-only teams can’t match.
Challenges to Watch (and How to Overcome Them)
While AI and automation offer clear benefits, they also come with challenges:
Over-automation can lead to robotic messaging → Solution: Use human oversight to review and refine
Bad data in = bad results → Solution: Regularly clean and enrich your data sources
Compliance and privacy risks → Solution: Ensure your tools are GDPR and Spam Act compliant, and be transparent with outreach
The key is to balance human creativity with machine efficiency.
The Future Is Hybrid: AI + Human Expertise
The best lead generation results don’t come from choosing between humans and machines—they come from combining the strengths of both. AI handles the research, writing, timing, and scoring. Humans bring nuance, relationship-building, and judgment.
Outbound lead generation is no longer about just working harder. It’s about working smarter—with AI and automation as your co-pilot.

Reiki Demystified: From Japanese Origins to Evidence-Based Energy Work
In a world increasingly dominated by technological solutions to health challenges, the gentle practice of Reiki offers something different, a return to the fundamental understanding that energy flows are central to well being. At Holly Neighbours' Auckland studio, this Japanese healing art is neither mystified nor modernized beyond recognition, but rather presented with both historical authenticity and scientific context.
The True Origins of Reiki Practice
Contrary to some new age narratives, Reiki has a clear historical beginning. Developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui after a 21-day meditation retreat on Mount Kurama, Reiki (霊気) combines the Japanese words for "universal" (rei) and "life energy" (ki).
"Understanding Reiki's actual history matters," explains Holly, who provides professional Reiki sessions in Auckland. "Usui wasn't creating something entirely new, he was synthesising Buddhist energy practices, traditional Japanese healing methods, and his own spiritual insights into a system that could be taught and practiced systematically."
Through her Reiki I and II certifications, Holly maintains the lineage of traditional hand positions and symbols while adapting the practice for contemporary contexts. This balance honors Reiki's Japanese Buddhist roots while making it accessible to diverse clients.
Research-Supported Benefits: What Studies Show
While skeptics once dismissed Reiki entirely, a growing body of peer-reviewed research has documented measurable effects:
A 2019 systematic review in the Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine found Reiki effective for pain and anxiety reduction compared to placebo
Research at Hartford Hospital showed Reiki sessions reduced pain by 78% and anxiety by 80% in surgical patients
Studies measuring heart rate variability demonstrate increased parasympathetic nervous system activation during and after Reiki treatments
Measurements of practitioners' hands show significantly increased infrared energy emission during Reiki sessions
"The research doesn't explain everything about how Reiki works," Holly acknowledges, "but it confirms what practitioners and recipients have known intuitively that something measurable happens during sessions that promotes healing responses."
What makes Holly's energy healing approach distinctive is her willingness to embrace both the empirical evidence and the experiential aspects without overreaching claims.
Beyond Placebo: Mechanisms of Action
Scientists have proposed several mechanisms to explain Reiki's documented effects:
The biofield theory suggests we possess electromagnetic fields that Reiki practitioners can influence, supported by research measuring electromagnetic emissions from practitioners' hands. The psychoneuroimmunological model focuses on how deep relaxation during Reiki activates self-healing through nervous system regulation. Others point to quantum entanglement theories to explain distance Reiki effects.
"I don't believe we need to choose just one explanation," Holly notes. "The beauty of Reiki is that it likely works through multiple pathways simultaneously, energetic, psychological, and physiological."
Holly's Level II training enables her to perform distance healing, which research suggests may function through principles similar to quantum non-locality, the phenomenon Einstein famously called "spooky action at a distance."
Experiencing Reiki with Historical and Scientific Context
For first-time clients, Holly provides both historical context and relevant research before sessions begin. This educational component demystifies the practice while setting realistic expectations.
"When people understand both where Reiki comes from and what science has observed about its effects, they can engage more fully with the experience," Holly explains. "Knowledge deepens the healing process rather than diminishing its mystery."
For Aucklanders seeking energy work grounded in both tradition and evidence, Holly Neighbours offers Reiki sessions that honor the practice's Japanese origins while embracing contemporary understanding, a rare balance in today's polarised wellness landscape.

Can AI Product Marketing Help You Launch Products Faster and Smarter Than Competitors?
In today’s fast-paced market, speed is everything—but speed alone isn’t enough. The brands that win are those that combine speed with strategy. That’s exactly where AI product marketing is changing the game. It’s not just a futuristic buzzword—it’s a practical, data-driven approach that empowers businesses to launch smarter, faster, and with greater precision than ever before.
Tumblr media
What Is AI Product Marketing, Really?
AI product marketing is the use of artificial intelligence tools and algorithms to analyze data, generate insights, automate tasks, and personalize marketing efforts throughout the product lifecycle. From market research and messaging to launch and optimization, AI enhances each step with automation and intelligence.
1. Accelerated Market Research and Trend Forecasting
Before launching a product, understanding the market is critical. Traditional methods take weeks—AI does it in hours. AI tools can scan billions of data points from search trends, competitor activity, social chatter, and consumer behavior to give you a sharp, up-to-the-minute picture of what’s happening in your niche. Want to know what your target audience is craving? AI tells you now—not next quarter.
2. Smarter Product Positioning and Messaging
AI doesn't just collect data—it interprets it. Natural language processing (NLP) helps decode how people talk about pain points, preferences, and desires. This helps brands create tailored messaging that feels like a one-on-one conversation, not a sales pitch. When your value proposition speaks the customer’s language, you stand out.
3. Rapid Content Generation and Personalization
Launching a product requires a ton of content—emails, landing pages, ads, blogs, and more. AI writing tools can generate drafts based on brand voice and customer profiles, cutting production time in half. More impressively, AI enables hyper-personalization, creating variations of content that cater to different audience segments without manual rewriting.
4. Automated Campaign Execution
AI-based platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, or Salesforce Einstein can automatically segment audiences, schedule campaigns, adjust ad budgets, and trigger workflows based on behavior. This means less manual work and more agility. If one message isn’t working, AI adjusts in real time—no need to wait for a marketing team review.
5. Real-Time Analytics and Optimization
Post-launch, AI shines brightest in helping teams adapt fast. Machine learning tracks KPIs like engagement, conversions, and churn. Based on performance, the system offers actionable recommendations or even auto-optimizes ongoing campaigns. The result? You don’t just launch fast—you stay ahead.
6. Shorter Feedback Loops, Faster Iteration
AI-powered customer feedback analysis tools gather sentiment from reviews, support tickets, social media, and even voice inputs. This means you can make product improvements or tweaks to positioning almost instantly—before a small problem becomes a major issue.
7. Better Team Collaboration with AI Assistants
AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or Notion AI now act as virtual marketing assistants—drafting copy, generating ideas, organizing launches, or even suggesting marketing playbooks based on prior data. This means your team can focus more on strategy and creativity, while AI handles the repetitive grind.
The Competitive Advantage: Speed + Accuracy
Your competitors might be fast—but are they making data-informed decisions in real time? AI product marketing arms you with both speed and intelligence. It eliminates guesswork, automates execution, and enhances precision at every step.
When launching a new product, that’s not just helpful—it’s decisive.
Final Thoughts
Can AI product marketing help you launch faster and smarter than your competitors? Absolutely. It's not about replacing marketers—it’s about augmenting them. By leveraging AI, your business can move quickly without sacrificing quality, pivot with confidence, and connect with customers in meaningful ways.

The Chapter of Preaching Tao, Article 6: The Unified Field of the Universe
Xuefeng
December 30, 2005
(Translation edited by Qinyou)
The term "universe" encompasses all infinite space (宇) and all infinite time (宙). Thus, the universe is a composite of material and nonmaterial components, constituted by infinite space and infinite time.
The "unified field of the universe" refers to the laws that universally apply to all times and spaces—essentially, "universal laws" that hold true everywhere.
Establishing a unified field of the universe has been the dream and pursuit of scientists. They envision using a simple, clear formula to describe this unified field theory—a formula that could be called the ultimate formula, applicable to all fields.
It is said that Einstein spent thirty years of his later life attempting to find this formula, but in the end, he was left lamenting and empty-handed. Modern scientists, whether globally renowned or obscure, have all employed various methods in their quest to solve the problem of the unified field of the universe, hoping to achieve the glory of solving this problem, akin in significance to the Goldbach conjecture.
The promising prospect is alluring, but it remains as elusive as a mirage—seemingly near, yet far. After reviewing the history and paths they have taken, I found that they have made a fundamental directional error.
First, let us consider the scientists' perspectives. Their views are uniformly focused on the material world, completely ignoring the nonmaterial world. It's like admiring a beautiful woman's smooth, tender skin and feeling the breath of love, while entirely overlooking the myriad charms and graces of her inner world. Thus, scientists are not masters of love in the unified field of the universe but are like jaded veterans lingering in the red-light district.
Scientists believe that there are four fundamental forces in the universe: magnetic force, gravitational force, strong nuclear force, and weak nuclear force. They think that if a formula or theory could seamlessly incorporate these four forces, a unified field of the universe could be established, allowing them to effortlessly enjoy the mysteries of the universe and marvel at its wonders.
They are deeply intoxicated by their own fantasies and find it difficult to extricate themselves. Not to mention establishing a unified field of the universe—they are currently unable to unify even these four forces with a single formula. Even if they were one day to unify them, it would be akin to Tang Monk encountering a false Thunder Sound Temple on his journey to the West, rather than the true Thunder Sound Temple where the Ancestral Buddha Tathagata resides.
How many fundamental forces are there in the universe?
Answer: There are eight—magnetic force, gravitational force, strong force, weak force, structural force, repulsive force, conscious force, and spiritual force.
Here is a brief description of these eight forces:
l Magnetic Force: The interaction between charged particles.
l Gravitational Force: The force of attraction between masses, caused by the curvature of spacetime due to mass and motion.
l Strong Force: The force that binds quarks together in protons and neutrons and binds protons and neutrons together in atomic nuclei.
l Weak Force: The force that acts on all matter particles but not on force-carrying particles.
l Structural Force: The force generated by the structure of material and nonmaterial components, with each structure having its unique energy absorption force.
l Repulsive Force: The force that causes like charges or poles to repel each other.
l Conscious Force: A force similar to the brain's ability to make the bladder and urethra start working when one wants to urinate.
l Spiritual Force: The force that causes mutual perception between things.
I have said that scientists cannot establish a unified field theory of the universe primarily because they cannot measure or calculate the latter four forces. Even though these four forces cannot be measured or calculated, we cannot deny or ignore their existence. Since they exist, and you cannot incorporate them into a single formula or theoretical system, you cannot establish a unified field of the universe. This is the fundamental reason why Einstein's efforts were in vain.
At this point, many "scientists" might mock Xuefeng. Go ahead and mock! Laugh to your heart's content! Let's see who will laugh last.
So, can the unified field of the universe not be established? No, it has already been established.
This is—the Tao of the Greatest Creator, also known as the holographic system, composed of the three elements of the universe: consciousness, structure, and energy.
The universe is holographic, and the Tao of the Greatest Creator encompasses the eight forces mentioned above, incorporating them wonderfully into a unified system.
Scientists have focused their attention only on the material world, ignoring the nonmaterial world. But the universe is composed of both material and nonmaterial components, existing in infinite time and infinite space. How can a unified field of the universe be established if the nonmaterial world is ignored?
This is Lifechanyuan's unified field theory of the universe.
The remaining task is to work on the "Tao."
Why is this called "The Chapter of Preaching Tao"? This should now be clear.

Physicists ‘bootstrap’ validity of string theory
NYU and Caltech scientists develop innovative mathematical approach to back existence of long-held framework explaining all physical reality
String theory, conceptualized more than 50 years ago as a framework to explain the formation of matter, remains elusive as a “provable” phenomenon. But a team of physicists has now taken a significant step forward in validating string theory by using an innovative mathematical method that points to its “inevitability.”
String theory posits that the most basic building blocks of nature are not particles, but, rather, one-dimensional vibrating strings that move at different frequencies in determining the type of particle that emerges—akin to how vibrations of string instruments produce an array of musical notes.
In their work, reported in the journal Physical Review Letters, New York University and Caltech researchers posed the following question: “What is the math question to which string theory is the only answer?” This approach to understanding physics is known as the “bootstrap,” which is reminiscent of the adage about “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps”—producing results without additional assistance or, in this case, input.
The bootstrap has previously allowed physicists to understand why general relativity and various particle theories—like the interactions of gluons inside of protons—are mathematically inevitable: they are the only consistent mathematical structures, under certain criteria.
However, the same question had not previously been answered for string theory: What criteria uniquely determine it by mathematically picking it out from the set of all possible theories?
In the Physical Review Letters paper, the scientists discovered a way to bootstrap these string amplitudes—specifically, constructing them through the creation of mathematical formulas. By implementing special mathematical conditions on their formulas for scattering amplitudes—which describe how particles interact and ultimately form—the group found that the amplitudes of string theory emerged as the only consistent answer.
“This paper provides an answer to this string-theory question for the first time,” says Grant Remmen, a James Arthur Postdoctoral Fellow in NYU’s Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics and one of the authors of the paper. “Now that these mathematical conditions are known, it brings us a step closer to understanding if and why string theory must describe our universe.”
The paper’s authors, who also included Clifford Cheung, a professor of theoretical physics at Caltech, and Aaron Hillman, a Caltech postdoctoral researcher, add that this breakthrough may be useful in better understanding quantum gravity—it seeks to reconcile Einstein’s theory of relativity, which explains large-scale gravity, with quantum mechanics, which describes particle activity at the smallest scales.
“This approach opens a new area of study in analyzing the uniqueness of string amplitudes,” explains Remmen. “The development of tools outlined in our research can be used to investigate deformations of string theory, allowing us to map a space of possibilities for quantum gravity.”
IMAGE: Visualization of the allowed values of "dial settings" in the scattering amplitudes that describe the probability for particles to interact in the models introduced in this new work. The regions in green are consistent with unitarity, the conservation of quantum mechanical probability. These models were obtained from the authors' new mathematical methods, which produce deformations of string theory. Credit Grant Remmen, NYU's Department of Physics.

Unlocking the Mysteries of Antimatter: Positronium Laser Cooling Breakthrough - Technology Org
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/unlocking-the-mysteries-of-antimatter-positronium-laser-cooling-breakthrough-technology-org/
Unlocking the Mysteries of Antimatter: Positronium Laser Cooling Breakthrough - Technology Org
The AEgIS experiment at CERN has made a groundbreaking advancement by successfully demonstrating laser cooling of positronium (Ps), an exotic atom composed equally of matter and antimatter.
Photograph of the AEgIS antimatter trap. Image credit: University of Liverpool
This significant development, published in a paper in Physical Review Letters, marks a pivotal moment in the exploration of the fundamental symmetries of the universe and involved several members of Liverpool’s QUASAR Group.
Positronium, a unique atom made of an electron and its antimatter counterpart, the positron, stands out due to the absence of a hadronic nucleus, allowing for extremely precise numerical calculations of quantum states and transitions.
The transient nature of positronium, with its constituents usually annihilating each other in few hundred nanoseconds, along with their high velocities, has traditionally posed a formidable challenge to scientists attempting to study its properties experimentally.
The recent breakthrough by the AEgIS collaboration, where the UK’s contribution is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), overcomes these challenges by employing broadband laser cooling.
This technique, which involves the transfer of momentum from specifically tailored laser light to the positronium atoms, allows for the cooling of the entire positronium ensemble in the direction of the laser. This approach differs from more selective narrow-band Doppler cooling methods and represents a significant innovation in the field.
Dr Benjamin Rienäcker, newly-elected AEgIS Physics Coordinator and a member of the Liverpool QUASAR Group based at CERN, said: “The implications of this achievement extend beyond the technical success of laser cooling positronium. It paves the way for more accurate measurements, crucial for advancing our understanding of antimatter and its role in the universe. I expect this breakthrough to enable new experiments, offering fresh insights into the cosmic matter-antimatter imbalance and the universe’s fundamental building blocks.”
The successful laser cooling of positronium significantly enhances the AEgIS experiment’s efforts towards antihydrogen formation. It opens up entirely new pathways for precision experiments in Quantum Electrodynamics and tests of the Equivalence Principle with positronium. Furthermore, it enables the formation of positronium beams and the exploration of Bose-Einstein condensates, expanding the scope for inertial tests and studies on macroscopic quantum objects.
Dr Ruggero Caravita, spokesperson for the AEgIS collaboration, has been awaiting this result for almost a full decade: “When I witnessed the first atomic excitation of positronium at AEgIS back in 2015, I knew we could be the ones to achieve this more than thirty years old dream of antimatter physicists. It has now become a reality, thanks to the efforts of everybody involved.”
Professor Carsten P Welsch, who leads the University of Liverpool contribution to the AEgIS experiment, added: “By exploring the properties and behaviour of exotic atoms like positronium, we are advancing our knowledge of fundamental physics at the same time as opening doors to technological innovations with potentially much wider applications. This fantastic result is testament to the excellent teamwork and collaboration within AEgIS.”
Liverpool physicists have made important contributions to the antimatter physics community for many years: The QUASAR Group has pioneered a large number of detector and sensor innovations for low energy antiproton beams, and Liverpool initiated and coordinated the multi-million Euro Accelerators Validating Antimatter physics (AVA) research network – the largest-ever research and training network on low energy antimatter physics.
The AEgIS breakthrough lays the foundation for an exciting physics programme ahead.

'Christopher Nolan’s epic blockbuster movie Oppenheimer charts the career of Robert Oppenheimer, a Jewish American, theoretical physicist from university to his involvement in the Manhattan Project and the building of his Los Alamos laboratory during World War Two. It then shows how McCarthyism in the 1950s witch-hunted him and destroyed his life.
Set against the backdrop of the rise of the Nazis, total war and then the Cold War, Cillian Murphy plays the eponymous character, Robert Oppenheimer, a conflicted and somewhat troubled man with socialist sympathies, including association with the American Communist Party and supporting the Spanish Civil War effort, sending aid to refugees of fascism.
Oppenheimer’s brilliance in the field of quantum physics is quickly recognised despite his frustrations within a laboratory setting, but his involvement in attempting to unionise professors in the radiation lab sees him being excluded initially from talks around developing nuclear weapons.
The film deals with a number of themes, one being the rise of communism and possible revolution across the world, and the capitalist classes’ brutal methods of quashing any such movements. The atomic bomb that Oppenheimer was instrumental in creating may have originally been intended for use in Germany, but the defeat of Hitler meant it was used instead on the Japanese. This was done, not to end the conflict, as the Japanese war effort was collapsing, but as a warning to the Soviet Union and the Stalinist bureaucracy to limit their plans of geopolitical dominance.
Another theme which Nolan tackles quite skilfully is the question of morals. Since the first splitting of the atom, the dropping of thousands of pounds of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan, and until this very day people have opposed nuclear weapons, including most of the scientists who worked on developing them at Alamos, who signed a petition against them.
The scientists, including Oppenheimer, faced the dilemma of their desire to advance their research and test their theories on the one hand, and the utter destruction that is caused by the results on the other. This is played out beautifully in the film in the interactions between Oppenheimer and Albert Einstein and the rivalry between Oppenheimer and fellow physicist Edward Teller.
Moral dilemma
The weaving of this moral dilemma throughout is given a sombre perspective with the use of effects as a vehicle to show Oppenheimer’s inner doubts and fears. When he addresses the community at Los Alamos after the first bomb has been dropped, he makes crude jokes about having won, and how the Japanese won’t have liked it. However, he can’t stop imagining the full horror of its consequences which are shown cleverly by the people in the crowd being stripped of their skin and vomiting due to radiation poisoning.
It is raised again through the hearing Oppenheimer is subsequently subjected to when he voices his objection to atomic bombs becoming part of US policy and against the hydrogen bomb suggested by Teller.
The film’s drama switches often to the issues surrounding his security clearance hearing in 1954. There, his opponents use his links to the US Communist Party – including his wife Kitty who was an ex-party member and whose union organiser ex-husband was killed fighting fascism in Spain, and the affair he had with Jean Tatlock, a full party member – as evidence of his threat to national security. His security clearance is rescinded meaning he could no longer influence policy during the Cold War and arms race that subsequently developed between the US and Soviet Union. They claimed the Soviets got the atomic bomb technology from a spy at Los Alamos.
The ensemble cast of Matt Damon as the colonel in charge of Los Alamos, Robert Downey Junior as Lewis Strauss the man behind the downfall of Oppenheimer, and Emily Blunt as his wife, Kitty, lends itself to the magnificence of the film alongside the beautiful and haunting score by Ludwig Göransson.
The film closes poignantly with Oppenheimer recalling his discussion with Einstein over whether there was a possibility of a never-ending chain reaction being sparked which could ignite the atmosphere and destroy the world, juxtaposed with the reality of a metaphorical chain reaction of continued war and human destruction.
Oppenheimer is a useful indictment of how capitalism and imperialism uses advances in technology for their own gains and why we should organise to stop them.'

Imagination is a powerful tool. But make sure you aren't using it against you! 💯 by Tim Han from Success Insider
Have you ever paused to consider the incredible power that lies within your imagination? You might have used it as a child, inventing fantastical worlds and whimsical characters. Or perhaps you use it now in your work, designing innovative solutions or crafting compelling stories. But, do you ever think about how you utilise this in your personal life? Your imagination - that mystical tool within - holds vast potential, both for your success and personal growth.
Take a moment to think back. When were the different instances you used your imagination positively? When did you find it spiralling into the realm of anxiety and worry? Like any powerful tool, if not wielded rightly, your imagination could inadvertently become a weapon against your own self.
I've been there, been that person who worried endlessly about the future, imagining disaster upon disaster. But the perspective shifted, the day I realized I was using my imagination against myself - not just once, not twice, but repetitively.
It was in the midst of my own awakening that Success Insider was born, a platform designed to empower individuals to believe in themselves by harnessing the power of their imagination. At its core, was the idea that, with proper guidance and a shift in perspective, anyone could mould their imagination into a force for positive change.
The trick lies in channeling this invincible yet often uncapped power to our benefit. One of the fundamental ways is through positive visualization. This is a method employed by successful people all over the world, from world-class athletes like Michael Phelps to pioneering entrepreneurs like Oprah Winfrey. Utilize your imagination to paint a mental picture of the person you aspire to be, the goals you yearn to achieve.
In the words of Albert Einstein, "Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions."
But, how does one turn imagination into action?
Firstly, acknowledge and let go of fears and worries. Remember, what you focus on expands, which is why it so important to make a deliberate choice about what you want to manifest in your life.
Secondly, set clear and specific goals. Outline them vividly enough that you can feel, touch, and smell your dreams when you close your eyes. Remember, the more detailed your vision, the higher the chance of it materializing.
Lastly, take inspired action. A dream locked in your mind is of no use until you act upon it. Rest assured, each small step counts.
It bears reminding that this is a journey of transformation, one that requires patience, perseverance, attention to the changes within, and the readiness to adapt to the changes around.
Throughout my journey, I've received countless reviews sharing the relief and freedom readers have experienced in making this transformational shift. Some are students of the LMA course, generously sharing their success stories - triumphs over their limitations, accomplishment of long-held dream, the joy of genuinely loving and accepting themselves.
The essence of the shared stories? They'd all taken control of their imagination, crafting it into a powerful ally rather than an adversary.
Imagination is an incredible resource we all possess. Use it thoughtfully to create a dynamic, vibrant vision of your life. Just as I did, you should consciously choose to wield this tool consciously for your growth, rather than letting it become an instrument of self-destruction.
Remember, your imagination is a preview of life's forthcoming attractions. Isn’t it time we became the conscious directors of this exciting masterpiece called Life?
So, ask yourself the following today: What am I choosing to imagine? Is it serving me? Or is it becoming a burden? Consider this the first step in understanding and controlling your imagination.
After all, the treasure lies not in the tool, but the hand that expertly wields it. Let that hand be yours.
Can you imagine that? A life crafted and directed by you, where your dreams are not just figments of imagination but a tangible reality? Now, that’s a beautiful, empowering thought worth conjuring. And trust me, you've already taken the very first step just by reading this. Now, imagine what’s next!
