in my mind, she is mysterio- or at least, proto-mysterio? the precursor of mysterio? whatever. the point is she can control others, and MAYBE— get this— MAYBE she can control reality to some extent, if she values authenticity over special effects

"but agni that's... a very anti-climactic claim" I KNOW but i'm making her a magical girl. that makes it a very climactic claim!!!! have her be very attuned to maya (lit. "illusion", very potent magic wielded by gods, monsters, etc) and have her be obsessed with wanting to. control reality, i suppose

when i mean "control reality" i actually just mean "she can control what you experience". she controls YOUR reality, not the physical reality. she needs to bring her vision to life, and even if it is a little fake on a quasi-mystical/technical level, the fact you responded to it is all she's looking for. kinda freaky but hey, she's now my wife, let her be a little freaky

i WOULD add something about her backstory and while i do have an inkling of an idea it is far too late (3pm) for me to write about it in full. so. another day!!!

oh but i KNOW her name should be keerthi bhatt. do i know why i picked that name, other than the fact "quentin" has a 'k-' sound and "beck" has a 'b-' sound? no idea. something something extravagance and she's destined for producing great things.

(i came very close to naming her keerthi bachchan but then remembered amitabh bachchan is literally on tumblr. if you TAG him i will HUNT YOU DOWN and i will NEVER draw pavitr again)

I dissociated so bad this year due to personal reasons. But I’ve come to understand that although it was good for me at the beginning that is no longer the case. I neglected my hobbies and people who I knew here, loosing my blog didn’t help either. The bonds I had with some of you here are frail, but I want you to know that I still care about you all very much and if allowed I would want to rebuilt them.

I’m planning on coming back in here slowly, get the hang of things again. Tbh it’s been lonely and I have just been grasping at the memories of who I was 2 years ago, my silly little brain going on survival mode it’s costing me the things that make me happy. You make me happy !!

okay as it stands right now i think my favs in blue lock are bachira, nagi, and rin. both sae and oliver have only had like 20 seconds of screen time atp so i cannot form a legit opinion on them just yet.

He still drives me crazy, even after all this time. I rarely post my sketches of young doctor Nefario these days, but I honestly still am fixated as hell. The main person to “blame” for this is definitely @annchanorsomethin, she writes an absolutely amazing fic called “DM4 fan concept”, it involves time travelling stuff and I highly recommend to check it out.

The outfit he’s wearing on this sketch was designed by me while constantly consulting with Ann and it had like 3 or 4 major redesigns in the course of 8 months before we came to this variant. If there is still anyone interested in him, I can make a whole post about this outfit because this is just a part of it. Guys you should know how much I miss our little simp club… I wish one day we all came together again. And by now… we’re just holding on and hoping for the best.

Dick blinked, waiting for Donna to crack and smile before telling him what really happened. But his friend looked far from amused.

“Dammit, you’re positive I’m needed?”

This was not how his evening was supposed to start. There were things to take care of and set up before staking out a new and dangerous smuggling ring all night. Bad enough Nightwing was playing catch up after nearly a year of being absent from Blüdhaven’s streets at the same time Dick Grayson was trying to re-establish himself. Getting shot in the head tended to cause problems like that.

Which is precisely why Justice League problems were not his concern. “Can't you make do with Bats?” complained Dick, “Or Robin? Literally anyone other than me?”

“Oh, you’re right!” Donna snapped her fingers in his comm, no doubt rolling her eyes, “I meant to call Plastic Man, silly me.”

Tires squealed as Dick cut a sharp U-turn and earned a few annoyed honks. Two alleys back was a hidden garage for his bike. “Anyone dying?”

“Not yet.”

“That’s reassuring. And kinda boring.” He hopped off the Wing-cycle and rolled it into a narrow metal slot that opened in the brick wall. A button on his gauntlet made the false wall slide shut. “What’s my jump code?”

“Check your secure messages.”

A quick tap on the side of his domino mask brought up the HUD. “Whoa, this is a Hall of Justice code. I thought Watchtower–”

“Stop thinking and hurry!”

Donna was waiting in the lobby where he teleported in, tapping her foot impatiently as he took a settling breath. It’d been a while since he traveled via zeta tube. “Come on.” She said, turning on her heel.

Dick jogged to catch up with her quick pace. “What’s happened? Because something’s happened. Is someone actually dying?”

Reluctantly, Donna ground to a halt. “Batman didn’t want to tell you before you arrived and at first I agreed–”

“Tell the FAA to watch out for flying pigs–ow!”

She punched his shoulder again. “Get your jokes out now because I changed my mind and you need to be prepared. You know the inter-dimensional readings they’ve been monitoring here? They flared into a warp hole thirty minutes ago and tossed out a kid.”

“They must be since I’m being summoned!” Was he freaking out? Dick didn’t think he was freaking out. Stuff like this didn't trip him up. Plus he liked kids, got along with them. But his own inter-dimensional kid was something else entirely.

“Honey, he’s scared,” She grabbed his hand imploringly, “He’s not your kid and you’re not his dad but you might be the only person he recognizes.”
