Rambling about an old defunct Disney site

So like does anyone remember Disney Create? It shut downed in 2014 but it was essentially a social media for drawing and it had it's own drawing program. Similar to Animal Jam's I guess but you can pick different themes for what you want to draw with by clicking on a show you want.

So the Phineas and Ferb one will give you assets such as character stickers, backgrounds, and music from the show, Club Penguin is the same thing but with their own characters and etc. (Btw there was this "Got Milk" thing happening before but I never understood what it was)

But getting back to the art program, some of it's features were a decent amount of different brushes as well as ones like vines or snowflakes. But you can make your own brushes and stickers too. There was a feature to make comics too, and when you're done with the comic you can read it like a slideshow/video, no layer feature but what do you expect from a program made for kids.

I frankly remember being like 7 and was tracing bases but never posted them as well as recreating mlp characters in a pet creator.

Besides drawing there was a music video creator, and these pet creator things as far as I remember. The pet one is getting parts and coloring on them to make a pet you can interact with (dogs, cats, fish, birds, etc), and the music video one is using assests from a show to create a cool slide show, I made many Phineas and Ferb ones when the movie was coming out.

I can't say much about the social media part of the website because I never made an account, but when I did it was late into the site's lifespan and I don't remember anything nor know how social media works, think one of the features was saving your work.

The site to me was not a huge impact, I would've find another drawing site somewhere else but it was certainly convenient when I wanted to draw silly ponies. Kind of sad to see that only screenshots exists and it's just something people barely remember but you can access it through the way back machine but it needs flash so you can't draw in it.

Anyways here's some screen shots from google, I'm pretty sure some Warrior Cats fans liked using it but I can't find any for the pet and music video creator.

The toilet dog photo is the only thing I found of the pet creator but not the actual program itself and it was from someone's Wordpress blog but it gives you an idea how it works. Here's the link

alex hirsch was really just so pissed that no one saw his epic old man yaoi that he went and wrote a whole new book and made a whole website specifically to show meticulous evidence that this weird old man fucked a triangle.

he really said what were ford and bill really doing in that pocket dimension they shared, hm? did you ever think of that? oh - you think it was just chess? hm. interesting. i dont.

the ultimate rare pair shipper. i have never seen a creator do this before. absolutely fascinating at every angle.

The DCAs arms/hands keep breaking because of how much they move and do silly acrobatics, pairing that with some leftover water+fire damage, it is one of the things that Y/N has to repair often;

New compatible parts are hard to find + expensive (considering how old the DCAs model is), so Y/N normally has to go to old faztech electronic trash dumps to find something that might work, which is usually pieces of other similar-looking Attendants from some old FAZCO animatronic line. You really hope sun and moon don't know about this, or else things will get awkward

OMG IT HAPPENED??? 300 FOLLOWERS?? I know I’ve been joking about hitting it but I genuinely can’t believe it like: you all like my shenanigans? truly? That’s incredible.

It’s kind of awesome that I hit this on new year’s (for me at least) so let me just take a moment to thank everyone who’s been so cool and supportive. I’ve been having a ton of fun sharing my little projects and interacting with everyone 😭 This is my first time truly engaging in fandom because I’ve been too anxious and depressed previously—I’m so happy I finally started putting myself out there.

ANYWAYS, DONE WITH THE SAPPY STUFF NOW. It’s time for the thing you’re actually here for!! I’ve put a TON of work into it so I really hope people enjoy this silly little event.

Everend’s Cove: Moonlight Song

Every year, Arlo Wake’s hometown holds a Moonlight Festival—in honor of the connection between the moon and the ocean, and the deep ties it has to certain merfolk cultures. This festival is held in many parts of the Coral Sea, but is specifically popular in Everend Cove for its special tradition of holding a singing competition in honor of one of the town’s myths.

As the myth goes, a group of sirens once fell in love with a human boy—so much so that in a selfless act, they saved the boy’s friend from drowning, a young girl whom he was in love with. The competition honors the spirit of love and selflessness, and the nature of the sirens.

Much to Arlo’s horror, his siblings have signed him up for the Moonlight Song competition this year. There’s no way he’s going alone, though. If he has to sing, then he’s forcing some of his classmates to come with him—that way, the attention won’t be fully on him.

Dress Code:

Arlo Wake’s parents are skilled potion masters by trade, and they’ve devised a special, experimental potion this year to turn tourists into merfolk temporarily! It might have a few side effects, but they assure you—any harm the potion causes will be thoroughly compensated!

If you don’t want to risk the potion, there’s always some traditional attire the festival provides. Everend Cove is a joint merfolk and human town, based right around an island, so there’s plenty of things to do both on land and in the sea! The important part of the Moonlight Festival is that you are adorned with sparkling stones and crystals. The more glamorous and mesmerizing the outfit, the better!

If you don’t want to link your character to my oc, don’t worry about it! It’s not necessary to follow the event story, you can still have fun with the outfits and aesthetic if you want, I don’t mind at all!

If you WOULD like your oc to interact with Arlo, feel free! You have my permission.

You can draw/write for your own character OR a canon character, whatever you want <3 there are “official” participants, but this is all for fun, so it’s not necessary to stick to those.

Mickey creating the overblots theory

Okay, so idk if people have already talk of this theory before, if someone did, please tag me because I haven't see any-

TW : english isn't my first language so there will be some error, I don't remember too much of the game Epic Mickey so there may be some errors.

The theory :

We all know that, in Epic Mickey, Mickey go in another world with a mirror, right ? And that he play with a magic pen that create after something full of ink.

What if that other world was Twisted Wonderland ?

I mean, the mirrors are the same.

And the overblot, especially the phantom behind them, look like ink.

And we know that the mirror can let people change of worlds.

It's like that that Mickey go in the wizard workshop, take the pen and create the monster. And it's also that mirror that show to Yuu/MC the Sevens in the movies we know. So the mirror is connect with other worlds.

We can also see that the ink go to one place in the map/world that the wizard create.

What if that place was the NRC ? Or the Sage Island ? And this is why so much people overblot.

And, for stopping the overblot, Yuu/MC will have to find the magical pen and use it.

That was the theory that pop in my mind- idk if someone have already made it but yeah-

I love the idea of Mickey, coming in Twisted Wonderland, creating the Overblots, and letting someone from another world, Yuu/MC, dealing with it when Mickey is back in his own world.

And if Mickey is on our side, when he realize what he have (unintentionally) done, go back in Twisted Wonderland for helping us stopping the overblot.
