     // @phantomgreyghost  |  Starter Call
     How many times will he find himself drawn to the beach of the Golden Ward? No matter how often he tries to ignore this calling, the Count cannot help but be drawn to the coast and marina on this ward. Today he finds himself exploring the marina once again, though it seems that business is rather slow today. Crimson eyes dart around the various boats that have docked... so small. So many of these are purely intended for leisurely sails across the bay... No mighty fishing vessels to head for the grand sea around them, no merchant ships setting out for trade-- these were impossible, given the abnormal nature of this island and how isolated they were. The only fishing allowed is done a safe distance from the shore, as risk free as possible.
Tumblr media
     Avenger brings his lit cigarette up to his lips, taking a slow breath of smoke once he reached the end of the pier. So much wasted potential... too many restrictions to find much enjoyment. The Edmond Dantès of the past would have wept over such a waste... and admittedly, even the Count of present cannot help but lament as well. Surely he is not the only one who finds the lack of control over the sea to be bothersome...
