do you have any good places to look for plus sized gothic finery? im sooooooo sick of only being able to fit into killstar stuff hahaha. have a lil ghostie pal 👻!

I only know of stuff for femme-presenting folks, so if you're looking for items on the more masculine side, I won't be much help.

That said! The key to plus-size gothic finery is ACCESSORIES. Even a plain black dress can be made Very Fancy Indeed with a lace shawl or overdress, shawls tied around the waist, really big belts, and as much jewelry as you can wear without fear of collapse.

Another good option is to always ALWAYS look at "normal" plus size retailers, such as Torrid, Lane Bryant, etc., especially around the holidays. Sign up for discount codes (and then unsubscribe as soon as you've used them), and then mix, combine, and layer things to your little black heart's content.

(The above is what we plus sized goths did before speciality retailers started catering to us. I have stretch velvet dresses from Lane Bryant that I purchased over 20 years ago, and they're still rotated in and out of my wardrobe.)

Don't get trapped into the mindset of looking for specifically "goth" items - look for things that can become goth if you style them that way.
