Kash Patel, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for FBI director, has released a list of 60 “deep state” adversaries he plans to target immediately when he begins his role next year.
The list, which includes President Joe Biden and network analysts, is detailed in his 2022 book Government Gangsters.
In the book’s appendix, titled “Members of the Executive Branch Deep State,” Patel lists those names alphabetically but acknowledges that the list is not exhaustive.
Patel said other “corrupt actors” could include Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Senator-elect Adam Schiff (D-CA), ex-congressman Paul Ryan, author of the Trump-Russia Steele Dossier Christopher Steele.
Patel also reassures the public he will be going after “the entire fake news mafia press corp.”

New claims of plagiarism emerged Tuesday against Vice President Kamala Harris — with allegations including that she fabricated a story about sex trafficking and cribbed the work of other prosecutors, a judge and even Wikipedia to draft state reports on crime.
Harris, 60, seems to have invented details of a sex crime case out of whole cloth and taken sentences directly from published work by former California Attorney General Bill Lockyer as well as a New York jurist.
The new allegations were first reported by the Washington Free Beacon.
In a 2012 report on human trafficking Harris issued while California’s attorney general, she cited a fictional example of the type of call received by the National Human Trafficking Hotline as a bona fide case that had occurred.
The nonprofit in charge of the hotline, Polaris Project, had posted the exact same case details in June of that year as “representative of the types of calls” it received.
With different “names, locations, and other identifying information,” the example was “meant for informational purposes only,” according to an archived webpage reviewed by the Free Beacon.
But Harris copied the example verbatim into the state report, keeping the alias — “Kelly” — of the woman who was being trafficked but shifting the venue from Washington, D.C., to her native San Francisco.
The 2012 report also used a nearly identical paragraph to a Wikipedia entry on California’s Victim Compensation Board.
Another report put out in 2011, on organized crime the previous year, contained passages that were an exact match for portions of Lockyer’s report on the same subject six years earlier.
In 2014, Harris apparently stole from New York Court of Claims and Albany County Superior Court Judge Roger McDonough for a report on transnational gangs.
Recent polling has shown that Harris is seen as far more honest than her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, but the copycat claims — on top of earlier plagiarism allegations — is sure to test that public image.
The Trump campaign dubbed the veep a political “chameleon” in August, shortly after she clinched the Democratic nomination, for flip-flopping on her long-held liberal stances related to crime and immigration while embracing some of the 45th president’s proposed policies.
In April 2007, years before the purloined reports, Harris appeared before the House Judiciary Committee to lobby for passage of the John R. Justice Prosecutors and Defenders Incentive Act — a bill that would have helped local and state prosecutors and public defenders repay their law school and undergraduate loans while performing their public service.
More talented lawyers who opted for high pay at white-shoe firms would remain in the public sector if their debt was forgiven, the then-San Francisco DA argued, keeping more expertise in prosecutors and public defenders’ offices and helping to fill gaps in staffing.
Harris’ words in the April 24 hearing were nearly identical to testimony given two months prior by Republican Winnebago County, Ill., prosecutor Paul Logli, the Free Beacon also noted, citing the occurrence of the same statistics, punctuation and even typos in both written statements.
In total, the outlet said, 1,200 of the 1,500 words spoken by Harris (80%) were the same as those uttered by Logli.
Logli told The Post Tuesday that his testimony was prepared and written “largely” by staff from the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA), where he was then serving as president.
He said that Harris, who was a member of the association’s board of directors at the time, likely “also relied on NDAA staff support for her opening statement.”
“The similar content of our statements was an effort by NDAA to be entirely consistent in the positions we presented to both Houses of Congress on behalf of the 3,500 state and local prosecutors we represented on  a national level,” Logli said in an emailed statement. “Like me, I believe Ms. Harris simply relied on NDAA staff for much of the content of her opening statement before Congress.”
Manhattan Institute senior fellow Christopher Rufo revealed last week that portions of Harris’ 2009 pro-criminal justice reform book, “Smart on Crime,” had used identical wording to academic studies, press reports and even a Wikipedia entry — all of which predated the publication’s release.
Harris’ ghostwriter seemed unaware of the apparently plagiarized passages when contacted by The Post — but her publisher later signaled internally that the accusations were “a very sensitive topic” that was being handled by higher-ups.
“It was not the ghostwriter’s fault but, rather, this is a pattern,” Joshua Lisec, a New York Times bestselling ghostwriter, told The Post in a phone interview last week, saying he believed that Harris had probably “copied and pasted” other people’s work and sent it off to her ghostwriter without attribution.
“I don’t have inside access to their particular working relationship, but from the outside, my lens of the ghostwriting career and the profession, knowing how this goes, the ghostwriter probably had no idea that likely Kamala copied and pasted from somewhere on the internet or maybe her assistant did,” he said.
“She’s in trouble with everybody that she has effectively stolen [or] stolen from, or whoever did it, but she’s liable because her name is is on it,” Lisec said of Harris’ pilfering.
Harris’ ghostwriter, Joan O’C. Hamilton, he added, was “legitimate, experienced, successful as a ghostwriter and not the sort of person that you would expect engages with extremely low standards.”
South Dakota GOP Gov. Kristi Noem was widely viewed as a potential running mate pick for Trump before her own errors about a “meeting” with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un crept past a ghostwriter into her political memoir “No Going Back,” which was published in May.
The Harris campaign and Hamilton did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

ABOVE: Princess Grace and Prince Rainier of Monaco are offered a 4½ pound rainbow trout by Roy Hodges, of Hamilton, N.Y., at Philadelphia Travel and Vacation Show. Princess had hooked a fish in pool at the show, but it got away.
Princess Opens Travel Show
Throngs Hail Grace, Rainier
By DONALD A. McDONOUGH and LEONARD J. McADAMS
The Philadelphia Inquirer - April 20 1963.
The royal couple of Monaco Prince Rainier and Princess Grace, celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary here Friday with a day on the town and they enjoyed it as much as any couple that manages to get out of the house for a few hours without the children.
They received the cheers of thousands in a motorcade from City Hall to Convention Hall to formally open the Philadelphia Travel and Vacation Show.
Mayor James H. J. Tate gave them a print of Old Philadelphia, little girls gave Princess Grace flowers, and the entourage even did a little fishing in a pool in the basement of the hall.
Princess Grace hooked a big trout and lifted it halfway out of the pool when the fish - probably nearsighted - jumped off the hook.
But this was hardly the highlight of the day for the stately and gracious blonde from East Falls who became a princess. It came probably when the Prince publicly apologized in the Mayor's Reception Room for depriving Philadelphia "of your loveliest citizen.
Crowds had formed early at the northeast corner of City Hall awaiting the arrival of the royal couple for the city's official welcoming ceremonies.
By 10:30 A. M. some 1000 unofficial greeters were on hand. They cheered and clapped as Princess Grace stepped from the car accompanied by Prince Rainier, her mother, Mrs. John B. Kelly, Sr., and her brother, John B. Jr. The children, Prince Albert, 5, and Princess Caroline, 6, had been left at home.
City Representative Fredric R. Mann took the party in tow and led it via elevator to the second floor where an honor guard of police lined the hallway to the Mayor's office.
Princess Grace wore a two-piece red wool suit, designed by Philippe Venet, a flowered blouse, navy pumps and handbag and a blue hat. For jewelry there were a gold pin and gold earrings. As counterfoil, Prince Rainier wore a dark pin-striped suit with a white handkerchief in the breast pocket.
Mrs Kelly was clad in beige  with brown bag and shoes and a tigerskin hat. Mrs. Tate, who with her husband, Mayor Tate, greeted the party first in the Mayor's office, completed the fashion ensemble with a blue suit, yellow scarf and hat.
From the office, Mayor Tate and Princess Grace led a procession to the front of the Mayor's Reception Room. The party sat at the right of the speaker's stand flanked by flags of the United States and Monaco. Some 200 persons were in the room, including members of Philadelphia’s consular corps, judges, councilmen and city officials.
TATE EXTENDS WELCOME
Mayor Tate in his official greeting made note of the wedding anniversary and extended a welcome to Prince Rainier and his wife, "a native daughter."
In response, the Prince said "A little more than seven years ago I came here for the first time to your city. It was not as an official guest and it was not to attend any official function. For me it was much more important than that. I had decided to deprive you of your loveliest citizen.
"Having now been forgiven I hope, Mr. Mayor, we are proud and pleased for the warm and wonderful welcome we have received. In these moments the memory of a great Philadelphian, John B. Kelly, remains with us and he would be proud that his son, John, is following in his tradition.”
HEADS TRAVEL SHOW
John B. Kelly, Jr.. is head of the Philadelphia Travel and Vacation Show which will run through Sunday, April 28.
The "warm and wonderful welcome" continued as crowds lined a 12-car motorcade route down Broad St. to Walnut to 34th to Convention Hall. They clapped, they waved, they cheered and whistled.
At Convention Hall, Princess Grace, on the arm of Mayor Tate, made her way through a throng of some 300 persons on the steps to cut the blue ribbon formally opening the show.
CRUSH TAXES POLICE
Then the crowd surged around the royal couple and with flashbulbs popping and police attempting to open a way through the crush for a time it looked like a movie mob scene at an ancient Roman temple.
Ten minutes later they entered Convention Hall but still found difficulty in moving with throngs jammed in the five aisles along which the exhibition booths were lined.
The Princess was given a bouquet by Marcia Freedland, 6, of Philadelphia. Preceded. followed and flanked by photographers they made their way slowly along the booths, accepting samples here and there.
SALAMI FAUX PAS
One booth attendant handed them slices of salami. Some of the party started munching when Jack Kelly exclaimed: 'Oh, gosh, today's Friday. I forgot."
"It didn't count." Mayor Tate said. "They didn't think about it." The royal couple are Roman Catholics and a Church law forbids eating of meat on Fridays.
Several times spontaneous bursts of applause came from the crowds in the gallery.
Princess Grace remarked to her husband: "This is where they play professional basket ball."
POINT TO MURAL
At the Monaco exhibit, the royal couple pointed out points of interest on a large mural to Mayor and Mrs. Tate. Princess Grace said the mural had been made especially for the show.
"You are a very pretty girl," the Princess told Evelyn McCombs, 7, of York, Pa., who presented her with another bouquet.
At the fish pool downstairs the party tried its hand with hook and rod. The Princess and other women in the throng screamed when she hooked a trout, then screamed again when it threw the hook and flopped back into the pool.
"Do you give up, Gracie?" asked her brother, Jack.
"Yes, Jack, I give up," she replied.
The party then left for a 12:45 P.M. luncheon for the immediate family in the rare-book room of the University of Pennsylvania. University president Dr. Gaylord P. Harnwell and Mrs. Harnwell were hosts.

Along the lines of him wanting people to like him, he doesn't want people to see him cry.
Nerdytm
He's 43
As you know from the show he is a great singer, but i think he did choir and band as a kid. (Steve-a-dore really DOES have sweet pipes.)
Scince he's a zombie and has a hard time tasting things, he puts ungodly amounts of sugar on everything.

You described on Fansplaining how in the beginning you wrote stories each focused on one aspect of writing as practice. Can you say more about that? Was it systematic? Do you now have a recommended set of prompts/exercises for your students? I'd love to steal your method, if you don't mind. Loved the interview & that it brought me here!
sorry to take so long to reply! honestly i was too lazy to log into my teaching gdrive account and look at the structure of my class.
so when i went about trying to teach myself how to write, i only had a basic understanding of the elements of craft. i knew stories were made up of conflicts and characters. i knew about voice, person, tense, tone, setting, imagery, and things like that. so it was systematic in that i was only trying one thing at a time with the fics i was writing, but it was also a meandering path of trial and error. mostly error.
i set up my intro cw class very similarly to how i learned. each week is a craft lesson where i give a few readings, we have a discussion, and then i provide a writing prompt. the prompt for the big class assignment is “write your biggest risk” which students work on throughout the semester. i introduce it the first day and everything we do builds to the end game of writing the thing they are most afraid to write.
i can’t go over my entire class because most of my lesson plans involve group activities, but i can offer a few of my lesson plans with the readings and corresponding prompts. i can’t link to the readings but most of them are very googleable.
beliefs & techniques
this lesson is about beginning to reflect on your personal aesthetic, things that are important to you in creativity and art
readings
“beliefs & technique for modern prose” by jack kerouac
“shitty first drafts” by anne lamott
“the heart-work” by melissa febos
“on fear” by mary ruefle
prompt: What are your current beliefs about writing and being a writer? Your answer might take the shape of a numbered or bullet point list a la Kerouac, or any other spin you’d like to take on it.
narrators
here we discuss the way voice, tense, and person shape a story
readings
“debbieland” by aimee bender
“how to become a writer” by lorrie moore
“girl” by jamaica kincaid
prompts
fiction/cnf: Write your own “how to become a _____.” This could be your version of “how to become a(n undergraduate) writer” or maybe “how to be an accounting major” or “how to get a restraining order from Ed Sheeran.”
cnf/poetry: Write your own lyric essay in the style of Jamaica Kincaid’s “Girl.” Consider: in what ways have you been silenced? How have you been taught to perform against your instincts?
fiction: Write a story in first person plural, a la “Debbieland.”The key to this prompt is to utilize the first plural in a way that affects/develops theme. Consider: what reasons might we be compelled to think in unity?
urgency, stakes, & conflict
in this lesson we look at the way conflict is developed, how stakes are defined, and how urgency is managed
readings
“some of us had been threatening our friend colby” by donald barthleme
“accident, mass ave” by jill mcdonough
“the fourth state of matter” by joanne beard
prompts
CNF: Work on the beginning of a braided essay. Pick three stakes to explore. Start the essay by writing one paragraph about each, and go from there.
Fiction/CNF: Like the shooting in Beard’s piece, write a story about a (metaphorical) ticking time bomb.
Fiction/Poetry: Like Barthelme’s piece, write a story or poem where the stakes are distorted.
i also have an activity involving the game apples to apples so if you have it you can try this other prompt
Pick three red and one green Apples to Apples cards. Write a narrative or poem in which each red card represents a stake, character, or conflict in the story. The green card is your tone.
form & fairy tale
in this lesson we use fairy tale to consider the notion of form, and what it means to work within a given form or break it, and why. in discussion, we use bernheimer’s 4 elements of a fairy tale to dissect the other readings.
readings
“form is fairy tale; fairy tale is form” by kate bernheimer
“tiger palace” by kirsty logan
“the husband stitch” by carmen maria machado
prompt
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i have about a dozen other lesson plans but they are all far more complicated and interactive, but hopefully you can get a few ideas from this!

Biden stacking hi-level positions in admin with Muslims & terrorist-apologists (updated)
Scroll to end for updates.
If you have more to add to the list please leave a comment here or on our Gab post. Maher Bitar - Sr. Director for Intelligence on the NSC
'Palestinian' Muslim deeply involved in Trump’s first impeachment
As Rep. Adam Schiff’s top legal adviser, he was deeply involved in the first impeachment of then-US President Donald Trump.
Maher Bitar, one of the executive board members of Students for Justice in Palestine, was one of the principal organizers of the 2006 conference which was being hosted by Georgetown University’s SJP hate group.
Tumblr media
Reema Dodin - Deputy Director of White House Office of Legislative Affairs
'Palestinian' Muslim who justified suicide bombings
During the Second Intifada, in 2002, Dodin spoke about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict with residents of Lodi, California, saying that “suicide bombers were the last resort of a desperate people,” according to the Lodi News-Sentinel.
...as one of two deputy directors of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs, she will be in a position to keep track of proposed or impending or about-to-be-voted on legislation about Israel, Palestinian Authority, Hamas, Iran, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the whole Middle Eastern works. She will know which Congressmen are “on our [Palestinian] side,” who can be persuaded to move toward the Palestinian position, who supports Israel and cannot be moved; she’s in the perfect place to inform or warn her allies in the pro-Palestinian camp of what’s to come, and how best to promote or stop it.

Currently, Fazili is listed as Committee Chair of the Inner-City Muslim Action Network's (IMAN) Atlanta office, and she was previously listed as a director of IMAN's Chicago branch. Notably, two of IMAN's top 20 donors include the Barzinji Family Foundation and Mirza Family Foundation. These two organizations, in particular, are apparent successors to individuals and organizations associated with the SAAR Network, a web of businesses and charities accused of harboring numerous financial connections to entities involved with Al Qaeda, Hamas, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

More on Zeya:
Biden Pick for Human Rights Undersecretary Worked for Group That Claimed Jews Were Behind 9/11
Sean Durns, a research analyst at the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America, called the Washington Report a "fringe organization" that has "published content with anti-Semitic themes," including claims that the Mossad was behind the JFK assassination and the Sept. 11 attacks...
And on Zeya’s previous work:
"Ms. Zeya, a Muslim, will seek out Islamic groups seeking to work effectively within the American political system, and non-Muslim groups looking for authoritative speakers on Islam," reported the outlet. She published several book reviews in the Washington Report and was listed as "program coordinator for the American Educational Trust specializing in Islamic affairs" in March 1990.

Tumblr media
Denis McDonough - Secretary of Dept of Veterans Affairs (VA)
Islamic terror supporter
McDonough has a long history of openly supporting terrorists/jihadis while in public office.
The counter-terrorism policies and strategies created under his watch as Deputy National Security Advisor and Chief of Staff under President Obama demonstrate his overt support for individuals and entities who openly call for the overthrow of the U.S. government and the destruction of liberty and innocent life.
McDonough’s seditious and unlawful actions are unprecedented in their brazenness and blatant violation of his oath and the law.
For instance, as the Deputy National Security Advisor to President Obama, McDonough went to the Muslim Brotherhood’s mosque, the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) in Sterling, Virginia with senior U.S. leaders including FBI, DHS, NSC, etc to PRAISE its Imam.
The ADAMS Center Imam is Mohamed Magid, a Muslim Brotherhood leader.
See the video of McDonough’s speech at ADAMS HERE.  (By the way, Denis McDonough lied when he said Thomas Jefferson held “the first Iftar dinner at the White House”)

Hello!! I love reading your comics and all the excerpts of books you post about Grant and Sherman on your blog, and I was wondering if you had any recommendations on books to read to learn more about them and other generals/ the western theater in the civil war?? Thank you for all that you've already shared btw, I've learned so much from it!!
awww this is so great!! ah yes, the western theater! full of some really interesting stuff! I have so many books...but I’ll try to give you some of my top fav recommendations! And also thank you so much regarding my comics, that’s so nice of you to say ;___; I have fun with them!
For Grant and Sherman specifically, together, there is a fabulous book by Charles  Bracelton Flood called: Grant and Sherman: The Friendship That Won The Civil War (it is one of my FAV books, a bit of a minibio for the two of them but it really focuses in on their relationship which is....just SO MUCH GOODNESS)
For Grant specifically, you can’t go wrong with some of these books (btw I haven’t listed all my favs but these are some good places to start):
Grant’s Memoirs (just....amazing, I absolutely love them, Grant is a fantastic writer and the book has touches of his kind of dry humor which is A+)
Grant by Ron Chernow (this was my first Grant book and I loved it. It’s a little of 1,000 pages but it spans his whole life, which there was a lot going on)
Grant’s Final Victory by Charles Bracelton Flood (this is about the last year in Grant’s life when he is writing his memoirs and at the same time slowly dying of cancer and I will guarantee it will make you cry cause I know I did!)
Vicksburg: Grant’s Campaign That Broke the Confederacy by Donald L. Miller (this book is FANTASTIC, the Vicksburg campaign is my favorite and I think one of the greatest campaigns in US history. It’s long and kinda complicated and Miller does a fabulous job walking you through it cause there is a LOT going on)
My Dearest Julia which is a collection of letters written from Grant to Julia and they are JUST....delighful and really show you how much he adored her.
Ulysses S. Grant: Triumph over Advcersity, 1822-1865 by Brooks D. Simpson (another personal fav of mine, this focuses mainly on Grant’s early life and through the Civil War. Brooks has a great insight into Grant and he had a great sprinkle of humor in the pages)
Campaigning with Grant by Horace Porter (Porter was on Grant’s staff all through the Overland campaign, they actually met in Chattanooga, and they stayed pretty close after the war and I just....love it so much)
As for Sherman, here are some other ones:
Sherman’s Memoirs (which I haven’t read yet, I’m going to be buying them soon but I’ve heard they are very good. Sherman has a certain way that he writes which is very quotable. I believe @tipsywench has read them? Correct me if I’m wrong on that!)
William Tecumseh Sherman: In The Service of My Country by James Lee McDonough (I’m currently reading this now and am really enjoying it, I believe it touches on all aspects of his life)
Fierce Patriot by Robert L. O’Connell (not my fav book but I did really enjoy it and it shows all these different aspects to Sherman and his life that is very interesting)
Southern Storm: Sherman’s March to the Sea by Noah Andr Trudeau (this focuses specifically on the march to the sea, it does not involve his campaign to Atlanta. But it’s fantastic, I recommend all of Noah’s books. He’s got a great way of writing)
Citizen Sherman by Michael Fellman (this one I have on my desk to read but I’ve heard it’s very good!
As for other generals and just some general stuff on the western theater!
Battle Cry of Freedom by James McPherson (it’s a general Civil War book but McPherson just goes into some great detail...it’s long but! worth it!)
I have them in my cart but I’ve heard books by Timothy B Smith are fantastic. He’s written stuff about Forts Henry and Donelson (which Grant captured), Shiloh, and specific parts of the Vicksburg campaigns.
I have a book by William Glenn Robertson about the Chickamauga Campaign which I haven’t read yet but am very excited to get into it!
I don’t have any specific books on other generals but I’m sure you can find books about George H. Thomas, who got the nickname “The Rock of Chickamauga”, Phil Sheridan (who started out in the western theater), James B. McPherson (no relation to the author lol tho I don’t know if he does have a book...he died during the Atlanta campaign sadly), and a handful of others.
I also highly recommended reading Jeff Shaara’s books on the western theater, if you like the ones about the eastern theater! There are four of them and they cover Shiloh, Vicksburg, Chattanooga, and The March to the Sea. I love them and really like the way he writes them, specifically Grant and Sherman are A+, if they aren’t talking and smoking at the same time then what’s the point lol
Those books are called:  A Blaze of Glory, A Chain of Thunder, The Smoke at Dawn, and The Fateful Lightning

I’m bored. Here are my actor choices for a Fallout 4 movie.
I don’t think it’s everyone, but it still took me all day.
I tried to keep them in a rough order of appearance.
Also, I based Nate and Nora off of the games’ preset. However, if I were actually casting a movie, I would just have open auditions. But anyway, here we go.
Nate:
Tumblr media
Milo Ventimiglia
It was between him and Jensen Ackles. But honestly, I already had my Nora choice in my heart and I could just see Milo and her running to the vault in a panic together. If that’s not enough I saw Nate in him instantly. The widowed soldier desperately looking for his son in the annihilated future. Plagued with nightmares, but he would still stay warm and uplifting. Milo + Jumpsuit + Dogmeat = Yes, please.
Nora:
Tumblr media
Anne Hathaway
Anything I say about her won’t do her justice. First off, she’s easily one of the most talented actors of all time. From the Princess Diaries to Les Miserables, she has proved time and time again that she can be anyone she wants to. Could she be a full-of-life but grief ridden mother, making new friends and enemies while shooting her way through the Commonwealth to find her kidnapped child? In her fucking sleep. Plus her presence would be plenty strong enough to stand up to any of the rest of our star studded, “would-be” cast.
Codsworth & all the Mr. Handy bots(voice):
Tumblr media
Tim Curry
I just want to see it, I have no other excuse.
Conrad Kellogg:
Tumblr media
Christopher Meloni
I kept wanting to go with Jeffery Dean Morgan, but I just didn’t think I could learn to hate that face the way I hate Kellogg’s. But then once I thought of Christopher there was no other choice. He can do the voice and the terrifying, non-emotional thing with no issue. (His character seriously got to me in Handmaid’s Tale.) But he could also be relatable enough to actually feel for Kellogg while diving through his memories.
Preston Garvey:
Tumblr media
John Boyega
I had definitely forgotten about John when I was browsing through. My husband and I actually discussed him versus Donald Glover for awhile. In the end we decided that Boyega’s Preston would have a stronger stoic side as well as the fun loving friend. I think he would effortlessly display Preston’s disappointment in the Minutemen, as well as his survivor’s guilt.
Sturges:
Tumblr media
Chris Pratt
This part is way too small for Chris nowadays, but I really think he could fall into Sturges’ carefree 50’s mechanic vibe. Plus I could see him throwing in a new sarcastic side to him that could be fun. If not, then I think he would still take him on perfectly, line for line.
Mama Murphy:
Tumblr media
Helen Mirren
She’s powerful. She’s gorgeous. I would almost be afraid she would steal from anyone else on screen with her. And yet, it’s the surreal power that’s needed to make Mama Murphy a real life character. So there ya go.
Paladin Danse:
Tumblr media
John Krasinski
Have you seen him in Jack Ryan? I really think he could embody Danse, heart and soul. From his hardened and serious outsides to his soft, broken, and vulnerable insides. He would play the soldier with so much heart, and would probably have us sobbing when he struggles over his new identity. (Me being in love with both of them has absolutely nothing to do with it. Nothing at all.) Plus him in a flight suit. Nuff said.
Piper Wright:
Tumblr media
Kat Dennings
First off, she’s freaking gorgeous. Second, I think Piper’s fiery personality would fit her like a glove. Plus she would take on the role of Nat’s big sister perfectly. If you’ve seen her in Thor then you already know she makes an excellent side-kick and adds some great comic relief.
Mayor McDonough:
Tumblr media
Alec Baldwin
I jumped around a lot with this one. I even considered people like James Spader and Jack Nicholson (too old, I know). But then I remembered Alec’s ability to lay on the cheeeeeese. I have no doubt he could handle McDonough’s suspicious but seemingly normal character, and transitioning into his manic and desperate attempt to stay alive. Plus, he would nail his “I am not a synth!” speech, finding the perfect balance of creepy and welcoming.
Ellie Perkins:
Tumblr media
Ellie Kemper
She has an adorable, scrappy, and loving personality that glows every time she’s on screen. I don’t think I’ve seen her in anything serious, personally, but I bet she’d be up for the challenge. Especially to fill the role for someone cute and spunky like Ellie.
Nick Valentine:
Tumblr media
Liev Schreiber
I really, really struggled with this one. Obviously CGI and other special effects would have to happen no matter what, but whoever I chose still had to have those serious eyes, warm and friendly smile, and that old Boston gumshoe voice. Cue Liev. He’s probably a touch young, but if we’re already using CGI anyway so who cares.
Elder Arthur Maxson:
Tumblr media
Tom Hardy
I don’t even feel the need to explain myself here. Venom. That’s all I’ll say.
X6-88:
Tumblr media
Michael B. Jordan
As sweet as his smile is, I feel like the minute Jordan pulls on a stone cold look, blood would drain the face of whoever was playing opposite of him. However he would easily be able to add the oddly comforting touch X6 has when he watches over the Sole Survivor.
Desdemona:
Tumblr media
Laura Prepon
Her commanding and sexy vibe in everything she plays is absolutely perfect. At least for me. She’s a bit young, but I think it would be easy enough to age her up. She would naturally become the leader of the Railroad, and would totally scare the piss out of everyone in her way.
Deacon:
Tumblr media
Ryan Alosio
Yep, the man himself. He’s got the look, the charisma, and he can obviously do Deac’s iconic voice. Don’t fix what’s not broken. If you’re not convinced, watch this very impressive reel of his. Or do it anyway because DAMN. It was shameful how quickly I fell in love.
https://www.imdb.com/video/vi3911957785?ref_=nmvi_vi_imdb_1
Tinker Tom:
Tumblr media
Anthony Mackie
Tom has a whole lot of energy to keep up with. I pushed him off to one of the last ones I chose because he is just so unique, and I actually needed my husband’s opinion. We finally settled on the talented and energetic Anthony. He’s goofy, absolutely lovable, and would probably have way too much fun playing into the crazy conspiracy bits.
Father(Old Man Shaun):
Tumblr media
Gary Oldman
I feel bad not giving this brilliant actor a bigger role. His chameleon ability could land him almost anything here, but his soft but strong voice is literally perfect for Father’s. Just age him up a bit and he’ll melt into the role like with everything he doeswewse. He would make the reunion with Shaun 1000x more intense and emotional, and I could see him almost convincing all of us to join the Institute. I mean, it’s Gary fucking Oldman.
(Side Quest Characters)
John Hancock:
Tumblr media
James Franco
I actually couldn’t believe I hadn’t put this together before. I’m starting to wonder if Hancock was actually written for James. Super chill, but not scared to get shit done. Including taking care of Finn in the most casual and Godfather way possible within the first few moments of meeting him. Then afterward he would take some chems with Sole and talk about life for awhile. I’m totally okay with this idea.
Robert MacCready:
Tumblr media
James Marsden
I’ll be honest, I have never played with MacCready before. I had to watch some videos to get a feel for it but in the end I feel like I found a solid choice. I know he’s “pretty” but throw on some scruff, dirt, and a green cap and he’s there. Think Westworld.
Cait:
Tumblr media
Karen Gillan
Cait can kick my ass any day, and that’s how I feel about Karen. They are both just so breathtakingly badass. Any sole survivor would struggle to keep from lusting after her, and then caring deeply as they worked through her drug addiction.
Curie:
Tumblr media
Mélanie Laurent
Both Curie and Melanie are just innocently stunning and can light up a room with a smile. Curie would be especially difficult because not only is she gorgeous, but she’s almost always the smartest one in the room, but I think Melanie could do her justice.
---
So there is our very expensive cast list!
There’s a lot here that I feel on the fence about but this was still a lot of fun to do. I’m sure there are other actors that I have forgotten that could take on these characters too, so let me know what you would have done differently!
