One piece is really the first fandom I’ve ever been a part of in any real capacity. It’s not the first show I’ve been a fan of, nor is it the first fandom I’ve written *for*.

But back in the late 90s early 00s, I just kind of wrote, and didn’t interact with groups or chats or anything like that. But I wrote for Yu yu hakusho, Inu Yasha, Black Cat, Pretear and Hakuoki. And YYH was certainly my first anime/manga.

B6 favorite story trope and why?

Oh man, picking a favorite. Hmm. I really like the whole vibe of “don’t you die on me, I love you!” Just that fear making everyone honest and then the hurt person pulls through and the big gruff cranky person is all happy and relieved. At least until someone points it out.

But also the enemies to lovers moment when one saves the other and neither wants to think about *why* they took that risk. Especially if one person thinks they’re enemies and the other doesn’t.

I love soulmate tropes too, especially the reluctant ones, or “there must be a mistake.” I don’t know - love at first sight is great, but those are tropes I like the most.

D10 One story idea you really want to read but no one has written yet?

It’s really dark. Like really REALLY dark, so I’ll put it under a cut, but idk if no one’s wrote it vs I just haven’t found it.

Teach/Marco - payback war details. Something like Marco holding everyone back while the crew escapes once it’s clear who the winners will be.

Beat, exhausted, at Teach’s mercy. The cold sweat that breaks when Teach calls him Pretty Bird, and drags his prize off to all manner of debauchery.

I want the mindfuck of betrayal after twenty some years, the struggle of keeping his sanity as Teach ravages him, and the promise of freedom if he endures. The quiet threat of coming to collect him once Teach’s dreams come true - and oh do try to stay alive until then, pretty bird.

God's Café

Alrigth, first entry!

It´s located one block away from the Argentino Juniors club, at the corner between Av. Álvarez Jonte and Gavilán.

This café has everything related to Maradona. It's calm when there´s no matches and they treat you with a chill vibe.

This is how it looks outside and inside:

The first image shows a corner of Buenos Aires where the café is located. On the sides of the door there is a table with two chairs on each side, and on the walls there are large posters with a photo of Maradona on each one. The entrance has a black awning, and above the awning on the second floor is a long horizontal sign with the Argentine flag, Maradona balancing a ball above his head aligned with the Mayan sun, and text that says La Cafetería de Dios, written as D10S.

The second and third images are from the interior of the café: each table has a plastic replica of the world cup and/or a jenga set. On the ceiling there are several lights and reflectors. Next to one of the windows there is a mannequin with a curly black wig and an Argentinean t-shirt. Behind the counter there are quite a few vinyl records on the walls. In general, the café's decorated with Argentino Juniors and Maradona paraphernalia, such as busts, photos, posters, Warhol-style art pieces that say "he escaped from a dream," flags and T-shirts. There are also figures and statuettes of other things such as cats, and a telescope, etc.

I arrived at around 5:15pm. On the TV they were playing the blind feminine football/soccer match between River vs. Boca. The atmosphere was very relaxed! They didn't give me a menu or anything but as soon as I went in they asked me what I wanted (in other places I'll take pictures of the menu and offer commentary over that). Not a lot of light enters through the window because they're covered with posters, etc., but it's illuminated enough because the sun hits it head on and it also comes in through the door.

The Coffee with Milk and Medialunas

They're good, the coffee is strong and the medialunas are tasty, the only thing is that the sparkling water was a bit flat but I don't mind. Nothing out of the ordinary but I've been in far worse places. I enjoyed it!

Price: $690 (Argentinean pesos btw)

Price-quality balance is pretty good. I had to ask for an orange soda because I hadn't eaten anything else during the day, which added $900, so I'm not sure how wallet friendly the rest of the menu is, but for what we came here for seemed fair to me.

Rating: 7/10

La Cafetería de D10S

Bueno, primera entrada!

Se encuentra a una cuadra de la cancha de Argentino Juniors, en la esquina de Av. Álvarez Jonte y Gavilán.

Este café tiene todo lo relacionado a Maradona. Es tranquilo cuando no hay partido y te atienden con buena onda.

Así se ve por afuera y por adentro

Llegué a eso de las 17:15. En la tele estaban pasando el partido de fútbol para ciegos femenino de River vs Boca. Muy relajado el ambiente! No me dieron menú ni nada pero apenas entre me preguntaron qué queria (en otros lugares voy a sacar fotos del menú y ofrecer comentarios sobre eso). No entra mucha luz por las ventanas porque estan cubiertas con posters, etc., pero está lo suficientemente iluminado ya que el sol da de lleno y entra por la puerta también.

Bueno! A lo que venimos!

El Café con Leche y Medialunas

Están buenos, el café fuertecito y las medialunas bien, lo único que a la soda le faltaba gas pero no me molesta. Nada fuera de lo ordinario pero estuve en lugares mucho peores. Lo disfruté!

Precio: $690

Bastante bien la relación precio y calidad del combo. Tuve que pedir una mirinda naranja más porque no habia comido nada más en el día, lo que agregó unos $900, así que no estoy seguro qué tan amigable al bolsillo es el resto del menú, pero a lo que venimos me pareció justo.

Calificación: 7/10

I love that what started out as a fancy was actually finished and is changing for the better.

Demons. Murder. Memory loss. Epic fuckery. Swords.

D3: What can we help you with this month?

If the month wouldn’t have been over, I’d say motivation sometimes.

D4: Is MC dependent or independant?

She is more dependent than she likes. Prefers to be independent.

D5: How does your MC define freedom?

A horse, an open road and for a change no one hunting her for a change.

D6: What is your favourite part of writing?

When I'm in the right headspace and the words just flow out and it sounds perfect in this moment. You know the mood I mean.

Tea: no sugar, black tea with milk and a tiny bit of sugar.

Coffee: black, sometimes with milk and sugar. But mostly black.

Yup.

MC is lucky enough to have her dream job... She just doesn't like getting killed on daily basis. But she can travel so there’s that.

A book concerning manners and behaviours and how the **** to be a decent human being.

Usually I’m a nighttime writer. Con: I usually need to be up by 9 AM, so...

Fix, connect, and try to find a logical solution for plot holes.

If I'm not writing, I'm reading, playing video games, watching cat videos... You know, the usual to recharge.

She tried to buy a horse before settling under loud, loud curses on a carriage.

About 350 to 450 sound good to me.

She’s always fussing around with her clothes. Or she gets her horses killed.

Currently Agatha H. and the Clockwork Princess by the Foglios. It’s based on the web comic Girl Genius and I just don’t have the time right now!

Twilight. Badly written, crappy story, and a horrible protagonist. I don’t even need to start with 50 Shades, do I? Also, a bit more unpopular opinion: I hated Kafka’s The Trial. I hated that damn thing.

D22: Your MC just got $1 Million. What do they do?

She buys a horse, lets her equipment be repaired and heads to the South Sea with the rest of the money. Then she makes vacation, drinking cocktails and getting fed with tropical fruits.

Her freedom. People she cares about (even though she does not want to admit it, that stupid woman)

Pure Romance. What, they only fall in love with each other? Nothing else? Jesus fucking Christ, no!

I needed someone to need explain stuff to. Otherwise... He helps her find out things she otherwise wouldn’t have found out.
