for the last three weeks, all three of my cats have been fighting a URI which has gradually gotten worse. Pangur and Belphie have managed to get by with one vet visit each, and are improving with medication, but Grim has pre-existing asthma, and so she has done........less well, with multiple vet trips, including one midnight drive to the emergency clinic. altogether, this has added up to roughly $2.5k (receipts beneath the cut).

Had a dream I was playing an FF7 game but the dream was in 1st person POV and I was “playing” as Zack. I found Sephiroth on top of a building, and a moogle selling items too. Sephiroth breaks into a deep-sounding speech and I was like “oh it’s a cutscene” but I could still move. So I start walking towards the moogle to quietly buy stuff while Sephiroth is evil villain speech-ing. As soon as I approach the moogle, Sephiroth turns around and starts rushing at me.

I yell in a panic and from a feeling of betrayal over an unspoken rule, “VILLAINS AREN’T SUPPOSED TO KILL DURING THEIR OWN SPEECHES”

So anyways, he impales me and the game over screen and music took over and I sighed as I selected to try again.

Hey internet etiquette question for y'all

If I want to make a plushie inspired by art I've seen, and it is not for commercial use, I'm not selling it or sharing the pattern, should I still contact the artist first? Or just tag them in the post with the finished plushie and link back to the specific art I based it on? (or reblog their post with the photo of the plushie?) If you were the artist, which would you prefer? Or would you prefer something else? edited to add: I did used to always message the artist first but then sometimes by the time they responded I'd have moved on to the next thing and then I'd feel bad for not making their plushie? It's completely understandable for them to not reply to messages immediately, I also don't always respond quickly, I just felt guilty for not making their plushies after I'd asked about it and it stopped me sewing plushies based on art entirely for a while

anybody else have an online order tell you there was an error, but then the payment and order went through a second later and reads as confirmed in your account (with wherever you're ordering from) but the items still appear in your cart and it asks the next day if you want to complete your order? like, my Route app says I have an order on the way but the place I put the order in had both 1) the order in my account and 2) the items I already ordered still in my cart. am I actually going to get my order or will I need to contact support 😭

The server I mentioned is my kofi membership server, so nope it isn't free a server. I used to have a public server wayyy back in the days, but I really could not focus on running multiple servers. So I now only have the kofi one.

CLAMP exhibition goodies came in the mail today! preordered as much as i could reasonably afford at the time but there was still quite a bit i wanted but didn't get lol. very happy with the midnight chocolate cake? mug. the blind bags are reused art which i usually don't reach for but the art is incredible and they had a BIG range for characters and illustrations for them so i was rly hoping for a lot of variety. they're rly high quality and cute but i got a dupe within 5 pulls and didn't get a single meki (or other character for that matter 😭) which is a shame cause non watanuki or yuuko characters tend to get fuckall and the resale market for holic goods is a bit fucked cause most of it is limited edition from events and stuff. if i see anyone selling them cheap later i want to acquire lots of mekis and to acquire merch of more characters in general tbh but that's a financial task for later. anyway themmmmmm ~
