Medora is the youngest, Agnes is the oldest

Fenwick is straight up the only doll of his kind, his skeletal structure is different and he’s missing the overlay that gives dolls their Signature shiny look.. he’s sorta like a prototype for Archibald’s type of model

Dolls & Doll-adjacent Things I’ve Been Obsessed with This Month 💖 (plus links!)

1. Antu Dreamlike Teaparty Centaur BJD’s

I’ve thought about these constantly since they were revealed. They’re just so SWEET 🥹. I have a couple coming in this week, I really hope I get the purple one!

2. Ddung Clown Doll

Ddung is a Korean doll line I just learned about! They seem to fall between collector and playline— the bodies are study & the outfits are very detailed and well-constructed. This clown is EVERYTHING

3. Licca Chan Bunny Outfit

Okay so this is an outfit FOR a doll and not a doll itself, but oh my god look at Licca’s fluffy bunny outfit!! UGH!! Basic Licca dolls can be relatively affordable. Plus, the clothing sets usually fit rainbow high 👀

4. Dorothy Forest Spirit

These are figures more than dolls, but I just adore these little deer ladies!! I have the one with the green raindrop dress, and I bring her around everywhere to keep me company. Their sitting position makes them so easy to display!

5. Teennar Campus Blindbox BJDs

They’re fruit themed, they’re fashionable, and they’re SO baby!! There’s also going to be a series of figurines and a set of Sakura-themed recolors for this line!

Happy birthday to my state! Today, Jan. 29, is Kansas Day. I was born and raised here, and I'm still here. Kenleigh is embracing Kansas as well - she even wore a Dorothy-inspired dress, because seriously you can't hear Kansas without immediately thinking of The Wizard of Oz lol. Below are some photos showing our state symbols.

State crop: Wheat (we're known as the Wheat State as well as the Sunflower State):

State reptile: Ornate box turtle (my favorite!) Kenleigh is shown in the Tallgrass Prairie in the Flint Hills, where she found this cute little guy:

State bird: Meadowlark (shown at the Marais des Cygnes National Wildlife Refuge in Linn County):

State insect: Honeybee (shown in Tallgrass Prairie):

State flower: Sunflower:

State animal/mammal: Bison, aka buffalo (and yes, she's wearing red shoes to complete her Dorothy look lol):

There are other symbols in Kansas, but these are the top five that are most commonly studied and referred to in schools and what not. The rest:

State fruit: Sandhill plum

State grass: Little bluestem

State tree: Cottonwood

turing from 2064 read only memories is an interesting character

they (/them) were the first sapient robot, and is presumably responsible for the lilims in va11-hall A (which makes them the best thing to ever happen to that universe. all hail the dorothinquisition)

they're also partially responsible for a slur being made due to objecting to being called "bucket of bolts" by chad "starfucker" mulberry on account of them not having any nuts or bolts in their composition

the slur created, bit brain isn't used in va11 from what i remember.

Elise Shaver moved to NYC with her sister, Dorothy Shaver, in the 1920s. Elise, an artist, and her sister were inspired by the success of the Kewpie Doll and crafted their own dolls out of bandage cotton and wrote stories to accompany the dolls. Dorothy sold her sister's "Little Shaver" Dolls to Lord & Taylor and eventually became the first female CEO to earn a $1 Million dollar salary.
