Dipotassium EDTA Prices | Pricing | Trend | News | Database | Chart | Forecast
Dipotassium EDTA prices or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid dipotassium salt, is a commonly used chelating agent in various industries, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. The price of Dipotassium EDTA is influenced by several factors, which vary depending on market demand, raw material costs, regulatory compliance, production processes, and global trade dynamics. In recent years, the pricing trends of this chemical have become a subject of interest for manufacturers and consumers alike, as fluctuations in costs impact production expenses across several sectors.
One of the primary factors driving the price of Dipotassium EDTA is the cost of raw materials, particularly ethylenediamine and potassium hydroxide. These ingredients are essential in the synthesis of the compound and their market prices have a direct effect on the overall cost of Dipotassium EDTA. Any disruptions in the supply chain or increases in the price of raw materials, often due to environmental regulations or political instability, can push the price of Dipotassium EDTA upwards. Additionally, the global supply chain, including the cost of transportation and logistics, plays a crucial role. Rising fuel prices and increased shipping costs can inflate the final price of the chemical as suppliers transfer these additional expenses to their customers.

The demand for Dipotassium EDTA within the cosmetics and personal care industry has grown substantially over the past few years. This demand growth stems from the increasing use of Dipotassium EDTA in skincare, haircare, and cosmetic products due to its ability to neutralize metal ions, which helps stabilize formulations and enhance product shelf life. As consumer preferences continue to shift towards products with more stable, safer, and longer-lasting formulations, the need for chelating agents like Dipotassium EDTA has surged. This upward pressure on demand often results in an increase in market prices. Companies involved in manufacturing cosmetics are continuously assessing the cost of raw materials, and any price increase in chelating agents can affect product pricing, profit margins, and overall industry dynamics.
Another significant influence on Dipotassium EDTA prices is the regulatory environment. Different regions enforce varying degrees of regulation on the production and use of chemicals, particularly those that have potential environmental or health impacts. In some countries, stringent environmental laws that regulate emissions and chemical waste management may increase the cost of production. For instance, companies operating in countries with strict environmental protection laws may need to invest in advanced technology and processes to meet these regulations, which can increase production costs and, in turn, raise the price of Dipotassium EDTA. Furthermore, regulatory changes regarding the permitted use of such chemicals in consumer products may impact demand, creating fluctuations in price.
In addition to regulatory factors, the price of Dipotassium EDTA is influenced by technological advancements in production processes. The efficiency and scale at which this chemical can be produced play a significant role in determining its price. Advances in manufacturing technology that enhance production efficiency can lead to lower production costs, allowing suppliers to offer Dipotassium EDTA at more competitive prices. Conversely, older or less efficient production methods may result in higher costs and therefore higher market prices. Manufacturers that invest in modernizing their production facilities often benefit from economies of scale, which can positively impact the overall pricing structure of Dipotassium EDTA in the market.
On the global trade front, tariffs, import duties, and geopolitical tensions can influence the price of Dipotassium EDTA. The chemical industry is highly globalized, with production and supply chains spread across different continents. Tariffs and trade restrictions imposed by governments can increase the cost of imported raw materials or finished products, which subsequently raises the price of Dipotassium EDTA in affected markets. Moreover, geopolitical tensions that disrupt trade routes or international relations may lead to supply shortages, further exacerbating price fluctuations. Global trade agreements and partnerships are therefore critical in maintaining stable prices for Dipotassium EDTA and other chemical products.
The impact of environmental concerns and sustainability initiatives cannot be overlooked when considering Dipotassium EDTA pricing trends. As more companies strive to adopt sustainable practices, there is growing pressure to source environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional chemicals. While Dipotassium EDTA is widely used due to its efficacy and cost-effectiveness, there is a growing interest in developing greener alternatives. The rise of eco-friendly products, especially in the cosmetics and food industries, may eventually influence the demand for Dipotassium EDTA, leading to shifts in pricing. However, at present, the cost of researching and developing alternative chelating agents may keep the price of Dipotassium EDTA relatively stable in the short to medium term, as it remains a reliable and well-established option.
Market competition also plays a role in shaping Dipotassium EDTA prices. The chemical industry is characterized by the presence of multiple manufacturers and suppliers, each vying for a share of the market. Increased competition can lead to price wars, driving prices down as companies attempt to undercut each other. On the other hand, the consolidation of industry players through mergers and acquisitions may reduce competition, potentially leading to higher prices. The dynamics of supply and demand, coupled with market competition, contribute to the overall pricing structure of Dipotassium EDTA in both domestic and international markets.
The long-term outlook for Dipotassium EDTA prices will likely continue to be shaped by these factors, with potential fluctuations occurring as a result of global economic conditions, technological innovations, regulatory changes, and shifts in consumer preferences. Businesses that rely on Dipotassium EDTA for their products and processes must remain vigilant in monitoring these variables to ensure that they can manage costs effectively. As the market for chelating agents continues to evolve, staying informed about price trends and market conditions will be key to maintaining a competitive edge. While the price of Dipotassium EDTA may experience volatility, it remains a critical component across multiple industries, ensuring its continued relevance in the global market for the foreseeable future.

The Dipotassium EDTA Prices CFR in New York decreased from January to March 2023 as a result of the prolonged market volatility in the USA. Dipotassium EDTA imports from China were capped during the first week of January due to the country's Golden Week. Domestic providers were able to meet the total demand thanks to their large stocks, and offtakes in the end-user industries were stable throughout the quarter. Due to weather issues, Russia's turmoil in Ukraine, and China's Covid lockdowns, supply chains were dangerous for the majority of the quarter. However, when the economy started to expand in the second part of the year, there was a steady improvement, and the ports experienced a considerable decline in ship backlogs following a protracted port backlog.

Review of COSRX’s Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50+ PA+++
COSRX is a Korean brand committed to creating products that address different skin issues. COS stands for cosmetics and RX stands for prescription, each product has the feel of being prescribed by a dermatologist but at reasonable prices. Their Aloe Soothing Sun Cream is designed to not only improve the skin's moisture barrier but also to protect skin against UVA and UVB rays. Key ingredients include 55,000ppm of candelabra aloe leaf extract (anti-inflammatory, soothing, can be used on burns, hydrating), phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid (chemical sunscreen; filters UVB rays, gentle on skin, ideal for swimming), titanium dioxide (physical sunscreen; protects the skin from UVA/UVB radiation, gentle, good for sensitive and acne-prone skin), dipotassium glycyrrhizate (helps to reduce dry skin, restores skins suppleness, soothing, anti-inflammatory) and tocopheryl acetate (antioxidant, prevents skin damage from UV rays, anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, wound healing). This product retails for between $12-16 USD, you can get it here for $12.80 + shipping. You can use code DANNIEL15 to save some money.
Ingredients
Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Isoamyl p-Methoxycinnamate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Alcohol, Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate, Titanium Dioxide, C14-22 Alcohols, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-100 Stearate, Triethanolamine, Silica, Sodium Hydroxide, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Aluminum Hydroxide, Stearic Acid, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Aloe Arborescens (Candelabra Aloe) Leaf Extract (55,000ppm), Carbomer, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Xanthan Gum, Tocopheryl Acetate, Disodium EDTA, Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, Geraniol, Benzyl Alcohol, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral
This sunscreen contains 50 ml (1.69 oz) and has a noticeable aloe scent.
The sunscreen has a thicker consistency and looks more like a mineral sunscreen.
The texture of the cream is very nice, it's light and creamy.
The finish is very dewy and luminous and due to it being a hybrid, it does a good job of evening out the skin tone.
There is some flashback as there are mineral filters in this product, so it may really stand out if you have darker skin.
Recommended use is to apply a generous amount over the face 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply throughout the day as needed, especially during prolonged sun exposure. This product is cruelty-free, pH-balanced, and has no artificial colors. After using, I've been trying to test out more sunscreens this year and while this one has been out for a while now, it's still super impressive. It's great to just use in place of a moisturizer as it's very hydrating and leaves a healthy and luminous finish on the skin. If you're looking for something that gives a natural healthy finish, this one really does it. It also does a great job of toning down redness and providing long-lasting moisture. One of the downsides is that it's only PA+++ and doesn't have higher protection. However, that's really the only really big downside and honestly just applying it very consistently will provide great protection. This product does contain fragrance and has several fragrance-based irritants. Also, as it's a hybrid formula it is prone to causing some flashback. This is suggested for sensitive skin, which I do typically have and I didn't notice any irritation, but due to the fragrance, I'm sure this will be one to avoid if that causes you any problems. It's also very safe around the eyes and doesn't cause any irritation there. I'd recommend this to anyone with dry and dehydrated skin and to people with sensitive skin but at your own discretion.
What I like: this sunscreen is very hydrating and moisturizing and while it does have mineral filters, it doesn't leave white patches on the skin. I do personally like the aloe scent and I love the healthy, dewy finish it gives my skin. It also tones down redness and for me, I didn't notice any irritation on my skin or around my eyes. What I don't like: I really do wish this sunscreen had higher protection and the fragrance could really be irritating depending on your skin and preference.
Pros:
Hydrating
Moisturizing
Tones down redness
Gentle
Sensitive skin friendly
Leaves a healthy finish
Nice ingredients
Wears well under makeup
Cons:
Wish it had higher protection
Causes some flashback
Has fragrance
Would I buy again?
Yes
Rating: 9/10

Review of Purito’s Fermented Complex 94 Boosting Essence
I purchased this product on YesStyle back in March because I wanted to try out an essence for the first time
About the Product:
The prices varies; it’s about $15 for 5.07 fl oz/ 150 ml
The product claims to deeply moisturize, brighten dull skin, balance oils, and to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
It has a complex of 94% fermented ingredients which are said to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, while also being hydrating. The 3% niacinamide aids in brightening the skin and balancing oils. There are also several botanical extracts such as green tea, sacred lotus, and mistletoe which provide hydration and antioxidant benefits.
How I Use it:
I like to use this essence twice a day. Once in the morning and then in the evening. I enjoy layering this product as well. I pour a couple drops (about 6) onto my palm spread it and then pat it into my face and neck. I wait for it to absorb and repeat twice more. It has a thick, fluid consistency and absorbs quickly into the skin. It doesn’t have a scent. It feels very hydrating and it helps my next products penetrate deeper into my skin.
Pros
affordable
hydrating
brightening
lightweight
great for layering
easy to pair with other products
doesn’t pill
lasts a long time
fragrance free
“clean” product
sensitive skin friendly
any skin type can use it
Cons
I finished my bottle :(
Overall this is a great product. It isn’t necessary, but I enjoy using it very much. It’s a simple, hydrating toner that’ll help you get healthy skin. I love it and I just ordered my second bottle.

Fortunately, I saw some instructions and found out that it is indeed a weird product. Here’s how you use it: First, you shouldn’t shake the bottle, if so, don’t use it yet. Second, let the pinkish particles subside before using it. Third, scoop out some of the pinkish parts with the use of a cotton bud. And lastly, apply it onto the skin (to pimples, etc.), and let it sit overnight. And when you wake up, tadaahhh! Your pimples are now dry! It immediately works with small zits, and it takes longer to have an effect on bigger ones. This is one of my holy grails (the other is the pimple patch) when I have bumps sitting on my face. Murad Rapid Age Spot And Pigment Lightening Serum
Price: $65
Claims: Fast-acting treatment featuring Hydroquinone fades dark spots, age spots, and freckles. Our skin-lightening serum also evens out skin tone to reveal a clearer, brighter complexion while helping prevent future pigment formation.
Our Hydroquinone serum is suggested for people looking to:
Fade age spots
Lighten dark spots
Even skin tone
Obtain smoother skin
Patented formula combines the most powerful skin lightening ingredient at the highest level available without a prescription with a targeted skin-brightening blend to correct unwanted discoloration and protect against future damage.
Ingredients:
Hydroquinone: A controversial skin whitening agent added to many topical brightening creams. Hydroquinone decreases the formation of melanin, the pigment that gives skin a brown or olive color. It's used topically to lighten areas of darkened skin such as freckles, age spots, chloasma, and melasma. It should not be used on any skin that is dry or damaged (including wind chapped, sunburnt, or irritated) and can actually make skin more sensitive to UV exposure. It should not be applied before going into the sun or after sun exposure.
Water: Primarily used as a solvent in cosmetics and personal care products in which it dissolves many of the ingredients that impart skin benefits, such as conditioning agents and cleansing agents.
Alcohol Denat: Helps visibly tighten pores and control excess oil. It acts as an anti-foaming agent, astringent, antimicrobial agent, and a solvent. It also helps deliver the active ingredients of a product. Almost every type of skincare product lists it as an ingredient, particularly those specifically designed to treat acne.
Glycolic Acid: An alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) used to help maintain natural pH levels and gently exfoliate surface skin cells.
Butylene Glycol: Commonly-used ingredient that has multiple functions in cosmetics, including as a texture enhancer. It’s similar to propylene glycol, but has a lighter texture.
Glycerin: A naturally occurring ingredient (also synthetically made) that balances the water levels in skin to facilitate moisture. Helps to retain water to lock in moisture.
Methyl Gluceth-10: Very effective humectant & emollient. Enhances spreadability of products and helps prevent water-loss from the skin. Can significantly reduce skin irritation associated with any anionic and amphoteric surfactants. Excellent emollient properties providing a smooth & gentle skin feel. Has also thickening & emulsifying properties.
Dextran: Polysaccharide that has water-binding properties for skin.
Hexapeptide-2: Has lightening properties but it does double duty by helping to prevent future damage by stopping pigment formation.
Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice: Extracted from the leaves of the aloe plant; used as a skin softener, anti-irritant, and moisture replenisher.
Urea: Used for water binding and moisturizing properties.
Yeast Amino Acids: Antioxidant, Moisturizing and Soothing.
Trehalose: A moisture-binding sugar molecule that helps plants survive long periods without water; used to protect skin against moisture loss.
Inositol: A nutrient in the Vitamin B complex plays an important part in the health of cell membranes, regulates the contents of the cells, making effective functioning possible.
Taurine: Helps to maintain skin hydration.
Betaine: Contains a moisturizing amino acid derived from beets.
Zinc Gluconate: A biocide or deodorant agent, possible acne treatment. Also thought to speed wound healing and prevent scarring by assisting the body in processing essential fatty acids used by the skin for healing.
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C): A powerful antioxidant with many anti-aging benefits such as building collagen, defending the skin against free-radicals, healing inflammation, reducing the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, and lightening discolorations. A relatively new derivative of Vitamin C, it’s preferred by many for having superior stability and effectiveness. It’s particularly lauded for reducing melanin production- the culprit behind age spots, Melasma and hyper-pigmentation. It’s also been shown to be more effective than water soluble Vitamin E in protecting against hydroxyl free radicals.
Chitosan: The ascorbic acid (vitamin C) salt of chitosan- a polysaccharide derived from the outer skeleton of crustaceans. Primarily functions as an antioxidant, skin conditioner and film-forming agent. As a stabilized form of Vitamin C, it offers the anti-oxidant and anti-aging properties of ascorbic acid.
Propyl Gallate: A preservative. Added to food and skin care products containing oils and fats to prevent oxidation. If oxidation occurs, it can result in rancidity, color changes, viscosity changes and deterioration of active ingredients in formulas, negating their effectiveness.
Lecithin: An emulsifying agent that penetrates the skin.
Tocopherol (Vitamin E): Used as an antioxidant and skin conditioner.
Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: Form of vitamin C that is considered stable and is an effective antioxidant for skin. Increases skin’s hydration levels as well as being effective for calming
Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (Licorice): Used as a whitener, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and moisturizer. Helps control oil production, and helps calm and soothe acne-prone skin. It can be used to reduce dark age spots and whiten skin.
Palmitoyl Hydroxypropyltrimonium Amylopectin/Glycerin Crosspolymer: It is noted as an emollient and skin conditioning agent, used to act as a lubricant on the skin's surface and give the skin a soft and smooth appearance.
Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract: An antioxidant that helps fight damaging free radicals that can cause premature signs of aging.
Allantoin: Highly regarded for its skin soothing, healing and keratolytic (ability to remove excess skin) properties. It helps shed the outer layer of the epidermis and promotes healthy tissue formation. It also softens the skin and enables it to absorb more moisture. It’s particularly effective at treating wounds, burns, skin ulcers, eczema, and any other abrasion in the skin.
Polyquaternium-10: Conditioning, moisturizing, anti-static agent. A water soluble, white granulated powder. It is also considered a film former, supplying a sheen and coating to hair strands by easily being absorbed by proteins.
Sodium Metabisulfite: An inorganic salt used as a disinfectant and preservative agent. It is also considered a reducing agent that donates hydrogen molecules to other substances. Sometimes function as an antioxidant, preventing or slowing deterioration of formulas caused by chemical reactions with oxygen.
Sodium Sulfite: Reducing agent that alters the structure of hair. It can also be used as a preservative, and can be a skin sensitizer.
Sodium Hydroxide: An inorganic compound used to control the pH levels or serve as a buffering agent. Has the ability to dissolve grease, oils, fats and protein based deposits. Considered a strong irritant.
PPG-26-Buteth-26: An alcohol-based conditioning agent and surfactant. Ability to restore the appearance of dry, damaged skin and hair by reducing flaking and improving suppleness. It is primarily considered an emulsifying agent with conditioning properties, but is also used as a fragrance ingredient and surfactant.
PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil: The weight and size of this ingredient is too large to penetrate beyond skin’s surface, but that’s fine—this type of emollient is needed on the surface to stop moisture loss and keep skin feeling soft.
Hydroxyethylcellulose: A plant-derived amino acid used as a preservative, emulsifier, binder and thickener. It’s a water-soluble polymer that provides colloid protection and can be thickened or thinned. It is not beneficial in itself to the skin, but is a widely used ingredient because of its ability to serve many purposes.
Disodium EDTA: Used as a chelating, meaning it prevents ingredients in a formula from binding with trace elements (mainly minerals) that can be present in water.
Limonene: Colorless liquid with a light, fresh, and sweet citrus odor used to make fragrances and flavors. It is naturally occurring substance found in many citrus fruits.
Linalool: Fragrant component of lavender and coriander that can be a potent skin sensitizer. Colorless liquid with a soft, sweet odor.
My Thoughts: Halfway through the Murad Environmental Shield Cleanser, Toner, and Moisturizer I discovered Murad Rapid Age Spot And Pigment Lightening Serum. I really wanted it because Murad products have been doing miracles for my skin. But I really didn’t want to spend that much on a skincare product. When my mom took me took the military store I quickly grabbed it since it was cheaper there because she doesn’t pay taxes.
Murad Rapid Age Spot And Pigment Lightening Serum comes in a clear glass bottle with a pump. I use it once a day normally in the morning before moisturizing. I don’t use this as a spot treatment I just spread it evenly on my face. A little goes a long way I can use 1 pump for my face, 2 pumps for face and neck. 3 pumps is way too much and takes forever to dry. It has a gel like serum that is a little on the sticky side. But once the serum it is fully absorb into the skin its no longer sticky. I did not like the serum smell it reminded me of hand sanitizer.
Even though I didn’t pay for this I am still pissed off that my mom paid so much for something that doesn’t even remotely work for my skin. I was patience with this serum, I tried it with the Murad Environmental Shield Cleanser, Toner, and Moisturizer and I saw no results. I tried it without and still nothing. Murad Rapid Age Spot And Pigment Lightening Serum doesn’t fade age spots, doesn’t lighten dark spots, or even skintone or smooths the skin.
Would I recommend or purchase Murad Rapid Age Spot And Pigment Lightening Serum again, absolutely not, it did nothing for me and extremely expensive.
Pros:
Clear glass bottle with pump
A little goes a long way
Gel like serum
Stickiness does disappear when absorb
Cons:
Too much product can take forever to absorb
Serum is sticky
Smells of hand sanitizer
Expensive
Did not improve my skin in any way listed in claims

Are They Dupes? Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel VS L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Peel Pads
Stop the press: I’ve found a dupe for Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel.
These handy exfoliating pads have a lot going for them: they smoothen out imperfections, brighten the complexion, and are super easy to travel with.
But at $44.00 for 16 single wipes, they’re not the most cost-effective option out there. Surely, there must be something else that does the same thing at a fraction of the cost.
Meet L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Brightening Daily Peed Pads. At first glance, they’re the perfect dupe for Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel. Let’s see how they stand up to it:
What Key Ingredients Do Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel & L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Have In Common?
GLYCOLIC ACID
Glycolic acid is the star of the show here.
It’s the smallest member of the Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) family, a group of exfoliants that dissolves the glue that holds skin cells together.
Once the old, damaged dead cells are off your skin, your complexion looks smoother, softer and brighter. Oh, glycolic acid hydrates skin, too. That’s what makes it the perfect exfoliant for dry skin. (Oily skin? Try salicylic acid instead).
At 10%+ concentrations, glycolic acid goes a step further: it also boosts the production of collagen, the protein that keeps skin firm. More collagen = firmer skin + fewer wrinkles.
I trust Murad when it says its Rapid Resurfacing Peel has 10% glycolic acid. It’s the 4th ingredient on the ingredient list, so there’s plenty of it.
Compare that to L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Brightening Daily Peed Pads. Glycolic acid is in 6th place… So why does the brand claims it has 10% Glycolic acid? Is it lying?
Nope. L’Oreal claims the pads have a “10% Glycolic Complex.” Complex is the key word here. L’Oreal is counting both glycolic acid and some other ingredient (which it doesn’t mention) to reach that 10%…
Does that mean the L’Oreal pads are useless? Nope. They’re just for beginners. Glycolic acid is harsh. If you’ve never used it before, it can irritate and dry out your skin.
The best way to avoid its side effects? Start with a low concentration – like the one in the L’Oreal pads – and upgrade to a higher concentration later – hello, Murad!

ALCOHOL DENAT
Alcohol Denat is one of the most confusing ingredients in skincare. Some people swear it’s the devil incarnate while others think it’s totally fine.
Who’s right? Both. It all depends on how you use it. Let me explain…
Used alone, alcohol denat can be terribly drying and irritating. But add a few moisturising ingredients to the formula and voila, you counteract its side effects.
Neither Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel and L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Peel Pads are particularly moisturizing. You must follow them up with a good moisturizer.
But what is alcohol denat doing here anyway? It helps active ingredients better penetrate skin, so they can work better and faster.
P.S. Some people can’t use alcohol denat at all. If you moisturize well and your skin still gets dry and irritated, ditch it.
Related: The Truth About Alcohol-Free Skincare
VITAMIN C
Both Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel and L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Peel Pads contain Vitamin C. But they use different forms (yes, vitamin C comes in MANY forms).
Murad uses Ascorbic Acid, the pure type of Vitamin C. It’s the most effective. It fights free radicals, boosts collagen production, and brightens the complexion, too.
L’Oreal uses Ascorbyl Glucoside, a derivative of Ascorbic Acid. It does the same job – just not as well. It’s less effective, but gentler on the skin. If you have sensitive skin, this is better for you.
Either way, neither exfoliant contains a huge amount of Vitamin C. I wouldn’t make my choice based only on this.
Related: All The Types Of Vitamin C Used In Skincare: Which One Is Best?
What Else Is In These Exfoliants?
Not much. Murad Resurfacing Peel has a smidgen of fatty acid (Linoleic acid) to make it a little moisturizing.
But L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Peel Pads are a very basic formula. It has glycolic acid, alcohol, and little else.
What’s The Texture Like?
Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel looks like a small towelette. L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Peel Pads are more like giant cotton pads. Both are soaked in the exfoliating solution and gentle on the skin.
What’s The Packaging Like?
Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel comes in a sleek and orange box that contains 16 wipes. Used every other day, they’ll last you roughly a month.
L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Peel Pads come in a red and white jar that houses 30 pads. Used every other day, they’ll last you two months.
How To Use Them
I don’t care what brands say. It’s NOT a good idea to exfoliate every day.
There’s a reason why you have dead cells: they protect the brighter skin underneath that’s not ready to come to the surface yet.
When you remove a couple of layers of dead cells, your skin becomes smoother and brighter. When you remove too many, your skin turns into a red, irritated mess.
So, how often should you exfoliate? Two or three nights a week, right after cleansing.
Related: How Often Should You Use An AHA Exfoliant?
Which Of The Two Should You Go For?
Go for Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel if:
You’ve already used glycolic acid before and your skin tolerates it well
Price isn’t a concern
You’re looking for an easy-to-travel-with exfoliant
Go for L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Peel Pads if:
You’ve never used glycolic acid before
You’re on a budget
Availability
Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel ($40.00/£46.00): 16 pads. Available at Dermstore, Feel Unique, and Sephora.
L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Pads ($19.99/£24.00): 30 pads. Available at Boots, Walgreen and Walmart.

Are L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Peel Pads A Dupe For Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel?
I wouldn’t call L’Oreal RevitaLift Bright Reveal Daily Peel Pads an exact dupe for Murad Rapid Resurfacing Peel. But it’s a chaper alternative for people who have never used glycolic acid before.

Review of TREATIS’s UV DEFENCE SUN CREAM SPF50+ PA+++
TREATIS is a Korean brand that primarily focuses on developing high-quality products at a reasonable price. They create products for skin balancing, different skin types, and excluding harmful components. Their UV DEFENCE SUN CREAM SPF50+ PA+++ is designed to be a powerful sunscreen that equally protects the skin from UV rays and moisturizes all without leaving a white cast and it's gentle on the eyes. Key ingredients include butylene glycol (moisturizing, conditioning, improves skin softness), allantoin (softening, soothing, protecting, stimulates new cell growth), titanium dioxide (protects the skin from UVA/UVB radiation, gentle, good for sensitive and acne-prone skin), zinc oxide (gives skin a protective coating from irritation, promotes healing, astringent, antiseptic), aloe leaf extract (anti-aging, moisturizing, lightens blemishes and reduces acne, healing, reduces scarring) and white mulberry extract (antioxidant, anti-irritation, evens skin tone, whitening). This product retails for between $19-25 USD, you can get it here for $24.99 + free shipping.
Ingredients
Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Titanium Dioxide, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Butylene Glycol, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Beeswax, Zinc Oxide, Stearyl Alcohol, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Caprylic/Capric Glyceride, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Xanthan Gum, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Morus Alba (White Mulberry) Root Extract, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Allantoin, Betaine, 1,2-hexanediol, Fragrance
To quickly note, I received this for a small fee from 0.8 Liter for my honest review, this post is not sponsored.
The sunscreen contains 60 ml (2.02 oz) and has the faintest sunscreen scent, it's super light.
The product comes in a basic squeeze tube.
The cream itself is slightly off-white and has a lightweight, watery texture.
It spreads out smoothly and feels cooling on the skin.
It blends into the skin very nicely and is super lightweight on the skin, the finish is a slightly powdery one.
It also doesn't give off a white cast as they claim.
Recommended use is to apply evenly onto the skin after the last step of skincare. Focus on areas most easily exposed to UV rays, such as the face and neck and it can be used all over the body. After using, I found this sun cream to be very nice. The feel of the cream is watery and once blended out it leaves a slightly powdery finish. It soaks into the skin pretty quickly and it does not leave a white cast. The ingredients are pretty good and suitable enough for people with sensitive skin as well. There's a fragrance but it's so light, just a hint of sunscreen scent. The cream itself is hydrating and gentle around the eyes, I tend to get the sunscreen into my eyes throughout the day and this one didn't irritate my eyes at all. Not a lot is needed so the product should last a while. It's also a nice choice for year-round use, especially for people who don't tend to have dry skin. As I have very dry skin this one isn't enough to keep it moisturized throughout the day so I layer it. I'd recommend this to anyone with sensitive and dehydrated skin and to people with normal/oily and or combo skin.
What I like: this is lightweight and dries down to a powdery finish. It's not irritating to the skin and is hydrating. The ingredients are nice and it's good for sensitive skin. A little of the product goes a long way and this can be used very safely around the eye area. There's no white cast and the scent is super light. What I don't like: nothing really, it's great.
Pros:
Hydrating
Powdery finish
Lightweight
Blends in quickly
Almost no fragrance
Nice ingredients
Safe around the eyes
Sensitive skin-friendly
Cons:
None
Would I buy again?
Yes
Rating: 10/10

Conclusion
This is first product I’m trying from the 3Lab brand and it’s surpassed my expectations. In fact, everyone I’ve recommended to is equally obsessed with this product! I love how it contains a ton of beneficial ingredients instead of relying on just one. The tightening and lifting effects are visible from the very first use.
Founded in 2003 by two chemists and a dermatologist, 3LAB merges beauty with science to bring the latest in skin care innovation. Every ingredient—including powerful antioxidants—is clinically tested to ensure its effectiveness. Lauded by celebrities and beauty editors, the anti-aging collection combats multiple skin concerns, from environmental damage to fine lines to discoloration.
The eye cream is infused with X-50 and Intelligent Targeting Device Technology. This “smart” technology, also with 3LAB’s Bio-Engineered Renewal Complex delivers targeted repair to the delicate eye area as needed where needed.
This super high-tech ingredient is a technology borrowed from the pharmaceutical industry for drug delivery. X50 came about from the work of researchers evaluating different methods of delivering treatment to tumors. The idea was to develop a delivery system that, like GPS, could lock its sight on the target, travel directly to the site without taking any detours, and effectively deliver the treatment.
X50 is considered a smart ingredient because it operates much like a GPS: The delivery system is surrounded by peptides that are attracted to only one kind of receptor found on the cells expecting to receive the goods. That means that X50 will bypass all other cells that do not have the receptor, so the chances of making the delivery to incorrect cells are drastically reduced.
The gel texture makes it perfect for use under make-up and in fact this eye cream brightens the eye area instantly thanks to the mica it contains.
Given the price tag, this isn’t a must have by any means but it really does deliver unparalleled results! I strongly recommend asking for a sample and then deciding. It’s also great to use on special occasions and using a more affordable alternative on other nights!
