Did he watch the same show I did? The same guy who thought casting white actors to play the main heroes was okay or that making the firebenders not make their own fire was fine? OR turning the Earthbending Prison into a ROCK QUARRY was a "great change"? XD
Don't get me wrong NATLA isn't as great as the OG ATLA but it's nowhere near as bad as Netflix's Cowboy Bebop or that poor excuse of a Death Note movie. That's just my opinion from someone who grew up with the ATLA and watched it since literally day 1. And if you don't like the new take and did grow up with ATLA too that's perfectly fine. I just wish people would stop bashing it and spread so much hate when there are far WORSE things out there. I still shudder in sympathy for all of the fans of DB after DB: Evolution came out. DX
In short, I'd rather have a flawed but good adaptation that tries to be a little different in a unique way than a boring movie without any charm or humor that completely missed the mark of what made the original so beloved in the first place.
Also, the flashback scene between Zuko and Iroh in episode 4 had me sobbing. You can't tell me the writers and actors aren't being faithful to the spirit of the show after watching that.

I'm honestly convinced that the people who are praising NASB2 as an "improvement" of the first game don't actually care about these characters and the shows they represent. and quite frankly, the developers don't seem to either. how are you gonna cut an Earthbender and then add THREE Firebenders in her place? how are you gonna add Rocksteady as DLC and not have Bebop tag along with him?
also they straight up REMOVE gameplay mechanics from the first game that made it feel different from Super Smash Bros. and I'm supposed to believe that's an "improvement?" strafing was one of my favorite aspects of NASB1 and they took that away from me, right along with universal air grabbing. the grabs and throws are literally just Smash grabs and throws again.
I thought having every platform fighting game be literally just Smash was what we DIDN'T want.
I saw an article saying people are praising it as a "true Smash rival" and like. I don't want a "true Smash rival." I want a Nickelodeon fighting game. And the devs obviously care more about making a Smash rival than a Nickelodeon fighting game, otherwise they would have put more thought into some of the choices they made with the roster.
the cuts aren't like Smash cuts where they ultimately don't harm the overall roster that much. Wolf is cool but Smash 4 was fine without him since it added Bowser Jr., Mega Man, Ryu, Villager, Cloud, Pac-Man, and even the Duck Hunt dog, on top of bringing back Dr. Mario and Mewtwo. NASB2, on the other hand, cuts the main protagonist of one of Nickelodeon's biggest franchises right now... and then has the audacity to make his model a cameo in the background of a stage.
NASB2 infuriates me on so many levels. it's basically a textbook definition of how NOT to make a fighting game sequel. redoing everything from the ground up was NOT a good move to make considering GameMill was gonna rush it out a year and a half after development for the first one ended anyway.
"we did it, Patrick! we saved NASB!"

The Bebop Characters as Benders
Because my two main interests of the moment are ATLA and Bebop (I guess these would be headcannons?):
I feel like Spike Spiegel would Definitely be a firebender. Can’t say why specifically, just vibes.
Jet is an Earthbender for sure, he’s the base of the crew, incredibly stubborn, and grounded in reality.
I think Faye would probably be a waterbender. Water is the “element of change”, and Faye tends to move around a lot, and if you notice, she doesn’t really fight anyone head on the way Spike does, she tends to be more evasive. Makes me think of how waterbenders tend to use their opponent’s energy against them rather than striking directly.
Ed I think would be an airbender. None of them are spiritual, but I think Edward is the most “at peace” with who she is. She’s struggling to find her place in the world, whether its on the Bebop or with her father, but she’s not really having a personal crisis the way the other three are. Also the way she moves reminds me of the whole thing of airbenders being light on their feet, and she certainly “has her head in the clouds” more than any of the other Bebop members.
Might fuck around and make art out of this, who knows

Chapter 8 “Old Hob” and the debut appearances of Bebop and Rocksteady! Hope you enjoy! Please let me know what you think of it!
“Hob,” Raph said, closing the temple door behind him, “So, I’m guessing you’ve been in Republic City awhile to have found me so fast.”
“Yeah, had a bit of business to attend to the past few months,” Hob said, taking slow steps forward while making the lightbulbs all burst as he overloaded them.
Did he really think Raph was going to fall for that trick? Just because he could use it to intimidate just about everyone else he crossed paths with doesn’t mean Raph couldn’t see right through him.
“Imagine my surprise when I turn on the TV and see your face plastered all over the screen at a Pro-Bending tournament. Wasn’t hard after that to pick up a lead as to where you been hiding out at. Though I gotta admit, didn’t think I’d find you living with the Avatar.”
“Uh-huh.” *sigh* “You know how this is going to end, right? It’s going to end with me kicking your butt and you walking out of here with your tail between your legs.”
“Well aren’t we all smug and confident now? Guess you take more after your old man than just your temper and Bending skills.”
Raph’s temper finally got the better of him. He lashed out at Hob with a stream of blue flames. The alley cat dodged the attack and retaliated with a burst of lightning aimed at Raph. Luckily, he was able to divert most of the energy away, but Hob always was the better Lightning Bender, and so he did take at least some of the electricity on. Raph charged at him, trying to hit him with more of his blue flames to no avail. Hob may be an old cat but that didn’t make him any less agile. As soon as Raph got close he was just about to use his technique to take away the cat’s Bending when suddenly, a wave of rock and rubble came at him, knocking him away from Hob.
“You didn’t think I’d come alone, did ya?” Hob asked as his two associates stepped out of the shadows.
“Bebop. Rocksteady. Good to see you guys again. Haven’t seen you guys since Ba Sing Se. Have you lost weight? Get your tusks whitened?”
“Flattery. Cute. Ain’t it cute, Rocksteady?”
“You know it, Bebop. But cute ain’t gonna save his sorry shell after what he pulled last time we saw him.”
“You mean when I torched the abandoned building to the ground, burying you in a pile of rubble, so I could escape without getting flattened like a pancake? What? Come on guys that was just a… a harmless prank. Come on, I knew you could take it,” Raph said, backing up against the wall as the rhino and wart hog approached him.
“Yeah, sure you did. Let’s get him!” Rocksteady yelled as he and Bebop charged at Raph.
Luckily his family showed up at just the right time and he found himself getting blasted into the air and out of danger by Mikey, before landing safely near the door with the others.
“What are you guys doing here?!”
“Uh, we live here?” Leo replied.
“So, who are your friends?” Donnie asked as he started Bending pieces of metal in preparation to fight.
“They ain’t friends and you all need to leave. Like right now.”
“I’d listen to him if I were you. Raphie might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but he does know when to run like a coward when he knows there ain’t no winning to be had,” Hob remarked.
“Coward?!”
“Yeah, just a little scaredy turtle. Ya ran from Ba Sing Se and no doubt you’ll be running from this city too,” Bebop replied as he covered his fists in rocks.
“Yeah, just like you always run. Even when you were just a newbie mutant you just ran and ran, trying to get away from the big, bad-” Rocksteady added before being blasted at with a large wave of blue flame by Raph that knocked him away; luckily his hide was thick enough to not be too badly burned.
Bebop then charged at him. Donnie attempted to knock him away by throwing a large piece of the concrete floor at him, but Bebop just ran right through it.
“Move!” Raph insisted as his family dodged the charging wart hog.
Rocksteady then got back on his feet and stomped his foot to send a shockwave through the floor toward Leo and Mikey. Mikey used his Airbending to dodge the attack, but Leo got hit and was sent flying into a column, hard, and Mikey took to trying to help him out and get him back on his feet. Splinter took to using his own Earthbending skills to counter both Bebop and Rocksteady’s attacks alongside Donatello who was struggling to avoid the charging rhino’s horn. Meanwhile, Raph took it upon himself to face Hob solo. He might not be as good at Bending lightning as Hob was but that didn’t mean he couldn’t handle that wretched cat, especially if he got close enough to hit his pressure points. That might not be as good as severing one’s chi, but chi-blocking does do good enough to immobilize someone, especially if you’re trying not to get outed to the only family you ever really had.
“Why don’t you just give it up, Raphie? You might be good at Bending fire but you ain’t got nothin’ on me when it comes to lightning,” Hob said as he shot out electricity at the turtle as he got closer.
“How long have we known each other, Hob? Ten years and you still don’t know that I ain’t the giving up type?” Raph replied as he got up close and personal to the cat, being careful to avoid his electrically charged claws as he tried to get a hit in.
That’s when Mikey noticed Hob’s tail was charging up and about to reach out and zap Raph. Mikey wasn’t going to let that no good cat hurt his brother!
“Raph!” Mikey shouted as he pushed Raph out of the way just in time to save him… though not himself.
“MIKEY!” Raph screamed as he saw the large volts of electricity pass through the younger turtle he had come to know as his brother.
This gained the attention of the others, including Leo, who was finally awake. Splinter was enraged at the sight of his youngest son injured and quickly ended the battle with Rocksteady and Bebop by entering the Avatar State to defeat them.
“I… I don’t sense a heartbeat,” Donnie mentioned, eyes full of fear as he used his seismic sense to try and tell if Mikey was still alive.
Raph lost his cool again. This time he didn’t care if he exposed himself to his family. Hob was going to PAY!
Raph rushed at Hob and began to channel his chi, making the cat’s veins glow at the various, swift motions he performed before finally striking him hard in the chest, knocking him to the ground as the light of his Bending went out like a blown-out match.
“What? Did you just- no. No. NO!” Hob roared before being struck down by a blast of lightning from Raph himself, knocking him into the far-off wall.
The blast might not have killed him, but just because he deserved it doesn’t mean Raph was ever going to resort to tactics like that, tactics like the ones his- the ones he used all the time. No. Raph was better than him, better than Hob. He wasn’t like them. Not at all.
“I can’t believe it. Mikey’s really-” Leo said, trying not to burst out into tears, praying that they were wrong.
Then Raph knelt beside Mikey’s body and took a deep breath. His hands lit with electrical energy and he breathed into them with a white flame, leaving his hands with a bright, white glow. He pressed his fingers into various pressure points on Mikey’s body causing them to become lit with the same light and spread out through his nerves. After pressing the last pressure point, Raphael raised his hands and brought them both down over Mikey’s heart with a burst of lightning emanating as he did. Mikey bolted upright with a gasp.
“He’s alive? He’s alive! Mikey!” Donnie exclaimed as he ran over to Mikey with Leo to join the hug that was going on.
“Uh… did I… die?”
“It’s okay, little brother. You’re okay now. Everything’s going to be okay,” Raph answered as he held Mikey tight, tears streaming down his face.
He almost lost his brother tonight, and it was all his fault. His eyes raised to meet Splinter’s as the rat knelt to join the group hug. Though Splinter’s eyes may have been soft, full of relief, and a silent promise to forgive whatever he may have done as the Nightwatcher, Raph couldn’t help the knot that formed in his stomach. He didn’t deserve forgiveness. He didn’t even deserve this family.
“I’m really going to miss you guys,” he said before pulling away from the hug.
“Raph?” Mikey asked.
“Wait, where are you going?” Leo added.
“Raphael, stop!” Splinter insisted as his son ignored him and sent out a circle of immense, white flames and Bent a column of lightning around himself
“I’m sorry,” he said with a remorseful look on his face as he drew the white fire back in on himself with a loud crack and blinding light as he disappeared without a trace.
He was sorry for leaving them behind, but he had some work to do.

The Mosley Review: Avatar: The Last Airbender Book Three: Fire (Season 3)
I am stuck in a state of mixed feelings. I am almost speechless about the fact that this series consistently has been amazing from beginning to end. I also sad that it is over. I have seen many series end and they have left me with a satisfying smile on my face and others have enraged me. This show is obviously the former and it was the most complete adventure I think I've seen in animation to date. The fully fleshed out, vibrant and amazing world was absolutely perfect and infinitely explorable. There are only 2 other anime series that I can think of that match the same amount of emotional depth and expert storytelling. Cowboy Bebop is my favorite anime of all time and Dragon Ball Z is definitely on that list, but this show has now over taken DBZ as my second favorite anime. This season goes the extra mile in delivering the best parts of what makes this show special. Not only do the spirituality, comedy and charm return, but its dramatic tone and mythos is greatly expanded upon. The adventure comes to an epic conclusion that is both harrowing and above all, earned.
The main cast returns one last time and they deliver their best performances across the board. Mae Whitman again was outstanding as Katara and we see her go on an emotional and challenging experience. We finally get to the person responsible for the disappearance of her and Sokka’s mother. Its a darker moment for Katara and a chance for her to practice what she preaches. Jack DeSena was great again as Sokka and he takes him on a new leadership role as the battles become more intense. Jack's comedic timing is still ever present and fun, but it was great to see him be a little more serious. Jessie Flower returns as Toph and she is even more powerful and inventive with her Earthbending and blind jokes. Zach Tyler Eisen was again amazing as Aang. Aang is left with a decision that could mean life or death for a certain character and Zach brings to life that inner turmoil. The soul of Aang is put to the test and it was great to see his journey come to an end. Dante Basco once again amazes as Zuko and he had the biggest arc among the team. His journey from the Book 1 comes full circle as he finally gets what he wants, but realizes his true destiny. Dante has always been a great actor, but this is definitely his best character. Cricket Leigh and Olivia Hack returns as Mai and Ty Lee and they both get their moments to shine. Greg Baldwin humbly replaces the great Mako as the voice of Zuko's uncle Iroh and I almost couldn't tell the difference. He studied what Mako had created and carried on his wisdom and acting skill with grace. Iroh gets to fully show off his power and it was amazing to witness.
The series main antagonists are at the forefront and they are truly unrelenting. Grey DeLisle returns as Azula and she is beyond unhinged this time around. Grey delivers an outstanding and sinister performance that shows how much of a soulless monster Azula is. The final fight between Azula and her brother Zuko is one of the most beautiful and intense fights I've ever seen. Mark Hamill has been the voice of Firelord Ozai since Book 1 and now he gets his time in the sun. Mark Hamill is no stranger to voicing a villain and he delivers a sadistic performance. When Ozai and Aang finally battle, it is exactly the amount of earth shattering excellence I expected.
Visually, this season has the best the series has to offer. I've seen and felt the influence of Shinichiro Watanabe's anime style throughout the series, but here it is the most prevalent and its great. The score by composers Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn, also known as The Track Team, was the best this season. Not only was the Azula vs Zuko fight gorgeous, but the score of that scene was absolute perfection. That wonderful piece of music was so haunting and as powerful as the visuals that accompany it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, series creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko have truly created a masterpiece of art. Very few have successfully mixed great storytelling with amazing animation and elevated the medium. This is one of the best animated series I have ever seen in my life and I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to go on this emotional and fulfilling journey. Get on Netflix and watch this show. NOW!

Unique, authentic; they’re everything xD One waterbends and the other one earthbends. Consider their story exactly in this AU exactly the same as in the tmnt 2012 universe: They were working for the Fire Lord but 2 years later they did a truce with the turtles and now they’re seeing the world. The last time they were seen was in the Northern Water Tribe.
If you’re going to share this fanart, I kindly ask to not modify or add new content to it, and please, always credit back to Redworld96′s blog. Please respect my decision, thank you.

Avatar: The Last Airbender at Masculinity
Hindi ito gaanong dapat aggression ngunit bilang “ability to fight back”.
Tulad ng sinabi ni Sifu Kisu, master sa martial arts ng Avatar, sa Avatar: Creating the legend special, “It’s a very strong dynamic style that uses powerful hand and leg movements. This style of kung fu generally emphasizes long-range techniques, wide stances, quick advances and retreats, kicking and leaping, whirling, circling blocks quickly, and aggressive attacks.”
Katara: Aren't you gonna fight!?
Pakku: Go back to the healing huts with the other women where you belong.
Sokka: “I knew I should've left you home! Leave it to a girl to screw things up!”
Katara: “You are the most sexist, immature, nut-brained—! I'm embarrassed to be related to you!”
Tunay na siya ang "Greatest Earthbender in the whole world"
Iroh
Conclusion

In Cowboy Bebop, Spike is either an air or waterbender. In episode 24, he battles AppleDellhi, who is without doubt a earthbender.
