I hate how society is so fat phobic that people will question why someone with t2 diabetes needs a medication to control blood sugar more than their need to lose weight. Like maybe, just maybe, having an uncontrolled blood sugar of 300 is just a little more dangerous than you potentially having health problems years down the line. One is decidedly more dangerous.

Also I heart healthcare that has suddenly started charging me a certain percentage for the diabetes supplies I need every month when I've never been charged for it. I heart getting no notification that this would be happening and just getting a bill in the mail that explains nothing

It took over a month to get my insurance, pharmacy, and doctor all on the same page to get me my diabetes supplies. Finally getting a package this week and... they only sent me half of the stuff I need??? And not in a, 'this is what you need for two weeks instead of a month' way half. In a, 'we've sent you one months supply of half of the things you need in a month' way. What the goddamn absolute fuck.
