Summery:

It was hard to believe that someone who was notoriously known as a bully, like Michael Afton, had a crush on someone that wasn't some cheerleader or popular girl at school. Y/N was a total nerd but that didn't stop him from crushing on her for years. After the grace of god, when he got the chance to ask her out she was skeptical but took it. But how would others react to the strange parring?

Fredbear’s Family Diner

September 22 | Saturday | 4:43 PM

Y/N was sitting at her desk, doing the homework her teachers assigned over the weekend. She was almost finished when she heard the commotion coming from downstairs. Curious to see what it was all about, she got up from her desk leaving the room.

When she arrived at the bottom of the steps, she was met with her older brother and his small family.

“Hey, there lil sis!” He greeted, pulling her into a bear hug.

“Hi Gabe,” She hugged back awkwardly with how he had trapped her upper arms in the hug.

Once he let go, his wife, Sammy, hugged Y/N too. But this one is gentler. “Good to see you.”

“You too,” She replied, with an awkward light pat on the back.

Y/N’s parents walked through the door, carrying all of the luggage through the door. Two little kids followed behind, carrying their own small suitcases. The oldest is around the age of nine and the youngest is seven. Y/N’s father walked past everyone, bringing the cases upstairs to the guest bedroom.

“Look at how much you two have grown! You’re both so strong!” Y/N’s mom gushed at the cuteness of her grandchildren. “Grandma has made cookies, would you two like some?”

“Yes!” Both of them exclaimed in unison.

Sammy turned her head towards the two. “Yes, please.” She reminded them.

“Yes please!” They retold their grandma.

“I swear they’re going to be the death of me.” Sammy shook her head in annoyance. Gabe only laughed, putting his arm around his wife.

“I guess I can’t blame them. They were excited to see you all.” Sammy smiled, crossing her arms. “Devin wouldn’t stop asking how much longer and Carmen kept asking what we were going to do here.”

“I’m just excited to be able to push them off to mom and dad,” Gabe replied.

Erik only just now came down the steps. His hair was wet so she suspected he was taking a shower, which is why he was joining the family gathering now. Gabe and Sammy hugged him too.

“So how have you two been?” Gabe asked, in an attempt to strike up a conversation.

“Pretty good,” Erik replied nonchalantly, crossing his arms. “The year just started and I want it to be over with already,” Y/N mumbled in agreement.

“Yeah, I get that. But hey, just a few more years, and then you can choose never to go back.” Gabe patted his brother's back. “And what about you?” he turned his attention to Y/N “Still a better student than I was?”

She just shrugged her shoulders in response, Erik chimed in for her “Of course she is. She’s even giving out tutoring lessons.” Erik wiggled his eyebrows at her. Y/N deadpanned, keeping the straightest face possible.

“Yeah, for dumb kids like Erik.” She retorted. Erik’s mouth hung open. Gabe laughed in response, slapping him on the back. Erik grumbled in response, swearing that he’d get back at her one of these days.

“It’s okay Erik, I was like that at one point also,” Gabe admitted, before glancing at Sammy- who was focused on the two children happily munching on cookies. “I had some help, from a great tutor actually.” Y/N and Erik glanced at each other awkwardly now, before Gabe had refocused his attention on them.

“What about you Erik? Any luck with the ladies?” Erik slowly blinked, staring at Gabe. “Uhhh..Yeah sure, so much luck,” Erik began awkwardly, before trailing off with a grin. “But I know a certain someone with way better luck than me.”

Y/N spaced out before she realized both Erik and Gabe had turned to look at her now, Erik with a shit-eating grin on his face now. “What?” Y/N blurted out, confused.

"You have a boyfriend?" Gabe exclaimed in shock. "I thought you were all books and stuff! I would've never imagined you getting into a relationship before Erik!"

She didn't know if she should've felt insulted by his idiotic assumption, or felt betrayed by Erik's tattling. "For the last time, we're not dating! Why does everyone believe that we are dating just because we went on a single date."

Gabe laughed at his sister’s frustration, making her frown deepen. “One date leads to another, next thing you know, you’ll be married with two kids!” He laughed. Y/N shivered at the thought of that.

Before she could make her retort, their father walked up to the three. “You two should help your brother bring the bags upstairs. Then we’ll all go out for some dinner.”

“Where are we going?” Erik asked him, a confused frown on his face.

“Fredbear Family Diner. Your mom wanted to take the grandkids there. Something about it will be fun.” He enthusiastically told them, with a pat to Erik’s back. “I honestly don’t care, just as long as the food is good.” A hearty laugh abrupted from both Gabe and their father.

Y/N knew that Michael’s father ran the restaurant but didn’t really think anything of it as she helped bring the luggage cases upstairs. After that, she went to her room to put on some different clothes that fit the occasion more than her pajamas would.

“Come on kids! Let's go!” Their mother screamed from the bottom of the stairs.

Y/N slipped her shoes on quickly before running down the stairs and out the door. Everyone was already getting into the cars. Her mother, Gabe, and the grandkids were taking Gabe’s car. While her father, Sammy, Erik, and her would be taking a different car, due to not everyone being able to fit into one.

Once everyone was seated in the car and got their seat buckled, they started to pull out of the driveway. The car was completely silent for a few moments until Sammy spoke up. “I heard this place is supposed to be fun! Have you guys been before?”

“No, we haven’t,” Their dad spoke up before either Y/N or Erik could say anything. “They’re a bit too grown up for it.”

Erik and Y/N shared an all-knowing glance as their dad and Sammy discussed all the good things they have heard of Fredbear’s Family Diner. Even though the adults were oblivious to the many rumors surrounding the diner, the teens had their own crazy theories about the place. Even though they were marked as crazy, there was some truth behind each one.

The only thing the parents knew, or really cared about, was the incident that happened a year ago. But they all brush it off as “Don’t mess with the animatronics,” and continue on with bringing their children to the place.

So every time their parents suggested they go to the diner, they would say “We’re too old for that kind of stuff.” They knew that their parents would say that their theories were stupid and make them go. Those years of avoiding the place have come to an end.

Once their father parked, he turned around to the two, pulling out some money. “There should be an arcade machine or two in there,” He handed them the money, “If your mother asks, say you found it on the ground or something.”

Sammy only smiled at their father's sweet gesture, thanking him. When they all got out of the car, Erik ran to get next to Y/N. “You better not leave my side.” He whispered to her.

“I’m not, don’t worry. I wouldn’t leave those animatronics to eat you.” She whispered back and Erik snickered as they met up with the other family members that took the other car.

“What are you whispering about?” Their mom questioned them with a suspicious look.

“Nothing!” They both chimed back at her.

She only gave one last glare before taking the grandkid's hands and walking in. When they all got inside, they realized just how packed it was. The majority of the tables were taken and there were small children running around everywhere. There were all sorts of noises coming from the arcade machine and the clatter from the air hockey tables and plates. The music was especially loud, coming from the closed curtains of the stage.

Before anyone could really process all the commotion, Gabe sprinted for a table that a family was just getting up from. “Can we have this table? Since you guys are leaving and all.” Gabe asked.

“Yeah, sure!” The mother said before grabbing her purse and leaving with the rest of her family.

Gabe turned around to the rest of the family with a proud grin on his face. “Now we just need to wait for someone to clean the table off and it's all ours!”

They all looked around for an employee when someone caught Y/N’s eye. It was the kid who sat next to her in English class, that Michael bullied to move. She was surprised to see someone she knew here of all places, but then she looked down to see his Fredbear's Diner uniform.

“Noah!” She called out to get his attention. When he turned to see who was calling him, he saw Y/N pointing at the dirty table. He walked over to the family and Y/N asked, with the most mustered-up politeness as she could. “Can you please clean this off for us?”

“I mean it is my job, so yeah.” He stated depressingly. It was obvious that he didn’t like working there.

“Thank you!” Their mother thanked Noah, but he only nodded his head as he cleaned up everything from them.

He walked off into the back with all the dirty dishes. There he found Michael slacking off, as usual, talking to one of the cooks. Noah found it annoying how he had to do most of the work while Michael sat around and did nothing all day. Michael thinks he’s immune to everything in the building just because his dad owns it, and it pisses Noah off.

“Hey Michael,” he taunted, knowing his feelings towards Y/N from the way that he acted on Monday.

“What the fuck do you want?” Michael sneered. “Can’t you see, I’m having a conversation?”

“Sorry, I was just going to say that I think your girlfriend is out there…” He paused with a grin on his face, knowing that this will get Michael to actually do his job. “Too bad I’m waiting all the tables for you.”

Before Noah could say anything more, Michael was out of the kitchen, notepad, and pen in hand. Once out, he looked around to see where she was.

When he spotted her sitting at the edge of a table, he walked up to the table with a cheeky grin on his face. “Welcome to Fredbear’s Family Diner, I will be your server, Michael,” He pointed to his nametag. Y/N’s heart dropped to her stomach. Are you serious? She’ll have to avoid any sort of eye contact that could last two seconds.

“Oh hey, Michael! I didn’t know you worked here!” Y/N’s mom chimed happily in surprise. “I’m sure Y/N has told you about her older brother, Gabe.” She said pointing to Gabe.

“Yes, she mentioned he would be in town this weekend,” He said, patting Y/N’s shoulder before going to write on his notepad. “What might I get you to drink?”

Y/N didn’t say a word, surprised at the fact that he was here. He wrote down the drink orders of everyone, leaving Y/N for last. “And what might I get for this lovely lady?” He said smoothly while winking at her.

“Oh my lord, you’re so embarrassing.” She mumbled to herself but everyone heard it. “I will take a water.” She replied looking up at him with his sly grin.

“I will get that right out for you.” He addressed the whole table but was only looking at Y/N.

Everyone at the table looked at her with all-knowing eyes. “So is that the guy?” Gabe asked her with a big grin on his face. Y/N’s focus was elsewhere as she played with the napkin in front of her to avoid their curious looks.

“Sadly,” Y/N replied, preparing herself for the teasing.

“He took her out last Saturday. I’ve talked to him over the phone a bit and he seems like a very sweet boy.” Their mother, yet again, chimed into the conversation. Erik laughed at her comment, which was met with a glare from her and Y/N kicking his shin. “What?” She asked with a hum.

"Oh nothing,” Erik covered up quickly.

Before she could question him further, Carmen spoke up. “Grandma, we wanna go play” She annoyingly complained, tugging on her arm sleeve.

Devin complained too “Yeah grandma, take us to go play.” He dragged out the last word with a whine, clinging onto her left leg.

“Okay okay,” She replied to her grandchildren, she got up and replied to Erik. “We’ll talk about it later.”

When she was out of earshot, Erik leaned over to whisper to Y/N. “She’s going to forget.”

Y/N nodded in response. It didn’t take too long for Michael to come out with everyone's drinks. He handed everyone their respective drinks, leaving Y/N for last. Instead of giving her the water she asked for, he placed a milkshake down in front of her with a cheeky grin.

“On the house,” he told her.

“Oh,” she said in surprise “Thanks.” He gave her a wink before asking for the order. “So what can I get you on this fine evening?”

“We’ll just take three large pepperoni pizzas” Their dad ordered for everyone. Michael nodded, jotting down a quick note in a notepad before closing the book within a blink of an eye. He glanced up from her father with a polite nod before redirecting his gaze back to Y/N.

“Alright then! It’ll be out shortly.” He smiled at Y/N once more before heading back to the kitchen to place the order. Erik took the liberty of sliding the milkshake towards him and taking the first sip. “Hey, that was mine!” She yelled at her brother.

“Well, you didn’t order it!” He rebutted.

“Erik!” Their father cut in a scolding tone. “It was for your sister.”

“Exactly, the least you can do is ask.” She told him while scooting the cup back towards her, in the process of doing so, a little slip of paper slid out from under the cup. Thankfully, only she and Erik noticed the little piece of paper. She grabbed it and brought it down to her lap so the adults wouldn’t see.

Erik leaned over to see what was on the note. The note read “Break in 5, meet me out back” with a little winky face next to it. While Y/N didn’t really want to leave the family gathering, she also didn’t want to be embarrassed any further.

“Dad, we’re going to go play some games.” She told her father while grabbing Erik’s shoulders to say “let's go.”

“Alright, if your mother sees you and asks where the money came from-” They both cut him off before he could finish.

“We found it on the ground.” The siblings said in unison.

They walked over to the arcade with the five-dollar bill in hand. They walked over to the coin machine and put the paper in to get the equivalent in coins. They split the coins evenly between the two.

“So you’re not going to go make out with your boyfriend behind the building?” Erik teased her.

"Ew!" She quickly replied, "And seriously, stop calling him my boyfriend. We're not dating yet."

They both walked over to two Pac-man machines that sat next to each other. They inserted the coin into the machine and they started playing while continuing to talk. “I thought that you were going to go hang out with Michael.” Erik reiterated without teasing.

“I am,” she replied as she focused on the game in front of her. “I just can’t get up and walk out the door, Dad and the others would question where I was going.”

“And the reason as to why you can’t just say it is…” he trailed off waiting for the answer.

“Because you all are so embarrassing about it.” She explained shortly. “I would never hear the end of it.”

She started getting cornered by all the Ghosts, and all of her focus was put on not dying. She almost succeeded, until she felt someone grab her shoulder. It scared her, causing her to lose her focus and died. She turned to see the person who made her fail, and she was met with Michael’s idiotic face. “Ready to go?” He asked like they were going farther than just out back.

Erik quickly turned to her, panicking. “Wait you can’t just leave me here alone! We promised-”

She looked over at Erik, then at Michael, debating about what to do. She did want to talk with Michael, and it would only be a few minutes. “Just go back to the table and we can continue playing when I get back! I’ll be gone for less than ten minutes.”

“Ugh fine, but give me some of your coins as payment.” He bargained.

She grabbed a random amount of coins from her pile that was laid on the machine and handed it to Erik, before putting the rest in her pocket. She turned back to Michael, motioning for him to lead the way.

He started to lead her toward the kitchen. He turned to look at her a few times while walking along the way. “I’m surprised to see you here!” He exclaimed.

“My mom wanted to bring my niece and nephew here and so I was forced to come.” She explained sheepishly. That was in fact the truth, she didn’t come here for herself after all. She didn’t want to seem excited to see Michael, especially in front of her family.

Once he entered the kitchen with her following, he announced to the other workers “I’m taking my break out back, I’ll be back in ten.” Noah gave an annoyed glare, knowing that he would have to pick up the slack while Michael was gone. Once outside, Michael leaned against the wall, a few feet from the door. Y/N followed, leaning next to him. It didn’t take long for her to realize why they had to meet outside for his break as he pulled a cigarette box and lighter out of his back pocket.

“I can give you some money back,” He said, seemingly out of nowhere “Since your brother took some from you.” He explained further after seeing her confused expression.

“Oh- there’s really no need for that.” She quickly told him, since she didn’t really see it as a big deal.

But he continued on “No really, it’s not a problem! I can even get you more. Whenever my father makes me clean out the money in the arcade machines I tend to take a few dollars worth of coins!” He explained like it was some big accomplishment and he was super rich for it.

Y/N gave him a deadpan face as he just admitted stealing from his dad. “Don’t you think he’ll notice?”

“No, it’s not like he sees how much money was in the machine before I take it out,” He shrugged as he continued to smoke the cigarette.

She really didn’t know what to say to that, so she just continued on. “I don’t need it, my dad gave us the money anyways, so it’s not like I’m losing anything.”

He shrugged his shoulders “Alright then, but the offer still stands.”A puff of smoke escaped from his lip. Y/N’s nose scrunched slightly, but she ignored it.

Things went quiet for a moment before she spoke up again. “How long have you been working here? I knew your father owned the place but I didn’t know you actually worked here.”

“Uh, a few months or so. Officially anyways.” He stomped out his cigarette and turned to her. “I’ve been helping him with this place ever since he opened it, but it was never for pay. After I got my car, he started to pay me. Gotta pay for gas somehow.”

She thought about how hard it must be for him to work here after last year's incident, but he didn’t seem to mind. She wanted to ask about it but decided that it would be best not to bring it up out of the blue.

“I was surprised to see Noah here too.” She added. “I didn’t think you knew each other outside of English class.”

Michael grimaced at the mention of his name. “Yep- my father’s ‘favorite employee’” he seethed out. “He gets employee of the month every single time.”

Y/N chuckled at his complaint. “Well maybe if you didn’t steal money, you could get employee of the month too!” She joked.

“It’s not just that.” He didn’t find her joke funny. “He’s a showoff that just decides to do way more than he needs to.”Michael chose not to tell her the full truth about Noah mainly picking up his slack.

She can tell how upset the topic was making him so she tried to see the brighter side of things. “Well, at least you don’t have to do as much work!”

“...Yeah,” he thought for a moment, bored of the subject. He leaned against the cement wall, his eyes landed on her once again. Watching her for a few moments. “But I would’ve never expected to see such a pretty lady show up at my workplace.” He flirted with her, inching a bit closer. He was already within her space, watching her nervous reaction as she avoided his gaze now.

“...The only pretty ladies you see here anyway are probably moms with kids anyway.” She laughed awkwardly, in an attempt to change the subject. She’s definitely going to cry to herself about this interaction later. She was embarrassed by his comment and tried to change the subject to stop herself from becoming a stuttering mess. “So did you ever get the grade on your English essay back?”

Michael stared back at her in thought. “I did. After school on Friday, I went to her and asked if she graded it.” He informed her.

She waited for him to say what he got, but he didn’t. “And?” She pressed on, eyebrows furrowed now.

“I got a D!” He exclaimed happily. “So I’ll be sitting next to you from now on in English.” He had a giant grin on his face.

“In any other scenario, I’d be concerned about you being so excited over a D.” She laughed.

"Well, we’ll be spending more time together so it makes me very happy.” He inched a bit closer to her without her noticing. “Speaking of, for our next date I was thinking about-”

Before he could continue, the door to the pizzaria slammed open as a tall, scary looking man came out. By the expression on his face, she could tell he was extremely pissed. Michael slightly tensed up at the sight of the man. Y/N presumed it was his father, from the rumors. Comparing the two business partners she had heard of previously, William had always seemed to have an intense presence everywhere he went.

“Michael. Inside. Now.” William threatened.

“I’m taking my break!” Michael fought back in annoyance.

Y/N felt very awkward being in the middle of this father-son argument. William still stood there, not wanting to deal with Michael’s attitude. “You took a break less than an hour ago. Noah has been picking up your slack yet again.” His tone was aggressive and dark, which scared Michael.

He turned back to Y/N. “Sorry.” He sadly muttered before quickly kissing her on the cheek and quickly walking inside.

William watched his son walk back into the building, but didn’t move an inch. His stare dragged from Michael to her, his eyes cold now. If the death glare wasn’t so chilling, she would be blushing over Michael’s small peck on her cheek. She was stuck in place out of fear as she met his cold gaze in return. The stare lasted for a few seconds too long before he walked into the building, slamming the door behind him. She stood there for a few more moments, letting everything that happened sink in. Everything gave her an uncomfortable feeling.

She then realized that she now had to get in through the front door. She awkwardly walked around the side of the building, entering through the front door quickly so the rest of her family doesn’t see.

“Where were you?” Her mother asked as she got back to the table. “Erik said he couldn’t find you in the arcade.”

The pizza had already arrived and everyone started eating. “...I was in the bathroom.” She responded as she sat at the table. They all dropped their suspicions as soon as she said that, continuing to eat their pizza and went back to their conversations.

“You okay?” Erik leaned over, whispering in her ear. “You look uncomfortable.”

“His dad is scary.” That was all she said before she grabbed a piece and brought it to her plate before eating. She could barely eat, forcing herself to chew as she thought to herself absentmindedly. She felt as if she constantly saw William lurking around after that, watching her from a distance. The unsettling feeling carried on through the rest of the night.

Hello everyone! I have some kind of important news!

Over the past four or five years I have enjoyed writing for all of you. All the wonderful people I have met and all the things I have accomplished!

As many of you know, I have some unfinished stories.

However, I am struggling to update because I am not as passionate about this account as I was.

I, will not be writing anymore. I understand if many of you decide to not support the account anymore.

I will be giving this account to my friend. She is a very talented author, younger than me, however. So I have a blurb she has written about herself, and I’m sure that you will enjoy her writing.

“Hi! Im not comfortable giving my name on the internet but my usernames on most things is Devine.Scribe! I’m 17 years old, I’m starting college in two weeks majoring in history and minoring in poli sci. I’m from Puerto Rico as well, and know Spanish! Like my friend, I am more than willing to write for ethnic or plus size reader, because I am BOTH OF THOSE 🙌

It has saddened me to see my friend lose interest in their writing, and seeing them struggle with their life irl, and struggle with not being able to have a more consistent uploading schedule.

I promise I will not A, delete any of their works without expressed permission, and B, make their account into something they wouldn’t have wanted. We have similar writing styles.

I have been tasked with, when I’m able to, finish writing their stories (such as 100 Promises, and My Sunshine) but also to create my own stories that I have loved to make. I also only write xreaders, but for different fandoms!

Upfronts 2018 (ABC): Nuevas series, renovaciones y cancelaciones

Solo cuatro de las once series nuevas que encargó ABC el año pasado han conseguido una renovación. Incluso sus tres series estrenadas en verano, que se encargaron hace dos años, no pasaron el filtro. La cadena sigue dando palos de ciego mandando a la basura trece pilotos y esperando un milagro como el del regreso de Roseanne. Entre sus novedades destacan el fichaje de Lauren Cohan, que aparecerá en seis episodios más de The Walking Dead y tiene permiso para firmar nuevos acuerdos con AMC, y la fecha de estreno de Take Two, que se encargó en noviembre y comienza a emitirse el próximo mes de junio.

A Million Little Things

El drama se centra en un grupo de amigos de Boston, con vidas totalmente distintas pero todas estancadas, que deciden empezar a vivir de verdad tras la inesperada muerte de uno de ellos. Take Two

Ella (Rachel Bilson; The O.C., Hart of Dixie) es la antigua protagonista de una serie de policías que, tras una juerga de proporciones épicas, ha tenido que abandonar la rehabilitación. Desesperada por retomar su carrera, se convierte en la sombra de un detective privado (Eddie Cibrian; CSI: Miami, Rosewood) usándolo como investigación para la interpretación de algún futuro papel. Aunque él no está muy dispuesto a trabajar de niñero, la chica demuestra su valía gracias a doscientos episodios ejerciendo de detective, y la prensa se encarga de promocionar a la pareja como un dúo muy solvente. Es una procedimental de Andrew W. Marlowe, el creador de Castle, que cuenta también con Aliyah O'Brien (Beyond, Bates Motel), Alice Lee (Faking It, Switched at Birth) y Xavier de Guzman.

Por su parte, la comedia de Kenya Barris que la cadena encargó en diciembre volvió a fase de piloto cuando Alec Baldwin leyó el guion y rechazó protagonizarla, y salió del ciclo de pilotos por los problemas para encontrar un nuevo protagonista. Tal vez nunca llegue a realizarse.
