for a little bit of intersex positivity - on a discord server I’m in, they have cute little pride flag heart emojis, but I noticed that, since the emojis came from elsewhere and weren’t actually made by the people in the server, the intersex flag wasn’t included. When I pointed it out, so many artists on the server started drawing their own intersex heart emojis to add!! To my knowledge it was mainly perisex people drawing it too which was very sweet :3

Oh my god, that's amazing, are you serious?! That's so cute, if I could still access Discord, I'd totally be trying to join..

【🪲】 — Bugvalper/Valbugper; a term under the -valper term system (LINK), for those who feel like they can't be perceived as anything but a bug/bugs, or need to be perceived as a bug/bugs to feel valid.

【🪳】 NOTE — The definition of bugs generally centers towards insects, however, this can also be used for non-insect arthropods (as well as certain invertebrates) if so wished. This term is purely self-indulgent, and is against any harmful transitions or harm (either to others or to the self).

Hi! My name is Ottie, I'm the moderator/owner of this blog (inter-sex)

I love this blog a lot. I am so, so happy that I get to bring a bit of joy to the community; but I can't do it on my own. I'm just not really capable of thinking of all these things to cheer people up, y'know?

If just a few people could send in some asks, just about cheering the community up or happy experiences they've had regarding being intersex..it'd be a huge help for me.

i love how accepting and positive the intersex community can be! i sometimes don't feel like i should use the label/am really intersex, but seeing the amazing diversity of the community has really helped me develop a positive sense of self!

hey I'm not intersex but I have an intersex friend who I've shown some of your posts to. I appreciate the work you're doing to tell intersex people they're welcome and I'm sorry someone is trying to tell you you aren't. I promise they're wrong and you will have opportunities to surround yourself with people who treat you with the respect you deserve. hang in there
