Propaganda
Ava Gardner (The Killers, The Barefoot Contessa)— She's so goddamn hot. Her and Frank Sinatra could've sandwiched me and I would've thanked them for the privilege
Dorothy Dandridge (Carmen Jones, Porgy and Bess, Island in the Sun)— The first Black actress to ever be nominated for best actress, Dorothy Dandridge was a groundbreaking actress who deserved better. She started her career as a singer, being put in a song-and-dance duo with her sister by their stage mother, and singing in soundies (I highly recommend cow cow boogie, it's adorable), proto-music videos. She started appearing as a featured singer in films. Her star was on the rise and she soon became a star solo performer. She continued acting, but had limited options because she refused to do stereotypical roles. She finally landed a starring role in Bright Road in 1953, but it was the movie Carmen Jones that truly cemented her as a star and sex symbol. Not to sound cheesy, but she literally sizzles on screen. You can't help but understand how poor Harry Belafonte gets caught in her trap, just look at her. This is the role that got her that Oscar nom. She didn't win cause I mean #OscarsSoWhite, but she was a sensation and continued starring in films, despite troubles in her life (including a shitty director bf who fucked with her career and a traumatizing pregnancy/delivery). Outside of her filmwork, she was also an activist, fighting against racism. She left behind an amazing legacy, and continues to inspire many actresses to this day (including also very hot first (and only) black woman to win best actress, Halle Berry).
This is round 4 of the tournament. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. Please reblog with further support of your beloved hot sexy vintage woman.
[additional propaganda submitted under the cut.]
Ava Gardner:
Ava Gardner is one of my favorite actresses of all time. Although a lot of her roles in movies are about her being beautiful and nothing else, there are some films where her acting truly shines.
Gifset: https://www.tumblr.com/pelopides/721438308726603776/ava-gardner-as-pandora-reynolds-pandora-and-the

HER FACE. LOOK AT IT. Also was a life long supporter of civil rights and a member of the NAACP, had lots of fun love affairs with other stars, bullfighters, married several times but was also happy in between to just have lovers and was unapologetically herself.
I literally gasp every time I see her.
Between 1942 and 1964, Ava Gardner was credited in no less 50 films, and is still considered by some to be the most beautiful actresses that ever graced the silver screen. Despite life-long insecurities regarding her talent as an actress, she weathered public scandal, industry hostility, and outright condemnation by the Catholic Church with fearless grace. She would later in life talk candidly about the reality and pain of living through two (studio approved!!) abortions during her short marriage to Frank Sinatra, and while the two of them could not make their relationship work, they remained in each other’s lives for nearly 30 years. She would forever describe herself as a small-town girl who just got lucky, but always felt like a beautiful outsider.
Really genuinely one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever seen. An autodidact. Had amazing chemistry with Gregory Peck to the point where I do think about watching On The Beach again sometimes because they're so good together even though that movie did destroy me. Was a great femme fatale in many movies.
Dorothy Dandridge propaganda:
Beautiful actress and hand-working and talented singer, she's especially notable for the number of firsts she accomplished such as the first African-American woman to receive a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress and the first African-American woman to appear on the cover of Life magazine.
Dorothy Dandridge was a classic Hollywood triple threat, singing, dancing, and acting with the best of them. She was the first African American nominated for an academy award for Best Actress for her role in Carmen Jones and she was just jaw-droppingly beautiful.
youtube
this og of black film needs no introduction (star on the hollywood walk of fame anyone?), voice of an angel, heavenly features, just an overall stunning lady :)
Look at her!!! She is so unbelievably charismatic in Carmen, it’s insane. Her chemistry with Harry Belafonte is off the charts, and every time she puts another outdoor [sic] on it’s like ‘oh god this is a whole new level of stunning’ 🥵. She was so so talented, when she’s on screen I genuinely dare you to tear your eyes away from her. Deserves to be known so much better but due to Hollywood racism and a tough personal life she didn’t make it as big as she should have done. She’s incredible.
First Black actress to be nominated for the Oscar for Best Actress! Was the first choice for the role of Cleopatra that went to Elizabeth Taylor (we were ROBBED).

One Dress a Day Challenge
November: Oscar winners
Samson and Delilah / Hedy Lamarr as Delilah
Year: 1950
Designers: Edith Head, Dorothy Jeakins, Elois Jenssen, Gile Steele and Gwen Wakeling
I've meant to revisit this spectacular dress ever since it first featured in Coeli's picks, and since today was Hedy Lamarr's birthday, this seems an appropriate time. Delilah wears a jaw-dropping array of costumes in this film, each one more sumptuous than the last. Just when you think they couldn't possibly top the last one, she shows up for the finale in this peacock gown!
The cape is lavishly adorned with real feathers. Legend says they were "donated" by the peacocks owned by Paramount Studios!
The costume was part of Debbie Reynolds' collection, and it has survived in remarkably good condition.

I don't watch trailers as a rule (why yes, I do want a cookie and a pat on the back for that), so I don't know if what I considered film spoilers were true spoilers or if they were already shown in the trailers. I do know I couldn't avoid some spoilers on Twitter, but thankfully DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE is so much more than the spoiler moments.
Shawn Levy, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, you did well.
All hail Kevin Feige, the mastermind at uniting the former Fox property with the MCU.
Feige flanked by his Marvel Universe-ers as he got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Shawn Levy, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour,Emma Corrin, Ke Huy Quan, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Simu Liu Chris Pratt, Brie Larson and Kathryn Hahn of the forthcoming WANDAVISION spinoff AGATHA something..
It has gone through so many titles, I forget what it landed on.
Oh, yes. It went back to the top. AGATHA ALL ALONG with HEARTSTOPPER's Joe Locke.
But that is a topic for another day. Today is all about DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE, which, to me, is the best DEADPOOL. Yes, it's full of fan service. When is fun a bad thing?
When is whimsy a bad thing? What helps the film to not be mired in a quip a'thon was Hugh Jackman's continued grounded portrayal of Logan. I think the film would have been very annoying, if he wasn't the emotional ballast of the piece.
And yes, there is a post-credit scene, but it's not important.
SPOILERS FOR DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE. AS MANY SPOILERS AS QUIPS
SPOILERS
WHAT I LOVED
-My favourite part wasn't a part of the storyline, but during the credits when they ran a salute to the Fox Marvel films by showing clips of the film and behind-the-scenes footage (including Miles Teller from the cursed FANTASTIC FOUR film) with Green Day's "Good Riddance" (Time of Your LIfe) playing underneath it. Schmaltzy, yes, but an effective tip of the hat to what came before.
-The fourth wall break where Deadpool says the last great multiverse film was THE WIZARD OF OZ, then fast track to the end where Wolverine is told by B-15 that he can't change the past and it's because of the past he's the man who was able to save the timeline. Like Dorothy, it was in him all along.
-Hugh Jackman giving a much needed weight to the film. 5 credited writers, including Ryan Reynolds and it could easily have gone amiss. I'm all for actors feeling like they know their characters well enough to write for them or feed lines to their writers, but actors get carried away by getting too enamored with their performance or pleasing the audience, so you have Reynolds providing a joke every 2.5 minutes and then you are hit with Jackman's earnestness in conveying Logan's pain and anger (at Deadpool and himself). I'm glad they kept the depiction of Logan as it always have been and not try to make him a jokester and match Deadpool's energy.
You've been at it a long time, Bub and you're still great at it.
With his baby Oscar.
With his baby Oscar.
-Emma Corrin was an excellent villain. It took so long to get to Cassandra Nova, that I honestly forgot Corrin was the big bad. Corrin was very effective as the extremely formidable Cassandra. They're such a powerful character that could easily destroy Wade and Logan, but I didn't mind how they hamstrung their ability because I liked seeing Corrin onscreen.
And they talked about the thing! The elephant in the womb room!
-The cameos: I was spoiled about Cavill's appearance and Chris Evans', but Evans' was a misdirect. I assumed he would be Cap, but when he said, "Flame on!", the theater went crazy. I think I even shouted.
No disrespect to new Johnny Storm Joseph Quinn, but we had a 10 and now we're getting a literal 4.
I had already seen interviews with Aaron Stanford who reprised his role as Pyro and saw Dafne Keen promoting the film
, saw pictures of LOKI's Wunmi Mosaku at the premiere,
so I knew she would pop up in the film and since I knew it was a multiverse story, I knew the TVA was involved. Extremely and pleasantly surprised by the other X-Men universe characters and by Jennifer Garner and Wesley Snipes,
Though isn't the fact that Ryan Reynolds was in a BLADE film another ding in the timeline?
but it's Channing Tatum's Gambit that thrilled me. He willed that fcking depiction into existence! And the jokes about Remy's heavy Cajun accent just made it all the better.
One cameo that didn't happen? Reynold's co-Wrexham owner Rob McElhenney being cut.
WHAT I HATED
Why does Marvel always give things away. Invite Mosak, Keen and Stanford to the premiere, but don't let them walk the carpet (Dafne Keen has said there was talk of her walking the red carpet but telling people she was Hugh's plus one, then they made the decision to let the cat out of the bag.) Don't put them in promos. I would have have been more effective to me if it were a complete surprise. While not Marvel/Disney, it reminds me when I saw LOGAN and was shocked that Laura had adamantium claws. After seeing the film I watched the trailer and was shocked that it's revealed in the trailer!
Same with AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR. I went to a test screening of it and when Peter introduces himself to Doctor Strange and says the line about using made up names, the line killed. I couldn't even hear what was said next because everyone was still laughing. They put that scene in the trailer. It would have been a great scene to watch unfold while watching it. So, seeing Laura/B-15 and Pyro was diminished because I knew they would be turning up, but great to have them back all the same.
THE REST
-Gone, but not forgotten. Stan Lee had two cameos - his image on the side of a bus before the Deadpool variants scene, and pops up in the behind-the-scenes clip.
-Another shout out to a creator- this time Rob Liefeld. The shoppe that Deadpool and Wolverine were thrown into during the fight was named Liefeld's.
-Great needle drops, though they butchered "Bring 'Em Out" with the Avengers, or maybe it was X-Men sting. Just let that song be great.
Matthew Macfadyen was excellent, very fun. He brought the laughs even without a ludicrously capacious bag.

Lost, but Not Forgotten: The Madness of Youth (1923)
Direction: Jerome Storm
Scenario: Joseph Franklin Poland
Original Story: George F. Worts
Camera: Joseph August
Studio: First National Fox (production) & (distribution)
Performers: John Gilbert, Billie Dove, Wilton Taylor, George K. Arthur, Ruth Boyd, Julanne Johnston, Donald Hatswell, Luke Lucas, Dorothy Manners (potentially miscredited as Louise/The Dancer)
Premiere: 8 April 1923
Status: presumed entirely lost
Length: 4,719 feet, or roughly 51 minutes.
Synopsis (synthesized from magazine summaries of the plot)
A sophisticated, young gentleman, Jaca Javalie (Gilbert), is travelling on a cross-country train to California. As Javalie traverses the smoking car, it’s apparent he’s being tailed by a detective. However, somewhere between the smoker and the pullman, the detective loses the trail—as if Javalie had disappeared into thin air.
Later, out from the ditch beside the railroad, Javalie emerges—dressed now in tatters, a bindle stick slung over his shoulder. Javalie makes his way on foot to the California mansion of the Banning family.
Within the estate, the patriarch, Theodore P. Banning (Taylor), has built a private vault to secure his millions after being burned by bank failures in the past.
Banning’s children, Ted (Arthur) and Nanette, a.k.a. Nan (Dove), are now young adults and, though he loves them, he knows they’ve been spoiled rotten. Ted is selfish and unfeeling. He had brought home from France a wife, Jeanne (Boyd), but has since made her life miserable. Nan spends every night out gallivanting with the caddish mooch, Pete Reynolds (Hatswell), currently staying at the Banning’s as a guest.
Banning found comfort only in spiritualism—often communing from beyond the grave with his wife.
Javalie makes his entrance in the middle of another family quarrel. He presents himself to Banning, Sr. as a man with mystical powers, which he learned in India. He claims that has come to the Banning home after visions of their familial strife, sure that he can bring them peace. Banning agrees to let Javalie stay a while. Something about Javalie’s manner has a quick effect on the younger Bannings, who begin acting with a bit more reverence and grace. At dinner, Javalie lays his mysticism spiel on a receptive audience, save for the guest, Reynolds.

Later, the Bannings throw a lavish masquerade ball with the theme “winter frolic.” At the ball, Nan gets Javalie alone and says she doubts his supernatural gifts. He assures her he isn’t trying to fool her, and she takes that as flirting. The gentleman thief Javalie is softening.
Next, Jeanne approaches Javalie and pleads with him to save her husband from the temptation of a dancer hired for the ball, who has a reputation as a vampire.
Ruth Boyd, George K. Arthur, John Gilbert, and Julanne Johnston in The Madness of Youth from Motion Picture Classic, June 1923
Javalie and Nan take a walk through the garden and she teasingly goads him into an embrace. Pleased with her machinations, Nan flutters away.
Now left alone in the garden, Javalie is greeted by the dancer. Under her mask is a familiar face, Louise (Johnston), Javalie’s ex-girlfriend. Louise threatens to expose him to the Bannings. Javalie reveals that he’s been planning to rob the Banning vault for three years. Louise agrees to publicly play-act that Javalie has saved her soul in exchange for a cut of the loot and Javalie’s hand in marriage. Javalie preaches to the crowd of attendees and, on cue, Louise repents. Jeanne and Ted reconcile.
After the party, Javalie finds Banning alone in his library. Javalie hypnotizes Banning and gets him to reveal the location of and combination for the vault. The two men were not alone however: Reynolds had been eavesdropping. Reynolds confronts Javalie and extorts him.
John Gilbert and Wilton Taylor in The Madness of Youth from Motion Picture Classic, June 1923
The next day, inspired by Javalie’s preaching, Ted and Jeanne decide to start again on their own. Banning happily offers to build them a home. Javalie is shaken by a note from Louise saying that his preaching worked better than expected and she did, in fact, feel reformed and was off to make amends with her family.
Disturbed by Louise’s actions, Javalie defiantly steels himself and heads to the vault, combination in hand. However, when Javalie reaches the vault door, he’s overwhelmed and faints. When he comes to, Javalie is surrounded by the Bannings. Ted plans to call the police. Nan holds Javalie close and begs for mercy through tears, claiming that Javalie must have had a change of heart just as they all had. Jeanne backs her up. Seeing Nan and Javalie together, Banning says he understands and the police are not called.

---
Points of Interest:
John Gilbert appeared in an astounding 90 silent films in his career from bit roles to starring roles and he even dabbled in writing and directing. While Gilbert had already worked on over 60 films by the time Madness of Youth came around, he was newly minted as a star just two years prior when he signed with Fox Film Corp. Gilbert would truly break out as a star when he signed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1924. Of those 90 silent films, 58 are considered lost films, which means that only 35% of Gilbert’s film work is known to survive today.
Madness of Youth is one of many films believed to be lost after the 1937 Fox vault fire. In the summer of 1937 at the Fox vault in Little Ferry, NJ a fire broke out that destroyed a majority of films produced by Fox before 1932 as well as films from other studios, most notably Educational Pictures. The fire also killed a child in a neighboring building. All in one night, thousands of films were lost, leaving a gaping hole in our film heritage.

Theater Kids: New OC Class!!!
Here they are, at last! My class of OC's! Some basic background is that they all take part in the theater program at DuPont, and they're one of the largest classes! As always, @artzychic27 and @imsparky2002! Without further ado, I present, my babies!
(Additional note, Missy Rutherford and Jesse Ortega, my previously introduced OC's, are also in this class! Here's the link to their post: My OC's)
Ayesha Reynolds:
Appearance: Chestnut brown hair, neck-length and almost always tied up, medium tanned skin, has heterochromia, one eye hazel and the other dark green, short but curvy build. Dresses very comfy but with BRIGHT colors.
Bio: (She/Her) The captain of the spirit club, with enough positivity to combat an entire army of akumas. She hails from Burbank, California, and has a passion for animation. She has a YouTube channel and Tumblr where she makes videos and drawings of Disney, the Miraculous heroes, and OCs. She's got a series where she draws all of Paris' heroes (she's particularly fond of King Monkey and Pigella) taking part in adorable hijinks, with her style being anime-esque mixed with thick lines. She doesn't like being sad in public, as she fears it will make her seem less credible to be leading a club about positivity. Oh, and don't knock animation in front of her.
Dorothy "Dot" Waverly:
Appearance: Curly, shoulder-length black hair, medium dark skin, amber eyes, tall and curvy build. Dresses very preppy but with lots of accessories.
Bio: (She/Her) The dedicated secretary of the school's student council, Dot finds order and organization to be a source of peace. She labels all of her belongings and has an acute filing system for all her schoolwork. She's quite friendly and helpful, being rather close with Sabrina, but don't get within ten feet of her before she's had her morning coffee. She prides herself on having things under control and being able to solve problems for her friends, but can also admit when she's in over her head.
Petra Markov:
Appearance: Neck-length, straight blue-black hair, medium tanned skin, cloudy blue eyes with wire-rim glasses, short, plus-size and curvy. Dresses in decora kei fashion.
Bio: (She/They) The artist of her class, with a love of rubberhouse style and retro animation. They’re hypercritical of themselves, not wanting to be done with a work until it's perfection in her eyes. Petra is very passionate, and if she begins working on something, she REALLY gets into it. Their perfectionism doesn't apply to critiquing others. In fact, she's afraid to comment on pieces of art that come from her friends, in case they say the wrong thing and come off as rude.
Roxanne "Roxie" Richter:
Appearance: Choppy, neck-length, ash blonde hair, dark blue eyes, medium toned skin, wrists wrapped in bandages from fighting, husky but buff build. Dresses in alternative/punk fashion.
Bio: (They/Them) A hot-tempered member of the school's debate team, Roxie is always up to get into it with people. Despite their somewhat aggressive way of approaching things, they're a very caring and protective friend, who absolutely HATES liars. They have a tendency to handle tough situations with snarky comments, and have some issues with trust due to a terrible breakup in the past.
Anthony Mathis:
Appearance: Shaggy, black hair with blue-streaked bangs, bright blue eyes, medium pale skin, several facial piercings, lean build. Dresses in a mix of punk and goth.
Bio: (He/Him) A cool-headed goth with a penchant for making sarcastic comments no matter the situation, Anthony is a friend that can be counted on to tell it like it is. Literally nothing fazes him, no matter how strange. He bonds a lot with Eri over their love for Goth culture, and though he may not be the most social person, he is very sweet to his crush and later boyfriend, Jesse. He’s also a proud Brit with a passion for tea, of all kinds.
Candace Fletcher:
Appearance: Shoulder-length, wavy, strawberry blonde hair, tanned Caucasian skin, Sharp navy eyes, tall, slender and athletic build. Dresses in cheer gear, mixed with fashionable prep.
Bio: (She/Her) DuPont's head cheerleader who does NOT mess around when it comes to managing her squad. She's stern, something that comes with her job as the class mom. She's also the headstrong leader of her bestie group. Candace is a straight A student, and always worries about being seen as "just another dumb cheerleader." She also comes from a rich background, but is very modest about it, especially when compared to kids like Chloe Bourgeois.
Eri Tanaka:
Appearance: Waist-length, straight black hair, moderately pale skin, almond-shaped, brown eyes (though usually has colored contacts, which are violet), petite and slender build. Dresses as a full gothic lolita, lots of black and lace. Also carries a parasol.
Bio: (She/Her) Despite proudly bearing the label of "gothic Lolita", Eri is an incredibly perky and energetic girl. Very loud, very friendly, yet gothic all the same. Her usual manner of speaking is incredibly dramatic, which is great for theatre, not always the best for social interactions. She's Juleka's motivator alongside Rose, and helps the girl embrace her gothic self, affectionately calling her a "Queen of Darkness". Eri also has a joy for special effects, and wishes to get a job doing CGI when she's older.
Staci Kwan:
Appearance: Short, straight, dyed red hair, light olive skin, almond-shaped hazel eyes, star-like birthmark on the left side of forehead. Dresses in casual, athletic fashion.
Bio: (She/Her) A cheerleader who bucks the stereotype of being unceasingly perky, Staci is a cynical and wisecracking young lady who's not afraid to tell it like it is and be the voice of reason to her more...exuberant classmates in the most deadpan way possible. She may seem lackadaisical and uncaring on the outside, but she's a caring friend who'll always pull you back to earth. That is, until she gets any sort of caffeine in her system…
Margo Jorgensen:
Appearance: Tall, neck-length, platinum blonde hair, pulled into pigtails, large sky blue eyes, tanned skin, freckles on nose, slender but toned build. Dresses very winter cozy and loves to wear sweaters and gloves.
Bio: (She/Her) Despite hailing from the cold and icy Norway, Margo is as sunny as they come! The cheerleader who always goes to the bottom of the pyramid formation, Margo is a jolly girl who also loves to ship people in her school. She's got a collection of mugs and sweaters, and has an adorable Nordic accent. Despite being innocent, she's got loads of street smarts, and hates feeling like she's underestimated by others. She also has a great love for DIY and craft projects, especially home and furniture, which she often completes with her mom.
Brecken Sutcliffe:
Appearance: Mussed, short brown hair, Tanned Caucasian skin, warm brown eyes, freckles on cheeks, husky but muscular build. Country boy style but with jock elements.
Bio: (He/Him) A big-hearted and all-around friendly athlete, Brecken is as passionate about sports as he is about supporting and caring for his friends. Not always the sharpest tool in the shed, much like his buddy Kim, Brecken more than makes up for it with his good, affectionate nature and adorable southern drawl. He worries sometimes about falling behind in school and not being taken seriously, but his friends and girlfriend are always there to pick him back up when he needs it! He also loves animals and regularly volunteers at local shelters.
Soo-Yeon Park:
Appearance: Spiky, short black hair, almond-shaped, black eyes, medium olive skin, tall, lean but athletic build. Dresses very casual but sporty.
Bio: (He/Him) The certified dad of both his class and basketball team. He keeps track of everyone on class trips, and is a damn good cook. He's known as "The Sniper" in basketball for having extremely accurate range from long distances. His tall and lanky build is great for the sport, but he can be clumsy when it comes to moving around outside the court. He's a man who has no time for trash talking, and is cold and calculated when playing. Also a huge Kpop fan.
Parker Beauregard:
Appearance: Auburn pixie cut with long bangs, navy eyes, mild tanned skin, freckles along cheekbones, lean and athletic build. Dresses in a solider-esque style. (Think Axel from Total Drama)
Bio: (She/Her) Coming from a military background, Parker tends to take whatever she may be doing incredibly seriously. She makes sure all of her friends stay in line with her own brand of tough love, and values discipline in both school and athletics. She does have a caring side, which shows in her desire to motivate her friends and to protect them from harm. She also loves her three dogs very dearly.
Agnes "Aggie" Findlay:
Appearance: Wild, shoulder-length, rust red curls, electric green eyes, medium pale skin covered with freckles, prosthetic left leg, petite but athletic build. Dresses like a classic skater but with punk elements.
Bio: (She/Her) A savage shortie from Scotland who skateboards successfully while snarking. Her and Anthony love ragging on each other due to the goth being from England. Aggie happens to have been born without a left leg, and has a prosthetic one instead. She can't stand the feeling of being coddled, and feels no shame in being a congenital amputee. Aggie's got a friendly rivalry with Alix, and they like to give each other advice after parkour battles.
Mona Truffaut:
Appearance: Wavy, shoulder-length, dark brown hair, dark skin, dark amber eyes, chipped tooth in front, short but strong build. Dresses very comfy and casual, but loves to wear jewelry.
Bio: (She/They) A laidback and easygoing individual with a passion for photography and film-making, Mona is more often than not the peacemaker amongst her classmates…when they don’t accidentally say the wrong thing. Mona can sometimes have her head high in the clouds, not always making sense to her friends, but their big heart and skill in resolving arguments more than makes up for it. She also loves to decorate their wheelchair with stickers and ribbons.
Genevieve "Evie" Balthazar:
Appearance: Waist-length, silky brown hair; medium tanned skin, hazel eyes with flecks of gold, tall and very curvy. Dresses very classically ladylike.
Bio: (She/Her) A choir girl with one of the best singing voices in the entire school. She is a prim and proper young woman, well mannered and soft spoken. She comes from an old and important Mexican family, and has been called "Evie Poppins" by her friends since she babysits kids and has an umbrella. The singer fell for a country boy, Brecken, showing that sometimes opposites attract. She has a dislike for rude manners, and sometimes her pride keeps her from admitting when she's wrong about something. She likes to speak Spanish with Denise and Ondine.
Eloise Matuidi:
Appearance: Short black bob cut, sharp green eyes with thick glasses, medium pale skin, beauty mark on chin. Dresses very smart and sensible.
Bio: (She/Her) A mathematical genius with a rational and analytical mind to match, Eloise tends to stick to the more logical approach than some of her classmates. She sometimes has trouble when her sound reasoning is challenged, as she does with both expressing her own emotions and understanding those of others. She is however, a good friend who will always be a tutor when needed. She's also a highly skilled gamer.
Anais Ackerman:
Appearance: Short, wavy brown Hair, with streaks dyed a different color every week, medium toned skin, deep green eyes with glasses. Dresses in a casual nerd style.
Bio: (She/They/It) A brilliant chemist and child prodigy, Anais is undeniably one of the smartest kids in school. She has a great passion for science and discovery, which manifests itself as a great eccentricity whenever they conduct an experiment. It has a strained relationship with her parents, whose crushing expectations can give them great stress. Thankfully, her friends, like Eloise, always have it’s back.
I'm really proud to share these guys, so I hope you like them! Massive thanks to Sparky for helping with their bios! Leave your thoughts in the comments and reblogs!
