93-2833 - Getting back in the groove

Since we got back from holiday, although I have been on two sketch-walks, I haven’t done many sketches in the evening (the jet lag didn’t help much with this habit). With this sketch of one of my favourite subjects (and favourite fruits) I was trying to get back into the habit of sketching everyday objects around the house. Tue-3-Sep-2024

The other day I thought of paining a colour wheel or chart, to make a visual note of all tubes of paints I have (which are all a bit muddled up). Then I decided to paint the actual tubes as well. Well that was fun! I taught my first kids’ art class with @livandchiuartstudio yesterday with a full class of eager young artists! I love working with kids because they keep my mind rolling especially when you get a comment like “ I only draw robots” and then have to figure out how to work that into your Animal drawing class!
