Hello!!! This is a little random, but I just wanted to share with you that the Dollar Tree has a bunch of these really cute little Transformers figures as well as some cute little mini plushies (It's Oppy, Megan, and Bee)

based on every fan depiction i've ever seen i thought they were like. goblin size. they're nearly as tall as leshy.

no wonder magnificus put them in the forever box, if he ever actually taught them magic they would simply goomba stomp him on the spot to assert dominance as the larger mage. very cruel but that's just how nature works.

Barbie 3" Dollar Tree minis (Legend Toys)

I picked up these girls in Dollar Tree a few weeks ago with the intent to save them as an Easter treat for myself. It is now Good Friday, I have been through my entire to-do list, and I'm tired on a level that even a 3-biscuit pack from Crunchy Munchy Chicken could not cure. So it's time to open them!

These girlies are made by Legend Toys, which has a not-very-informative web site. It looks like they make licensed products for SpinMaster, Paramount, and Mattel, as well as their own blister-pack cars (probably competing with Matchbox). Legend's CEO, Scott Goodman, held various senior positions at Mattel.

Here come the little ladies!

They're delightfully detailed for their size. I guess I became jaded by the World's Smallest Barbies, which are much smaller and therefore less detailed.

Patterns don't continue onto the dolls' backs, but the colors and shapes stay consistent.

My favorite here is definitely the Black doll in the yellow sundress. Her hair! Her expression! Second up is the blonde curvy girl, who has a sweet face.

There are others I didn't buy. My general rule with Dollar Tree is that if I want to buy multiples of a product, I have a $5 limit, which at $1.25 means I get to pick no more than four.

Removing the dolls from their stands occurred to me, but it's not intuitively obvious how to do it. There is some sort of slotting mechanism, which implies a fleshy protrusion extending below the soles of their shoes.

Unsurprisingly, the girls are too big for the World's Smallest Malibu House. I knew that when I bought them.

At 3 inches, these dolls are 1:24 in scale, so they would look at home in something like the Blue Box Spanish-revival house that's furnished with Marx furniture. However, that house is already inhabited by Tweakies, who have a great low mortgage rate and no plans to sell.

I don't have any plans to give the girls identities or houses, as they cannot be posed in any way. They are intended as the equivalent of the big 28-inch Barbies for my toddler dolls. And they seem to work at that size!

also im pissed like. when did dollar tree's base price change from $1 to $1.25. like ummm........ and now there's an isle where everything in that isle is $3-$5 .... is this is not DOLLAR tree....

the contrast between elsbeth's tribe (nightsister... commoners? peasants? villagers?) fighting grievous vs talzin's clan (nightsister royalty) is so funny like.

elsbeth's clan: probably-Mother Selena dueling grievous with two fire sickles that melt/short out when hit by lightsabers (grievous didn't even split his arms! it's literally a leisurely spar for him). approximately three archers in the background. one single unit of B1s and B2s plus possibly a handful of commando droids. elsbeth hiding in a tree and falling out.

talzin's clan: Mother Talzin voodooing Dooku from the castle basement and then levitating in a giant electric sphere and zapping the entire droid army for like five minutes straight. Ventress dueling four-arms grievous for equally long. An entire army of archers casually force-speed/force-jumping over entire trees. Grievous' full fleet, a bomber squad, a unit of commando droids, magnaguards, state of the art experimental tanks, more regular tanks, and a full army of B1s/B2s. Daka long-distance-necromancing the entire clan and resurrecting every single dead nightsister in the entire region. Talzin finally not-surrending by turning herself into a force ghost and then promptly going to start a cult to revive herself/the dead nightsisters.
