insane to me that we never got an episode of supernatural set in the winchester mystery house. i need there to be an 11/22/63-style time rift at the top of one of the staircases to nowhere thatâs sending tourists back to like, 1899, and the brothers have to go through to rescue them and meet sarah winchester and debunk all the myths around her work and the âghostsâ that haunted her. or something
#you cannot tell me that sam winchester would not be OBSESSED with the winchester mystery house#like cmon#idk iâve never given much thought to writing case fic butâŠâŠ.. i might have to write this#ALSO!!! this is an excuse for the boys to meet 1901!cas#imagine dean praying to cas and a hot edwardian lady shows up#supernatural#spn#winchester mystery house

4t3 Conversion of SFTP's Edwardian Dress
A 4t3 conversion of a nice edwardian dress for all your ladies! Hope you like it! Enjoy! <3
âââââ âââââ
Known Problems:
the little frill that goes from the bust to the arms will clip in a lot of animations! It seems that this frill wasn't really made to this dress! The clipping also happens in ts4! I tried minimizing it, and this is my best result! It's not really apparent when the frill and the bust are the same color tho!
The breasts slider doesn't work with this dress! The frill looked even worse that way lol, the distortion was unbearable! I don't think that'll be a problem, since edwardian dresses mostly have the same bust silhouette (pigeon)!
LIGHTING GLITCHES ONLY APPEAR ON CAS!
* Note that teens and elders have neck gaps. This is sadly the price for having them available! For teens, try using this slider by gruesim!

ALL OG CREDITS GO TO @simsfromthepastâ! ITâS NOT MY MESHES, AND ITâS NOT MY TEXTURES, I JUST CONVERTED THEM TO THE SIMS 3!

household // 1910s caleb & lilith & lily [DOWNLOAD]
It's so much fun throwing the Vatores into random historical eras. This is what you'll get if you throw my late Edwardian Zhu-Vatore household into your game! I may have gone a bit overboard.
âââ tl;dr household download link & required cc below the cut âââ
There's absolutely gorgeous Edwardian cc out there, so I collected it for you đ
The Edwardian era was marked by excess and conspicuous consumption. They liked big hair and big hats, and by the end of the period people had come to agree that the sexiest shape a woman can be is cylindrical.
Caleb, Lily, and Lilith really pull off the look. Neither lady is particularly cylindrical, but they look great in these dresses and absolutely rock the Gibson Girl updo and fancy hats.
I aged Lily down and changed her hair color, removed Lilith's tattoos, and gave Caleb a basic dark form, but no other changes. I tried to make them cousins? But when I loaded the household onto my laptop, they weren't cousins anymore :(
You'll need Vintage Glamour, in addition to Vampires and Werewolves. A few of Caleb's outfits and his hair are from VG and you CANNOT pair side bangs with Edwardian clothing. It's a fashion law.
In order to cut back on the amount of cc, there's less variety of hats, hair, gloves, and shoes than I'd like. I also didn't include jewelry. If people are interested, I can put together a list of supplementary cc that can be swapped in.
Please tag me @dead-lights if you use these for anything! I'd love to see my pixel buddies walking around in other people's saves.
Now buckle up, y'all. This gets long.
download household [SFS]
Extract that into your Tray folder (in the same folder as your Mods folder). You should see the household in CAS when you open your gallery.

If you're trying to replace the default in-game:
move this household into wolfsbane manor with the default vatores, then delete the defaults
use mods/cheats to make the new lily the vatores' cousin (i think mccc and ui cheats can both do it)
move custom lily in with the volkov household - use cheats/mods to copy her default relationships if you'd like - and then delete default lily. you will also need to mod/cheat lily back into the moonwood collective if you want her to keep her position. all three characters still have their occult rank and powers. she does NOT keep her special moonwood mill gossip dialogue - not sure why.
TOU
don't put my stuff behind a paywall
don't claim my stuff as your own
don't violate the TOUs of the cc makers i've included
Please let me know if there are any problems - this is my first time putting up a household and I'm only mostly sure I did it right đ
I managed to get it to work on my laptop, so there's that.
If you're just here for the download, you're done now! If you're interested in learning more about Edwardian fashion, let me ramble at you for a bit :)
my notes
This isn't the most historically accurate set, but I'm calling it close enough - if you're interested in learning more about the era, Edwardian Promenade is a great place to start.
Edwardians had really weird, complicated rules about hat and glove wearing. For most of these outfits, people would don and remove their hats and gloves based on social context - they shouldn't be wearing gloves when they eat, for example, but should always wear gloves when they're dancing. It's hard to find consistent information about the specific rules, but I've read excerpts from the Edwardian equivalents of Miss Manners and Good Housekeeping and they are fascinating.
I found some great reference images for sportswear from Silhouettes Costumes. Caleb's athletic outfit is based on this contemporary illustration. The unfastened bottom button is a nice detail to have - it was fashionable for men to leave the last button undone, as a nod to King Edward.
The ladies have 3 sleep outfits - the first are nightgowns that they would wear to sleep, the second are corsets, with other undergarments still on underneath, and the third are chemises, which were worn under their corsets - the underest part of the underwear, essentially.
For an in-depth explanation of Edwardian lingerie, check out The Fashion Archaeologist's Blog. For information about Edwardian nighttime hair care, check out Sew Historically.
The girls are wearing lingerie dresses for their hot weather outfits - lacy dresses made with the same materials & techniques as lingerie. These were good casual afternoon dresses, and were sometimes worn without a corset. Learn more about them from The Dreamstress!

Maybe remus telling james about what happened with his family? Please please pleaseee
James was getting worried. The first summer he didnât hear from Remus, it made sense. He was a bit of a recluse, and they didnât know each other that well. Nose in a book all the time, maybe he didnât have time to respond to Jamesâs letters. Maybe he didnât want to.
The second summer, after James found out he was a werewolf, after they had a very touching moment of acceptance and fun year of mischief making, not hearing from Remus at all raised some red flags.
James wrote. And wrote. And wrote. And after a month of not getting any response, he was officially worried. He didnât want to leap to any conclusions- even though not writing was So unlike the Remus he had come to know- so he headed to the local library and went straight to the hidden section on wizarding families.
And found out that Lyall, Remusâs father, had a history of calling for the extermination of werewolves as a whole.
He had to do something. There was no way Remus was okay. There was no way-
He had to be careful about this. His parents had always taught him to be diplomatic in dicey situations (not that James had listened. Ever.) So he sat for a while and thought about what he could do. Would they let James in the door to check on Remus? He didnât think so. But he needed to get in- if he was able to check on Remus, and he was fine, then there wasnât a problem. But if he wasnât⊠and he probably wasnâtâŠâŠ
He wrote a few more letters.
And was met with more silence.
James was in the front seat of his family car. His parents were both too old to drive, and James wanted to make sure no one would get arrested if things went south, so behind the wheel was Maisie- seeing as she was Not A Person and instead the combined magical talent of hundreds of generations of Potters all shoved into carved and painted ivory (that was then shoved into an Edwardian walking dress), she couldnât be held accountable for her action but could, in fact, drive a car. James thought she was perfect for the job.
âTurn here, love?â Today she spoke with the voice of Jamesâs grandmother, who heâd never met.
James consulted his map, on which heâd marked Remusâs house with an X (because he liked to feel like a pirate), and said, âYeah, Maisie, here.â
They turned onto a residential street, lined with cookie-cutter houses and cookie-cutter lawns. It didnât look like the sort of place you could hide a werewolf.
âI think itâs so nice youâre bringing your friend a basket!â Maisie smiled over at him, her painted-on eyes fond. James felt a pang of guilt, he hadnât told her the plan.
âYeah,â He muttered.
About halfway down the street, she leaned over and glanced at his map, âHere, dear?â
James looked out the window, then down at his map, double-checking the address, âYeah, looks like it.â He was feeling nervous now.
âAlright, dear,â Maisie pulled over and put the car in park, âIâll just wait here while you give your friend your present.â
James opened the door, stepping out onto the blinding-white sidewalk. This whole place was too perfect, it gave him shivers. He picked up the gift basket he and Maisie had put together, shut the door- then changed his mind, opening the back door a crack (better to be ready)- and started up the walk.
He passed a mailbox right out of a movie- in cursive font it said Lupin, with a large, medium, and tiny handprint on the sides. The house was a lovely yellow, and the living room and kitchen lights were on. The upstairs window, where the kidsâ bedroom would be, was dark.
His skin crawled.
Trying his best to look innocent and well-intentioned, he knocked three times on the door.
After about thirty seconds, right when James was about to knock again, it opened.
A lady with Remusâs green eyes and curls opened the door, looking confused and a bit like she was looking at someone who shouldnât be there.
âHi! Iâm James, Iâm Remusâs friend from school!â He said, heart racing, âI brought him a basket, can I come in and see him?â
âOh, thatâs so nice of you,â She smiled, reaching for the basket, âBut Remus is sick right now, so Iâll just give him this for you.â
James pulled the basket away, trying to look casual, âI really want to see him though, itâll only be for a moment-â
âHeâs highly contagious-â
âIâm vaccinated!â James looked behind her, trying to see into the house- Remus wasnât in the living room, and not up the stairs-
âFor what?â
âUh, Everything!â He jerked the basket away as she grabbed it, sending a few apples from the Potter orchard rolling down the Lupinâs front steps. She wasnât gonna let him in, this was exactly what he feared would happen, and-
Ah, fuck it-
He spilled the entire basket onto Hope Lupinâs feet and used her moment of shock to push past her into their entryway.
âRemus!â He shouted, sprinting further into the house and looking around wildly.
âYou canât come in!â Hope sounded angry now, âGet out!â
âRemus!â He ran into their hall, seeing a door with a silver doorknob and a large lock. He banged his hands on the door, âRemus?!â
To his relief and to his horror, he heard a faint voice call, âJames?â
That was enough for him! He went to open it but found- duh!- that it was locked, and James couldnât use magic-
He slammed against it, trying to get it open, but the door was solid oak, and he was 12.
âUh, um,â He was starting to panic, âThereâs gotta- uh,â
âGet out or Iâm calling the police!â
James focused as much as he could on the door, willing it open, willing it to just explode-
With a loud crack, the hinges fell to pieces.
He rammed into the door again, and this time it fell open, sliding down the stairs.
âRemus!â He shouted, going down the stairs- the door led to a basement- as fast as possible.
âJames! Iâm down here!â
âI know!â He tripped on the door, tumbling onto the unfinished dirt floor. Remus grabbed his arm, and when James looked up, his heart dropped to the center of the earth.
Remus looked frightened, more than a little hungry, and fastened securely around his mouth and nose was a steel muzzle.
He stood quickly, trying to pull Remus to his feet, but his friend stumbled- James looked down to see that Remusâs foot was hurt, would he have to carry him? Could he?
Hopeâs silhouette appeared at the top of the stairs, and James had a horrible vision of being trapped down here forever.
He grabbed Remusâs arm, pulled him to his feet, hurt foot be damned, and started dragging him up the stairs.
âMOVE,â He shouted at Hope, trying to force his magic into his voice- and sent Hope sprawling into the hall.
He ran, half-carrying Remus, through the living room, out the door, down the lawn, to the car, and then flung open the back door, pushing Remus into the car with a thunk before hurriedly climbing in himself, slamming the door behind them.
âDear, is that your friend?â Maisie looked at them through the rearview mirror, clearly concerned.
âGO!â
âWhat, dear?â
âMaisie we gotta go sheâs gonna-â
Maisie turned to look at them-
âMaisie weâve gotta-â
âJames, we canât just-â
âTheyâre gonna hurt us!â
And that was enough for Maisie. She floored it.
They tore out of the lovely little neighborhood, leaving skid marks at corners and blowing past stop signs. James struggled to help Remus into his seatbelt as they were practically thrown around the cabin. Once they were both secured, he helped Remus out of the muzzle.
âRemus, what happened?â James cried out.
A few new scars decorated Remusâs face, claw marks on his cheeks and near his ears.
âThey- they put it on so I canât bite-â
âThe full moon was two weeks ago! Why were you still down there?!â
Remus looked ashamed, turning his gaze away from James and out the window. The landscape went by in a blur.
For the rest of the ride to the Potter mansion, Remus wouldnât answer any questions.
Jamesâs mum and dad were away on a trip, so Maisie set Remus up in the bedroom adjoining Jamesâs and tended to his wounds. When she was done, she left to make the two boys dinner (manifestations of family homes didnât need to eat), and so James and Remus were alone.
James shut the door before crossing over to the intricately carved ebony bed that was now Remusâs. He climbed in, laying next to his friend on top of the velvet bed covers.
Remus looked over at him, green eyes weary and tired, âHow long until the police get here to take you away for kidnapping?â
âTheyâre not coming. The ministry and my family have an agreement, and muggle police canât find the house.â James scooted a bit closer to Remus so that they were sharing a pillow.
A few moments of silence ensued.
âYou⊠wanna talk about what happened?â James asked.
Remus turned his head and stared at the ceiling. His brow furrowed, âWhy do you have a chandelier in your bedroom?â
âYour bedroom.â James corrected.
âWhy is there a chandelier in my bedroom?â
âMaisie thought it looked nice. We can take it down if you want,â he said softly.
Remus shook his head, but said nothing.
â... You wanna talk about what happened?â
Silence.
âMy⊠my dad doesnât like werewolves very much.â Remus said carefully, âAnd my mumâs afraid of them. They donât⊠quite know what to do with me.â
James reached out and gently held Remusâs hand.
Silence.
âYou didnât think through bringing me here, did you,â Remus sounded tired, âItâs not safe.â
âWeâll accommodate,â James said, âDonât worry about it.â
Remus closed his eyes, clearly exhausted, âCan I take a nap?â
âItâs your bedroom,â James said, sitting up to leave him to rest.
âCan you stay?â
James paused, before slowly laying back down, âOf course.â
Laying close enough that James could feel his warmth, Remus quickly fell asleep. James wasnât far after.

The Dhampir, or, A Journey in the Carpathians: Prologue, Part 1
Isadora: Wha--Jacinto. Jacinto, wake up, someoneâs in the house!Â
Jacinto: Oh! Get out, you bastards! Go rob someone else!
Max: Huh? Papa, it's me, put that down!Â
Isadora: Not again.
Jacinto: Maximiliano! What are you doing, scaring your mother and I like this? I could have killed you!
Max: I donât know! I was asleep.
Isadora: Look at you! You're covered in mud! What were you doing?
Jacinto: I don't think that's mud.Â
Isadora: Maximiliano, what did you do? Are you hurt? Let me see!
Max: I'm not hurt! I think. I was in the graveyard...
Jacinto: Por Dios, of course you were! Why is it always the graveyard? Canât you sneak out to a tavern like a normal boy? This comes from your side of the family, Isadora, donât try and say itâs from mine--
Isadora: Not now, Jacinto! Mijito, you need to tell us the truth. Did you get into another fight? Who did this?Â
Max: I donât know! I dreamt I was at Doña Royalesâ window⊠and there was a bat, but it wasnât really a bat, and I was the bat, and it bit herâŠand then I woke up and I was in the graveyard.
Jacinto: Donât tell me you were going around biting old ladies. Jesucristo. Weâre tying you to the bed from now on.
Isadora: Absolutely not! What if there was a fire? Just clean yourself up and go back to bed. Weâll figure this out in the morning. Good night, Maximilliano.
Max: Good night, Mother. Good night, Father.
Isadora: And stay in bed this time! Iâm not pulling you off the roof if you climb up there.
Jacinto: First it was the fights, now itâs running around in the graveyard at three in the morning! What is he going to do next? Weâve got to do something before he climbs in somebodyâs window and they send him to the American prison.
Isadora: Virgen Santissima! Donât even joke about that.
Jacinto: Iâm sorry, mi cielo. Like you said, weâll figure something out. Maybe we should ask Padre Ignacio?
Credits
I wanted to explore this AUâs history, especially for Max. His past is something that really interests me, especially prior to landing in Tartarus and then Edgewater. (Our main character, Iris, will be showing up shortly, in her own flashback. Points if you can figure out the Edwardian Latina music hall sensation sheâs partly named for!)
Isadora was mentioned in TOW canon, of course. Jacintoâs name, appearance, etc. are my own invention. Isadora isnât as snappish as she was in the vision, but this is well before Max got those interesting ideas of his, and she may well pop up in the regular plot and start haranguing him. Iâm not sure yet.
As for why Max is wandering around in the graveyard...we shall see!

Iâm very picky when it comes to black Edwardian dresses or mourning wear, but when a friend of mine listed this for sale, I knew it had to come into my collection! I only saw photos of it laying flat, but in my mind I envisioned it probably looked amazing on a mannequin and boy was I right!
This lavishly beaded and sequined gown dates to ca. 1908-1910. I canât tell if it was worn for mourning or if it was the choice of a fashionable lady who just felt like dazzling everybody in black! Black was popular in the early 1910s even if you werenât mourning a loved one. I guess weâll never know!
It really gives me Kathy Bates in Titanic vibes! đ€

Destiel 5x03/5x04 & 15x18
The fact that in 5x03 Dean uses his "best line" on Cas, asks Cas if he's a virgin, asks Cas if he's been with a woman (sexuality check - trust me I'm part of the rainbow mafia and saw that right away), makes two gay references, fixes Cas's tie and collar, and says "haven't laughed like that in years" and "I am happier with you", and people habe the audacity to say that he is 100% straight Still?! Excuse me but make Dean a lady and we all know they'd be together by the following episode right after Dean seconds Cas calling Raphael his "little bitch"
But this was an aside to the fact the Cas and Dean are both happier with each other. Because destiel is cannon and has been long before the obvious subtext.
As a bisexual with a lowry of baggage somewhat parallelling Dean's, I can say that at times in my life I repressed and ignored the writing on the wall. I think bisexuals are fairly misunderstood. My own sexuality I have recently found out is not understood by my partner of over 11 years. Its incredibly confusing to be attracted to two genders. Overwhelming really when you first come to terms with it. *Cue me giving my clearly not asked for opinion on Dean from Seasons 5-15.*
I suspect Cas is the first person that forces Dean to confront his sexuality. This challenge alone could make Dean clam up as we see. I would wager that either in Purgatory or at the confession Dean has begun to acknowledge there are feelings there. Just as he is confronting and potentially accepting those desires, he loses Cas. Now coping with both the significant and traumatic loss of a loved one but also the revelation of Castiel's truth (and potentially his own) he can offer nothing more than a pleading "please dont do this, Cas."
I've kept up with the Yo, a ti recanonization of Destiel and my little queer heart jumps for joy at it, but that is not the point of what Cas is saying. Cas knows that having Dean alive and thriving is what matters most. Cas is not looking to have reciprocation and tosses Dean out of the way to ensure that he is not a casualty of his confession.
This moment of Cas confessing his love and therefore being at his happiest, is significant because it mirrors a scene from Season 5 - Free to be You and Me. When Dean pronounces that he is happier with Cas than with Sam. Then Cas disappears. This is a long established part of Deans experience with Cas. He makes Dean happiest, and Cas, to save Dean, was the one to reciprocate this moment from 10 seasons earlier. (and if thats not queerbaiting and an extremely slow burn that could beat any Edwardian novel then I dont know what is!)
I wish that they would have had Misha in the Finale. He plays a character loved deeply by fans that left the show with a storyline completely unresolved. I hope one day that thet release the original 15x19 & 15x20 scripts. The idea that Cas would not appear in one of these episodes is honestly very strange.

Time for a wee bit of a gift haul :)
I was SO EXCITED about this! I literally hugged the book when I got it fjfjdbdjdbdvs
This was sort of crazy... Itâs a ca. 1850s ladiesâ chair. My parents put a note in a little box under the tree, telling me to go downstairs. When I did, I was greeted by this! Iâve been wanting an antique chair for quite some time! Now I can sit around in my antique chair in full Edwardian attire while reading my old books :))))))
I also got a dictionary from 1926 and lots of chocolate and tea!
I hope you guys had a lovely day as well!

~~~ooo~~~
Alan McAfee 66&68 Duke street Grosvenor Square London .
Unfortunately there is very little information about Mr Mcafee.As far as I can tell they were making shoes for men and women in the late Victorian era until the 1980s.
They made military and riding boots as well as classic mens shoes.The brand was taken over by Church shoes another high end shoemaker famous for classic men's shoes . Ladies shoes were being made until 1950 as can be seen by the final pair.
