Okay listen I lvoe the pjo books and series with all ym heart but.. everyone talks about them like they're perfect WHICH THEYRE NOT any problems are kinda brushed under the rug and I find thst kinda werid? The weird relationshipd ynamics. Rick is like allergic to someone bring okay with being single or jsut aromantic like you can say Reyna but her having a crush kn Jason?? Yes she rejected Apollo but her relationship with Jason deterioted brcuz she had a 'crush' on the guy and that doesn't really amke sense to me (I can go into so much detail kn this)

AND LEO AND CALYPSO OMFG that is a toxic relationship. The age gap. The way calypso treats Leo. The fact Leo SHOULD NOT be with someone like this man hasn't dealt with his attachment and Abandonment issues like st all?!

The literal only black character in the pjo books being beckendorf.. then he dies. Then the Korean/Asian (I'm not sure sorry) character dies, Ethan. And like I understand Percy is hinted st being Hispanic (have seen many ppl talk about this dont mnow if it's common knowldhe) but it's never confirmed or added??? LIKE he it pissed me off that Annabeth was swept to rhe side as Percy's lvoe interest giving her knly enough personality and stary to make her jnteredting enough to eb loved but never delving jntk it into Mark kf Athena and even at Mark of Athena it all rounded back tk her and Percy's relationship LIKE JESUS CHRIST DO THESE MFERS PASS THE BELLDAN TEST?!

Hey I wanted to say I actually really appreciate you commenting on this! Now that I think about it the point about Kanon and her last name makes a lot more sense and I feel like a bit of an idiot for not thinking about the fact that she’s probably the only female child on her side

And everything about Leon’s mom is also really interesting to think about - I haven’t read the entirety of either of their wikis, but the point about how Kanon says that Leon and his dad are visiting actually does put a bit more stuff into perspective. I didn’t know about that but I’m glad I do now! And yeah it does explain a bit more about the fact that he has a western name and whatnot. Really interesting to think about!!

I know it’s mainly because of the art style of Danganronpa but one thing that has always annoyed me a little is how siblings/cousins either look nothing alike or are a carbon clone of each other. Honestly this was kind of a silly thing for me to play with genetics and whatnot but I really appreciate your input!! I’m adapting all of this into my canon (or Kanon please laugh I am hilarious)

Sorry i gotta yap for a second. Why do Leon and Kanon have different last names if their dads are brothers.

Like it says in their wikis that Leon’s dad is Kanon’s dad’s older brother. So like. Why do they have different last names? The only explanations i can think of is that, either they had different last names at birth, either Leon or Kanon has their mom’s last name, or one of them has two dads (though i think this is the least likely since their parents were probably married in the late 80s or early 90s, and same sex marriage wasn’t legal back then like. Anywhere.)

This is my personal headcanon: their dads have the same last name, but Kanon has her mom’s last name, since she didn’t take her husband’s last name; Leon’s mom took her husband’s last name, which basically means Leon has no other option for a last name lmao

What’s Leon’s natural hair colour? Because it is said that he dyes it (side note why would you willingly dye your hair ginger-)

Here’s what I think: Leon is a natural blonde (womp womp) and I think this for a couple reasons. First off his beta design is blonde which I feel like would be a coolio reference. BUT SECOND. GET READY CAUSE IM GOING FULL ON BIO TEACHER ON YOU.

Kanon, while her wiki page says she has chestnut brown hair (bullshit look at her) probably has blonde hair. It looks like a really really pale blonde. Which means that her parents at least need to have one dominant gene and one recessive gene each (since blonde hair is a recessive trait) if we assume Kanon’s dad is blonde, which makes him recessive/recessive, that means that it’s probably likely that his parents (L and K’s paternal grandparents) at least have one blonde person, since getting recessive/recessive out of two dominant/recessive is pretty unlikely. This means that it’s very much possible for Leon’s dad to also have that recessive/recessive or dominant/recessive gene for hair. If we assume that Leon’s mom has at least one recessive allele, that means Leon could very well be blonde. Additionally it’s implied he does have decent genetics in terms of hair because yada yada constantly grows out - if he’s bleaching AND dyeing that shit there’s no way is it still fluffy and nice and grows out well and fast.

"Alright, chucklefuck; What's your name, how many crimes have you committed, and what's your motive?"

Said all-of-the-above slowly lifts his hands up with that godawful obnoxious smirk, showing signs of incriminating nervousness and chuckling – "Okay, rude." – as he takes a little too long for her liking to answer, prodding her to gesture for him to get on with it with the taser's test crackle. "Okay, like I said: Name's Soul Eater –"

"Bullshit."

"– Well you can check my birth certificate, if it still exists," he retorts dryly. "To get to the important bits of your interrogation though, crimes: Matter of perspective, haven't killed anyone. And motive: You really looked like you needed help –"

"I had it covered!" she squawks.

"– If you'd let me finish, it's also because they were in my way. For crime reasons."

Maka throws her arms down with an exasperated huff above her pay grade, giving Soul Eater a chance to lower his arms back down and pocket them – She's still got a wary eye on him, but (unfortunately) he appears to be genuine for at least the last answer. For now. "Death, you're probably a weapon, aren't you. Everywhere I go it's always one of you who manages to flip my life upside-down all over again – And you better not say you're a scythe-"

Almost immediately she peeks out from under the glove-buried exhaustion at the rather pronounced laugh he bursts into briefly, a glare cast directly on his soul and his lineage when he just steadily grins at her with his incriminatingly sharp teeth before he then dares to speak.

"Aight then, I won't say it."

"Eugghhhhhh-" She's already had it up to miles with him and his stupid face and his everything else as she stomps away. "I can't believe this; I'm done with you, I'm done with this stupid city, I am DONE with every last one of you and whatever cosmic force you're all working with to screw me over specifically!"

And she's done with that stupid little chuckle he does, especially while he lifts his hand up to his mouth as if speaking aside to someone that clearly isn't even actually there. "Oh boy, smells like we might have an 'enemies to lovers' brewing, folks."

"Who are you even talking to?!"

"I thought you said you were done with me."

It is at this very moment Maka is practically ripping her hair out due to just how completely and utterly insufferable this Soul guy is, and she must have projected her deep, visceral desire to never be in the same room as him again so clearly that he's already unlocked the door, opening it with a welcoming gesture – "After you" – and then stepping aside to bow slightly towards the door – "Thank you."

"Wait, when did-"

"Well I'll be taking my leave, it's been fun for our first and obviously last meeting, so, uh…" She stares at him like he- well like he's got the mouth of a shark until she (somehow) has the inkling to tell him her name. "Maka. Yeah, that rolls well off the tongue – Well Maka, to answer your final question as to 'Why am I like this': Because when the world is just so nutty, all you can really do is laugh."

And she just stares at him grinning, the realization finally sinking in. He's an insane scythe.

It's already allergy seasons here and the afternoon dose of my medication wears off so early that I am a zombie at 10:30, which is a problem when I usually write late at night and post new chapters at 2am. Confound you, Outside, what is this nonsense on your part? You were supposed to give me at least until the end of the month!
