On February 9 at 7:30pm PST, Dynasty Typewriter is hosting a live and livestreamed reading of the script from The Muppet Movie to support those affected by the California wildfires.

Among the actors and comedians who will be reading for the beloved Muppet characters is David Dastmalchian, who plays Gurathin in the upcoming Murderbot TV show, as well as Sam Reich and a lot of other names you may recognize if you're a fan of Dropout TV (the streaming service that hosts Game Changer and other improv comedy game shows).

So if you want to contribute to a good cause and watch a Muppet classic performed by a group of talented entertainers, you can check out the event info and purchase livestream tickets through the link below (you'll need to scroll down the schedule a little). Livestream tickets cost $15 plus a $4.06 fee for a total of $19.06. The event info includes further details on the nonprofit which the contributions will go to and how they'll be using the funds to help those affected by the wildfires.

Gonzo has always been me. Before I had the words for "non-binary," I was always in the "whatever" category (as labeled in The Great Muppet Caper). Being loved and celebrated for being a "weirdo" was always the dream.

Where David (who did an absolutely perfect Gonzo) lost it, I lost it, too. Gonzo, that song, those were some of the only things that felt like home for most of my young life. I'm struggling to find the words or any through thought - I mostly just wanted others to see even a portion of this amazing performance and to say thank you to Jim Hensen and the Muppets for being a safe place for a queer little exangelical kid in Montana. You saved my life.

I feel like it would be wrong to screen shot Roll for Democracy since it's a campaign fundraiser (if you are in Jillian Burgos's district of Los Angeles you should VOTE FOR HER OMG) but I just cackled at Aabria.

Her character wants a terrible kobold clown to cut his terrible performance short, so she throws a gem at him by way of a donation. "I want him to have any other career, and I need this to stop.

The kobold, of course, is an NPC played by Brennan, who is DM-ing.

Her character is named Hausen Furall. It's her first ever game, it's a live actual-play on stage, and she gets it. She gets her audience and how to communicate with them, and she gets what matters.
