"you? don't buy it for a second. it always felt like you knew the right thing to say… even when i don't always want to hear it." mark smiled, almost sadly. the truth was that he hadn't particularly known what to say at first either. perhaps, there was too much to say and that was the problem. feelings didn't just disappear, not even if it would have been really convenient to do so. of course, there was still a lot he felt for the man in front of him. he just didn't know whether the other would even want to hear it and like hell was he fully putting himself out there first. it would make sense for edgar not to want to ever look at him like that again. deep down he just hoped that wasn't the case. "but you're alright?" hoping he was. "wait. kid? what do you mean kid?" hands clenched into fists, knowing exactly where his thoughts had just taken him. he had the kid, literally had him in his grasp and it would have been too easy to kill him there and then. he'd let him go because… fucks sake. was puttign on lipstick and i noticed a small mole near my bottom lip. I remember ppl saying that these little moles are places our lovers used to kiss the most in our past life, and it got me thinking.

I have moles near my belly button, below my bottom lip, on my left hand (knuckles), on my shoulders and forearms, right next to my right eyebrow and many more lmao

It is unclear if that is due to the distance of the camera or some other factor. His phone sits in the center of the alley. He appears to have fully given up on trying to reach it.]

Hanako: [Somewhat distant.] EDGAR? EDGAR?

[Edgar looks up, eyes flitting open, he appears to open his mouth to say something, but as soon as he tries to start talking, he starts coughing violently.]

H: [Still distant.] EDGAR!?

[He attempts to catch his breath after the coughing fit, and then tries to speak again.]

Edgar: [Quietly, it sounds somewhat painful.] Hana…?

[Just then, a person with medium brown hair runs in wearing rose pajamas. Staring at Edgar.] 

H: EDGA- Oh… Oh, god.

[All the other can manage is a small smile, his teeth are stained red with blood, the same for around his mouth, a few small trails of the red liquid seemingly made their way down his chin.]

[Hanako bends down, looking at Edgar.] 

H: Fucking hell…

[He blinks, and then nods. His head droops, holding it up seemingly taking too much energy.]

H: I…

E: [Softly.] Hhhi.

[He attempts to lift his head again, his eyes unfocused and dazed.]

H: Hi…

[Hanako examines Edgar, seemingly looking for all the injuries.]

E: I’m s– [He is interrupted by another cough.] –ssorry.

H: Don't. Don't fucking apologize. You did nothing.

[Edgar pauses for a few seconds.]

E: … Hurts.

H: I… Hm… I can't do much from here…

[Edgar nods, slowly trying to shift his sitting position. He winces as he moves his right leg.]

H: No. Don't stand, I'll carry you… First I uh… Need to uncuff you huh?

E: Please. Too tight.

[Hanako bends further forward and pulls a pin out of her hair, the sounds of the cuffs being lockpicked are heard.]

H: Just give me a moment here…

[A click is heard, Hanako waits a few seconds before sighing.]

H: Fucking zipties too?

E: Y– yeahhh.

H: I'm going to beat the fuck out of all of those fucks I swear.

E: Wa– wait. No, don’t. You’ll– [coughing.]

H: I'll what? Be killed? I welcome those little fucks to try. They hurt you dude. Force fed you a rat. You think I'm going to let that slide?

[Edgar stares at Hanako, eyes full of exhaustion and worry.]

H: Don't worry about me ight? I'll be fine.

E: I thought t– the same. Now lo– look at me.

H: Edgar. Dude. Worry about yourself right now.

E: … f– f– fine.

H: Thank you. 

[Hanako grabs a knife from her pocket before using it to cut the zip ties.]

E: Thanks.

H: Now. Can I carry you?

[He nods, accidentally resting his hand on one of his wounds. He takes a sharp breath in.]

H: Don't do that… Ok?

E: Mhm.

[Hanako grabs Edgar, carrying the injured man as carefully as she can, supporting his shoulders. Making sure to grab his phone as well.]

H: You ok?

E: Sssick. I– I feel sick.

H: I… Yeah that makes sense.

E: … I n– never want to see th– this alley again.

H: That’s fine… That's fine.

E: Let’s j– just go.

[Hanako begins walking out of frame, still carrying Edgar.]

Kinda wanted to write one of my Onepiece timetravel Fic Idea!

Now this is a Mass Timetravel, taking place two years before Luffy sets sail. I wanted it to be earlier but that would f- up the Timeline. Awakening up on Dawn Island after the War, Luffy panics letting out his conquers Haki and screaming blind rage. Garp is the only other person who's still conscious on the entire island. Running towards the Burst garp studders seeing his Grandson enraged screaming and clawing at his chest. Quickly knocking him out and checking him over a grim look overtakes him as he questions what happened to awaken his Conquers like this.
