favourite colour: ough its gotta be green. though pink is a very close second. also brown my beloved wife brown.
last song: pretty sure it was De Selby Part 2 by Hozier...im really loving his new direction his new album is soooo good
currently reading: I'm about to start Ugly: the aesthetics of everything by Stephen Bayley, which i read back in uni and loved bc it's about how our aesthetic tastes have been changed and shaped over the course of human civilization
currently watching: right this actual second im watching Michel Ocelot's Dilili à Paris!! It's pretty fun so far, i like Ocelot's work and his style, and the multimedia approach to this film & the overall plot & composition gives it a point and click game feel to it which probably isn't for everyone but I'm enjoying it. Also Dilili is a delightful character i do adore her and i like how explicit the film is about her being biracial and how it affects her life while not making it the focus of the story
currently craving: ohhh my god.....im literally always craving something it's one of my many curses.....right now it's smoked fish on crackers with cornichons on the side and a hibiscus lemonade, two days ago it was confit tomato on thick ciabatta toast with buttery scrambled eggs...im never not desperate for some specific as hell meal that usually isnt even accessible to me its a terrible burden to carry
coffee or tea: gotta be rooibos tea but specifically the variety they carry at tradeaid. i tried Bos brand rooibos the other day and it had this really harsh medicinal smell and taste i wasnt happy with. a good masala chai is my other love but most places dont do decaf masala chai since its made with black tea sadly
ummmm tagging @ghibli @charmophron @effemimaniac @maeonline @sunblocks and anyone else who feels like doin an ask game on this fine friday night

Hey Hi (: I’m back with my new video tutorial about how I paint “starry nights” with watercolors and white gouache. It’s a romantic composition requested by my lovely friend Cher. I decided to draw my favorite original characters: Michael and Frey O’Reilly (my couple ❤️ I missed to draw them, honestly!) The music is one of my daily improvisation on piano.  This style is freely inspired by one of my favorite artists of all the time: Michel Ocelot. You should watch how beautiful his movies are: "Princes et Princesses" or "Dilili à Paris". ❣ I will be so happy if you will subscribe to my new Youtube channel, we will have art adventures all together and you can do a request if you want a specific tutorial.
Wishing to you a beautiful and productive day.  ♡

20, 25 and 42 for the ask thing!!
20. An underrated director.
I’m really sorry but I don’t think I actually am familiar enough with any director to really have that kind of opinion. I’d like to say more people should watch Michel Ocelot’s movies, but the truth is he’s not that underrated and Dilili à Paris was fun but still a bit disappointing.
25. A movie you’ve seen that you think no one else’s here will have heard of?
I’m gonna ask my old childhood memories for that one and dig out that awful animated movie that was The Legend of Mulan by Darko Perovic. Not the Disney one, so. I guess it’s more of a “I hope no one saw that thing for their own good” than a “I know no one saw that thing”.
42. A movie that made you go ‘wtf was that’.
Les Triplettes de Belleville. Not in a bad way. It’s just really confusing and slightly terrifying when you’re like 7 y/o. But really cool. Especially the frog fishing scene. Ka-boum.
No mention of Les Demoiselles de Rochefort here (love your profile picture btw) but it appears that the only cinema I can talk about is animated cinema. Oops.
Thank you for asking !

On a enfin vu, en famille, Dilili à Paris, de Michel Ocelot. Quelle merveille !
