where is your icon from I just noticed it & im fucking crying 😭😭😭😭 the HAIRRRRR
Hi!!
Long hair Jorge is such an important genre of Jorge to me. So, lemme use this as an excuse to spam y'all with wig Jorge propaganda 🫶
This is the original picture I used for my icon. It came from the the talk show that all the riders have been on, 'El Hormiguero'. This ep was on the 15th of December 2010.
Tumblr media
Have I seen the ep? No, so I have no idea what the context was when they gave him the wig. But he's been given a wig for other videos before, too, so. People (me) want him to have long hair, I guess?

Los Jaivas - Alturas De Macchu Picchu. Año 1981. Edición Chilena. Reedición 2014. Rock. Sony Music Entertaiment Chile S.A.
- Gato Alquinta - voz, guitarra, bajo, cuatro, quena, zampoña, ocarina y tarka. - Gabriel Parra - batería, percusión, trutruca, tarka y voz. - Mario Mutis - bajo, guitarra, zampoña, quena, tarka y voz. - Claudio Parra - piano, clavecín, minimoog, marimba y tarka. - Eduardo Parra - piano, minimoog y tarka.
Músicos invitados - Alberto Ledo - zampoña, trompe, bombo, cascabeles, trutruca y voz. - Patricio Castillo - tarka y quena.
Producción - Los Jaivas - productor. - Pablo Neruda - letras.

¿Quizás podrías decir "Los Incas conocen a Mike OLDFIELD"?". Progarchives.
La persistente vida de Los Jaivas.

The future looked bright for Luis Eduardo Perez Parra, Leonel Rivas Gonzalez and Abrahan Josue Barrios last week.
Tumblr media
After being held in immigration custody for over a year and facing the possibility of transfer to Guantánamo Bay, the three men asked a federal court to intervene, warning they might have "disappeared into the legal black hole" of Guantánamo.
Last Sunday, a federal judge in New Mexico handed down a surprise ruling blocking the Trump administration from sending the men to Guantánamo the first successful legal challenge to the policy since it was enacted last month.
But their victory was short-lived.

Wednesday, February 19: Armored Dawn, "Bloodstone"
Power metal has stayed in place for so long that it’s managed the unlikely task of going from fresh and exciting to familiar to refreshing to old hat to calcified to inevitable to institutional.  What that meant for Armored Dawn was that by they time they rolled in with tunes like “Bloodstone” people weren’t disappointed or too bored even though the song did absolutely nothing new.  That said, Eduardo Parras added a bit of a wrinkle with his low key and borderline casual vocals, which brought the otherwise charging track down to earth a bit.  Otherwise, the Brazilian six-piece understood their chosen genre and gave “Bloodstone” the requisite musical drama that fit its blueprint.

“The very next day, the men were placed on the first deportation flight back to Venezuela in over a year.”
