Theological Implications of Jesus' Resurrection for Salvation
Jesus’ resurrection is an essential element in soteriology. In fact, every writer of the NT assumes that Jesus was resurrected from the grave and treat it as an event that took place in time and space. Paul wrote that Jesus “was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Cor 15:4), that He was “the first fruits of those who are asleep” (1 Cor 15:20), and that “having been raised from…

On Easter, the biggest Love ever known rewrote the cosmos, balanced the moral scales of the universe, and defeated death. Love reigns supreme! It has freed us and made all things new and possible.

Happy Trans Jesus Day to those who celebrate cracking all sorts of eggs!
Pleasant reminder that the concept of a trans-Jesus is hundreds and hundreds of years old, besides being someone who TRANScends all expectations in a liberative way, besides all the gender fuckery Jesus partook and encouraged by washing the feet of others or looking for the safe house where a man is carrying water, the Stigmata are historically treated as Jesus' divine vagina! Not one he was born with, but one that was given in the transformation of our salvation and proof of resurrection in Jesus' rebirth.
Happy Easter, everyone. 🐇🐣

“The crucified Christ has become a stranger to the civil religion of the First World and to that world's Christianity.” ― Jürgen Moltmann, The Way of Jesus Christ

favourite bible story??
This is such a hard question because I believe the significance of bible stories depends on the particular circumstance it's addressing because the stories are designed to reflect a certain message. Which, there are a lot of themes that the Bible tries to communicate.
BUT! There's an excerpt that I've read in the bible recently and it really stands out to me. It's like 5 verses only but a surprisingly concise summary of Jesus' whole ministry imo– sometimes I randomly think about the line "I want mercy and not sacrifice." Like, damn.

Today, a sacred sex worker or a devout penitent or a woman who was perhaps both bears witness to the Divine made flesh. A God pierced and penetrated, a God who delights in being devoured, a God who dissolves the boundaries between clean and unclean via carnality, via incarnation.
Today we affirm that bodies are good, that the earth is worth saving, that sweat and blood and tears and semen can be holy offerings. Today we honor a God who chose to experience humanness, even unto death.
Today we celebrate not just life eternal, but life embodied now.

A reminder that advocating for Palestinian liberation isn’t antisemitic.
It is the most Jewish thing possible.

Jesus (the King of kings, the Lord of lords, Creator of the heaven and the earth) will always stand with the oppressed, never with the oppressors.
with Jesus’ death & resurrection, there are no more labels, Jews/Gentiles (Gal 3); all of life belongs to God 🙏♥️

Dirges of the Damned
VIII
The idea that the Devil Is a branch of God Oddly confuses the Christian Despite the lesson of the Fall As God's test of whether or not We do that which we know better to
The idea that God Is a branch of the Self Oddly blasphemes the Christian Despite their selfish claim to God Despite the lesson Jesus left, saying "I" am the Way, the Truth, the Life
If the former idea perplexes Remember the Original Sin Of knowing Good & Evil Naturally proceeds from God's Original Commandment to Adam To name all of His Creation
If the latter idea vexes Remember that to know & appellate Is to conquer & subjugate—and Despite all Christ's imperial aims Still, God is not Its name—unknown Even to Him, how It makes Itself grow
