Warriors Orochi: The Recollective Redux Part 5.1: Samurai Warriors Story A

Chapter 1: Battle of Jing Province 荊州の戦い

Unlocked characters: Huang Zhong, Guan Ping

After Shu was destroyed by the Orochi Army, Huang Zhong and Guan Ping found themselves defending Jing Province. Nobunaga comes into the battlefield, saving Guan Ping from certain death…

Meng Da will be with the Huang Zhong Army in the outer section of Xiangyang Castle. Yoshitsugu Ōtani appears in place of Guo Jia and Jia Xu appears in place of Xun Yu in this battle. Diamondback appears in place of Coachwhip in the eastern garrison to ambush Guan Ping. Coachwhip will instead appear near the northwest of the battlefield next to Yoshitsugu.

In the aftermath, Guan Ping and Huang Zhong will join Nobunaga. Huang Zhong tells Nobunaga that he resembles Cao Cao. Nobunaga is interested in finding him and then asks Huang Zhong to lead him to Honnōji, where he is said to be…

Chapter 2: Battle of Honnōji 本能寺の戦い

Coalition Army and Cao Cao Troop → Xiahou Dun Army vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Nobunaga Oda, Huang Zhong, Toshiie Maeda Third-party characters: Cao Cao (illusion), Xiahou Dun, Shingen Takeda Enemy characters: Ding Feng, Da Ji, Sun Shangxiang, Lianshi, Zhou Yu

It was reported that in his initial fight against Orochi, Cao Cao had died at Yiling. However, Nobunaga decided to head to Honnōji, where Cao Cao was rumoured to be living in seclusion. By the time Nobunaga arrived, Honnōji was surrounded by Orochi’s forces.

Toshiie Maeda will appear in place of Kazumasu Takigawa from the Z version of this battle and will be tasked by Nobunaga to extinguish the flames around Honnōji. Li Dian will be replaced by a generic officer when Xiahou Dun arrives. Lianshi will appear in place of Chen Lan and Lei Bo will be replaced by a Wu generic officer.

Xiahou Dun will arrive, outraged that his lord is not there while the “pretender” Nobunaga is. Shingen Takeda will follow, expecting to find Nobunaga, but he finds that Nobunaga is occupied with the Orochi Army.

In the aftermath of the battle, Xiahou Dun tells Nobunaga that he is not fit to replace Cao Cao. Nobunaga tells him that he is wasting his time searching for the dead. Sun Shangxiang is brought to Nobunaga, having been captured in the battle. Nobunaga asks if the kingdom of Wu has any spirit left in them, then has the prisoners released.

Chapter 3: Battle of Kyūshū 九州の戦い

Coalition Army and Naoe Army vs. Sakon Shima Army Allied characters: Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Kanbei Kuroda Third-party characters: Kanetsugu Naoe Enemy characters: Sakon Shima, Zhang Jiao, Okuni, Xiaoqiao

Unlocked characters: Zhang Jiao, Okuni, Xiaoqiao

Nobunaga identified some independent forces in Kyūshū as potential reinforcements for his own army.

Kanbei Kuroda and Sadakatsu Murai swap places at the start of the battle.

Kanetsugu Naoe will arrive to assist the Oda, under orders from Kenshin Uesugi. He will see that Sakon’s forces aren’t working together to see the big picture while Nobunaga is more concerned with strengthening his power.

In the aftermath, Nobunaga grants Sakon an opportunity to demonstrate his strategy and allows Zhang Jiao, Okuni and Xiaoqiao to join his army. After an officer suggests that they should join forces with Kenshin Uesugi and Shingen Takeda, Nobunaga declines.

Chapter 4: Battle of Tong Gate 潼関の戦い

Coalition Army and Sakon Shima Troop vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Nobunaga Oda, Katsuie Shibata Third-party characters: Sakon Shima Enemy characters: Dong Zhuo, Zhang Liao, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Guan Xing, Guan Suo, Hisahide Matsunaga, Munenori Yagyū, Kotarō Fūma

The kingdom of Wu had its leader Sun Jian captured and their forces forced to serve in the Orochi Army. Nobunaga decided to send Sakon Shima to aid Sun Ce, who was leading Wu in his father’s absence. Sakon was aware of the secrets of many armies, including the whereabouts of where Sun Jian was held. Nobunaga believed that if Sun Ce had that information, he would defect from the Orochi Army. However, the Orochi Army arrived to attack Nobunaga at that very moment, making Sakon’s journey extremely problematic…

Katsuie Shibata appears as an additional officer for the Oda Army. Guan Xing and Guan Suo will appear as additional officers along the Yellow River. Hisahide Matsunaga and Munenori Yagyū will also appear in the southeast.

Guide Sakon to the escape point and defeat Dong Zhuo to win the battle. Sakon will farewell Nobunaga to join forces with Sun Ce.

Chapter 5: Battle of Guandu 官渡の戦い

Coalition Army and Ling Tong Troop vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Nobunaga Oda, Zhang Jiao, Mitsuhide Akechi, Nagahide Niwa Third-party characters: Ling Tong Enemy characters: Da Ji, Daqiao, Diaochan, Lu Lingqi

Unlocked characters: Ling Tong

Shingen Takeda and Kenshin Uesugi overcame their differences to form a military alliance. Believing that this had only served to gather the enemy soldiers for easier disposal, Orochi gleefully sent his main forces in to wage war with them at Nagashino. Though Shingen and Kenshin were brave and cunning leaders, they were outnumbered by Orochi’s army. When Nobunaga heard what was happening, he sent his army to attack Guandu rather than send reinforcements to Nagashino.

Lu Lingqi will appear in place of Nobushige Oyamada in this battle. Ling Tong will arrive in the east to assist in this battle.

In the aftermath, Huang Zhong will report that Shingen and Kenshin have been defeated at Nagashino. However, Nobunaga foresaw that and reveals that if he went to Nagashino, the enemy would have overrun Guandu instead.

Chapter 6: Battle of Fan Castle 樊城の戦い

Coalition Army vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Ling Tong, Kanbei Kuroda Enemy characters: Cao Pi, Zhang He, Sun Quan, Zhou Tai, Ding Feng, Lianshi, Li Dian, Yue Jin, Xiahou Dun

After the Orochi Army were victorious at Nagashino, Orochi had his forces head to Guandu, only to find it taken by Nobunaga. This greatly lowered the Orochi Army’s morale since they were already fatigued from the long journey. Wanting to take advantage of this situation, Nobunaga lay in wait at Fan Castle…

Kanbei Kuroda will appear in place of Ittetsu Inaba and Nagayoshi Mori will appear in place of Toshiie Maeda like in the Z version of the battle.

Li Dian will appear in place of Yu Jin, Zhou Tai will appear in place of Hideyasu Yūki and Lianshi will appear near Sun Quan as an additional officer. Xiahou Ba will be replaced by a generic officer when Xiahou Dun arrives out of nowhere, intending to defeat the “pretender”, Nobunaga.

Defeat both Cao Pi and Xiahou Dun to win the battle. In the aftermath, Nobunaga advises Xiahou Dun to give Cao Pi a chance as a leader. If he needs to cross swords with a man to determine his worth, then he should do that with Cao Pi.

Chapter 7: Battle of the Wuzhang Plains 五丈原の戦い

Coalition Army and Takeda-Uesugi Army vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Nobunaga Oda, Katsuie Shibata, Toshiie Maeda Third-party characters: Kenshin Uesugi, Kanetsugu Naoe, Kagekatsu Uesugi, Shingen Takeda Enemy characters: Da Ji, Masamune Date, Keiji Maeda, Munenori Yagyū, Kojūrō Katakura, Hisahide Matsunaga

Unlocked characters: Kenshin Uesugi, Kanetsugu Naoe, Kagekatsu Uesugi, Shingen Takeda

Sakon had liased with Sun Ce, while Xiahou Dun had reconciled with Cao Pi. Nobunaga’s plans were beginning to come to fruition. Realising for the first time that Nobunaga was attempting to unite the Resistance forces into a single mighty army (or rather a united front), Orochi ordered Da Ji to have Nobunaga killed. Da Ji set forth to meet Nobunaga at the Wuzhang Plains…

Toshiie Maeda will appear in place of Ujisato Gamō from the Z version of this battle and Katsuie Shibata will appear in place of Ittetsu Inaba, who in turn appears in the northwestern garrison where Nagayoshi Mori would be.

Munenori Yagyū will appear in place of Mitsuyasu Shimura in this battle. Hisahide Matsunaga will appear in place of Zhong Hui when Da Ji sends out reinforcements near her main camp.

Later in the battle, Kenshin Uesugi and Shingen Takeda will arrive as reinforcements, having survived the Orochi Army’s attack at Nagashino. Kagekatsu Uesugi will appear in place of Kageie Kakizaki.

In the aftermath, Kenshin and Shingen join Nobunaga’s quest to defeat Orochi and Nobunaga prepares his forces for a final showdown.

Chapter 8: Battle of Koshi Castle 古志城の戦い

Coalition Army and Resistance Army vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Nobunaga Oda, Shingen Takeda, Kenshin Uesugi, Hanbei Takenaka Third-party characters: Yu Fan, Ma Zhong, Zhang Cheng, Cao Xiu, Jiang Ji, Han Hao Enemy characters: Orochi, Da Ji, Lu Bu, Hisahide Matsunaga, Munenori Yagyū

Some variations have been made to the Chapter 8 Koshi Castle battles. In each faction’s version, they will fight one of Orochi’s main generals with the exception of Da Ji and Lu Bu, who will appear in each version. In this version of the battle, that general will be Hisahide Matsunaga.

Hisahide Matsunaga and Munenori Yagyū will appear as additional officers in the south of the battlefield. When reinforcements from Wu and Wei arrive later, they are known as the 同盟軍 in Japanese or the Wu Army in English. In this version of the game, they are known as the Resistance Army 反乱軍. Also, the reinforcements are made up of generic officers.

When Lu Bu is defeated, Orochi will open the gates of Koshi Castle. Defeat Orochi to win the battle.

29th Golden Eagle Awards

Feather Flies to the Sky has been continuously collecting well-deserved trophies for the past year, and this time screenwriter Shen Jie and male lead Zhang Yi received top accolades. Zhang Yi shared the award with Li Yifeng, who won for his performance in popular espionage drama Sparrow. He has improved since then, so I guess the theme this year is encouragement?

@hotdogogh Si Edmund, Siya yung kaklse nyong Juan Luna ng klase, bata palang potensyal nang pintor. Sobrang artsy nya. Kumpleto lagi ang art materials nya sa mapeh. May 64 crayola sya. May pentel na iba iba kulay, may water color,may drawing book na makapal, may poster paint, may coloring pencils. Bilang nya bawat isa. Kaya kapag may nanghihiram, alam nya kung ano ang nawawala at kung sinong nakawala. Very good sya sa arts at nkikipag sabayan din sa music, sya din yung mahilig tumugtog ng instrument sa classroom para mag jam at magkantahan lahat. Arts and performing arts genius daw sya. Human always like to live by water. The Yellow River Basin in China also gave birth to the earliest Chinese culture, and China's floods seem to be quite frequent, the five thousand years of Chinese history also was a history of water control.

In the Chinese legend, the water God Gonggong fought with the fire God Zhurong, Gonggong damaged the Buzhou mountains which supported the sky and earth, the water came out of the sky river, flooding the world. This was the first great flood. Finally, the human creator Nu WA made a multicolored divine stones out of hot fire

and mended the sky.

人类总是逐水而居。在中国的黄河流域也诞生了最早的华夏文化，而中国的水灾似乎特别多，中国人五千年历史，也是一部治水的历史。

传说水神共工与火神打架，一怒之下撞坏了支撑天地的不周山，天河的水流出，人间洪灾泛滥，这就是人类第一次大洪灾。最后，人类的创造者女娲娘娘炼成五彩巨石，终于修补了天空的漏洞。

Records of Lü Guang, Part 2

Qiangui's cousin Kedan came in flight. Guang sent down a document saying:

Qiangui is a wolf cub with a wild heart, from beginning to end turning around and tipping over. We have just to the east purified Qin and Zhao, directing to inscribe at Kuaji. Why make an upright son a standing owl south of the Gan? [?] Moreover his brothers inside leave each other [?], can be the moment of opportune, most not exceed the present. Thus counsel centre and outside to admonish sternly, We undertake to personally punish.

Guang hence stayed at Changzui, and sent Lü Zuan leading Yang Gui, Dou Ji and others leading 30 000 infantry and cavalry to attack Jincheng. Qiangui lead a multitude of 20 000 to rescue it. Guang dispatched his generals Wang Bao and Xu Jiong leading 5 000 cavalry to intercept him. Qiangui was afraid, and did not advance.

Guang also dispatched his generals Liang Gong and Jinshi Sheng [?] to use 10 000 to set out beneath Yangwu Gorge. They and the Inspector of Qin province Meiyi Yu attacked to his east. Guang's younger brother, the Duke of Tianshui, Yan, used the multitudes of Fuhan to attack Lintao, Wushi and Heguan, capturing all of them. Lü Zuan overcame Jincheng, and captured Qiangui's Grand Warden of Jincheng, Wei Jian. Jian with glaring [?] eyes spoke to Guang, saying:

I would rather defend credentials with a cut off head than be a surrendered recreant.

Guang [saw his] righteousness and spared him. Qiangui because of that was greatly shaken, and with a weeping sigh said:

Among the dead seeking to live, proper to be today. [?]

He then let loose double agents, claiming that Qiangui's multitudes had dispersed, and that he had fled east to Chengji. Lü Yan trusted them, pulled out the host and advanced carelessly. Yan's Marshal, Geng Zhi, remonstrated, saying:

Qiangui is heroic and brave beyond ordinary people, his powerful plans are difficult to estimate. He routed Wang Guang and overcame Yang Ding, always with a weak host to thereby entice them. Although [his is] a petty and small state, it likewise is not possible to make light of it. A surrounded beast is likely to fight, furthermore is not Qiangui yet looking to the wind and scattering himself! Moreover to make announcements of observing the exalted and appearing to act, surely this is a a treacherous plan. Yet now if we are in proper sections and columns, then go forward, infantry and cavalry connected to each other, calmly waiting for the various armies to greatly assemble, then it is possible in a single stretch to wipe him out.

Yan did not follow. He and Qiangui met each other, he was defeated in battle and died there. Geng Zhi and General Jiang Xiang gathered and assembled the scattered soldiers and garrisoned at Fuhan. Guang returned to Guzang.

Guang was unconstrained and senile, and trusted slander. He killed the Master of Writing Juqu Luochou and the Grand Warden of Sanhe, Juqu Quzhou. Luochou's younger brother's son Mengxun rebelled against Guang, and killed the Army-Protector of Zhongtian [?], Ma Sui, attacked and captured Linsong commandery, and garrisoned the troops at Mount Jin. He greatly was a worry for the hundred families.

Mengxun's senior cousin Nancheng had earlier become General, defending Jincheng. He heard Mengxu had risen with troops, and absconded and fled to count on the recreants. He incited the various Yi, the multitude reaching several thousands, and advanced to attack Fulu and Jian'an. The General who Soothes the Rong, Zhao Ce, struck and defeated him. Nancheng withdrew to garrison Leguan.

Lü Zuan defeated Mengxun at Hu Valley. The Grand Warden of Jiuquan, Lei Cheng, led Generals Zhao Ce and Zhao Ling with more than 10 000 infantry and cavalry to punish Nancheng. They were defeated in battle and Cheng and Ce died there. Nancheng advanced to attack Jiankang, and advised the Grand Warden, Duan Ye, saying:

The Lü clan's government is in decline, powerful subjects monopolize instructions, laws and regulations have lost the middle ground, people are not capable of serving. In the land of single province, there are rebellions in connected cities, with a tendency to shattering the tiles, brightly being seen [?], the hundred families clamouring, without ancestral adherence. Office Lord, how can [you] consider covering the talents of the generation, and establish loyalty to a generation on a limb for destruction!

Nancheng and others already sing [your] great righteousness, and wis rather for the Office Lord to console and preside over the border province, making the remainder of smearing charcoal cover the kindness of coming habitually [?].

Ye did not follow. They grasped each other from two sides for 20 days, and yet outside help did not arrive. Gao Gui and Shi Hui and others, natives of the commandery, spoke to Ye, saying:

Ye had earlier not been level with Guang's Palace Attendant Fang Gui and the Supervisor Wang Xiang. He worried about not facing himself [?], and therefore allowed it. Nancheng and others pushed forward Ye as Great Commander-in-Chief, Great General who Gallops like a Dragon, Shepherd of Liang province and Duke of Jiankang. Guang instructed Lü Zuan to punish Ye. Juqu Mengxun advanced to garrison Lintao and was expressing power for Ye. They fought at Heli, Zuan's host was greatly defeated.

Guang's Cavalier in Regular Attendance and Grand Master of Ceremonies, Guo Nun was enlightened in astronomy, and good at divining the sky. He spoke to Wang Xiang, saying:

In astronomy, the allocated field of Liang is about to have great troops. [Our] master and sovereign is old and ill, the Heir-Apparent is unassuming and unnoticed, Zuan others are lethal and martial, in a single morning it will not be hidden, there will surely be difficulties arising. Since us two persons for a long time have resided within the core, and regularly have not spoken good of them, [I] fear calamity will reach the persons. [We] deeply ought to be worried about it.

The King of Tianhu, Qiqiji's [?] section multitudes are exceedingly strong, of the people of the two parks, many are from his former multitudes. If we now with the righteousness of public song, push forward Ji as ruler, then the multitudes of the two parks exhaustively will be ours. After overcoming the city, we slowly further plot against him.

Xiang considered it doable. At night they burnt Guang's Hongfan Gate, the multitudes of the two parks all adhering to them, and Xiang making the interior obey. The affair got out, and Guang executed him. Nun thereupon took possession of the Eastern Park to accordingly rebel. Guang hurried to send a summons to Zuan. The various generals urged Zuan, saying:

When Ye hears the host has turned around, he will surely follow in the army's rear. Suppose the host secretly return in the night, the masses will be without worries for the rear.

Zuan said:

Ye, though relying on the city to obstruct the masses, is without talent for manly plans. Suppose we return in the night, we will trap his treacherous aspirations.

He therefore dispatched envoys to inform Ye, saying:

Guo Nun is making chaos, I am now returnign to the capital. If Sir is able to decide, he can set out and fight.

And so he pulled out and returned. Ye did not dare to set out. Zuan's Marshal Yang Tong spoke to his senior cousin Huan, saying:

Guo Nun is enlightened and good in astronomy, raising troops he accepts possession accordingly [?]. Outside of the Imperial City, nothing again is possessed by the imperial court. Zuan now return to the capital, how can he again make repairs!

Tong requests to remove Zuan, direct troops to push forward elder brother as Master of the Covenant, to the west attack Lü Honh and, occupy Zhangye to thereby call out orders to the various commanderies, likewise a thousand years in a single season.

Huan angrily said:

I have heard in the affairs a lord's person of the subject and son [?],l there is neglect without the two. I [“We”?] originally had the model of Baoxu being of help [?]. How can we calmly glorify in his emoluments, with chaos adding to his difficulties! Suppose the Lü lineage is defeated, I will be vast and spread out [?].

Tong was afraid. When they arrived at Fanhe, he thereupon fled to Guo Nun. Nun dispatched an army to meet Zuan at Baishi. Zuan was greatly defeated. Guang's Grand Warden of Xi'an, Shi Yuanliang, led 5 000 infantry and cavalry to hurry to the difficulties. He and Zuan struck Nun's army together and routed it. Thereupon they entered Guzang.

At Nun's rebellion, he obtained 8 of Guang's grandson in the Eastern Park. When his army was defeated, his anger was considerable, he altogether threw them on top of spear points and blades, their limbs cut off and their joints disjointed, drinking the blood to swear to the multitudes. The multitudes all shut their eyes, and could not bear to look at it. Nun leisured himself as such [?].

[Nun?] pushed forward the General of the Rear, Yang Gui as Master of the Covenant. Gui titled himself Great General, Shepherd of Liang province and Duke of Xiping. Lü Zuan struck Nun's general Wang Fei west of the city, greatly routing him. After this, Nun's power gradually declined. Guang bequeathed to Yang Gui a letter saying:

Since the Qiang and Hu are not peaceful, Guo Nun a rebellious traitor, the southern hinterlands are not calm, a voice asking to cut in two [?]. Hearsay from travellers, speak of Sir embracing pressuring the hundred families, and being the lips and teeth of Nun.

Sir is elegant, determined, loyal and virtuous, has the fidelity of Clerk Yu, perceiving and examining success and defeat, far reaching in the same way as the ancients. How could you listen to and accept treachery, thereby damaging the great beauty! The frost on the hill does not wither the pines and cypresses, the approaching difficulties do not move the lord's sons. Why plan for the pines and cypresses to wither in a little frost when the chickens cry already at the rain in the air!

Guo Nun is a shaman divining small numbers. At the time someone made a mistake in the middle, the great principles of the examinations, leading many with hollow errors. We are administering and reforming a solitary region, the marshes do not reach the distance [?], presenting the affairs of the generation in disorder and confusion, a hundred cities departing in rebellion. Uniting our strength as a single heart, together aiding the great sea, [We?] look for it from Sir [?].

Now the accumulate millet within the granaries are several billions. A single of the fighting soldiers of the eastern people undertake more than a hundred. If entering, he smiles soft and soothing, if setting out he martially strolls Liang province. He swallows Nun and chews Ye, unruffled having spare time remaining.

Although [We] and Sir appear even as lord and subject, in our hearts it goes beyond father and son. [We] desire to maintain Sir's fame and moderation, not sending to bequeath smiles about to come [?].

Gui did not reply, but led 20 000 infantry and cavalry to hurry north to Guo Nun. When he arrived at Guzang, he walled up to the north of the city. Lü Hong was pressured by Duan Ye, and Guang dispatched Lü Zuan to receive him. Gui planned with the multitudes, saying:

Lü Hong's spirited troops are 10 000. Suppose he and Guang combine, then the enemy will be strong and us weak. [If we] rearing the beast and do not punishing, it is about to be a later worry.

Thereupon he led the troops to intercept Zuan. Zuan struck and defeated him. Guo Nun heard Gui was defeated, and ran east to Wei'an, and thereupon fled to Qifu Qiangui. Yang Gui heard Nun had ran, and fled south to Lianchuan.

Guang was very ill, and established his son Shao as Heavenly King, titling himself Great Highest August Emperor. He used Lü Zuan as Grand Commandant and Lü Hong as Minister over the Masses. He spoke to Shao, saying:

My illness is only increasing, [I] fear it is about be not curable. Three robbers peep through the door, frequently waiting for the state to have cracks. I am finally considering [my] descendants, making Zuan command the Six Armies, Hong conducting court and government affairs. You respectfully do nothing yourself [?]. Delegate heavily to your two elder brothers, they will many time be of aid [?]. Suppose within you second guess each other, quarrelling rising in the solemn screen, then the alteration of Jin and Zhao dawn and evening will arrive.

He also spoke to Zuan and Hong, saying:

Yongye's talents are not in sweeping away chaos, it is just due to the principle of legal wife being commonplace, sundry residing at the inaugural head [?]. Now outside there are strong rebels, the people's hearts are not at ease. If you brothers are sewn up majestically, then bequeath it for ten thousand generations. Suppose within you plot against each other, then calamity will not turn on its heel.

Zuan and Hong wept and said:

We do not dare be disloyal.

Guang accordingly died in Emperor An's 3rd Year of Long'an [399 AD]. At the time he was 63 years old, and had been on the throne for 10 years. His bogus posthumous title was Laudable and Martial [yiwu] August Emperor, his temple title was Grand Founder [taizu], his tomb was titled Gaoling [“Lofty Mound”].

Het kiezen van uw woord van het jaar … De editie 2019!

Hallo 2019

Ik ben het weer! Na een paar dagen rust ben ik zo blij om te zeggen dat ik opgewonden ben voor de schone, frisse lei van dit nieuwe jaar.

Een ding dat ik heb gemerkt, is hoe gemakkelijk je kunt beginnen te vermoeid raken van het concept van New Years-voornemens, nieuw jaar, nieuw jij enz enz. Ik snap het! Begin januari wordt overspoeld met druk om volledig georganiseerd, verbeterd en klaar te zijn … en ik ben het ermee eens, het kan een beetje veel worden. Dat is waarom ik het graag eenvoudig houd als het gaat om planning. Geen complete revisie van het lichaam of levensveranderingen hier, slechts een geleidelijke, gestage evolutie naar de persoon die je wilt zijn. En geen druk om alle antwoorden nu te hebben!

Een tool die ik erg nuttig vind in dit proces is de WOTY – kies een enkel woord van het jaar om te helpen bij het definiëren en begeleiden van het komende jaar. Dit heb ik de afgelopen paar jaar gedaan en jullie, jongens. Het werkt! Ik heb er eerder over gesproken (zie de 2017 en 2018 edities) En was verheugd om vorig jaar te zien dat het concept resoneerde met velen van jullie. Dus, in het geval u deze week gaat zitten om te werken aan uw korte- en langetermijndoelen of visie voor het jaar, hebben we de 2019 editie samengesteld!

WAAROM KIES EEN WOORD VAN HET JAAR?

Als u nog niet bekend bent met het kiezen van een woord van het jaar, zijn hier een paar redenen waarom het nuttig voor u zou kunnen zijn.

Het helpt je focus te geven De belangrijkste reden dat ik een leidraad vind voor het nuttige jaar, is dat het helpt om al je denken voor het hele jaar te concentreren, vooral als je je ooit een beetje verspreid voelt over waar je bent. Handen omhoog hier!

Het zorgt voor flexibiliteit Heb je ooit het gevoel dat je doelen in de loop van de tijd aanzienlijk veranderen, of als je een doel niet haalt en je dan het gevoel hebt dat alles uit het raam verdwijnt? Het is me eerder helemaal overkomen. Maar door een enkel woord te gebruiken, kunt u uw doelen in de loop van de tijd aanpassen, zolang ze maar in overeenstemming zijn met het focuswoord dat u aan het begin van het jaar hebt gekozen.

Het is gemakkelijk om te onthouden Als je op mij lijkt, heb je mogelijk een hele hoop doelen op verschillende gebieden in je leven, en het is weliswaar moeilijk om ze te onthouden, vooral omdat de maanden aanhouden. Door een enkel woord te kiezen, kunt u uw brede doelen vooropstellen.

Het kan uw doelen verenigen Over het algemeen zijn onze doelen breed en bestrijken alle verschillende elementen van ons leven, waardoor het soms moeilijk is om ze te gebruiken als een criterium voor het nemen van beslissingen. Maar door uw doelen te analyseren en vervolgens een woord te kiezen dat in al deze aspecten resoneert, vind ik dat het gemakkelijker is om uw aanpak voor het jaar te definiëren en alle beslissingen die u moet nemen te begeleiden.

Het maakt het gemakkelijker om je prestaties te beoordelen Als u een enkel woord gebruikt om uw jaar te definiëren en te begeleiden, is het aan het einde van het jaar gemakkelijk om uw jaar op een brede manier te beoordelen, door uzelf af te vragen: ‘Weerspiegelde dit jaar (voeg hier uw bepalende woord in)?’.

TERUGBLIK OP MIJN LEIDINGSWOORD VOOR 2018

Mijn woord uit 2018 was EVOLVE. Toen ik mijn woord voor 2018 koos, was ik slechts een paar maanden zwanger en had ik wat moeite met het idee om moeder te worden en alle veranderingen die dit met zich mee zou brengen. In plaats van me te concentreren op de mogelijke worstelingen en angstaanjagende kant van ouder worden, koos ik het woord 'evolueren’ en op veel manieren dat me echt het hele jaar door hielp – ik bleef terugkomen om mezelf eraan te herinneren dat evolutie iets was dat een goede zaak en niet iets om doodsbang voor te zijn. Het was zo noodzakelijk om mijn bedrijf te laten evolueren naarmate ik me aanpaste aan het moederschap en mijn relaties (met Ben en onze familie) te ontwikkelen toen we deze gekke, nieuwe rollen wensten. Eerlijk gezegd denk ik dat ik waarschijnlijk een nieuw woord aan mijn jaar moet toevoegen: SURVIVE. Want alleen al het overleven van een nieuwe baby tijdens het runnen van een bedrijf is een grote prestatie! Dat voelt tenminste voor mij aan. Dus ja, de dingen zijn geëvolueerd en daarvoor ben ik heel dankbaar, en we hebben het overleefd …. En daarvoor denk ik dat ik een glas wijn verdien (of 6). Maar terug naar 'evolueren’ – ik denk dat het me zeker heeft geholpen, zowel op directe als indirecte manier.

KIES UW WOORD VOOR 2019

Dus ben je klaar? Het is tijd! Tijd om te beslissen over je eigen woord. Je weet misschien meteen wat je wilt dat het woord van je jaar is, misschien is het iets op het puntje van je tong. Of misschien heb je wat hulp nodig om ideeën te ontwikkelen, wat ook heel goed is. Het mooie van de oefening is dat er geen druk is om meteen te weten. In feite geven we je toestemming om je timmmmeeeee hierop te nemen.

Hoe het WOTY-blad in te vullen

Stap 1. Doe een beetje brainstorm van woorden die je het brein het komende jaar te binnen schieten. We hebben een hele hoop ideeën op een rij gezet, maar voegen er ook je eigen ideeën aan toe.

Stap 2. Vervolgens kunt u, als u dat wilt, enkele gedachten opsommen onder de verschillende gebieden op het vel. We deden deze om je te helpen, maar voelen je niet vrij om ze meteen helemaal op te vullen en alles te verlaten wat je niet weet.

Stap 3. Kies ten slotte één woord waarvan je denkt dat het je gedachten verenigt over al je doelen en schrijf het onderaan op. Je zou kunnen merken dat je gekozen woord betrekking heeft op je sterkste doelen en niet op allemaal, en dat is goed, maar hoe breder het is, hoe nuttiger het zal zijn.

Grow The Business Ik zie enkele HUGE veranderingen in de winkel voor het komende jaar en deze website en bedrijf. Hoewel ik me gelukkig voel dat ik in 2018 kon overleven, was het eerlijk gezegd een ietwat traag jaar, iets dat komt door te vertragen om een baby te krijgen! Dus in 2019 hoop ik de groei van mijn bedrijf te versnellen en een nieuw, uitdagender pad in te slaan. Daarover binnenkort meer!

Plant de zaden Vorig jaar ging het erom mijn hoofd boven water te houden, zonder tijd te besteden aan nieuwe ideeën. Waarvoor ik er zoveel heb! Dus dit jaar gaat over het planten van die zaden en ze laten groeien.

Grow My Ideas Ik denk dat we soms een beetje motivatie nodig hebben om onze ideeën te doen. Ik denk zelfs dat we allemaal een kleine dagelijkse herinnering nodig hebben – DOE JE IDEEËN! Dit betekent niet wachten tot ze perfect uitgevoerd zijn voordat je start, en niet te lang in de details blijven steken om ooit iets uit te voeren. Dit jaar draait alles om meer te experimenteren en mijn ideeën te doen!

Mijn persoonlijk merk scheiden (en laten groeien) Er is grote waarde in een persoonlijk merk, maar tegelijkertijd vertrouwt het zwaar op u. Daarom ben ik erg opgewonden om iets nieuws te bouwen dat mijn persoonlijke oog, stijl en esthetiek brengt, maar ook groeit en mijn persoonlijke merk scheidt.

Overweeg Green Living 2018 heeft voor mij echt een element van klimaatverandering benadrukt, en dus denk ik dat ik in 2019 meer aandacht zal besteden aan duurzaamheid in alle aspecten van wat ik doe, inclusief hier in het bedrijf!

Hallo 2019

Ik ben het weer! Na een paar dagen rust ben ik zo blij om te zeggen dat ik opgewonden ben voor de schone, frisse lei van dit nieuwe jaar.

WAAROM KIES EEN WOORD VAN HET JAAR?

Als u nog niet bekend bent met het kiezen van een woord van het jaar, zijn hier een paar redenen waarom het nuttig voor u zou kunnen zijn.

Het maakt het gemakkelijker om je prestaties te beoordelen Als u een enkel woord gebruikt om uw jaar te definiëren en te begeleiden, is het aan het einde van het jaar gemakkelijk om uw jaar op een brede manier te beoordelen, door uzelf af te vragen: 'Weerspiegelde dit jaar (voeg hier uw bepalende woord in)?'.

TERUGBLIK OP MIJN LEIDINGSWOORD VOOR 2018

Mijn woord uit 2018 was EVOLVE. Toen ik mijn woord voor 2018 koos, was ik slechts een paar maanden zwanger en had ik wat moeite met het idee om moeder te worden en alle veranderingen die dit met zich mee zou brengen. In plaats van me te concentreren op de mogelijke worstelingen en angstaanjagende kant van ouder worden, koos ik het woord 'evolueren' en op veel manieren dat me echt het hele jaar door hielp – ik bleef terugkomen om mezelf eraan te herinneren dat evolutie iets was dat een goede zaak en niet iets om doodsbang voor te zijn. Het was zo noodzakelijk om mijn bedrijf te laten evolueren naarmate ik me aanpaste aan het moederschap en mijn relaties (met Ben en onze familie) te ontwikkelen toen we deze gekke, nieuwe rollen wensten. Eerlijk gezegd denk ik dat ik waarschijnlijk een nieuw woord aan mijn jaar moet toevoegen: SURVIVE. Want alleen al het overleven van een nieuwe baby tijdens het runnen van een bedrijf is een grote prestatie! Dat voelt tenminste voor mij aan. Dus ja, de dingen zijn geëvolueerd en daarvoor ben ik heel dankbaar, en we hebben het overleefd …. En daarvoor denk ik dat ik een glas wijn verdien (of 6). Maar terug naar 'evolueren' – ik denk dat het me zeker heeft geholpen, zowel op directe als indirecte manier.
