I've had the idea of this image for some time in my head, ever since we found out that my puppet druid Amento is the second artificial version of the jester in the original Ravenloft court. He's been having a tough time trying to live up to his past lives, and the fact that h̸̳̜͛î̵̙̦́s̴̝̳̆̏ o̴̧̯͗̓ň̴̞l̴̙̥̓y̸̹̒̒ p̷̟̱̼̱͉̋̓̓͒̽u̷͎̎̏͑͆̀ř̴̺p̶̺̦̑̈̕o̸̘̿̃̈́͑s̵̹̥͕͕̊̃͊ȩ̵̢̻͍̥͒̂̄ is̶̢͈̱̟̾̿͝ to̶̠͋ k̵̞̥̥̀̍̕e̴͔̩͗̈͠e̴̠̬͍̜̊͊̽́̊p̵̧̛̀̽ Ir̸̟̖̳̗̦͌͒͠ȅ̴��̥e̴͍̽̿̓͐n̶̡̧̛̹̞̤͂͠a̶̧͔̪̻̮͒̈́̈́̎͑ h��̬̼͈͉̄̒͐̀a̴̛̝̳͔͌p̴̪͒͌p̸̛͇͕̽͗̽ỷ̸̢̖̚ is not helping. He has met both of his past versions, and both of them feel very uncanny to him, like that strange repulsion you get when hearing your own voice played back to you. 🌚

Talking about the voices, we had a part where our party heard their own voices reciting the prophecy back at them, and I love imagining how Amento thought that it sounded like the voices of his friends + Pidlwick, as it has never occurred to him that they share the same voice. ✨
