I haven't commented in a long time, but I have to say this. I was recently on the Disney Wiki and next to the article about Max Goof I found this Trivia where it says this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Huey, Dewey and Louie in House of Mouse are young adults?!
If so, then they should be a bit taller and be the same age as Max Goof, not still look the same height and sound the same as Donald (I know Tony Anselmo did their voices after Clarence Nash, but again no changes). I mean look at this:
Tumblr media
Mickey is taller than them by a few inches. So how can Huey, Dewey and Louie be young adults when they haven't visited Mickey or their Uncle Donald? Max Goof is known to be tall and most likely 18 at the time (something between A Goofy Movie and An Extreme Goofy Movie). I mean look at this picture:
Tumblr media
Max is known to be taller than Minnie and the rest of the Sensational Six characters except his father Goofy.
Let's face it, I love House of Mouse and enjoyed it a few years ago and I still think it was definitely a great Disney series with good crossovers from Disney movies but my gripe with that series is that almost everyone acts like assholes except for a few characters like are Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto, Goofy, Max, Ludwig and other characters from Disney movies that turned out great. Unfortunately this is especially true for my favorite characters like Donald and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie who turned out to be bad in that series. But I will dedicate this critique post to Donald's nephews. Still Donald had his good moments, but I can't say the same for Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie who turned out to be desperate.
Yes, I'm aware that they took the models for them from the Quack Pack, but whatever the Quack Pack was, they still did a thorough and better job of distinguishing Donald's nephews and they sounded like boys their own age thanks to the voice actresses who played them . The House of Mouse totally mixed them up so Louie became Huey, Dewey became Louie, and Huey became Dewey. And yes, they had their own band, the Quackstreet Band, which is fine, modeled after the 1990s Backstreet Boys, but the problem is that they had nothing to do but play. I also don't like how they sounded. I wonder why Russi Taylor didn't play them? I have nothing against Tony Anselmo, he remains a great actor, but I prefer him playing Donald and someone like him, rather than playing boys. Everyone says how badly Quack Pack did the triplets which I don't agree at all, House of Mouse did more. Of course too many characters so they can't all focus on each one individually, but certainly my point is that Huey, Dewey and Louie are not young adults as allegedly claimed in House of Mouse, and they are not teenagers either but as pre-teens as they were in Mickey Mouse Works. Certainly, in my opinion, one of the worst versions of Donald's nephews and I don't want them to sound like Donald at all, because even though they look like their uncle, they still have their own selves and their own specific speech. As much as I have complaints against Ducktales 2017 triplets, they still turned out better there than in House of Mouse and certainly remained in the memory of many, the version of triplets from House of Mouse not so much.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Certainly in my opinion the Quack Pack did a much better job with Donald's nephews and giving their personalities as well as their relationships with their uncle Donald which were on a high level, but it should have left Huey being Huey, Dewey being Dewey and Louie being Louie. If House of Mouse had taken them the right way with their different teenage voices it would have been much better, and there would certainly have been a focus on the relationships between Max Goof and Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, who certainly have some common personalities. That's my opinion, so I'm asking whoever works at Disney Wiki to change that Donald's nephews in House of Mouse are not young adults, but still boys entering the teenage period. Apologies to the others, but that's my opinion. I like House of Mouse, but I like Quack Pack Huey, Dewey and Louie much better than the rip-off House of Mouse version.
Tumblr media
P.S. Maybe one day I'll make my own version of House of Mouse where the Quack Pack version of Donald's nephews along with Max, P.J. and Bobby formed a music band and they would be peers and they would get along great. At least in my headcanon.

Mickey Mouse and his family as American Dad characters - Gift for my friend - Cosplay and crossover - Adult cartoons and Mouseverse
After a long time and a little rest from this summer heat, I am returning to my favorite hobby, so I drew a small challenge. I drew Mickey Mouse and his family playing the role of American Dad, a famous American sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, which is otherwise an adult cartoon series. Certainly entertaining in my opinion, although it has similarities to Family Guy (same creator).
Although it has passed, this is certainly dedicated to American Independence Day, which is celebrated on the 4th of July every year in the USA, so there is a USA flag behind them. But I redraw that poster in my own way and this is dedicated to my Discord friend who asked me to do this. Although I drew it a month ago, but forgot to post it here.
Mickey Mouse plays the role of Steve Smith who is a geeky college student who hangs out with Eega Beeva, who is an alien and plays the role of Roger (see the resemblance for yourself). Mickey's father is played believe it or not by the Phantom Blot who is usually the biggest rival and enemy in Mickey Mouse comics, while in this he plays the father of Stan Smith, a CIA agent who fights for his country USA, so he plays the positive. There's also his wife Lilly Mouse, who is OC from my friend and plays the role of Francine Smith, a mother of two. Amelia Felicity Fieldmouse plays Hayley Smith, Steven's older sister, as she is Mickey's older sister in the comics as well. Ace "Klaus Heisler" McNasty is played by Pluto the Dog, the family pet of Phantom Blot and Mickey Mouse. Strange, isn't it?
Of course this is dedicated to my friend @asritca who asked for this and owns this OC for Mickey and Felicity's mother. I hope you like it!
Happy belated US Independence Day and I hope you like this cosplay and this crossover, just don't use these same ideas and characters without Asritca and my permission. Thank you!

Mickey in the comics, especially in Floyd Gottfredson and in the Italian comics, is especially developed to have a real personality of his own and works great as a family man and as a detective. And he really can't be a boring character, he's even improved a lot. If American Disney would focus more on Mickey and friends and let real people work on cartoons and animated adaptations of Disney comics, people and children would know more that they can be very cool and interesting characters who go on actions and adventures and that they don't have to be just mascots and protective brand. Because Mickey isn't the only character to suffer from it. Again that's just my opinion. Certainly the comics about Mickey, especially about Detective Mickey (Mickey Mystery) are great.
One of my favorite things about getting into Disney Comics is seeing how different the fandom is about Mickey.
Animation fans talk about Mickey either as an ironic stand-in for Disney's corporate evil, or about their love for the Paul Rudish shorts, which I also love. But discussion does go either on how they're funny and charming or talk about the amazing animation. Maybe some fans of older stuff will bring up classic shorts or House of Mouse. But there's rarely a lot of discussion on Mickey's character.
Tumblr media
But comics will corner you and show their murder wall dedicated to keeping track of Mickey's lore, from family members, rogues gallery, best authors, best artists, best stories. And they can give some of the most well thought-out essays about how great Mickey is and how you should all love him. And I just find that wonderful.

Happy belated birthday Mortimer Mouse!
Although it has passed, I certainly have not forgotten this obscure character who is very much a part of Mickey and friends and a part of classic Disney and that he is, in addition to Pete and the Phantom Blot, Mickey's biggest rival and his name is Mortimer Mouse. Created by Walt Disney, it first appeared in a classic short called "Mickey's Rival" shown on June 20, 1936. Mainly as a rival against Mickey around Minnie and who constantly trolls against Mickey which Mickey especially annoys, still Mickey got the better of him and got Minnie. What Gladstone is to Donald, Mortimer is to Mickey. Mortimer is usually Minnie's ex-partner, an idiot, a charlatan, but a very big scoundrel who wants to ruin Mickey Mouse's reputation. After that, he appeared in comic books, Mickey Mouse Works, House of Mouse, Mickey Mouse Cartoons and other cartoons and comics. In the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse which I personally am not a fan of, Mortimer appears as a supervillain named "Megamort" and shoots a magical laser from his amazing fist (like Thanos) and does a Cha Cha moment that became a meme. However, this moment is especially funny. Yes, he is not a boring character and can be quite entertaining, if only used correctly. Now, as always, images of Mortimer from cartoons and comics from his first appearance to the present day.
Happy belated birthday to Mortimer Mouse who turns 88 this year and if you're a fan of the character feel free to like and reblog him.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse with their kids (their nephews and nieces) - Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas - Mouseverse - Gift for my friend
I know the Christmas holidays are long gone, but I did this last month on Deviantart, for a friend of mine who was celebrating her birthday then, so I'm posting it here too, even though it's over. Sorry!
I drew Mickey and Minnie Mouse based on Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas movie where they really looked like a loving couple. Still, it's nothing without children, so I added Mickey's nephews Morty and Ferdie Fieldmouse (Morty is in a red hoodie jacket, while Ferdie is in a blue hoodie jacket) as well as Minnie's nieces Millie and Melody (Millie is in a purple outfit, while Melody is in some green - blue clothes). Yes, Milie and Melody appeared in Minnie's Bow Toons (although I personally don't like such baby series, it's still good that Minnie got her nieces, otherwise she has them, but only one in the comics), while Morty and Ferdie appeared in the classic shorts and in comics, though not as often. I wish somehow they appeared a little more often with Mickey and Minnie Mouse and more people knew about the Mickey Mouse comics where he has more personality than he does in the cartoons. Especially since Steamboat Willie came out as public domain.
Of course, I drew in my own ways, using inspiration from other drawings. Yes, and I drew both Mickey's nephews and Minnie's nieces as preteens and based on the comics, as if they were wearing a modern version of the clothes.  This year is also the 25th anniversary of Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas and the 90th anniversary of the first animated appearance of Morty and Ferdie in the classic short "Mickey's Steam-Roller", although they first appeared in the 1932 comic "Mickey's Nephews". Once again, I wish you a late Christmas and a happy New Year 2024! And this is a belated gift for my friend, @harmony-bunny , whom I dedicated to her as a gift since she is a big fan of this couple.
I hope you like this gift of mine, and that you like this drawing too.
Happy Holidays and Happy Belated Valentine's Day! Feel free to like and reblog this if you like it!

A take on Miss Bianca from the rescuers
One of my favorite Disney Ladies for sure!
I made the hat/ears and shawl for a casual cosplay. But this is reminiscent of miss.Kitty from great mouse detective, also a white feminine anthropomorphic Disney mouse. The designs were screaming to be combined
If you want a sticker of her come find me on Saturday night of ACEN!

I would advise you to read the Floyd Gottfredson comics, because there Mickey is a really badass character. And there are a lot of Italian comics too, although the Detective Mickey and Mickey Mystery comics as well as the Giorgio Cavazzano comics are really great. Much better than the Mickey cartoons.
Also this:
Hey you all, since I've been getting into Disney Comics and some fans have followed me, could you all recommend me some Mickey Mouse creators?
I know that when you comes to the Ducks, Barks and Rosa are the way to go. But when it comes to Mickey I only really heard that Mickey Mystery Magazine rules. So if you all could recommend me some of your favorite creators and stories with Mickey in it, I appreciate it a lot.
