Fix: Asian Window emits light
TL;DR
with this mod, the asian window from the World Adventures Expansion Pack emits light
the catalog-name is "King Qing’s Window"
Installation: just put all the files in your packages-folder, the usual way, merging is no problem
Conflicts: unlikely, see below for detail
compatible with Hidden Stencils Unlocked by @simsi45

Hey Simmers, Rudi has a small fix for you today: it's time for my eleventh mod 🦙
While I built my asian mansion, I stumbled over this pretty cool looking paper window, which just emits no light. For no obvious reason. So I fixed it. With this mod, the asian window (catalog-name: "King Qing’s Window") from the World Adventures Expansion emits a realistic level of light.
How to install
Installation: just put all the files in your packages-folder, the usual way, nothing special required, you can merge them as well
requires the World Adventures Expansion Pack to work
merging is no problem
Recommended Mods, that further fix windows, lighting and related objects
Hidden Stencils Unlocked by simsi45
Reworked & Improved EA Lights by simsi45
Fixes for the broken lights in EA glass doors and arches by plasticbox
More Light Coming Through Windows by Blyss
Technical Details
this mod edits the "LITE" resource from the asian window, name: "windowAsianRectangular_lightingdata", instance: 0xE9F65BE1B3D53ED4
Conflicts: only if you have a mod installed who's editing exactly this resource as well, but I assume that's pretty unlikely
use delphys dashboard to check for conflicts
Enjoy your newly enlighted freedom. 😊
Additional Credits: S3PE S3OC @you-will-never-find-me-anymore for letting me use her Bonehilda for my awesome profile picture
AND to this awesome and still alive community of simmers ^^
Happy Simming :lovestruck:

I made a Cushing tier list of how much horni I experience from each of his characters (whose films I have seen. Sequels not counted except for when they’re different characters such as Lawrence and Lorrimer.)
(Keep in mind, I’m aspec. Most Cushing characters that I have crushes on I just want to cuddle with lol
This is also not a representation of how much I like the character, this is purely based around attraction. For instance some of my faves are in the mid tier)
Films under the cut
Red: Wilhuff Tarkin (Star Wars), Victor Frankenstein (Hammer Frankenstein Franchise)
Orange: Lawrence and Lorrimer van Helsing (Hammer Dracula Franchise), John Banning (The Mummy)
Yellow: Sherlock Holmes (Hound of the Baskervilles), Parson Blyss/Nathaniel Clegg (Captain Clegg), General Von Spieldorf (Vampire Lovers), Michael Carmichael (Fear in the Night), Sebastian Grisbane (House of the Long Shadows), Paul Cataflanque (Legend of the Werewolf), Inspector Quennell (The Blood Beast Terror), John Rollason (Abominable Snowman), Mark Ashley (Nothing but the Night), Wells (Horror Express)
Yellow: Osric (Hamlet), Harry Fordyce (Cash on Demand), Winston Smith (1984), Frederick Utterson (I, Monster), Herbert Flay (Madhouse), Unnamed character (Dreams), MacGregor (Tender Dracula), Unnamed character (It Might Be You), Professor Lundgren (The Beast Must Die)
Green: Dr. Abner Perry (At the Earth’s Core), Dr. Sandor Schreck (Dr. Terror’s House of Horror)

Looking back won't hurt, will it? I credit the post idea to this one here.
I started my journey sometime in 2008, after leaving the religion and beliefs my Mum followed or, rather, was born into, which I took for myself as childhood indoctrination. I first started with an eclectic blend of half-arsed Chaos magick and slightly later, Wicca, until I ran into problems with the whole "love and light" aspect of it, as well as the whole shying away from the more darker aspects of Life in general, along with my own problems with the Wiccan Rede, and decades later, the whole drama with the Dr. Margaret Murray fakelore incident. Also, not to mention some of Raymond Buckland's writings within the well known Blue Books is really problematic, and that some practices within Wicca isn't for ritual reasons, it was also because of some personal "preferences" by Gerald Gardner at the time.
My boyfriend during the above time was a long-time follower and adherent of Munay-Ki, who introduced me to things like Chakras, which decades later seem problematic of him and his beliefs, because Munay-Ki incorporates that stuff despite being Shamanism, which to me personally and logically, is... Weird. Not the first time that I've felt that certain New Age beliefs are problematic because of their connections to appropriation, not to mention the continual upheaval of certain plant species, caused by the overuse and overharvesting of stuff like Palo Santo and White Sage, along with the over-mining of certain popular crystals for the sake of having a focus for one's practices. Later, in 2014, I was called to the Left Hand Path, thanks to pages and resources like Dear Wicked, The Blyssful Witch (these two can be seen through the Wayback Machine) and later, via places like The Nephilim Rising. I thank whatever it was for calling me and pulling me towards a certain direction, because I started doing things proper and actually learning. It taught me about researching mythology and folklore, why Hermeticism is important, how to "work" when running out of spoons and pitfalls to try my best to avoid.
In the present day, I'm led towards Hades and the path of the Goêteia, despite the "difficulty" of living in the Perth CBD hindering my access to nature as in the wilderness and also being aware of burnout which has happened in the past. I also really like working with plants. I also have to keep it semi-discreet, because although my partner doesn't denigrate it, I still have this need for secrecy. I also don't have space for an altar like I used to.

“The great silent film and "talkie" star, the lovely Lois Wilson, pictured with *Rossana (Skowronek x Rose of Hind by Rejeb). Miss Wilson was the star of over 100 movies during her several decade career as an actress and was a frequent guest at Kellogg Arabians when it was still owned by the legendary cereal magnet. Among her many contributions to the early years of Hollywood, Lois was the original Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby in 1926, and was life long best friends with the legendary Gloria Swanson. She passed away at the age of 93 in 1988, with her last TV appearance being in a 1963 episode of The Jack Benny Show in a Rose Bowl Sketch. The legendary heart throb and actor, Rudolph Valentino, who stared with the Kellogg owned stallion Jadaan (*Abbeian x Amran by *Deyr) in The Sheikh of the Desert, was a frequent guest at the Kellogg ranch during this time as well. The exquisite *Rossana, one of Mr. Kellogg's favorite riding mares as well as being an extraordinary producer. Imported as a five year old in 1926 from the Crabbet Park Stud, *Rossana went on to produce 13 foals for Kellogg Arabians by the leading stallions of the day: *Raseyn, Jadaan, Kaaba, Farana and *Ferdin. It's a credit to this fine mare, that nearly 100 years after her importation, her bloodlines live on in the Cal-Poly breeding program and her mare-line is still one of their best producing lines. Breeders from James Draper to Frank McCoy to Van Vleet Arabians to Dr. Howard Kale to Daniel C. Gainey had *Rossana breeding in their programs, through both her sons and daughters. National and Regional winners Mi-Fanci++, Kubshain, Sanyen++, Count Naborr++, Zazrayk++, GG Madeira++, Bint Diana and Farzi++. Of special note, was the *Rossana granddaughter Pomona Astral (*Raseyn x Ferdana by *Ferdin). Pomona Astral spent her last years with Jay Stream at his Greengate Farm, and four of her granddaughters were exported to Brazil, all leaving progeny there. They were the full sisters AN Mona and Faoniet (*Ibn Moniet El Nefousa x Al Nahr Faona by Fadjeyn) and the paternal sisters, AN Natalie (x AN Faneyna by Fadjeyn) and Al Nahr Tiara (x Tiara by *Raseyn) who were both sired by Al Nahr Neymsake (Neyseyn x Pomona Astral). And then there was Sanibel............... The matriarch of Cal-Poly and undoubtedly their best producer was the great Sanibel. One of only 5 foals sired by the great Sands (Ferneyn x Fersara by Ferseyn), a full brother to both Ferzon and Dunes, Sanibel was a great-great-Granddaughter of *Rossana in her mare line. As a show mare, Sanibel did well. Winning and placing in halter, it was her sons and daughters that were her legacy. Kello-Gwalior (by *Gwalior++), was her first son to gain recognition as a halter horse and as a sire of gorgeous daughters. Then, there were the *Bask++ off-spring out of Sanibel and her daughters. Spring Charm (*Bask++ x Sanibel) was the first great mare, foaled in 1969 and a great show and breeding mare. Followed by her full brother, Bold Prince, foaled in 1972, shown and used lightly at stud and then exported to Costa Rica in 1976. 1973 brought Sanibel a gorgeous grey filly, Spring Fling by *Serafix, who went on to be the dam of the Cal-Bred Futurity Western Pleasure Champion Bountyful Queen, by *Bask++. Not only was Bountyful Queen a great performance mare, she was also the dam of twice US National Top Ten Show Hack Lady J+/, by Huckleberry Bey++,, she also produced the great show geldings Bountyful Prince+ (by *CG Balih El Jamaal), Lusant+ (by *Khadraj NA+++/ and one of our foundation mares, Blyss (by Retador), who is the dam of several stunning daughters by *Regal Actor JP and our "Benji" by LC Athens. Next on deck for Sanibel was Spring Rain (by *Bajram) who was the dam of one of the greatest park horses ever, Canadian National Champion and twice Scottsdale Champion Park Horse, Reign On (by *Bask++). 1979 brought Sanibel's last *Bask++ daughter, the gorgeous Spring Dream, who was a great producing mare and lived her entire life at Cal-Poly. 1982 brought Sanibel's final foal, a filly by *AN Malik named Spring Fiesta. I don't believe she was ever shown but she was the most prolific of Sanbel's daughters, leaving 14 foals at Cal-Poly, including the 2 great broodmares CP Princess (by Barbary+++) and CP Spring Fortune (by Reign On) who are both still visible in their breeding program today.” Jim Robbins for We Love Arabian Horses, offering a peek at one of the greatest Skowronek daughters to leave Crabbet Park and her legacy for W. K. Kellogg

Friday night with Captain Clegg
Friday night with Captain Clegg
Tumblr media
And so yesterday night, after ordering a pizza, I sat down and re-watched a movie variously known as Captain Clegg or as Night Creatures, a 1962 Hammer movie featuring Peter Cushing and Oliver Reed. And if Cushing and Reed aren’t reason enough to watch a movie, well, sue me.
But it’s actually better than that, because…

#Repost @hammer_horror_movies • • • • • • Captain Clegg (aka Night Creatures in the US) was released 25th June 1962 - Directed by Peter Graham Scott and starred Hammer heavyweights Peter Cushing and Michael Ripper (in his best role). ---- Co-starring Oliver Reed, Patrick Allen and the gorgeous Yvonne Romain (see my earlier post for more of her!) - Hammer was originally due to film "I Am Legend" (the Richard Matheson novel) under the title "Night Creatures", but this was abandoned when the BBFC informed them that they would not pass the film. As Hammer had promised the U.S distributors a film called "Night Creatures" the title was passed on to the already completed Captain Clegg instead. The film was based on Russell Thorndike's "Doctor Syn - A Tale of Romney Marsh," but Dr. Syn's name was changed to Blyss to avoid legal problems with Walt Disney, who claimed exclusive rights to Thorndike's stories. ---- Captian Collier arrives in and English coastal town with his band of navy men to investigate reports of illegal smuggling and bootlegging, only to find that he must also investigate reports of "Marsh Phantoms," being said to ride on phantom horses through the marshes spreading terror to any who encounter them. The Captian suspects that the local vicar is hiding something as well. ---- It is another of those films that fans are mixed on but there are a few that consider it one of the best Hammer Films productions! Praising the film's imaginative script and characterizations! Check it out!!!! ---- #hammer #horror #hammerhorror #horrormovies #horrorfan #frankenstein #monster #dracula #glamour #scary #60s #vampire #bloody #blood #british #spooky #christopherlee #films #petercushing #gothic #movies https://www.instagram.com/p/B3ksTSxFMhV/?igshid=ewlt1gd2celp
