I know it's fake but I admit I like the fabric and the jewels on the dress. There aren't many portraits of Anne Boleyn, we don't even know which ones are from her time as queen or if it's really her. So I like to think of this one as a could-be. Someone adapt it to real life but with the hanging sleeves and a French hood!

One would think that one would eventually get over the distress and upset of getting a piece of clothing that says it's your size and looks amazing on the rack/the mannequin only to try it on and realize that your body makes it ugly, but one would be wrong.

I hadn't realized they had reused the same costume. Although Six Wives with Lucy Worsley improved the pink, by adding a properly made French hood in the same shade, instead of a headband with a veil glued on with hot glue. Also the black fur and jewels. Shame the other French hoods were so disappointing.
