I don't get people who hate Dusky. Bro's the equivalent of an 8 year old who's been horribly traumatized. He was honestly one of the highlights of book 15 for me, if he wasn't there I think I'd lean quite a bit more into the hate people have for it. But because of him I personally think the book was alright for what it was, definitely not the greatest, but I can appreciate it for some things.
Anyway, I'm the one and only certified Dusky fan :)
