I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Doordash, Instacart, and similar services are disability services, and if you choose (because it is a choice) to become a delivery driver, you are expected to accommodate for a wide variety a needs, which (and I can’t believe I have to say this) includes entering apartment buildings and walking up stairs.
The customer is not obligated to accommodate you; you are obligated to accommodate them.

If you can, I am in need of funds to get my car, shown here, who I call “Red Robin”, out of the repo yard and fixed asap, as well as get some expenses paid off. I start my day job soon. Here is my story. My car caught a flat before thanksgiving last year while doing DoorDash. I took it to two different shops to try to get a new tire, but I was advised that I needed control arms and ball joints, and a second new tire, and that would run me around $2000 to repair and replace things. Outside of my seasonal day job in customer service and doing DoorDash, I also do Lyft, and the way my car is, I would not pass inspection. My Cashapp is $femaletrumpet02, my GoFundMe link is here. Thanks in advance.

if you are nice to people they will typically be nice to you. if you are mean to people they will not like you very much and also will sometimes be mean to you. this will make you sad and mad. if people are nice to you then you will feel happy and glad. when you are nice to people you will find fewer reasons to be very sad and very mad. follow for more wise life tips.

Thousands of drivers for ride-sharing platforms Uber, Lyft and food delivery app DoorDash will strike across the United States on Valentine’s Day seeking fair pay, drivers’ groups said on Monday. The strike call is the first since Uber and Lyft went public in 2019. Drivers will picket outside airports and Uber offices, two of the groups said.

F/O: S/I, what the fuck?
F/O: Meeeee!

I don't know who needs to hear this, but unless your library has a designated 'leave doordash orders here' area, or unless you are waiting outside the building to pick up your own damn food, you cannot order doordash to your fucking library. Because, guess what! A library front desk is not an acceptable place to leave a giant fucking food order! It's not convenient for us, it's not safe or sanitary for your food, and it places your doordash driver in an incredibly uncomfortable position! Do not fucking do this shit! I am part of an underfunded public institution and I will eat your fucking sandwich out of spite!

Quick Gig Economy PSA for Drivers
If you drive your vehicle as an independent contractor (e.g. UberEats etc), and you want to ballpark what you're earning net vs gross, use the IRS mileage rate of about 50 cents a mile. (oddly enough a similar rate of 50 cents a kilometer holds true in Canada)
So e.g. you drove 200 miles, the cost to you would be $100.
Subtract this from what you've earned over the course of those 200 miles and that's very roughly your net, which you can divide by the number of hours you've taken to drive those 200 miles to get your effective net hourly wage.
