Daddy let me fast today! I love fasting because when I am denied food I get extra needy and squirmy for Sir. Daddy controls what I eat everyday and told me I could only have one small snack today... two bone shaped dog treat biscuits. The biscuits were so bitter and dry and reminded me that I am a pathetic animal and that there is no task too humiliating or degrading for me to complete for Sir.

As Sir's disgusting fuckpig, I do not deserve to be fed human food and should live off of dog food flavored with Sir's piss, cum, and spit. I am so grateful to get to sleep on the floor tonight with a mostly empty stomach and the taste of dog treats in my mouth. Thank you so much for allowing me to fast today Daddy and for the privilege of eating my dog treats for dinner!

Maybe I'm wording this or thinking about it wrong, but I can't imagine ever not having a dog and I'm really struggling with that concept as somebody that's trying to be more vegan. My dog has been kind of vital to my mental health and beyond what they could theoretically do for me I just love dogs a lot. It is obv impossible to make a dog be vegan, so this is a real point of contention for me. I was wondering what your opinions are on this/if you have any advice or where to point me? Sorry if this is weird or if you've answered stuff like this before idk <3

Plant-based dog food does exist, and there are thousands of dogs on plant-based diets who do seem to be doing well. There has been some research to suggest it is safe in the long-term, but not enough for me to be able to recommend it. I always advise people to follow the advice of their vet, you can ask them about it, but if they recommend against it then you should listen to them.

Even putting all that aside though, many vegans take care of dogs, and they feed those dogs diets that include meat. By adopting a dog you have taken on the responsibility of looking after them, and you have a moral obligation to ensure a high standard of welfare as a part of that. If maintaining that welfare requires a meat-based diet, then that is what you should be providing them. There is really nothing un-vegan about that. If it makes you uncomfortable to buy and feed meat to your companion animal, there are plenty of herbivorous animals you can adopt who won't have those same needs. In the meantime though, assuming that your vet doesn't advise you otherwise, buying meat-based pet food may just be something you have to tolerate.
