Bout to muse about something that is part headcanon part canon events
ă
€
Tails is finally saved from his bullies by the (currently) small time hero he admires
Tails stalks follows his hero, uses his mechanical knowledge to improve Sonic's plane
While Tails follows Sonic around, even on dangerous journeys, the hedgehog keeps an eye out for the younger fox behind him, keeping him from being in too much danger
Sonic leads by example, demonstrating to Tails how to fight, and Tails runs maintenance on Sonic's plane and teaches him how to read
Soon enough, they become softly inseparable. Even if they can't adventure side by side (although they do more often than not), Sonic keeps contact with Tails whenever he can.
They strengthen each other's weak points. Where Tails lacks in raw strength, Sonic makes up for it with experience and speed. Where Sonic lacks in firepower, Tails has a machine, a gadget, or the technical know-how to take one. Sonic often rushes into danger, fighting without thinking too hard, but Tails' specialty is strategizing or making plans, and he's one of the few who can slow Sonic down enough to make sure he's prepared. And where Sonic supports Tails by being a force of nature, someone who can roll with the punches and execute one of Tails' plans with complete trust or faith, Tails also supports Sonic by understanding what he cannot, by crafting plans when Sonic is at a loss for how to proceed. They have such unwavering faith and trust in each other's abilities now.
Where Sonic is a hero, Tails is his own kind of hero, saving the people only he can save, helping in the ways only he can help. They support each other. They look out for each other. Even if Sonic is a force on his own, or Tails can go on solo adventures, they're more effective when they're together.
And no matter how things change as they grow, the people who come and go, the two of them are a constant. Sonic and Tails, ever at each other's sides.
#sonic the hedgehog#sontails#unbreakable bond#miles tails prower#tails the fox#i just be ramblin#Sorry they just make me emotional and insane#Although really the only thing that's solidly a headcanon and not either canon or my reading of them is that Tails teaches Sonic how to read#Despite them being 'hero and sidekick' I always like to think that as they grew (both up and closer to each other) and as time passed#they maintained this push and pull. They slotted into place as partners that support each other and help where the other falters#And really no matter what happens relationship wise or life wise with the two of themâ I can only imagine that they still live and fight#together#Tails could get married and Sonic would still crash at his place and Tails would still keep food for him#Sonic could get married and/or have a kid with someone and Tails would move right in with them (if they don't just straight up stay with#Tails)#No matter what happens I can never see them not at each other's sides#And of course I like the idea of Tails starting out a bit more codependent but ultimately someone who works to support Sonic so he can#continue to be needed/wanted and be at his sideâ while Sonicâ who initially believes that he let Tails into his life and is protecting himâ#grows more secretly codependent. I think Tails is aware of how important Sonic is in his life (even if Tails has interests and wants and#whatnot outside of him)#while Sonic is...the kind of guy who believes that he chooses to keep Tails by his sideâ but whose world would also begin to crumble if#Tails disappeared (and I think Sonic Prime gives me pretty good ammo with that)#Gaaaaaah they just fascinate me. they fascinate međ„șđđ

Dark Blue Moon and the Suffering Sun chapter 37
Hey guys! I'm so sorry I haven't been updating the series on tumblr. If you want to see all my fics, i always update them on ao3. That said, I hope you enjoy this! leave a comment and reblog if u do qwq
Here's the ao3 link if you prefer to read it over there!
And here's the masterpost <3
Or keep reading to read the chapter here <3
It had been a week since Damian was taken by Skulker, since Danny had to flee for his life from Amity Island, and since precious secrets were blown wide open by Bruce freaking Wayne and the Fenton parents.
Now Tuckerâs parents and Samâs knew about their illicit aquatic activities after school (and during school if he was gonna be honest), and had put them under house arrest for the time being. Tucker cursed the himbo billionaire under his breath, careful not to alert his mother and draw agro (sheâd taken to personally driving him to school during his grounding).
He admired the man! Sam admired him! And then he went and did them dirty, all because he believed the same baseless propaganda Dannyâs parents and the GiW were peddling. That all sirens were ruthless evil killers blah blah blah etc etc insert more blahing here.
Just when you think there might be one decent billionaire in the world, huh?
And yeah, he realises that he couldâve avoided all this suspicion and drama from his parents if heâd just decided to stay further back and not be so active helping Danny, but seriously? Abandon his BFF in times of need? Tucker was many things, but he was not some traitor. He saw the way Valâs friends jumped ship the moment she lost her job, and he would never, ever do Danny the way they did Val.
It could be worse. Mr Wayne couldâve spilled the beans to the whole town, or even the GiW, and then the whole trio would get to be dissected together, joy, but he didnât. He had to give the man credit for not being as completely awful as he couldâve been (Tucker still hated the man, though).
And, of course, Dannyâs secret couldâve been outed. For all he beat himself up over the last week, Tucker took solace in one fact, that at least he and Sam had managed to prevent the biggest secret of their lives from leaking, even if some smaller ones got out.
When Danny got home, he was so gonna celebrate with a million Nasty Burgers.
As for the situation in Amity Island, well.
The ground rocked from an explosion. Tucker gripped his seat. Outside the car, two GiW trucks rushed in after a trio of hydropuses. An agent leaned out from the window of the leading truck, firing wild shots that left craters in the pavement, and none of which that hit the hydropuses.
Even though the bigger names seemed to have abandoned ship (hehe) for the time being, there were still the occasional small fry, namely generic oceanic monsters that wouldâve taken Danny (or Sam, or hell, even Tuck with a wrist ray) seconds to beat back.
He didnât miss the way his motherâs grip tightened ever so slightly on the steering wheel. Yikes. Despite being a whole week, his parents had not cooled down in the slightest.
Part of it hurt. It was like there was one flick of a switch and suddenly his own parents thought he was in cahoots with a supervillain. They never had any strong opinions on Phantom before! Why now? The past week had left him with a much more intimate understanding of Samâs rebellion.
They drove past the Gastons in White and continued up to school without much more ado, the car ride silent as it had been for the last week. Once they arrived at Caspian High, Tucker shuffled out of the car, with the unreadable stare of his mother going down on his back and ignored to the best of his ability.
If home was tense, school was a mine field that only grew more treacherous. Day after day, he and Sam watched sides form and solidify in the school hallways and in the teacherâs lounges. Was Phantom a hero? Did Phantom kidnap and/or kill the D kids?
Was Danny his accomplice, or his sidekick?
Neither of them could stand back. Sam practically threw herself into passionately defending both of Dannyâs names. If they couldnât fight the sea monsters, then theyâd fight the tides of public opinion.
Seemed Sam had gotten a head start today.
âYouâre just jealous your loser crush is gay for Phantom instead of you.â
That statement made Tucker feel a lot of things, and comfortable was not one of them. A crowd had gathered around Dash and Sam, two people who were together in the âPhantom is not evilâ crowd but clashed about as often as if they werenât thanks to their very different opinions on Danny Fenton.
âThere is so much wrong with that statement you couldnât be more wrong than Chamberlain. Firstly, thatâs disgusting. Danny was kidnapped. Secondly, YOU HAVE A SHRINE TO PHANTOM IN YOUR ROOM.â
Seemed like Dash couldnât lay off the bullying even as kids were beginning to wonder if Danny was straight up dead. Like, wow. Sure the first 48 hours is the best chance to find a missing person, but there was literally no reason to think Danny would have kicked the bucket right now.
If you ignore the fact that, without knowing what he and Sam knew, there was a 99% chance that some siren did it, even if it wasnât Phantom. And the fact that he was the son of siren hunters. And the fact that most people believed sirens were bloodthirsty maneaters.
Well, when put that way, sure he and Sam looked like grief-ridden lunatics grasping at straws, but you know what? Tucker was never, ever one to care about his public image (that was a complete lie).
âItâs not a shrine, itâs a dedication, and itâs manly as fuck. The heroic spirit, the manly vibes, the body of an Olympic swimmer, no, god!â Dash swooned.
Tucker pushed his way through the crowd in time to see Sam doubling over and gagging like she had a stone in her throat, and he was right there with her.
For one, Danny definitely did not have the body of an Olympic anything. That shit was reserved for guys like Superman who didnât get shot by the government on a daily basis. 99% of what Danny ate just went into healing what little muscle he had on him.
âIâm sure Phantomâs heroic spirit would really appreciate you badmouthing Danny while heâs literally missing.â Oh boy, that was 10% more venom than Samâs normal. Time to pull out and fast.
âPhantom wouldnât care for a twink like Danny, whoâs way below his league, and I bet Fentina knew it too. Hell, Iâd bet Fentina did a Fentumble into the water once he realised how hopeless his life was.â
Oh shit. Tucker sprinted.
Due to some sorcerery-related mumbo jumbo he half-got, a good punch from Sam would literally turn Dashâs nose into a pan cake and send the jock spinning like a ballerina, and as satisfying as that would be in the moment, they really didnât need to give their parents any more reason to be angry.
Tucker jumped in front of Samâs advancing fist, which was one of the most terrifying things he had ever laid eyes on, only for the crystalised death to halt a millimeter from his face.
âGet out of the way, Tucker.â Samâs face contorted something fierce.
âY-yeah! Get out of the way, Foley. A real man can fight his own battles, thank you very much.â
âShut up, Dash!â Both she and Tucker shouted.
Tucker gave Sam a look. Sam glanced to the side, and the fighting stance shifted into casual dismissal. âWhatever. Who needs to punch a ticking time bomb when itâll destroy itself in time?â
âI have no idea what that means, Manson, but you wanna say that again to my face?â Dash shouted, which Tucker found hilarious, seeing as Sam literally just did that.
The duo retreated from the crowd and into the school, with Samâs glare keeping anyone from following them. The thing, or person, that Tucker saw? Valerie Gray, whoâd been on sick leave for the last week, and still looking objectively terrible.
With attacks still happening, the GiW causing more problems than they solve, and the daunting tides of public opinion, there was still a lot to do for Tucker Foley and Sam Manson back at home.
âAlright, just click, like this.â Danny let out a bat-like click from the back of his mouth. The echoed far and wide and reverberated across the water. Miliseconds later, the sound returned in loose, uneven patches in between more delayed and smooth echoes. âThe earlier they come back, the closer the object is. The first bit was for the whale pod. The second part tells us the terrain is flat. Now you do it.â
Damian closed his eyes underneath his blindfold, and produced the same sound. The echo tickled his outstretched ear fins, dozens of nuggets of information packed to within the span of a millisecond. âI can see it, almost. Or hear it.â
âOk, then. Whatâs in front of us?â
The younger boy stilled in his seated position atop his folded tail. He focused on the way his scales tingled with sensitive touch upon the mother whaleâs skin, how the gentle current tickled his fins, and how his ear fins latched onto each and every sound. Danny had also taken the liberty of wrapping him up tight with cloth in order to block off his lateral line, and prevent him from relying on that. Damian called out three times, and three times did the sound return to him. Without sight, his ears picked out something that felt distinct and rigid, sharp even. There was also the slightest variation in one of the pitches across the three echoes. He turned his head to the direction of that shape, and called again.
âOne of the calves is in front of us. From their size and speed, I think it is Runt.â
âBingo!â Danny clapped. âYouâre getting good at this.â
Damian beamed with pride so much that even his fins puffed up. âI was born to excel.â
âYou rich kids and your egos.â Danny sighed with fondness. âRight, letâs try some harder targets. How many fingers am holding up?â
The smaller siren noted the stronger scent from Danny from his outstretched hand. âYou call that difficult?â Damian chirped a low note. âEasy. Four.â
âUhh⊠No. Try bobbing your head side to side.â
Damianâs cheeks heated, and he shook his head strongly. âThat sounds ridiculous and juvenile. Laughable, even.â
âI mean it! Helps you get perspective and stuff. Ever heard of the parallax effect? Itâs like, one of the most important navigational tools ever.â
âI am well aware, however, I do not need such a crutch.â
âUh uh, and how many fingers am I holding up?â
Damian clicked, and answered. âSix!â
âNope.â
Chirp. âFive.â
Another call. âGuess again.â
âNine?â
âDude, that was not even close. You sure youâre actually hearing my fingers, and not my ear fins?â
Damian pouted. âOf course not!â He said, while also focusing closer on where he believed Dannyâs hands were held up. His next call resounded sharply off the ridges of a membrane, what he hoped was his friendâs hand webbing and not his fin membranes. A soft echo returned, then a slightly louder one. âIs it two this time?â
âYayyy! You did great!â Then came the sound of clapping. Damian hissed and snapped his teeth on whatever was in front of him. He did not catch them, judging by the empty feeling in his mouth and the whooshing of water.
âDo not patronise me.â
âI wasnât! Just a pointer. Try a higher note. Itâll help get the smaller details, thanks to a shorter wavelength.â
The younger boy tutted, although inwardly he berated himself for not thinking of such an idea sooner. When everything about your body is new, the minutiae of optimal behaviour tend to slip away from you.
âI knew thatâŠâ
âYeah yeah, how many fingers?â
This time, Damian focused his voice into a piercing note an octave above his previous attempts. The feedback resulted in something akin to image, but which was felt, not seen. He could tell that it was definitely more than two fingers, but the shape was blurry to him.
So he sighed, and privately admitted defeat. This echolocation practice had been going for a good hour, and he was itching to make proper progress. With a resigned slump, Damian shifted his head to the right, and clicked again. The returning echo gave him another look on the hand, a wide shape suggesting a fully fanned webbed hand, but it was narrow, as if the thumb was down.
âFour,â he decided.
âTold you so,â Danny said with a snicker.
Damian swiped his hand at Danny, and smirked when his claws caught a couple scales, much to the other boyâs shrieking surprise.
On the deck of the SAV, Jack Fenton hammered in the last adjustment to the Fenton Siren Spy Drone. The spy droneâs design was Maddieâs stroke of genius. Heâd been trying to perfect a compact and light design that caused minimal disturbance to the local environment, but just couldnât get the thing to be silent. Then Maddie proposed a whole new propulsion system, and suddenly it was as quiet as a mouse! Then Brucie came in and suggested some ideas from Wayne Eâs RD department for a more aerodynamic frame
And that was a good thing, because the less their targets knew about their observation, the better. This last week had shoved in their face just how little they understood about sirens in general, and the one they were pursuing.
He couldnât get the image of Danny out of his mind, his boy being trapped and alone. Brucie had hit up his contacts in Panama seeing if they could help with the search on land, but there was no news yet. He wondered if what Mads saw was just a trick by another suffering sirenito; even she was beginning to doubt it.
As Jack stepped back from the spy drone, and tested its controls, he had to wonder just how long will it take to find their boys.

To anyone who grew up for years without having a soulmate, and might possibly have one suddenly (and especially someone who already has one), thereâs only one place to go to.Â
The internet.Â
For hours you scrolled through forums, looking for answers. No one so far has spoken about your experience being shared. From what youâve researched, no one has ever not had a soulmate and then suddenly have one. To be honest, youâre not one hundred percent sure that Bakugou is actually yours your soulmate. You see him in your dreams, sure. Thatâs the first checkmark. But what everyone has ever told you, the absolute feeling of just knowing theyâre yours and being drawn to them, itâs been unclear. Yeah, coincidentally you see him a lot. But your agencies are close by and heâs a top five hero. Everywhere you read, all the forums youâve filtered through, none of them are helping you.Â
What you read only made the anxiety in your belly gnaw deeper in you. Thereâs been cases of soulmates already belonging to another, they call it the Triangle Phenomenon. You scour through the countless cases of these love triangles, heart wrenching as you read the hopeless telling their stories. Eventually itâs too depressing, the salt of your tears sting the back of your throat and thereâs a piercing migraine behind your eyes now.Â
You decide to just go to sleep for the first time in weeks.Â
-(-)-
Ocean waves. Itâs all you can see. Pastel waters, glimmering under the sunrise. You can feel the waves lapping at your ankles, the smell of salt in the wind whips through your hair.Â
Seagulls cry around you as you stare down the waves. Before, you would look at the ocean and think of no one. Thereâs an old wives tale that says that your true love will be the one you think when you look at the ocean. An immense beauty, who else would you think of? You stare at the ocean, your feet sinking into the sand.Â
You didnât have anyone you were desperately and embarrassingly in love with, you never thought of anyone. Not even your fiancĂ©.Â
You feel someone step next to you, cursing under their breath when the waves crash too high against their legs.Â
Itâs him again.Â
You turn away, not wanting to confirm what you already know.Â
Your heart cries out apologies.Â
-(-)-
You wake up with tears dotting the corners of your eyes again, a heavy arm is wrapped around your waist and you forget what it was that you were dreaming.Â
Thereâs an email on your work computer from Fatgumâs agency, offering you to join their team as a lead sidekick with a contract thatâll guarantee you debuting as a pro-hero. Itâs not uncommon that low ranking heroes start over as sidekicks, youâve even seen them succeed. Itâs humiliating for you though.  You were doing so well, you were rising in the ranks before you met Tamaki and then you felt that fire start to smolder. What happened to you?  Before you can even stop yourself, you delete the offer before finding the email over and start the application. All despite what your heart tells you.Â
-(-)-
Youâre aching as he stretches you out. Itâs been so long since you and him have been together like this, his cock stroking against your insides and his hands tight on your hips. It feels good, you almost even miss it. Tamaki huffs and moans quietly as he thrusts, whispering âI love youâsâ that you canât bring yourself to say back.Â
Your mind wanders, and you think how much you want to stop. Yet you canât stop your hands from gripping his shoulders, your hips rise to meet his and you let out soft mewls. The pressure of fire in your belly rises and it all feels amazing, it feels amazing, it feels amazing, it feels so amazing you canât help but moan that over and over again in his ear. Are you trying to convince yourself?Â
You want to stop. But youâre so lonely. Your body betrays you, your hands grip tighter and you stay quiet.Â
-(-)-
Itâs in the room with you. Youâre hiding, hands covering your mouth as you try to control your breathing.Â
It groans and whines, itâs garbling shocks fear down to the marrow of your bones.Â
Itâs tall, ten feet high with sticky, grey skin. Itâs looking for you.Â
All around thereâs mirrors, you donât know how or why but you know that if you catch itâs eyes in the reflection youâre a goner. Donât let it see you, donât look at it or it will-
It screams and you struggle to keep quiet as sobs start to rock through you. It walks through the dark room on its tiptoes, three claws tap the hardwood floor, hunching over trying to find you. From the corner of your eyes, you watch it slip away. You lose track of it when itâs suddenly quiet in the room, the buzz of horror still sweltering around your ears. You want to keep looking for it, you whip your head around and regret it. Itâs behind you, waiting for you to make the fatal mistake of looking directly at it.Â
A heavy hand covers your eyes, calloused and warm. âDonât move.âÂ
Sputtering out cries, you both move backwards blindly outside the room. You donât look at your savior, your mind races at what couldâve been if he hadnât been there. Remembering yourself, you turn to face him with grateful tears and a quivering lip. Everything about him is familiar, and you open your mouth to say his name with relief sweet on your tongue-
âKatsuki,â your words are slurred with thick sleep still.Â
-(-)-
The nightmares donât stop.Â
-(-)-
Weeks in and youâre doing phenomenal for a sidekick. You pretend it doesnât bother you, that you donât notice how your smile never reaches your eyes and how youâre brimming with restlessness. Youâve picked up horrible habits, drinking coffee when itâs three in the morning and smoking cigarettes on your balcony, fingers drumming against the railing as you pretend that youâre not hiding from your dreams.  Tamaki notices, of course he notices. He isnât sure what to do with you, and as much as you feel bad for him, you donât do anything to help calm his nerves. He sits with you, on the balcony, pretending to not mind the smell of your chain smoking. His hands are always tight around your waist, almost as if heâs afraid you might just jump.  At least with your new job posting, you use your quirk more. You use it so much that youâve started being told to quit it. Pull your punches. Donât go overboard. Itâs never to say that you shouldnât do your job, but with all the recent trips to the medics in your new agency building, needless to say that everyone is starting to get concerned for you. Sleep deprivation and a nicotine habit isnât a great look apparently.  Tamaki is positive though, he holds your hand (metaphorically when youâre having rounds) and smiles encouragingly. It riddles you deep with guilt, watching how much he tries to make you happy and seeing him fail to realize that you canât ever be when everyone is telling you to not stand so tall.Â
Youâre the sun. Not him.Â
And yet youâre still hiding in his shadows.Â
He brings you on cases, you both eat meals together now. You both go home together. Longing for a home that doesnât exist.
You wake up together. You both pretend that your dreams arenât haunting you.Â
-(-)-
As soon as you see his blonde hair, you turn away. You canât even enjoy the beach now, the sunset sky and the lavender waves taunt you as you walk away from it.Â
He never goes after you. He never tries to speak to you. You pretend to not notice the pain in his eyes as you leave him again. He pretends to not see the tears in your eyes.Â
Thereâs a lot of pretending lately.Â
-(-)-
Itâs in the room with him. Heâs hiding, hands covering his mouth as he tries to control his breathing.Â
It groans and whines, its garbling shocks fear down to the marrow of his bones. Itâs tall, ten feet high with sticky, grey skin. Itâs looking for him, Katsuki realizes in horror.
All around thereâs mirrors, Bakugou doesn't know how or why but he knows that if he catches its eyes in the reflection heâs a goner. Donât let it see him, donât look at it or it will-
It screams and Bakugouâs fingers dig into his thighs as he struggles to keep still. Every nerve is on fire, the hairs on the back of his neck stand and he swears this could be the end. It walks through the dark room on its tiptoes, three claws tap the hardwood floor, hunching over trying to find him.Â
From the corner of his eyes, he watches it slip away. Katsuki loses track of it when itâs suddenly quiet in the room, the buzz of horror still sweltering around his ears. He wants to keep looking for it, but when he whips his head around, he instantly regrets it. Itâs behind Katsuki, waiting for him to make the fatal mistake of looking directly at it.Â
A hand covers his eyes, soft and warm. âDonât move.âÂ
Bakugou reaches behind him and squeezes at their hip as they both move out of the room blindly, careful to not bump into any of the furniture. Sweet relief, itâs cold and light on his tongue like the iced tea he and father used to drink during the summer.
As soon as the door closes, lock latched, the monster screaming in frustration at losing once again, Bakugou turns to face them.Â
âBambi, what would I do without you?â He grins.Â
âHad to repay you for all that saving youâve done for me,â you respond.Â
-(-)-
Tamaki helps you kick your little cigarette habit. You didnât even smoke for that long, and you tell yourself this as your knee bounces under your desk and you stare at your work computer. Heroes filter in and out, taking smoke breaks. You notice it more now, how everyone smokes. God, are you talking about smoking too much?  You stick another nicotine patch under the sleeve of your costume.Â
One night after a long shift, youâre caught atop of a bridge overlooking the local park. You donât really know how you missed the sounds of his heavy boots, but after this particularly dreadful shift, who can blame you?Â
âYou know those things can kill people right?â His voice makes you jump out of your skin, dropping the lit cigarette from between your fingers.Â
With a heavy, defeated sight, you rub the toe of your thick boot over it and glare at Katsuki. âYeah and? Do you make it a habit of sneaking up on people or do you save that for scaring the shit out of everyone?â
His eyebrows furrow at your tone and Bakugou leans against the bridge railing with you. He crosses his arms, one still in its compression sleeve but now itâs orange instead of black, and unintentionally (allegedly) showing off his thick ropes of muscle. You both watch the river lazily making its way through the park. Bakugou scoffs when you reach for another cigarette from its pack and snatches it away from your hands, ignoring your annoyed cries.Â
âThe fuck did I just say?â He knocks his knuckles against your temple softly before holding out his hand expectedly. For a moment you hesitate, not knowing his intentions and you panic that others will see his silent offer to hold your hand.Â
âGive it, dumbass, or else Iâll just take it from you.â His eyes glance at the carton box in your hands and your cheeks warm. Soundlessly, you hand it over. âWhat happened?â
âNothing,â you lie.
âLiar.â How did he know that? you wonder. Witch.
You ponder over if you should just keep up the act of pretending, but the mere thought of telling one more lie today exhausts you even further. âWe lost a civilian today. A kid.â Flashes of his face burn through your retinas, his horror as you both realize that you and the rest of the heroes were too late. You tightly shut your eyes, hoping the tears wonât come just yet.Â
âI heard,â his voice is lower and softer now. Katsukiâs hands fiddle with the carton box and you think back to the days in class, watching him spin and twirl his pencils around his fingers with ease. You paid a lot more attention to him than you thought. âWhereâs Elf Ears?â
âStill in the field, he sent me home.â Your fingers itch to grab the box back, your nerves are fried and you need anything to calm them. Instead you watch his hands, rhythmically opening and closing the box as he gets lost in thought.Â
âWhat, he thinks you canât handle a casualty?â I canât, you almost say. But what then, were all those years of training for? You were all trained to handle these things, you all had the psych rotations on how to deal with the heaviness and loss that comes with the job.Â
âI think he's doing what he thinks is best for me,â you answer carefully. Instead of looking at the man next to you, you keep your eyes ahead of you and watch the sunset over the park. The sunlight streaks through the leaves with gold.
âWhat do you think is best for you?â Bakugou challenges.Â
âTo go back out there and work,â you answer honestly, finally looking over at him.
âThen letâs go save some extras.â His devilish grin only grows wider when you roll your eyes.Â
-(-)-
He wanted to make sure you found Tamaki again, wanting you to reunite with your fiancĂ© and teammate so you can continue your mission. But other heroes cross your paths and stop Dynamite, insisting that he helped with a red zone instead. Itâs only for a split second, but you catch his hesitance. He glances at you, but you reassure him youâre fine. Katsuki leaves, still apprehensive.  You take in the scene again, alone now.Â
A massive sinkhole taking up nearly three blocks and taking down all the buildings into it along with hundreds of civilians if not thousands. It's a disaster everywhere. Sounds of sirens, screaming, crying, water rushing through broken pipes, itâs overwhelming. Pure chaos.  You think of the little boy, hope gone from his expression as you and the other sidekicks try to think of a way to get the collapsed building off his body. He didnât cry, you remember. The most you could do was hold his hand, wait until a hero could help or for the medic to arrive.Â
âWhat are you doing here??â  You turn and find Tamaki panicking at your presence on scene again, quickly he pulls you away from the sinkhole and examines you.  âAre you hurt, are you okay?â His hands cup your cheeks and you pull away, agitated.Â
âIâm fine, Tama.â You hold out your arms placatingly. He's beyond panicked, actually, you realize. Tamaki is scared.Â
âYou have to evacuate, that's an order. We just got more intel that this is a lot more unstable than we first thought.â
âI canât stay home and do nothing while everyone does what we were trained for. Where can I help-?â A massive explosion knocks you both down, shaking the ground beneath you. Thereâs a horrifying realization that the sinkhole is widening, two seconds too late. You feel Tamakiâs arms wrap around you, cushioning the blow of falling three stories down. The wind is knocked out from his lungs and you hear his back break beneath you.Â
He mumbles something, too low for you to hear. âWhat? Whatâd you say??âÂ
âAre you okay?â He croaks. Thereâs a whine of metal grinding against metal, interrupting you both. Looking up you see an ambulance that used to be just behind you both, is now slowly gliding down metal piping, destined to crush you both if you donât move. Itâs pitch black down in the sinkhole, with the exception of the revolving red and blue emergency lights from the vehicle above you both.Â
âTamaki we need to go,â you struggle to move off him. Thereâs a shearing pain in your dominant arm, and you realize itâs broken in at least two places. A step forward and you quickly see your thigh has a piece of metal pipe piercing through. âOh fuck, oh fuck. Tama, Tama baby please.â You stumble onto your knees, crying out as you feel the pipe tear through your muscle.Â
More grinding metal, high-pitched and screeching louder as the ambulance threatens to fall faster. Tamaki screams as you try to move him, every second you know the risk of him being paralyzed forever skyrockets. You use all your strength to try and lift even one of his legs and arms, screaming together as you both desperately try to move.Â
The screeching stops. It happens fast, the way Tamaki forces you onto his chest, using the last bits of his energy to activate his quirk and protect you both from the ambulance crushing you both. The clam shell wasnât strong as it usually is when he manifested them, the weight of the truck had almost crushed you both entirely still. Your full weight is on top of him, the metal pipe has definitely pierced all the way through and into Tamakiâs leg. âOh god, oh god, itâs on top of us! Tamaki, how- oh fuck, how are we going to get out!?â
He coughs under you, his hands finding their way to your waist and he gives you a squeeze. âItâs okay, I- I donât even feel- feel anything.â  Thatâs not reassuring. If he canât feel the piece of metal that shattered his tibia, then heâs definitely paralyzed. Then again, the added adrenaline in your bloodstream means you donât really feel the weight of your injuries either and your back isnât broken.
âNo, no itâs- itâs not okay! We have to get out, I have to get us out.â You squint in the dark, coughing up blood and mud as you try to think of a plan. The iridescent cavern catches your attention, and for a brief moment you pause. Itâs glowing.Â
Tamaki strains to watch you, a weak smile spreads on his lips when he says, âMother-of-pearl and glowing mushrooms.â
âWhat?â You look towards your battered fiancĂ© and feel hope shatter into a million pieces. Even in the dim light from the inner shell, you can see how desperately you need to get him out of him.Â
âThe shell is mother-of-pearl, nacre. Mollusks.â Tamaki weakly explains, âAnd then I eat glowing mushrooms. Itâs good for emergencies.âÂ
âOh,â you respond. âHelp- help is on its way, people know we were in zone three, right? They knew th-that this section caved in too, theyâll find us⊠yeah.âÂ
âYeah,â Tamaki shakily nods. âTheyâll find usâŠâÂ
-(-)-
You fall asleep on his chest, listening to his haggard breathing as he struggles to inhale and exhale. His steady heartbeat lulls you to sleep, and for the first time in a while, you wish you could dream.Â
-(-)-
You wake up groggy, your body aches and you can feel how badly swollen your arm and leg is. The metal piping holding you to Tamaki is also the thing keeping the blood blocked, youâre not sure how long youâll have before infection sets in. Your throat feels raw, it takes you a few times to choke out Tamakiâs name.Â
âTamaki,â you croak. âBaby, wake up. Wake- wake up.â You reach forward to touch him with your hand, grinding your teeth as you try to adjust yourself on him. It takes a few moments of you gently patting his cheek before he finally wakes up.Â
The glow of the inner clam walls are starting to dim.Â
-(-)-
No dreams. No dreams again. And you need him.Â
-(-)-
His heart beat is slower, his breathing more jagged. Tamakiâs chest is so fucking hot, you know heâs running a fever and oh godâŠÂ
âInfection,â your voice cracks and you try to move. âTamaki, I need to move us. We need to get help. I-I-I need to find you help.âÂ
Tamakiâs coughs accidentally jostle your pinned leg, making you hiss in pain. âS-sorry.â
You bite down on your lip to keep from letting out any more pained noises, so hard that you taste iron on your tongue. âNo, itâs okay. Itâs okay. We need a plan.â
Tamaki takes a few moments to take some deep breaths, nodding in agreement. âYou need to sleep.â
âWhat?â You adjust yourself to look at him, hating how pale heâs becoming. His lips are cracked and his eyes⊠âThat's not a plan-.â
âYou need to sleep,â He interrupts you. âAnd tell your soulmate where we are.â Your insides run cold, every part of you stops for just a moment as his words settle in.Â
âWh-what? I donât- I donât understand-.â
âItâs okay,â He smiles. âItâs not⊠Itâs not your fault. It just happens.â Tamakiâs fingers find your arm and they gently stroke your skin. âIâve had a feeling for a while. Right now, I need you to get in touch with them. Let them know where we are⊠How tired are you?â
Stunned, you just shrug. âUh⊠not very.â
âWell.â If it were any other situation, any other topic , this conversation would have almost been comical. âI have another plan then.âÂ
-(-)-
âNo.âÂ
âItâs the only way.â His voice is weaker.Â
â No, â you nearly shout. âI said no.â
Tamaki says your name like it is honey dripping off his lips, âListen to me. My quirk canât keep the truck from crushing us any longer, I can hold it for three days maximum and itâs beenâŠâ Tamaki closes his eyes and mutters as he tries to do the mental math, âFifty-six hours.â
âWe have time then,â you plead. I can switch us with anything else-.â
âYour quirk- your quirk is powerful and amazing,â Tamaki interrupts. âBut you and I both know that it has its limitations. You can only switch with what you see or with what you one hundred percent know is there. You donât know what else is around us. You do know that there is a fourteen thousand pound ambulance on top of us.â His voice breaks this news to you gently, but they donât help with the angry tears streaming down your face.
âWe donât know that!â You cry out, your hot tears soak into his suit and you wonder if he can even feel them. âWe donât know that! Maybe IÂ can!â
Tamaki starts to cry with you, knowing your heartache and feeling it himself. Thereâs no other way though. âMaybe you can,â he tries to encourage you. âBut my quirk is fading. I-,â he takes in a deep, shaky breath. âI am too weak to keep it going for a full seventy-six hours. Iâm shocked Iâve been able to keep it this long.â Tamaki gives a pathetic laugh, heavy with tears still. âI am fading. I am dyingâŠâ He stops laughing.Â
âTamakiâŠâ You cry, you hate that youâre crying again but what else can you do? â No. I canât leave you, I love you!â Your arm shakes as you pull yourself up enough to really look at him, frustrated that you canât move any further with the shared pipe piercing yourâs and his legs together.Â
Anger. It runs through your body hot, itâs staining your cheeks and stinging your eyes. Itâs making you grit your teeth, you want to scream, you want to curse at the fates for being so unforgiving to you both. Tamaki caresses you, itâs limited but he tries to wipe away your angry tears as you sob into his chest.Â
âItâs not fair! Itâs not fair!â You cry out, your hands digging into the mud beneath you both.Â
âIt isnât fair to leave your soulmate behind,â Tamaki replies tearfully. âDonât do that to them, please.âÂ
You both cry, holding each other in the dark.
-(-)-
âHow did you know?â Your voice is small, cracking. You havenât been able to dream since youâve been down in the sinkhole. Itâs frustrating for you, but Tamaki has been patient.Â
âAbout your soulmate?âÂ
âMhm.â
Tamaki lets out a soft chuckle that turns into a coughing fit, âYouâre really obvious. Asking me all of those questions. Sounded like a kid in elementary school who woke up freaking the hell out.âÂ
âI did not, â you chuckle with your cheek pressed against his chest. Itâs dirty, covered in blood, mud, and debris. You can only imagine how dirty you are. Your fingernails are caked in dirt, you have been stuck down here forâŠÂ
Sixty-seven hours.Â
âYou did,â he responds. âItâs cute. Itâs a beautiful feeling to discover your soulmate.â
âNot when youâre in love with someone else,â you mumble. âNot when youâre twenty-three years old and engaged to someone you love. Itâs not so pretty then.â He doesnât answer for a moment, but if not for the heartbeat you strain to hear, you wouldâve been panicking.Â
âItâs okay,â you feel his hand start to stroke your head. âI still love you, I still care for you. Youâre my best friend.â Tamakiâs words start to bring tears to your eyes.Â
âBut?â You ask, choking back on those wretched tears again.Â
âBut,â he takes in a wheezing breath, âTheyâre yours. You canât leave them behind. They will feel empty, and hollow⊠They will feel as if someone scooped out their insides, like a pumpkin. They will never feel whole again.â It takes him a while to speak, each word exerts energy that heâs quickly running out of. âAnd they will miss you, forever. They will think of you, forever. And they might move on, they find someone who makes them feel happy again.â His fingers stroke your cheek now. âBut they will always think of their soulmate, and they might enjoy life again, but a part of them will always look forward to the release of death. To see them again. You need to be with your soulmate.â
âDo you want to see her again?â Your heart breaks, for him and for you, and for the soulmate he lost. And for Katsuki.Â
âI do.â Tamaki answers, thick with tears. âI miss her so much. I swear I can hear her voice in my dreams againâŠâ His voice is distant, elsewhere.
You know youâre running out of time.Â
âI love you, Tama.â You press your lips against his chest.Â
âOh,â he says wistfully. âI love you too, Shinju.â
You take in a sharp breath, your heart breaking knowing that that isnât your name. Itâs been too long, you need to make a decision. The walls of the protective shell have been cracking, you can hear the groaning metal threatening you both for days now.Â
âOkay,â you start to nod. âIâll do it.â Carefully, you squeeze his shoulder to get Tamakiâs attention.Â
He groans at first, slowly waking again. His voice is hollow when he speaks, âYeah?âÂ
âYouâre sure itâs the only way?â
âIt is,â Tamaki squeezes your arm reassuringly. âIt will be okay. You need to switch places, live your life. I want you to be free, love.âÂ
âOk-,â your voice cracks and you stifle back tears. âOkay.â
âYeah?â He repeats, a smile in his voice. âGood. You and your soulmate need to meet. Do that for me. Promise me, please. â Tamaki squeezes you again.Â
âI promise.âÂ
He gently brings your hand to his lips, kissing you goodbye. You make the switch.Â

**bnha spoilers** I'm just sat here with renewed realisation of what All Might is going through. 40 years. /40 years/ he held and refined that power and dedicated his every waking (and sleeping if Vigilantes is anything to go by) moment towards the goal of defeating AfO and creating a society in which people could feel happy and safe. And now as it turns out AfO is still alive, society is broken and he has given a literal piece of his soul to this young boy leaving himself with only phantoms
Yes. I donât think people quite grasp what all heâs going through.
Itâs been shown recently to us that some, if not most, heroes have underlying ambitions in becoming a hero. Whether for money, glory, fame, popularity, doesnât matter. Theyâre ultimately in it for themselves. Toshinoriâs intentions from the beginning have been the most pure- he wanted to be a symbol that people can look to and know things will be ok. A symbol of hope. This boy was only around 14 years old when he decided this. What kind of 14 year old sees the world that clearly? Sees that people have no hope, that a veil of darkness covers them. The only thing I can think of is- Toshinori did not have a good childhood. Something had to have happened to a boy that young to stop seeing the joy in life so early, and see the worldâs flaws. Truthfully, I believe he was an outcast- due to his quirklessness. Most likely an orphan, perhaps abandoned by his parents, as weâve never seen him have any family. I do truly believe Toshinori has been alone all his life. I donât doubt more could have happened to him as a child before he met Nana.Â
Some may argue that Izuku is the same age, and therefore it shouldnât be that hard to see why Toshinori wanted to be a hero at such a young age. BUT, Izuku had someone to look up to, ever since he was a child of four years old, to inspire him to be a hero his whole life *cough cough* All Might. Izuku also was quirkless, much like Toshinori, and an outcast because of it (hence where I assume Toshinori was much the same). But ultimately, Izuku wanted to save people because he saw his hero do it. It really wasnât until Izuku was a bit older, has been in UA, has been on rescue missions, has seen what the heroes see, that I think heâs truly realized how dark the world really is. Toshinori didnât have that. He didnât have someone to inspire him as a child, someone to look up to, a hero to inspire him to help others. At that time, heroes hadnât become as popular as they are in present times. Toshinori saw the world for what it was, on his own, at a tender age. I think that day Nana ran into this blonde hair kid, she eyed him up, noticed his scraggly form, looked into those captivating blue eyes, and saw a man whoâs lived through the worldâs horrors- experienced the worst it has to offer-, and wants to save everyone he can from the same fate, all in a 14 year old boy.Â
Then after only a few short years with the woman he saw as his mother, sheâs killed in front of him because of his own weakness- he wasnât strong enough yet to protect her. The only other person his life, Gran Torino, literally abused him. He beat him to a pulp, taking his own emotions out on a teenager, and I doubt Toshinori said anything of it. He probably thought he deserved it. Heâs still afraid of Gran Torino to this day, remembering the beatings and expecting more for his failures- even if he doesnât know what they are surely heâs at fault for something, but heâs the only person whoâs stood by his side for this long. Even while at a distance, and spouting nothing but criticisms along the way. But Toshinori had to put aside his own emotions to be that hope for everyone. He left everything he knew to go to a new country on his own, to learn how to be a hero, to be that hope for someone.
Vigilantes showed us just how hard he worked. Toshinori literally stayed awake with no sleep for days on end- 3 in the chapter Iâm referencing- because people needed help, people needed saving, and no one else stepped up. He fought villains, rescued civilians, repaired damage, cleared rubble, (even accept and eat food that was against his dietary restrictions after his injury) whatever the public needed, all while draining himself further. He worked himself to the point of exhaustion because he had no help, once literally falling asleep while mid-leap across the city because he simply could go no further.Â
^^These happen in succession of each other^^
No one stepped up to say âHey, Mr. Number 1, youâve been working hard lately. Let me help you!â No one tried to take over his position. Even the Number 2 hero, Endeavor, never tried to take some of his burden. His only goal was to try to be better than All Might in terms of power- he was never trying to be the hero that the people relied on All Might for. Everyone relied on him when things looked grim. He was the back up plan. And all of this happened before Toshinoriâs injury.Â
The only thing he ever wanted to do- help people- he canât do (at least the way heâs always known how to). The ability to save people has been taken from him in the most gruesome way. He was finally able to fight the man that killed Nana, and in a rage that Iâm sure echoed with all of the emotions of the previous users, he smashed that manâs head like a grape. But not without consequence. Several organs are gone. The pain is excruciating. He wears that manâs mark on his body for the rest of his life, never truly able to rid himself of the filth.
Then we have Nighteyeâs betrayal. The man that helped him as a sidekick, the man that grew to be his only friend. Now some people may ask why Toshinori flipped like he did to Nighteye looking into his future when he was concerned about him making it through his injury. What I believe is Toshinori didnât want to know when he would die (and really, who does). Now he knows heâs on a time limit, knows the clock is ticking. Time is running out to keep the world at peace, and with him as he is now, how long can this go on?Â
I think the betrayal, doing something that Toshinori specifically asked him not to do, is what hurt the most. How can he trust Nighteye anymore? He already can only count on one hand the people he can trust, let alone befriend.
Heâs wasted away into a skeleton, a shell of the man he used to be. He canât over exert himself without his only lung bleeding in protest. Itâs canon in the side books that he really doesnât eat much, which isnât good for his diet without a stomach now (heâs supposed to have several small meals a day). He is quite literally punishing himself by starving. (Granted, he doesnât feel hunger anymore.) Heâs a sick man, beyond medical help at this point. They can only stabilize him and hope for the best. For five years now heâs in constant pain, every day. He loses blood like sweat. Surely his veins are bruised and collapsed with how many times he would have needed to be hospitalized. Whether from losing too much blood, being too dehydrated or starved from âforgettingâ to eat, or an organ failing as body continues to fall apart. â...even as my body rots and grows frail...â - Toshinori People are bound to stare at him as he walks down the street. A tall, willowy, skeleton with a grimace on his face and blood stains on his clothes as he coughs up more into his own hands. There would be the ones who outright ignore him when they walk by, the people who offer pitying smiles and sympathetic glances or just outright stare, and then ones who are afraid of his appearance- children screaming at the mere sight of him and running to their parents to hide from the monster. Each one is another knife in Toshinoriâs side, an ache in his chest. If only they knew who I really am.
Losing Nighteye took a toll on his hero work as well. Mirai was a huge help in the past, and took care of all Toshinoriâs paperwork, while also reminding him to take care of himself. Without him, Toshinori was even more buried beneath his responsibilities. Plus, now he was on a time limit. He even snapped briefly in his first meeting with Tsukauchi, accidentally revealing himself as All Might because he was under too much pressure, and telling the detective he literally couldnât handle doing everything by himself (who graciously took over the paperwork side of things for him).Â
He was living a double life now, having to lie to people left and right about who he was while in his small form, about how he became so sickly, why he was here in the first place who the heck is this skinny old guy. Surely he had multiple visits to the doctor while continuing to repair the damage done by AFO (thereâs a limit to how much the body can handle at once. And things Iâm sure continued to fail as time went on). Then he would be bedridden for as long as the doctors could keep him strapped to a bed, until he couldnât take the peopleâs cries for help any longer, and would jump into action. (Itâs also revealed he has something of a super hearing- able to hear danger- which may have been a form of danger sense of OFA that was never fully unlocked?. Either way, he surly could sense disasters happening while he could only lay and heal from his latest surgery. Those poor doctors must have had to re-stitch him several times). People blame him for not preparing society for his retirement, that he failed in passing on the torch so to speak, but in reality he did everything possible to keep society from falling for 40 years, doing all within his power just to keep things afloat. He is only one person. One human being, he canât do everything despite trying to. Society failed All Might.
People blame him for not being a good teacher. He didnât exactly have the greatest teacher himself to learn from. Heâs never had to teach anyone anything, he just punches! Heâs learning. And for his own credit, heâs an incredibly wise man, he has years of experience under his belt, and an intelligence score of 6/6, scoring up there with Nezu! He may not always have the right way to bring something up, but heâs doing his best. Yet even he blames himself for Izuku not being able to control his quirk better. Every time the boy hurts himself, itâs just another tally on the chalkboard of Toshinoriâs failures. He himself knows the boy deserves better, better than him. Useless. Pathetic.
Then his friend from America, Dave, essentially became a villain trying to preserve Toshinoriâs legacy after Toshinori told him about his injury. Dave went behind his back, threatened people, injured people (pretty sure people died), all for Toshinoriâs sake. Something he didnât want to begin with. Having to put your only other friend in jail for trying to help you surely couldnât have been easy.
Oh, by the way? All For One isnât dead. All Might will fight him again, publicly, have his weakened form exposed to the world, and have his own emotions toyed with as he finds out about his masterâs grandson in the villainâs hands. Would Nana hate him for leaving her son alone like sheâd asked, and dooming her grandchild to be raised by the greatest villain? Could he have done anything to save him? But Toshinori isnât allowed to feel, he has to smile and push his own feelings aside once again, because thereâs a villain to be fought, and only he can fight him. Despite coming out on top, heâll have suffered severe head trauma, broken left arm, destroyed right arm, and several cuts and bruises that are sure to scar. And then, his quirk, the only thing thatâs been allowing him to help people, the gift given to him that he carefully held for 40 years and molded into his own until his very consciousness was permanently carved into it, blows out like a match in the wind. And heâs done. Used up. Empty. Broken. Hollow. Alone, again.
He overhears his student, Bakugo, admit that he blames himself for All Mightâs retirement. If he hadnât been captured, All Might wouldnât have had to save him, and he wouldnât have had to fight AFO. Of course Toshinori knows thatâs not true, his time was about to run out anyway. It would have happened one way or another. But how can he explain to this child that he wasnât the cause of his hero, the worldâs greatest hero, fighting for his sake, bleeding for his sake, being forced into retirement to keep him safe. Every time Bakugo sees the bandages covering Toshinoriâs body is another reminder of the pain and sacrifice Toshinori willingly gave to keep him safe. Toshinori wasnât held when his mentor died. He wasnât told it was ok to be sad, that grief and mourning was a natural process, that it takes time to heal. He wasnât told it was ok to cry. Instead his feelings were beaten out of him as he wondered if Gran Torino blamed him for Nanaâs death. He already blamed himself How then, does he comfort a child mourning for him? For what he lost.
And then he gets the call to come to the hospital. Mirai, Nighteye, his old sidekick friend, has been gravely injured, much like he himself was only a few years ago, and most likely wonât survive the night. And to his horror, Nighteye is happy to see him, smiles at him, says he doesnât hate him for what happened, only wants Toshinori to be happy. He canât accept that, at least let him apologize, reconcile his sins before itâs too late! But it is. Another fractured piece of his heart gone.
Of course, seeing your students beat up and their arms completely destroyed must have hurt. Instead of being able to save these kids, theyâre the ones that hurt themselves to save everyone else. And if Bakugo had kept OFA, things could have been very different (especially with what we know now of OFA and people with quirks). Toshinori wasnât mad at Izuku for transferring it away, heâd never regret choosing Izuku, and I believe he still would have stayed by Izuku and Bakugoâs side should it have stayed in Bakugo, doing whatever he could to help.
As he tells Aizawa, âIâve decided to live,â -that statement seems so melancholy, besides obvious reasons. It sounds more like another task he has to accomplish. He didnât die he was supposed to die with the AFO fight, and now the whole life he lived is over. The world has no use for him anymore. If not for Izuku, heâd have nothing left keeping him here. But because his boy made him promise to live, heâll do so. Though it almost seems like he says those words with regret. âIâve decided to live.â Not, âIâm going to live!â âNothing can kill me!â âI wonât go down without a fight!â No. âIâll live if I have to, only because you asked me to.â The man is obviously and outwardly depressed. He has so many things against him. No doubt has severe PTSD, anxiety, among others. Not to mention his own physical health. Every day hurts. Itâs painful to be alive. Why would he torture himself if he doesnât have to? For you, my boy. Youâre the only thing keeping me here. The only light in my dark world.
He tries to help Izuku find out the previous holderâs quirks, to help his boy in any way he can now that heâs worthless, and goes days on end without sleep, running his body into the ground. He even forgets Christmas. Only to find that by giving the boy the same gift he had received, he may have just doomed him to an early death, among psychological torture (danger detection). (Granted, he really doesnât know how everything works, and heâs afraid to talk to anyone about it). His boy could live only half a life.
Itâs only been a few months since he retired, and society has fallen into shambles. People are blaming him. People are dying. He watches helplessly as his colleague fight his fight for him, and end up battered, bruised, crippled, dead. He students, his boy, battle the monster he should have killed. Children are bleeding. This shouldnât happen. This wasnât supposed to happen. Is everything he worked for, everything he fought to protect, to build up, to inspire, is all for naught?! Did he live a foolish dream and doom the world? Was all the the friends he lost, tears he shed, the organs he destroyed, the pain he endures on a daily basis from the hole in his side, and the blood he continues to bleed every day, for nothing? The public, the ones he protected for so long, mourn his absence, but surely there are those among them who also blame him. The statue from his last fight in Kamino one that he never asked for was decimated in a mock of his catch phrase- the one that was supposed to give hope.
Now he can feel his own vestige speaking with Izuku in the OFA realm, even with out OFA in his own body anymore. His clock as nearly reached itâs limit, Nighteyeâs prediction is due any day now. The only thing he wants is to see his boy smile at him, to give him some shred of hope. Yet the child remains unconscious, and Toshinori canât even hold his hand from the bandages covering his arms. Will he still be able to fight? Is there any coming back from this now? Did I break him?
With all Toshinori has been through, Iâm honestly surprised we havenât seen him just outright break down. Anyone, anyone, else should have crumbled under the pressure of holding up the world for 40 years alone. And instead of being able to pass it on to someone when he can no longer bear its weight, it simply falls to into the abyss. People donât credit All Might enough for everything heâs done. Most donât realize the sacrifices heâs made. His character is so unbelievably profound and deep, itâs more than just the âI am here!â people focus on. Heâs a deeply troubled, layered, complex character. And I canât find fault within him.

A Bird Whispererâs Guide to Fighting Villains and Falling in Love | Hawks x Hero!Reader
Summary: Hawks needs help to defeat an upcoming hero attack in Tokyo. What better hero to ask than the one heâs been crushing on for months
Warnings: F!Reader, Hero!Reader, Fluff, Cursing
Reader plays hard to get. Reader has a nature quirk and can control natural elements and talk to animals. Reader is a popular hero
a/n: hi! this is my first post i hope you all enjoy! :)
ââââ
You sighed, trying to keep your composure while talking to a bunch of big name heroes. The fundraiser events that your agency made you go to were unbearable. Standing around for hours listening to the most mundane heroes try to impress you with their line of work. But hey, if it helps boost approval ratings I guess itâs not that bad.
For the past year youâve slowly been climbing the ranks of the hero world. With a powerful quirk and unique fighting styles it was hard to go unnoticed. By now you were familiar with how the industry treated female heroes. It seemed as if the general public cared about anything but your hero duties.
It was all love, relationships, âWho are you dating?â, âWhatâs your skincare routine?â
You honestly didnât expect any different but geez, it sure did piss you off. And now that you were in the top 3, you werenât expecting any of it to die down. Might as well just get used to it.
You continued to chat when suddenly your ear twitched as you sensed a certain birdie approaching.
Oh God.
âHey. Mind if I steal ya away for a little?â Hawksâ signature smirk appeared on his face as he approached you.
Hawks seemed to really be latching onto you for quite some time, well since the new hero rankings were announced. You were on your way to surpassing the number 2 hero and had gained a lot of notoriety in the past couple of months. ïżŒ
He was clingy for sure, always play flirting, inviting you to lunch, showing up at your agency unannounced. It was obvious that he was just trying to get a reaction out of you. Youâd be surprised if he admitted to actually having feelings for you. Well, not that you cared anyways. Your job was to save civilians, defeat villains, and do things that any other normal hero would. Love was simply not on your agenda.
Holding back a heavy sigh, you complied and stepped off to the side with Hawks.
He seemed delighted by your decision, using his feathers to fetch you a glass of champagne off of one of the catererâs trays as you two walked over to the bar area.
âSo your agency makes you come to these lame things too, huh?â
You didnât answer, not very interested in the direction that the conversation was going in.
âYou look nice.â He bit his lower lip, dragging his eyes vertically across your figure.
âThank you.â You replied, taking a sip of your champagne.
After you both had made your way over to the bar he instructed his order to the bartender, asking you if you wanted anything and keeping the same dumb smirk on his face when you denied.
âRarely ever see you in a color other than green. I mean, I guess itâs your entire thing but I really dig this red look youâve got goinâ onâ He mused, as he watched the bartender carefully make his drink.
He wasnât lying. Heâs been eyeing you since you walked in, you look good.
âWhat do you want, Hawks?â You asked, visibly annoyed.
âDamn.â He chuckled, âSmall talk isnât your thing, noted.â
You side-eyed him, getting impatient with his overly relaxed demeanor.
Catching the hint, he got straight to the point. âThereâs some trouble going on in Tokyo.â
Now you were intrigued. You took another sip of your champagne, âPetty villain attacks like always, isnât it?â
You turned towards him, he got a good look at your face before he answered.
Fucking pretty, he thought to himself.
âThatâs what I thought at first but itâs getting harder to believe that as I do more digging.â He looks around before inching closer to you, trying to keep his volume to a minimum. âThe League is planning something big next week. The âRain of Terrorâ, theyâre callinâ it. Theyâre trying to ease the amount of big attacks in the city to let our gaurds down. And frankly, I think itâs working.â
Your eyebrows furrowed. âHow do you know all of this?â
âIâve got connections,â Was all he said, with a shrug.
Ok, whatever. Youâll confront him about that later. âAnd this âRain of TerrorâŠâ what does it entail?â
âBombs.â
âShit,â You muttered.
âBig ones. Huge ones, actually. I donât know how the fuckers did it but they found a way to make these huge, bioengineered clouds that ârainâ bombs.â
You grew uneasy. Raining bombs? Over the entirety of Tokyo? The amount of destruction it would do to the earth, to civilians, made you panic. Hawks sensed your uneasiness but continued anyways, âI want us to team up. Your quirk would be useful with the entire controlling nature nâ weather thing.â
He loosened up from his serious expression, talking a bit louder and showing a teethy smile, âPlus I think weâd make a pretty good team. Iâve already got a plan so weâll meet up at yours tomorrow.â
âAs in my house? Why not anywhere else?â You questioned.
âWell,â He grabbed his drink and used his free hand to rub the back of his heck, âThis isnât really the typa thing we can talk about in public. Mass hysteria, panic, that type of thing. And my living situation is prettyâŠcomplicated right now.â
You felt a small tap on your shoulder, followed by the voice of your high school aged sidekick. You turned to the younger hero. âUh..Y/N? Itâs time to go. I gotta be back by 11.â
You sighed before turning back to Hawks.
âKids and their curfews, right?â He commented.
âFine. Iâll have my agency send you my address. Donât come during the day.â That was the last thing you said before finishing your drink all in one quick sip and making your way to the exit. You could feel his eyes on your backside until you left the venue. And the singular scarlet feather rushing in front of you to open the car door for you was really the cherry on top.
You rolled your eyes.
âWoah.â Your sidekick mused, âHe seems to really like you. You should give him a chance, heâs hot.â
You giggled at her comment, âHe doesnât really like me, yâknow? He flirts with every female hero.â
â
You heard a slight tap on the window leading up to your balcony. You already sensed him flying towards you when he was about a mile away, but your bedroom? Reluctantly you walked over and opened the sliding door.
âNever heard of a front door?â
âWell thatâs no fun, is it?â He said, displaying his signature smirk. You looked cute out of your hero clothes. Hair tied up and messy, and in big comfy clothes.
Adorable, he thought to himself. He walked in as if it was his own befroom, slipping off his shoes, gloves and jacket and placing them in the corner of your room.
âMake yourself comfortable I guess.â You deadpanned at him, âAnd weâre still going downstairs anyways.â He shrugged.
He couldnât help but be taken aback by the layout of your room. There were plants in almost every corner, on every shelf. Vines growing on your walls, half read books strewn across your bedside table and dresser, your pet birds of all different shaped and sizes flew freely around your room, chirping every once in a while. âSo youâre a bird whisperer, huh?â He said, looking around.
âIâm an animal whisperer.â You said, âThatâs kind of like my entire thing.â
He let out a hearty laugh before making his way out of your room.
âTea?â You asked, heading towards the kitchen as the winged hero made himself comfortable on your couch.
âSure.â He picked up your remote with one his feathers, flicking through the channels.
He turned his attention to you a couple moments later as you took a seat across from him at your coffee table, setting down two mugs of green tea.
He explained his plan carefully, paying close attention to all details and pausing for any questions you might have. You had to admit, as much as an annoying asshole this guy could be, he knew what he was doing. You could tell he plans his strategies very carefully, as much as he likes to come off as lazy and laid back to the general public. He was a damn good hero. And you hated admitting it but he was right, utlizing his speed and your ability to control weather, it wouldnât be all that hard to stop villain attacks.
Hawks also couldnât help but admire you. You seemed attentive, always paying close attention to detail and asking a lot of questions. I mean he already knew you were good at your job, watching some of the viral videos of your fights with villains.
â
When the day finally came, it went as smoothly as planned, of course with a little bumps along the way. Still, the few civilians that were hurt only had minor injuries, and you and hawks made it so only a couple bombs hit the ground.
You, Hawks, and some other minor heroes who had joined mid-battle regrouped to talk about how to resolve the collateral damage.
âItâs not too much to be honest, Iâll have it all repaired by midni-â
âWow! What an incredible display of courage from Hawks and Mother Nature, currently sitting at number 2 and number 3 of Japanâs Hero BillBoard Chart!â A loud reporter exclaimed, accompanied by a camera crew.
Of course.
You tried your best to ignore and keep talking to fellow heroes until a microphone was shoved in your face. The face of the reporter gleamed as she talked to you. âTell me Mother Nature, how does it feel working with number 2 hero Hawks?â You winced at the question, but answered nevertheless.
âHawks is a ïżŒ diligent hero with a lot of experience under his belt despite being so young. It was great working with him.â You answered, forcing a smile on your face.
âThereâs speculation that you two planned this together..is this true? How were you able to predict this attack? More importantly, are you two dating?â Those questions hit you like a truck.
âUm..no comment.â Was all you could answer with.
Nevertheless, the reporter persisted, âWell there has to be something going on. Itâs just my opinion but you two seem perfect for each other.â She giggled at the camera, âPlease! The public is dying to know!â
Before you could even muster up an answer to the reporterâs overwhelming question, a giant scarlet wing came between you and the reporter, blinding both her and the camera from your view.
âHey. She said she doesnât wanna talk about it. Letâs respect personal boundaries, yeah?â Hawks said in a nice but slightly defensive tone.
You blushed, looking up at him. As nice we he was trying to sound, he looked angry. And damn right he was. How dare they talk to you like youâre no more than just some D-list celebrity? Youâre a fucking hero, who cares about dating speculation when you just saved Japanâs largest city? And how dare they ask questions about him when you were the one doing most of the work. He was enraged, and it was his natural instinct to protect the thing he cared for.
Before you knew it, he latched his arms around your waist, pushing you into his chest.
You were flustered. âWhat are you-â
âLetâs go.â Was all he said before flapping his wings, sending you guys soaring through the air.
You held on to him for dear life, damn was he fast.
Hawks smirked to himself, feeling your rapid heartbeat against his chest. You were trying your best to hide your blushing by burying your face in his neck, granted that probably made it worse because he could already tell by how hot your face was.
God, sheâs adorable
As soon as you two landed on top of a building, you pushed him away as quickly as possible.
He chuckled, putting both of his hands up in defense, âYouâre the one making this awkward yâknow? Plus you owe me for saving your ass.â
You were angry. Was it because of the downright rude questions that the reporter asked you not too long ago, was it because you knew tabloids would be posting all about you and Hawks for the next couple of days, was it because you were..warming up to that damned bird?
And then you started. âJust so you know, this..us..is not a thing. It will never be a thing. I wish youâd just stop flirting with me all the damn time. Just move on to the next female hero. I actually donât care what you do. Just leave me alone. I donât understand why you have to be so clingy, itâs annoying.â
Hawks did nothing but smile, listening to you ramble.
âYou knowâŠI-â He interjected, only to be interrupted by you.
âAnd geez, youâre so goddamn entitled. I owe you? I donât owe you anything. I didnât even need your help. Youâre no different from any other guy, youâre fucking insuffer-â
Hawks shut you up with a gentle kiss on your lips.
Oh.
âYou talk too much.â He said in a low whisper, before pulling on your chin to kiss you again. You kissed him back, resting your hands on his chest, completely indulging in the moment.
Fuck. Your knees were weak. As much as you wanted to keep going you pulled away, blushing furiously and refusing to make eye contact with him.
âOh? So now youâre shy?â He chuckled, pulling you closer to him. He tried to catch your gaze but you just moved your head away from him each time.
âSomeone might see us. This is bad,â You were able to muster out.
âYouâre so fucking cute.â He said, making you blush even more. He continued, âI donât flirt with you for no reason, yâknow? Sure, sometimes itâs just to tease..but I think youâre amazing.â
You felt like you were melting in his arms. Unable to find the right words, you panicked. You were gone in seconds, manipulating the wind so it could carry you back home, the same stupid blush unable to leave your face.
âCall me!â He yelled.
That damn bird.

Tamaki Amajiki:
you love everything about tamaki
all his faults and his strengths
but sometimesâŠit feels like youâre the only one keeping it together
and to always be the strong one is hard
It had been a difficult two weeks since your last mission.
Perhaps you were naĂŻve to believe you wouldnât experience a death any time soon. However, you had been bright and hopeful. The hero you worked as a sidekick for rarely got involved in super-high level threats. You dealt with misdemeanors and a few moderate-sized threats.
Maybe you were being stupid. Nevertheless, the tragedy hit you hard. Both physically and mentally.
You were out until you could safely use your quirk again. In the meantime, your fiancé had done all he could to take care of you. But he was worried.
Tamaki couldnât help but panic. He wanted nothing more than to kiss you better. Honestly, he wanted you back to normal. He just didnât know how to do it. You were always the strength of the relationship.
He felt so pathetic over his inability to help, spending hours on the phone with Mirio and Neijre crying over the issue. Afterwards, heâd crawl into bed, cheeks wet with tears, and despite your sadness, youâd wrap your arms around him.
Youâd comfort him like you always do and itâd make him feel even worse.
You knew he was trying his best and appreciated that. Though, there was a point to which it all got to be too much for you to handle.
Mirio and Neijre came over to help put up some Christmas decorations. You wanted to cancel. Today hadnât been a good day. However, Amajiki began to worry over your mood again and so you held your thoughts to avoid his tears.
But it seemed like your tears were the ones you shouldâve been worried about.
You sat down on a chair and held your head. The world was spinning, and your ears were ringing. Your eyes burned so badly you felt theyâd melt out of your head.
âBunny!?â
âIâm sorry,â you breathed. âI just need a minute.â
âWhat can I do?â Tamaki rushed to kneel beside you, fear shining in his glossy eyes.
You shook you head balling your fist near your lips to keep in a cry. âIâm fine, baby,â you sniffed, but that was a lie.
Your head was swimming, buzzing, and filled with nothing but noise. No matter how hard you tried to make it go away, you just couldnât. You couldnât deal with that orâ
âI-Iâll take care of you. Just p-please tell me what to do!â he begged. You could feel his anxiety seeping into your body and it nearly sent you over the edge.
âTama, please.â
âI canâI can do something. Anything. Anything you want. An-andâ"
All you could think about was how you failed the mission, the girl, her parents, your team, your friends, the public, andâ
âAmajiki.â
âB-bunny, I know I havenât been a good fiancĂ© l-lately, but I-I promise Iâllâ"
âAMAJIKI!â
Tamaki jumped, eyes wide and body frozen as he took in the near panic in your eyes.
âI CANâTââ your voice was shrill before you hiccupped, choking back a sob. You squeezed the air by your head, hoping to ground yourself to something that wasnât there.
âI just canât deal with you right now, okay? I-Iâm sorry,â you whispered.
Your breaths left in puffs as you silently watched his mind work to process your words, and when it did, you saw his heart visibly break.
He grabbed his hand to cradle it into his chest like it was wounded. When he spoke, it was barely a whisper, not even a decibel above faint.
âN-no, itâsâŠIâIâll give you some space.â
He tried to offer a brave smile, but it wobbled too much to do anything. The tears that ran down his cheeks seemed to suffocate him, and Tamaki couldnât bite back his cry in time before he quickly left the room. Mirio worriedly gazed at you before running after his friend.
Your eyes remained transfixed on the space where your fiancĂ© once stood. It wasnât until moments later, when you felt Neijreâs comforting hands around your torso, that you doubled over and wept.
Togata Mirio:
heâs optimistic
too optimistic sometimes
you love the light he brings into your life
but itâs at the cost of him dismissing your feelings and worries
You checked the backseat when the car stopped at the red light to ensure your sleeping son was still there. Â
âTwo minutes and 20 seconds. Thatâs a new record babe,â Mirio chuckled.
âVery funny.â You threw an unimpressed glare at your husband before turning back into your seat. âBut can you blame me? After the heart attack I had this morning, I wanna chain him to my chest and never let go.â
The blonde hero hummed thoughtfully. âThatâs only slightly psychotic.â
âMirio.â
âIâm kidding!â
You huffed and looked away. You were a bit annoyed over the nonchalance your husband seemed to have over what occurred today.
Your son had presented with a quirk and, to your horror, it was similar to Mirioâsâif not even more dangerous. When you came back to find your baby fading away before sinking into the ground, you screamed like murder.
Mirio had never phased into a room so quickly in his life.
After getting both you and your kid (mostly you) to calm down, you went straight to the hospital to make sure everything was still intact. They gave you some quirk inhibiting medication for your kid, a quick pep talk, and you were on your way back home.
The hectic morning made your son knock out as soon as he hit the car seat. You wanted to follow suit but were too paranoid to do so. In fact, you wanted to hold himâjust in case. But Mirio insisted the medication would hold him until you got home. Then he cracked a joke about your kid turning into tumble weed and laughed like it was the funniest thing he ever said.
And he kept making jokes. Like this was funny.
Forget annoyed. It was pissing you off.
Mirio peeked a quick glance over your stiff figure. A small grin graced his lips, and he placed a comforting hand on your thigh.
âOkay, Iâm sorry. I know youâre scared. Iâll chill with the jokes. Just promise not to blow a gasket on me, will ya?â he smiled.
You averted your eyes away from the moving tress to look at him well. âYou could take this a little more seriously, you know?â you said.
âI assure you, I am 100% serious.â
He couldnât even say that with a straight face. You rolled your eyes, groaning into your head tilt.
âOoou you get on my nervesââ
âSunshine, itâll be fineee,â he happily assured. âItâll just take some practice before [S/N] gets control of it.â
â[S/N] literally turns invisible before he permeates through surfaces. Thatâs so scary. I canât do anything for him unless you're there and even then, that might not always work out. We need to figure something out.â
âHis quirk is really not too far from mine. And you remember all the funny things that happened when I was a kid.â
You incredulously looked at him. âYeah, all the funny near death experiences!â
âAnd I turned out fine!â Mirio laughed.
You wanted to rip your hair out. There was literally no getting through to him.
âForget it. I donât even know why I bother.â You scooted away from his hand, crossing your arms in frustration. âItâs not like you take my feelings seriously anyways.â
That last part was meant for your own ears, however Mirio heard them loud and clear. He turned into the neighborhood, brows subtly scrunching together.
âNow thatâs not true. I care about that a lot actually.â
âCouldâve fooled me.â
Well that was not the answer he expected.
There were a couple minutes of uncomfortable silence before the car reached your garage and was turned off. You two looked forwards for a moment before someone spoke.
âI feel like we should talk about this,â Mirio slowly said, turning to watch for your reaction.
You gave him a glare that caused him to goofily purse his lips. You then got out of the car and went to go unstrap your son so you could hold him until the events of the morning faded from your mind.
As a last resort to make you smile, Mirio permeated his torso through his seat to give you the cheesiest grin.
âI love you, honey bunny~â he sung.
To which he earned a car door slammed in his face.
Dabi:
heâs selfish
you know it and he does too
yet you still stay around because you love him
but it seems like he couldnât care less about whether or not you do
You impassively sat on the couch of your small apartment. Your hands were folded across your chest, teeth chattering against the raw skin underneath your nail bed. For a minute straight, your knee bounced in place before you stood up and took to pacing in order to release the energy bubbling in your chest.
It felt like hours before your apartment door opened.
Dabi threw his keys onto the closest surface and shrugged off his heavy jacket. You didnât realize youâd moved before you took the jacket to hang on the wall.
âItâs cold as shit out there,â he shivered.
âYeah, thereâs supposed to be a blizzard sometime soon,â you replied, yet it sounded distant. However, Dabi didnât seem to notice.
âCanât wait,â he huffed. A mischievous glint grew in his eyes as he pulled you into his chest by your waist. Usually that wouldâve made your thighs tense with anticipation. But all you could do was stand there like dead weightâand again, he didnât notice. Did he ever? âBut I guess it wonât be too bad if I have you to keep me warm, hm?â he smirked.
You stood stiff as he kissed your lips and tears burned your eyes as he moved to your neck, hands affectionately squeezing your hips. The bubbles in your chest rumbled and popped like angry bees when you realized he hadnât noticed. He never noticed it. He never noticed anything about you. Just like he hadnât noticedâ
âDabi, what day is it?â
His lips continued to pepper your skin with licks and nips, mindlessly working to find your sweet spot again. âMmmâŠThursday, sweetheart.â
âIâm being serious.â
âI am too.â Dabi looked up and met your stone cold face that looked angrier by the second. He quirked a brow. âWhatâs up with you?â
âItâs our one year anniversary, you asshole.â
You pushed him away, stomping towards your room. However, Dabi grabbed your arm, pulling you back into the conversation. But instead of hearing an apology, you received an inattentive eyeroll.
âDonât be like that, doll-face. Itâs really not that deep.â
âExcuse me?â you spat. âYou said the same thing ever since our 6 month and I let it go, but now you wanna act like this isnât a big deal? You know how much this means to me.â
âAnd you know thatâs not my style. I donât care about shit like that.â
âWell I do.â You moved out of his grasp and put distance between yourselves to help you think.
Dabi ran a hand through his hair, stress in his movements. âAre we really gonna do this right now, Y/N?â
âYes! Because you donât get it!â
Fed up with the argument already, Dabi threw his hands in the air, letting his frustration carry the words through his lips. It had been an awful day, his staples were aching from the weather, and this was making everything worse. Â
âI already missed the damn thing, what do you want me to do!? You want me to say Iâll make up for it?â
âI want you to care, Dabi!â you desperately exclaimed. âI want you to care about me, about this relationship. Damn it, I want you to care about anything else besides whatâs in my pants for once in your lifeââ
âWell thatâs all I wanted until you started asking for more shit and I gave you that. What more do you want from me?â he sneered.
There was a silent pause between you two. You blankly stared at the man youâd come to love despite the hell he put you through. When you observed the honest irritation in his eyes, everything became clear. It was in that moment you realized it wasnât that he never noticed. It was that he didnât care. He never did.
Thatâs when you felt the deep ache of heartbreak nestle between your lungs.
âWhat more do I want from you,â you repeated, tasting the words. You numbly laughed and nodded your head, silently accepting his truth.
There were no tears, just bitter emptiness.
âWell, uhâŠyou donât have to worry about that anymore. You wonât be roped into another anniversary with me again.â
It was a moment too late when your soft whisper broke through the angry storm that clouded Dabiâs head. His face sunk with the exhaustion of a man well beyond his years. Â
âY/N, baby, can we just talk about thisâ"
âLeave the spare key on your way out.â
And before he could utter another word, you shut your bedroom door like it was never to be opened again.

marinette dupain-chengâs guide to picking up cute guys
A/N: Chez Vous is real in the DC universe; itâs described as a restaurant but I decided to use it as the name of the cafĂ© because I didnât want to come up with one myself. It translates to âat your house,â which basically implies âmake yourself at home.â
thanks to @ramos123 for being my beta reader! <3
ao3
âBet.â
Marinette slapped a crisp 20-dollar bill onto the wooden table with enough force to slosh around the brown liquid in the cup sitting before Alyaâs smirking face.
Chez Vous was the name of the café they had been sitting in for the past fifteen minutes. The place had a nice ambience, the quiet chatter of customers and aromatic smells combining to make what was an unusually cozy atmosphere considering the location.
Gotham wasnât exactly known for being hospitable, but she supposed the fact that it was clearly fashioned after Parisian cafĂ©s contributed to the homey feel. It vaguely reminded her of her parentsâ bakery as well, so it certainly lived up to its name.
Perhaps it was this sense of familiarity that had her and Alya reminiscing on how far theyâd come. It hadnât been that long since lycĂ©e or universitĂ©âthe two were only 22 and 23, respectivelyâbut recalling the good times theyâd shared was always fun to do.
Of course, their friendship had momentary blips (ahem, Lila), but the two had managed to sort out their problems eventually. Now that Alya had become more attuned to Marinetteâs boundaries and there were no pressing superhero secrets to keep, they knew how to both ground and challenge each other in positive ways. Which was exactly what had caused Marinette to get herself into this situation.
While chattering about their lycée days, Alya poked fun at her once again for what had transpired on the day of the Animan akuma. How could she ever forget that while secretly masquerading as a superhero and locking her best friends in an empty gorilla habitat together, she had somehow helped them end up in a relationship? And now the two were engaged.
This topic somehow lead to Adrien and the stupid puns he spewed both in superhero and civilian form. Alya was insistent that Marinette was charmed by them at some point, to which she replied, No way! They were horrible. Even I could do better.
It was with twinkling eyes that her best friend asked âBet?â and well, Marinette was never one to back down from a challenge. So after pulling out some spare cash from her purse and setting it down in front of Alya, she raised a brow.
A wicked smirk grew on her best friendâs face, and any lesser person would have faltered, but Marinette was prepared for anything that could possibly be thrown at her.
âFine. If youâre so confident, I dare you to use a pick-up line on⊠him.â
As if on cue, the bell at the top of the glass-paneled wooden door jingled, and Marinette followed Alyaâs pointed finger right on time to see a very attractive man walk through.
He had a confident stride, but not an arrogant oneâhis aura was one of someone who was assured and knew exactly what they were capable of.
Despite his seemingly laid-back disposition, she didnât fail to notice how his eyes darted around the room cautiously, the same habit she had gotten used to doing after she had been given the Ladybug Miraculous. Then again, this was Gotham, so being on constant guard was only natural.
One thumb was hooked in the pocket of his jeans while the other moved up to ruffle his hair, and wow did he have nice hair.
It was perfectly coiffed, and if she didnât have experience with hairstyling due to her career she wouldâve thought it was as effortless as it looked. Most models would kill for the natural luster his locks seemed to have, and even from a distance she could tell that anyone who decided to run their fingers through his hair would be met with softness.
And she didnât even want to get started on his face. From his glowing skin to his strong jaw and pretty eyes, she refused to believe someone so attractive could be real. It was unfair, really.
â...inette? Marinette? You good there, girl?â
A snap in front of her face broke Marinette out of her stupor, and she offered an instinctual yelp in response.
âWhat?â
Alyaâs eyes twinkled knowingly, and Marinette shifted anxiously in her seat.
âYou sure you werenât checking him out?â
âAlya!â
Said girl let out a mischievous cackle at her hissed response.
âNow get over there!â she said, waving her hands around in a shooing motion.
Marinette glanced over to the line, where the man was no doubt giving the barista his order.
From what she could tell he was just about done, and she watched as he shuffled through his wallet to hand the barista a bill. But rather than proceed normally as most client-worker interactions would, his payment was met with wide eyes and flailing hands.
Marinette was much too far to discern what was being said, but from context clues she could deduct that he had just handed the barista quite a sizable amount. She had already guessed he was well-off from simply observing the quality of his clothes, but this was near confirmation.
It wasnât as if status or wealth mattered much to her, but she did have a tendency to be wary of higher-class people due to past experiences with them. Being around them really wasnât as pleasant as it seemed.
Her musing was interrupted when the man suddenly moved, relocating to the waiting line. There was her chance.
Marinette pushed herself out of her seat, steeling herself and lifting her chin high. This was no biggie. All she had to do was somehow convince this gorgeous man to give her his number by making a crappy pick-up line and a pun on the spot. It wasnât anything she hadnât done before, but this felt different, probably because it was a total stranger she was about to attempt it on.
She felt Alyaâs gaze trailing after her with each step, and Marinette reminded herself that she absolutely had to succeed or she would never hear the end of it.
The closer she got, however, the more her confidence died. Apparently she had made a major miscalculation while gauging her probability of success, because she hadnât accounted for the brain spasm she was currently having. Why, oh why did he have to be so cute?
Marinette had the sinking feeling that she was about to majorly embarrass herself, but she was determined to win. Screw embarrassmentâshe was Marinette Dupain-Cheng. All the trouble she had gotten into with Alix and Kim as kids had prepared her for this very moment. Nothing mattered besides victory.
So she sauntered up confidently, stopping right in front of her target.
âHey, you must be Batmanâs sidekick.â
âWhat?â
The manâs head snapped towards her, and Marinette didnât fail to notice the subtle defensive stance he took. Years of hero experience had made her more perceptive towards these thingsâit was part of the job, after all. She filed the information away in the back of her mind, making a mental note to dissect all that later. Her priority was winning the betâand oh, right, she still had to finish that pick-up line.
â...because youâre Robin my heart.â
The quip was accompanied by an uncharacteristically roguish smile, Ă la Chat Noir. Sheâd give herself a solid 10/10 points on delivery.
Her target seemed to agree with the verdict, because after a split second of shocked silence, he burst into full-bodied laughter.
The instantaneous shift in demeanor nearly caught her off-guard, but she was too occupied by the bright smile on his face and his melodic chuckle to notice. It was light and carefree, and she couldnât help but crack a small smile as a result.
The only problem was that the laughter didnât end, though, and she felt her face heat up more as the seconds ticked by.
Oh, Kwami.
Marinette buried her face into her hands with a soft groan, wishing the ground could just open up and swallow her whole.
She knew it wasnât the greatest pick-up line ever, but she didnât think her attempt warranted that much amusement.
The laugher ceased abruptly, and she peeked through her fingers in time to see the man quickly sober up.
âSorry, I wasnât laughing at you!â
A pause.
âOkay, not exactly. I justâwow, that was a great pick-up line.â
She slowly lowered her hands, though she kept her head down to peer at him through her lashes.
âDid it work?â
He chuckled and offered her a bright smile that made her blush like a high schooler with a massive crush.
âYeah, you can tell your friend over there that you won your bet.â
If it was even possible, she turned redder.
âWhat? HowâŠâ
At the mention of Alya, Marinette sent a quick glance to their café table only to find that she was doing absolutely nothing to hide her rapt attention. She quickly caught on to the fact that they were looking her way and sent a very obvious thumbs-up and wink.
Oh, I am so going to kill her later!
But Marinetteâs momentary vexation made way for embarrassment as the gravity of the situation hit her.
âI guess I wasnât exactly subtle, huh?â
âYeah,â the handsome stranger shrugged. âYou probably could have been more discreet. But I liked it.â
âOkay, thatâs the second time youâve said that, but I have a hard time believing you. You canât possibly tell me that you actually enjoy puns.â
âSo Iâm guessing I shouldnât tell you that meeting you was a fortuitous aster?â
âAster? As in the opposite of disaster?â she wrinkled her nose.
âYou got it!â
Marinette rolled her eyes in exasperation, though the upwards tug at the corner of her lips betrayed her true feelings.
âCareful there, or youâll be the one Robin my heart.â
Sheâd never admit to it, but she flushed a tiny bit before straightening up in realization. Hey, she was supposed to be the one doing the wooing here!
But before she could open her mouth to respond, her companion beat her to it.
âSince youâre stealing something so dear to me, I think itâs only fair that I get my thiefâs name in exchange.â
He was clever, she had to admit.
âMarinette,â she proffered.
âDick.â
She blinked in surprise at the seemingly random obscenity before it clicked.
âOh, thatâs your name!â
The words tumbled forward, and once she realized what she had said, Marinette tried to frantically backpedal. Her spilled apologies didnât seem to be necessary, though, because that mesmerizing laugh came back.
âNo, itâs fine, I get that a lot,â he breathed between chuckles.
She brightened immediately, glad she hadnât offended him or embarrassed herself too much.
âWell, since Iâm already taking something from you, may I steal your number as well?â
âOnly if I can do the same.â
Her inquiry was met with a grin, and the two exchanged phones to type in their respective numbers. Marinetteâs found its way back into her hand shortly after, and moments after she pocketed it the call of âmedium espresso and beignets!â broke the quiet ambience.
âWell, thatâs my order,â Dick said, words weighted by a silent apology. âIâd love to stay and chat, but I have a few things I need to take care of. Maybe we can meet up later this week?â
The end of his sentence lilted up in hope, and Marinette found her chest warming with affection.
âIâd like that.â
She bid him goodbye with a smile and a wave and quickly tacked on an âIâll text you later!â in afterthought.
Sheâd forever deny squealing giddily as she unceremoniously dragged Alya out from her seat and through the cafĂ© doors, but the sound didnât escape Dickâs attentionâor his enhanced hearing, courtesy of Bat-Tech.
As he watched her leave with Alya, a smile slowly spread across his face at the thought of seeing her again.
Yeah, he sighed to himself. Sheâs definitely Robin my heart.

â Being a Pro Hero means having a will of steel, too bad for Shinsou that will of steel has one major kryptonite: a schoolgirls skirt. â
pairing: pro hero!shinsou hitoshi x fem!reader
warnings: 18+, smut, dom!shinsou, bondage (capturing weapon), blindfold, orgasm denial, cursing, praising, mindcontrol, degradation, roleplay
word count: 6,789
a/n: this was a commission!!! omggg!!!! also i used the name mindjack for his pro hero name and neutralizer is your hero name! okay, so like, donât come for me until you read the entire thing. if I get a single message about what I think yaâll might come at me for imma spit on your butter. if you cant eat butter then your oat milk or whateva.
âââčâââââčâââââčââ
Shinsou stood in the kitchen, his Pro-Hero costume on, and his hands pressed onto the countertop. Today was the day that his hero work student was coming in for a small dinner of celebration. After months of conducting some late-night hours and intensive fighting, they had finally taken down an underground crime ring that had been resurfacing in Japan.Â
His fingers ran through his hair, the soft locks parting with his calloused fingers. Years of having to strengthen himself to keep up with physically powerful quirk holders had left his body sharp, hard, and rugged. There wasnât a part of his body that hadnât been bruised; that wasnât without its imperfections.
It was almost hilarious to think of where he used to be, a child in high school who was no stronger than the average person in Japan, and where he was now.Â
Placing his cup to his lip, Shinsou was about to take a drink of water when a knock was heard. A small grin quipped on his face knowing precisely who it was, placing the cup on the table and shoving his hands into his pocket, Shinsou walked over to the front door and opened it.
Opening the wooden door, his violet gaze locked onto a bright and eager set of eyes.
Outside his door stood a young woman who had just recently eighteen with your hair fluttering in the wind. You wore the well-recognized U.A. uniform, your backpack resting on your shoulders. A smile soon grew on your face at the sight of him, and you tilted your head with a small smile in greeting.Â
âNeutralizer,â he greeted with a coy smile, and his body leaned onto the doorway. His eyes drank you in, the swell of your chest against the button up white shirt, the striking red tie, the jacket that remained unbuttoned on your body, the dark socks that reached your knees, and that stupidly short skirt.
âHi, Mindjack-sensei,â you greeted with a bright smile, unfazed by the coyness of his energy and ignorant to his straying eyes. âYou wanted to meet here today?â
He wet his lips and nodded his head, his eyes closing, âWell, I had to celebrate this joyful win with my favorite student, didnât I?â
âIâm your only student,â you snorted, pushing past him and entering his house.
You didnât seem to notice the way his eyes zeroed in on your ass when you passed him, nor did you see how he was nearly drunk off your figure when you bent down to exchange your shoes for his guest slippers.Â
âI think that speaks volumes on how highly I perceive you,â Shinsou lazily grinned, taking your jacket and backpack and went to put them in his closet. âYouâre so great that I donât need to look for another helping hand.â
âWhat will you do when I graduate in these next months?â you asked teasingly, your focus back on Shinsou, and you both held each otherâs gaze while standing in the hallway.Â
âYouâre trying to tell me that you wonât accept my offer to be my sidekick before you go pro?â
His gaze was dangerous, practically begging you in this subdued cat and mouse game to contradict his theory.
âMaybe I am.â
His eyes narrowed; to anyone else, they wouldâve been daunting, menacing, threatening, but to you who had known him for years, you could see right past the playful glare.
âWatch it, punk.â
With that, you walked further into the household and having never been to his house before, you couldnât help but point out the different pictures you saw. There was no stopping you on asserting how weird it was that he went to school with so many well-known heroes. U.A. sure was something else.
The conversation between the two of you flowed like water. There was no dull moment while you stood by the counter, mindlessly eating fruit while exchanging lively words. You had since reaching the bar rolled your sleeves up to your elbows while attempting to catch the fruit that Shinsou was now throwing at you, but most often, they continued to bounce off your nose and go flying onto the floor.Â
âYouâre horrible at this,â Shinsou snorts when you reappear from the floor with the slightly dirty fruit.
âGet a better aim,â you retorted with a snicker, eating the fruit.
But then Shinsou focused in the wrong area. His eyes focused on the way your lips gleamed under the fluorescent lights, coated with what was definitely your saliva and tinted with berry juices. Your lips stunned him with how delicate and soft they looked. How full and sinful they would feel pressed against his lips, wrapped around hisâ
âMindjack-sensei?â
His eyes snapped up to meet your eyes that looked curious, naive to his thoughts, and with the slightest hint of embarrassment.
Recomposing himself, Shinsou cleared his throat and leaned against the counter again, the cold marble digging into his hip. âY/l/n?â
âI was asking why youâre wearing your costume inside your house, itâs a bit dorkish.â
It seemed the embarrassment wasnât from his drinking of your lips, but instead because of your question. Shinsouâs fingers fisted into the capturing weapon that rested around his neck. Honestly, he had no idea why he did; his costume was definitely a very comfortable piece, and well, he didnât exactly go out on the field today, so it was clean.
But when he went to answer your question, his eyes saw the way your teeth gnawed on your bottom lip, and the way that you leaned in closer. Such a flustered school girl. How was he supposed to be professional when you did that? The only thing he could see â the only thing he wanted to see â was you gnawing at your lips when he was fucking you to the heavens, your embarrassment keeping you from being as loud as you could be.
âCome here,â Shinsou commanded, his head gesturing to you to move over to his side of the counter.
Obediently, you followed and stepped before him.
Fuck, you were tiny compared to him. Shinsou looked down at you, your eyes stared up at him curiously, unsure of what he was going to say or do.
âWhat do you think about me?â
Your eyes widened, your tongue coming out to lick your lips nervously. What was that kind of question? You thought he knew exactly what you thought about him? âWell, um, I think youâre an excellent Pro Hero! Youâve taught me a lot in my work-study, and Iâll forever be grateful for you!â
It seemed like an appropriate response, not too harsh, and it wouldnât be enough to inflate his ego. But it seemed that he wasnât in agreement with your thoughts, his hand came to rub his stubbled cheeks, and his eyes darkened.
âWhat else?â
The words sent a shiver down your spine at those words. There was so much intention behind what that could mean. What was he trying to insinuate here?
âIâm sorry, I donât follow.â
Shinsou took a drink of his water, his eyes still focused on you. His gaze as calculating, as if he was studying a bug under a microscope. Your locked stares were unbreakable and soul searching, and as you were now just growing used to while on the field, a sense of an upcoming battle was flaring on your instincts. Placing the cup down, he took a step forward, a smirk pulling at his lips.
âWhat do you think of me?â
âI-I already told you,â you stammered, taking the smallest step back, but your didnât retreat when he took another step closer. âYouâre a very goodâ.â
âNot like that,â he growled lowly, his eyes dropping down to your breasts, to the swell of your hips.
It was becoming increasingly harder to breathe, his musky scent was overwhelming your nose, sending shivers down your spine, and there was nothing you could do but gasp for air.
âI donât think I understandâŠâ
Shinsou was now entirely parallel to you, your chest nearly touching his while he leaned down, his lips ghosting the shell of your ear. You could no longer breathe, unable to focus or think of anything but the fact that your boss â your mentor â was seemingly admitting that he was attracted to you.
âHow do I make you feel?â he nearly panted in your ear. âAll I know is that you drive me fucking insane with how beautiful you are, youâre so fucking pure, yet I know you know what youâve been doing.â
âMindjack-senseiâ!â you squeak, your face radiated heat. You tried to stumble back, to deny his accusations, but his hands were on your waist, keeping you cemented in place.
âDo you want me the way I want you? The way I want to fuck you until your body is forever printed into the mattress of my bed? To have you begging until my bed frame breaks?â
Shinsou grin turned sly at the way you trembled against his hold.
âDonât you think about fucking me, kitten? Because I can only think about your pretty lips and pussy around my cock. I bet you have such a pretty fucking pussy too.â An audible moan left your lips, and Shinsouâs fingers tightened around your waist to the point he was most likely leaving bruises. He was enjoying the way you were obviously enjoying this too. âYou like this? Mm, of course, you would. Such a dirty little kitten, I bet youâre already fucking wet, wanting nothing more than my cock to fuck you into oblivion.â
âMindjack-sensei,â you gasped in horror of his words despite your body pressing flush against his. His words hadnât been false, by god did you want him to fuck you into oblivion, but you always pressed those feelings aside because he was a respected authority. He could have just about anyone as a top hero, so why would he want a high school student who worked for him? Shinsou let out a sharp stream of air at the feeling of your thigh rubbing against his growing boner. âWe canât do this! If weâre caught, weâllââ
âWe canât do this? On the contrary, I think we can fucking do this. No one has to know, but if you donât want me the way I want you, thatâs okay. Tell me to stop then,â he interrupted you, his fingers pulling at the waistband of your skirt, his teeth nibbling at your ear. âTell me you donât feel the same way about me, and Iâll stop.â
Your chest heaved, your body screaming at you to let him fuck you. Youâve wanted him for so long, to have him buried balls deep within you, calling him yours and no one elseâs. But your brain â your anxieties â screamed at you that this was wrong because he is your teacher. What if something terrible were to happen because of this?
âNothing bad will happen,â Shinsou murmured, and you stopped breathing at the way his warm breath fanned against your neck. âI promise.â
You pushed away, your eyes wide while looking up at his violet gaze that seemed to grow impossibly darker. You had been under his mind control before, countless days being spent to see who could use their quirk faster, him or you. Each and every time so far, you had bitterly lost, you knew what it was like to be under control. To have your ability to choose what you wanted to do or not taken away. You knew what it was like to not have free will, but this was not it.Â
You could choose.
You would choose.
Gulping, your fingers rose to his soft purple hair, raking through the short purple locks that were ever present in your fantasies and dreams.
âFuck me then.â
His lips pressed against yours immediately, and your breathing nearly stopped at the immediate contact. The scruff on his cheeks, chin, and jaw tickled the softness of your own skin, and only continued to scratch against your skin when the kiss increased in intensity. His mouth drank you in quickly, the heat of his mouth making you overwhelmingly woozy. The kiss alone was sending throbbing heat to your core, your cunt already feeling slick with your essence just from this kiss that youâve wanted for so long.
Shinsou then took a step forward, and you took a step back, a dance between these new lovers until your back was slammed against a wall. With the feeling of the cold wall pressing into your back, the knowledge of where this was going shot through you.
âHow do you want me to fuck you, kitten?â Shinsou growled against your mouth, pulling away afterward so that his nearly black with lust irises burned into your own. âTell me your deepest fantasy.â
You wheezed when he lifted you up, the height difference between the two of you was too grand for him to grind his hardened cock into you while merely standing. The growing slick in your panties grazed against his hardness, and you pressed your hands onto his shoulders. Your head lolled backward; the shuddering pleasure from the harsh graze was already overstimulating you. His mouth latched onto your exposed neck, pressing spicy-sweet kisses onto the soft skin, his hips pressing hardened circles into your growing heat.Â
âI want you to,â you swallowed, your mouth running dry from his actions, mind unable to keep up with his pleasure gaining effects.Â
âWhat do you want, kitten?â he growled against your growing slick neck. His fingers were kneading and pulling at your covered breasts, someone how managed to press onto your nipples despite not knowing your naked body. Fisting your hands into his hair, you tugged hard at the roots, the pleasure shooting through your body unignorable.Â
âI want you to use your capturing weapon on me,â you plead, your hips jerking against his in frantic attempt to get this going. âI want you to blindfold me â fuck, I want you to use your quirk on me, deny me, overstimulate me, I donât care. I just want your cock in my pussy.â
âMy, my, youâve been thinking about this for a while now, havenât you?â Shinsou grinned with a burst of barking laughter at your embarrassment of being caught. âHow many times have you thought about me bending you over in the middle of an alleyway, right after a successful mission, fucking you as congratulations?â
âS-Shinsouâ!â you whimpered at the way his hips were now embedding into you as if you two werenât fully clothed, but already fucking like savage animals.
âI want to hear you call me sensei when Iâm fucking you,â he grunts against your throat.
âNot daddy?â you squeak when he pulls away from the wall, and your arms wrap around his neck in precaution. His hard cock now presses deliciously against your heated core, the movement of his walking legs adding to the slow and imbued sensations running their course through your body.
âMaybe another day,â he chuckled deep within his throat.
You felt a chill run through your spine at the way he possessively grabbed onto your waist, his body leaning down to press your back against the soft mattress of his bed. His lips were so ardent against your skin. The body heat expelling from his person, making you sweat when his lips dominated you again.
Your lips glided over each other, your fingers fisting into his shirt with undeniable electricity pouring down your spine. Powerful and sharp pulses slamming through your body when he ground his hips down onto you.Â
âSensei,â you whimpered when his needy lips pressed once more against your cold neck. The contradicting temperatures quickly spun your head, and your eyes clenched closed, trying to focus in on these exhilarating sensations. âPlease, sensei doâ oh my god.â
Shinsouâs hips were grinding insistently into your, his fingers now pressing into your clit above your panties, expertly rubbing figure eights into your puffy bundle of nerves. Your legs trembled around his waist, your head flying backward with the beating of your heart heavy between your thighs.
âDo what, kitten?â he asked, his teeth marking purple ringed bruises onto your collarbone, enjoying the angry warm colors appearing on your skin. âIs your sensei making you feel good? What do you want from me right now, use your words? Fuck, youâre gorgeous.â
The last bit is no louder than a mere whisper, but itâs loud in your ears. You hadnât even stripped yet, and he had these opinions on you! The intensity of that piece of knowledge made your knees weak with the thought of how intense his own emotions were â for how long has he wanted you in the same way you wanted him? Your mouth opened with a chill running down your spine, your hips grinding down onto his circling fingers.
âNow, I donât like being disrespected,â he warned, his finger stilling against your clit. You, however, were already consumed by the pleasure that throbbed deep in your core over his nimble fingers teasingly touching where you wanted him most. Your hips still roll against his stiff appendages, and he chuckles at the almost needy and pathetic whimpers that expel from your lips. Your eyes are again shut, mouth opened, and body begging for more.
âStop grinding,â he commands, his left hand pressing onto your hip, stilling any and all actions from you. You groaned loudly, disappointment and disapproval profoundly evident on your face when you finally opened your eyes.
âSenseiââ you whined, but your hips stopped nonetheless, a pout on your lips.Â
âI want you right now,â he says quietly, but his words are firm, unwavering, and genuine. His fingers trace the inside of your thighs, making you jerk with horny anticipation until you felt like taking in charge of him. âCan I fuck you right now, kitten?â
The words almost knock the wind out of you, the innocent yet well-knowing tone on his tongue enough to make you bite down on your lip harshly while you nodded. âFuck me right now.â
Shinsou lips stretched into a cunning smirk, his teeth capturing his mouth while he nodded, âI hope you know what youâre getting yourself into.â
Sitting up, your eyes took in his body that was hidden under his baggy clothes, much like his own mentor. You did nothing to conceal the way your teeth tugged at your lower lip in lustful need, and your hand pressed down onto the restrained bulge in his pants, grinning when he twitched under your hot hand.Â
âI want sensei to fuck me, to fill me with his cock and cum until no one can deny that Iâm yours, sensei,â you mewled in his ear.
Without a second thought or a moment to realize what was happening, your shirt was ripped off your person, the buttons scattering loudly against the wooden floor. You shouted in complete shock when Shinsou tugged the red tie off your neck and tossed it on the corner of the bed, and your skirt was thrown to the floor. You lay on the bed exposed in just your undergarments, but they were more than only your regular garments. Shinsouâs eyebrow quirked up upon recognizing that the piece you were wearing was lingerie â expensive lingerie at that.
His eyes met yours, and your eyes swam with confidence that made him stop.
âWere you expecting this?â he asked softly, his fingers grabbing onto the bridge of your bra. His touch so gentle, so soft, it was almost as if he touched it for too long he would destroy the lace fabric of your lingerie.
âItâs hard not to be extra prepared when celebrating with sensei,â you fluttered your eyelashes as you shifted so that you were now straddling his hips. Your body was pressed firmly against his, your mouth ghosting the shell of his ear, âEspecially when I want my sensei to fuck me until Iâm only his.â
The small victory you gained from being able to distract the Pro Hero was soon snuffed out when cold, and steel-like cloth wrapped all over your legs and arms and slipped between your teeth. The world spun when your face and chest was then shoved into the mattress.
âSee what you make me do to you, kitten?â
You whimpered loudly at the arched position you were contorted into. Despite your discomfort, your core ached in need, flaring with this dominative aura that burned to life within him. This is what you had been craving since the beginning, you wanted nothing more than for the purple-haired hero to bend you to his will, to make you no better than some damn puppet while he fucked you deep into his bed.
âLook at you, youâre fucking soaked, and I havenât done so much as grazing your clit!â Shinsou chuckles, leaning closer to you until you could feel his warm breath fanning against your clenching wet hole. âYouâre such a dirty kitten, wanting your senseiâs cock. I guess your sensei is going to have to teach you a few things about mannerisms and make sure youâre fucked to completion.â
You chocked against the cloth in your mouth; it was pressing harshly against your tongue, riling your gag reflexes until saliva poured from your mouth. You weakly looked at Shinsou, your cheeks feeling like they were on fire, your pussy clenching in its attempt to draw him nearer. This was so dirty though, he was older than you, he was your mentor â your sensei. You shouldnât be letting him talk to you this way, letting him tease your soaked folds, but you wanted his cock â you needed your senseiâs cock to ruin you for anyone ever again.Â
Shinsou looked at you, his eyes glinting dangerously as if he could read your filthy thoughts while his fingers slid off the black panties until they bunched at your angled knees. Your arch deepens at the feeling of the cold air now reaching your blazing core, and your eyes rolled to the back of your head while you wantonly whine. The restraints on your wrists and ankles were tight, sending just the minutest bit of discomfort through your nerves to send you wiggling your ass impatiently.
But as you stared up at Shinsou, and the way his coarse fingers dug into your hips. His heated fingers dragged against your smooth skin until he caught you staring. âYou donât need to be looking at this, kitten.â
The binding left your mouth and wrapped around your eyes. The cold and wet with your saliva metal binding to your face caused a sensation to course through you that was foreign. It disgusted you on a shallow level but fueled the gagging moan that pressed in your throat.
âSensei!â you squeaked, not expecting this to happen so soon. Especially with the fact that your body was ultimately under his domination.Â
Your lack of sight immediately sent all your other senses to one hundred, and you were acutely aware of the fact that he was no longer touching you. You knew he was in the room, but you couldnât sense him. You only knew that your ass was perked into the air, your arms shot before you in a position that you never knew you could achieve without weight to shove your chest further down.
Shinsou, however, was behind you, his eyes focused on your shining heated slick cunt. A groan emits slowly from his mouth, and he almost relishes in the way that you twitch towards him, the blindfold doing precisely what he had hoped for. Rumbling lowly in his chest, Shinsou inserted two nimble fingers into your wet cunt, moaning at the way that your walls are tight against him. It was so lewdish in the way that your walls were already milking his fingers, begging for more despite the initial entrance.
Your legs trembled, and your mouth fell at the feeling of his foreign fingers entering your spasming cunt. Itâs a feeling you immediately burn into your skin. You want this; you crave this. His fingers reach knuckle deep against your heated walls, and they clench around him whenever he attempts to move.
âYour pussy is so pretty and so fucking tight, and all I have in you is my fingers,â Shinsou groans, his fingers curling smoothly within you. Your hips snap backward, trying to fuck yourself against his appendages, desperate the elevated pleasure felt as his fingers moved against you. Desire soaks your body, and you thrust your hips against his fingers, uncaring about how needy this looked.
His fingers were buried in your cunt, and you whined loudly at the feeling of his fingers pushing and pressing against your velvet walls. The feeling of his fingers stroking your walls, sending your body thrusting forward and backward. They continue this pace, not slow enough to be teasing, but not quick enough to satisfy your needs.
âDonât tease me, sensei,â you pant, your ass moving and wiggling in the air while he manipulated your body under his ministrations. âI want you to â please, fuck my pussy so good!â
There was no response to your pleading, only action. His fingers then hooked within you, scissoring, and even pressing against your walls until nothing was coming out of you except the squelching noises of his fingers digging deeper into your cunt. His hero name a mantra on your lips.Â
âSuch a pretty little kitten, taking my fingers so well. I canât wait to see how youâll react against my cock. I bet your cries will be fucking cute to hear,â he chuckled, his thighs hugging against yours, and you moaned at the feeling of his hard cock pressing against your lower belly. You whimpered loudly at the sensation, craving nothing more than to have his cock buried deep within you instead of his fingers.
âSensei, please!â you begged, the feeling of him all over you. Yet the denial of both seeing him and having his cock buried deep within you was too much. âI donât want senseiâs fingers, I want senseiâs cock â fuck, please!â
Shinsou chuckled, his fingers left your cunt, and you whimpered at the way your body felt so cold and empty without him buried within you.
âYouâve been good so far, I think you deserve my cock,â he grinned, his breathing heavy and hot against your spine. Your back arched and your body trembled with excitement and nerves as he guided his cock against your wet slit.
Then his hips pressed forward, only the tip of his head pushing through your folds. Teasing you, tormenting you with this half fullness when you knew his cock was much bigger.
âStop playing unfairly, sensei!â you squawk, your hips trying to slam back to take him more in, but he predicts it and moves back with you. More of his cock leaves you, and you cry in blatant need and horrid horniness.Â
âDonât you have any embarrassment?â he chuckles, his hands finally removing the bra on your chest, and his fingers grip and pull at your nipples. You shudder against his hold, curse that he was so much bigger than you. You needed more of his cock, but he didnât seem willing to give it to you. âA schoolgirl asking her sensei to fuck her silly, do you know what youâre doing to me, kitten? So fucking dirty, so fucking needy. You want my goddamn dick, you better admit that youâre a stupid little girl who wants her sensei for the rest of her fucking life.â
There was nothing but pure electric shivers that poured through your body at those words, and still, you needed him. Your mouth let out a strained whimper; the slightly circling of his fat cock buried an inch into your cunt, a reminder that you needed to get him fully within you.
âIâm a dirty stupid fucking little girl who wants my sensei and his fucking cock for the rest of my fucking life,â you parrot with no shame, your hips bouncing in hopes of engaging him. âI only want my sensei!â
âSuch a good kitten, saying such pretty things,â he sighs, but still, he doesnât penetrate you fully.Â
But he does begin to move.
Itâs teasing and by every means maddening feeling the first three inches of his swollen dick push into you and exit. The feeling of the veins on his cock dragging against your sensitive walls made you stammer his name. But that wasnât good enough, no Shinsou wanted you to howl his name to the heavens, to make sure that everyone knew what a good sensei he was.
His hips move in faster to meet the back of your thighs. With the slowly deepening penetration, your eyes lull to the back of your head, your tongue pooling from your mouth.
âSay more pretty things, or Iâll take my fucking cock away,â he growled, his fingers digging impossibly deeper into your waist.
âSensei!â you squirm, your back arching like a cat the second the tip of his cock drags against your particular spot.
âWhat did I say about not following what I command!â
You splutter, your body thrashing against his stilling hips, âBut senseiâs cock! It makes me so dumb!â you whine, your fingers digging into the mattress when he slowly starts again. âItâs so big, so thick in my tight pussy! Sensei, please defile me, please make me cum! Cum in my pussy, please! I need you, sensei!â
Those must have been some magic words because Shinsou snarled, and his hips hammered into you. Sending your arms sprawling, your scream of pleasure and glee dripping from your throat. The way that his cock is now brushing over your g-spot again and again was too much.
âFuck, fuck, fuck!â
âYour pussy is so fucking tight,â he gasped, his hands slamming your ass back against him. The slapping of your skin on his pelvis sends your eyes fluttering behind the blindfold. He was contorting your body to his will. âAfter today, Iâll make sure youâll always be able to take me, all of me, no matter how wet you are.â
Your voluptuous moans are untamable, your thighs trembling with the upcoming orgasm that you can feel throbbing from your toes.
âI needa cum!â you sob, hoping that with how he was drilling against your g-spot, it would be soon.
âYou donât get to cum yet.â
You cried when he pulled out of you completely, and the capturing weapon wrapped around your waist, and you were suddenly pulled to your knees. You heard a familiar sound of a body dropping to the bed, and his hands replaced the fabric around your waist.
âYouâre going to ride your senseiâs cock,â he instructed, pulling you down towards him so that your dripping wet cunt was once against grinding against the tip of his dick. âShow sensei what a good kitten youâve been, what a great hero youâve become because of me.â
You swallow thickly, your mind swimming with lust and need while his swollen cock twitches at your entrance, âIâm going to show sensei that heâs taught me well.â
âDamn right, you will.â
And with that, he lowered you.
While the blindfold around your eyes obstructed your vision, your sight was wholly taken away from you by his actions. When Shinsou guided you onto his cock, the feeling of his thick veiny length reentering your cunt that begged for his return nearly took your sight away. He wasnât even within you yet, only the tip of his cock penetrating your slit once more, teasing your walls that clenched in desperation for him. âDonât tease me, sensei,â you pant, the capturing weapon preventing you from lowering yourself fully onto him, but surprisingly, he does as you hope for.Â
Then, what youâve wanted this entire time. His hips thrust forward at the same moment that youâre dropped onto his cock, and your jaw splits into a soundless scream.
âSHINSOU!â you scream, and his fingers that have your dried slick are placed into your mouth.
âSuck.â
Without arguing, your mouth clamps around his fingers and sucks your essence clean from his fingers. He holds you from behind, his free hand meshing and tweaking at your breasts, making sure to tease and pull at your sensitive nipples until your legs were shaking underneath you.Â
His hand rips from your mouth, a trail of saliva following after his mouth. You can only cry louder, more wantonly of how the cold saliva dribbles onto your overheating body. Your head slams back against him, and his hot breath fans against your collarbone while the capturing weapon still proceeds to make you bounce against his cock. Every bounce sends his cock deeper within your clamping cunt, stretching you out in unimaginable ways until your walls spasming around his length because you need more.
You whine into his ear, your mouth pressing blind and sloppy kisses against his slick with sweat neck.
Itâs when both his hands bring your hips down to him, his cock finally bottoming out entirely within you, does the most primal moan rip through your mouth. You convulse on his lap, trying to move as the head of his cock buries against your cervix, and you swear behind the blackness of your vision, you can see the entire galaxy. You tremble on top of him, wordless cries pittering from your mouth while he nibbles onto your earlobe.
âFuck, kitten, I can feel your cervix against my cock,â Shinsou grunts, and you rise and falls against his throbbing cock.Â
âYouâre filling me out, sensei,â you cry, your hips bouncing up and down, the feeling of his cock pressing up against your cervix, making you dizzier by the second. âSenseiâs cock is so fucking big, heâs filling and stretching me out so much! My pussy canât â fuck â I canât take it, sensei!â
âYou can take it,â Shinsou growls into your neck, his hands rising you up and down against his cock. The soft slapping of your ass meeting his thighs a drum in your ear. âYouâre taking my cock so fucking well, I taught you â Iâm teaching you better, I know you can do this kitten.â
You soon readjust to the numbing pleasure, the bruising pleasure, and pain that comes with his cock slamming against your cervix. The way that he thrusts up into you, stretching out your walls far more than you was ever used to.
âI canât fuck you correctly like this,â he growled, and the restraints yanked you forward once more.
You yelped loudly when you were now on your back, your ankles by your wrists, and your cunt exposed to him completely. In seconds flat, he was buried back into you, but the angle of being on your back aided to the curve of his cock, and your spine nearly snapped in the way you reacted to the pleasure spasming in your toes. This was what you wanted. âSensei, your cock! SHIT! Oh my god, oh my god, this angleâ!â
Your voice lessened to a senseless babble, your sentences blurring together, and your cheek pressed into the mattress and drool pooled from your lips. You feel his hot and robust shoulder touch against the backside of your thighs. With your thighs to support him, he begins to drill his hips into you.
His pace is completely irreplicable, every maddening powerful thrust of his hips shoves you closer to the headboard. The wet slapping echoing throughout the room when he pierces into you almost drowned out both of your senseless cries. His fingers dig into your skin, leaving purple fingerprints on your soft skin, and it amplified your howls of pleasure.Â
Fire erupts in your cunt, an overwhelming heat that throbs right in your core, and with every slam of his hips, it grows only more.Â
Intensifying.Â
Deepening.Â
The temperature of your body sizzles off you in large heat, and you swear that your sweat evaporates with every slam of his hips. His lips press against yours, a maddening escape of lust and need exchanging between your parted lips. Your salvia is everywhere, covering both of their faces with the sticky coldness. But that didnât stop him; it only fueled him to kiss you entirely, engulfing you with his mouth, daring you with his tongue.
You were barely keeping up with his snapping hips, your mouth begging for more when he suckled on your tongue.
Her walls fluttered and clamped around him, a constant reminder of the impending orgasm that you could no longer warn him about.
âDo you need to cum?â he huffs against the corner of your mouth, his hips continuing to drill dangerously fast and deep into you.
âY-Yes, sensei, I needa come so badly! Let me come against sensei big cock, please!â you sobbed, your body trying to press even closer to him. It was at that moment, the revelation that you were close that his quirk washes over you.Â
Itâs a weird feeling, your body continues to feel disgustingly on fire, like an illness burning you from the inside out. But youâre no longer in control, your mind fuzzy and muggy, but he continues to fuck you as if you werenât there. The coil that had wound so tightly in the core of your uterus seemed frozen. No longer tightening to the point of snapping, but so tight that it pained you that he now denied you a release.
âWell, Iâm not ready,â he pants, âyou donât cum until I do.â
His hips now work against you with untapped vigor he had not been using before. One hand holding your leg over his shoulder, the other keeping your hips in place as he continued to push his cock deep within you. Your body was by all terms relaxed, not a single muscle was tense while he drilled into you, his fingers massaging your clit and nipples. But your mind was alert, thoroughly overworked, over thrilled, and feeling like you were moments from exploding with no choice but to keep it in.Â
His sweat dripped onto your body, and your drool slowly slipped from your lips.Â
It pained you not to moan, the inability to move your hips against his rutting ones nearly driving you insane until he was snarling like a savage beast, and with his teeth buried into your neck, you only heard one thing before your vision turned white.
âCum.â
You werenât sure whether you broke free from his quirk because he let you go or because the orgasm that crashed through you sent your body snapping up and rolling them over so that Shinsou was on his back. But the orgasm was still ripping through you. Powerful waves of insane pleasure drumming deep within you until there was nothing left but that hollowness that came after an orgasm.
Your breathing was erratic, your heartbeat on your tongue while you looked down at him with a frazzled expression.
âHoly fuck, âtoshi,â you gasped, your hands pulling away at the tie from your eyes, and now you held onto your breasts. Your brain must have short-circuited because nothing was running through your mind, no matter what you tried to think about.Â
âLook at that,â he mused, looking down at his lower abdomen. You followed his eyes, and a blush brightened your face at the clear liquid that coated his abs.Â
You had squirted.
âWell, that was fucking hot, I donât blame ya,â he chuckles, bringing you in. âHow are you feeling? I know I was pretty deep in you, sorry.â
You sighed, nestling into his chest, finally relaxed. It took a bit of willpower to ignore the slick wetness that came with your mixed cum sprayed out onto his lower stomach. His lips pressed against your temple, and you sighed wistfully, tiredly.
âIâm fine, âtoshi,â you affirm, grinning at him. âI might have problems walking tomorrow, so youâll just needa help me.âÂ
He chuckles but nods in agreement. Tapping you on your waist, he rolls you over so that youâre relaxing on the bed, and he pulls out, and you groan at the lack of his dick in you. Waving off your protests, he leaves and reappears with a damp washcloth. Without speaking, he begins to gently clean you up, placing tender and scratchy kisses against your body.
You grin when your husband finally collapses back onto the bed and pulls you in close, his nose rubbing against your bruised collarbones, eliciting a sharp squeal from you.
âMaybe Iâll pull out my old schoolgirl skirt more often,â you giggle, and he hummed in agreement. âIt was fun.â
âI think that would be perfect.â
âHappy anniversary, sensei.â
âHappy anniversary, kitten.â

There seems to be no middle ground with RWBY+, they trust you or they donât. Some have no chance to âearnâ it, but others donât do anything to gain it. James shouldâve earned it a hundred times over. He did so much but it wasnât enough. What did Robyn do? She tried to attack Ruby and was only stopped by Penny. After that? Yang trusts the woman who almost hurt her sister over the man who gave her an arm, then blamed Ruby. Any wonder I hate these characters so much?
The frustrating thing is that I think I can see what RT was going for. Frustrating because it's the reading most of the fandom falls back on, despite the fact that the show... never actually wrote that story. In short, it's the belief that there's established good and bad in this world and we have a responsibility to uphold the former regardless of personal trust. So if a friend of mine is, say, being a racist asshole and a stranger is not, I have a moral responsibility to side with the stranger, despite the fact that I don't know them, technically can't trust them on other matters, and have little to no emotional investment in them as an individual. You need to take the side of what's right, no matter how hard that is. It's why we get so many heroes facing off against former friends and mentors. "You'd really betray me for them?" they say, pointing to the sidekick our hero only met at the start of the story, maybe a couple months ago in-world. "Yeah," they reply. "Because they're not trying to kill everyone." Basic humanity trumps long-term relationships.
That, as far as I can tell, seems to be the basic setup that RWBY was going for: Robyn may be a stranger, but she's the Good Person sticking up for Mantle, whereas Ironwood may be an ally and friend, but he's also the Bad Person hurting Mantle. Ergo, aligning with Robyn wins out, no matter that she's a stranger and Ironwood an ally. That's likewise why fans are so quick to dismiss evidence of Ironwood's good nature. Things like Yang's arm or the licenses aren't accepted as evidence for why the group should have started with more trust in him, they're reframed as excuses for why critics supposedly want to overlook his presumed, horrific nature â something that the story later made real with him shooting Oscar, killing the councilman, hacking Penny, and threatening to bomb Mantle. Viewing the good Ironwood did as some manipulative temptation the group was right to resist depends entirely on seeing Ironwood as the archetypal bad guy to Robyn's good guy.
However, this attempt failed spectacularly for numerous reasons already discussed over the past two years. Ironwood's actions were never revealed as manipulations. The group continued to work with him, thereby shouldering responsibility for his choices. Ruby actively pushed to complete Amity, despite the harm it was doing to Mantle. Robyn never did anything with the resources she stole, etc. This presumed line between Ironwood and Robyn simply doesn't exist in the text â or at least it's incredibly blurred â so when Yang and Blake run to share intel with her, it doesn't feel like the heroes turning away from the wrong path to back the real hero. We don't understand how resources to build a communications tower are hurting everyday peoples' lives. We don't understand why Weiss can't just go up and plug the hole with a bunch of ice. We don't understand why, if hurting Mantle is such an objectively awful thing, our hero Ruby keeps pushing to finish Amity anyway. We don't understand why there isn't at least an acknowledgement of good intentions here, considering that the tower is meant to save the world from Salem, helping Mantle in the long run. We don't understand why, if the group is so concerned with Ironwood's choices, they don't tell him the one piece of information that would get him to stop. And we don't understand Robyn.
Because here's the thing: it's badly written. The whole Amity debate straight through to the Fall of Atlas is a mess of ill thought out morals, shoddy worldbuilding, and outright contradictions. There's no salvaging that without rethinking Volumes 6-8, starting with the group's response to Ozpin. But all that aside, even if we kept things exactly as they are and bought into the assumption that Ironwood is as Bad and Robyn is as Good as the story wants us to believe... the group still should have at least hesitated to trust Robyn. More than a line or two of dialogue between Yang and Blake. I mean actual hesitation and a serious acknowledgement of the complications here. The concept of trust is now a focal point of RWBY and there's enough material across the entire series to make the Robyn situation way more complicated than just the group going, "We should side with her because she wants to do right by the people." Here I'm not talking about what we the audience know about RWBY's construction as a story, I mean what the characters have experienced on screen. It's a simple question at the core of the trust Robyn debate:
How do they know she's telling the truth?
Seriously, how do they know Robyn is who she says she is? That she doesn't have ulterior motives? That she's not outright lying to them and the rest of Atlas? Everything I've heard in defense of the group's fast-track trust falls short. "Well, she's presented as one of the good guys in Atlas, fighting for what's right." You mean like how Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury once posed as huntsmen and joined Ruby's school, supposedly fighting for what was right? "She's interested in politics. It's not like she's out there attacking them like Tyrian." You mean like how Salem infiltrated a kingdom via Lionheart, the White Fang has likewise tried to worm their way into positions of power, and Jacques is currently trying to steal an election? The bad guys don't limit themselves to just trying to murder people straight out. "But she stole resources back for the people!" And did... what with them? For all we actually know, she put those towards a different, nefarious plan. "But she's so passionate and she's sworn she wants to help." People lie! That was the whole thing with Ozpin! Ruby just lied at the start of the Volume. And, funnily enough, Robyn has the semblance that forces others to tell the truth, but no one can make Robyn do the same.
To be clear, I don't actually have a conspiracy theory that she's secretly a baddie. My only point is that fans were right to wonder if she was a White Fang or Salem agent and our group absolutely should have wondered the same. Take away all the personal reasons to trust Ironwood (defending Weiss, Yang's arm, friend of the inner circle, etc.) and we're still left with proof of his intentions in the form of things like Amity's plans and him continually giving the heroes more power, more resources, more connections, more ways to hurt him if they were to ever turn against him. In as much as you can prove anyone is trustworthy, Ironwood was there. But Robyn? Robyn had none of that work. More importantly, that lack interferes with our "She's doing the right thing, so we need to back her" reading. How did the group know she really wanted to do right by the people? And since that's always hard to prove, what did they do to at least attempt to reassure themselves? Absolutely nothing. Which is why the current writing makes them look stupid. They watched the bad guys infiltrate their school, organize the Fall of Beacon, stalk them, pose as allies, turn on them, lie to their faces, are telling lies themselves... and none of them came up when the question of trusting Robyn was put on the table. The idea of someone tricking them (again), or betraying them (again), or lying about Important Topics even though they're doing the same seems to have, somehow, escaped them.
It doesn't matter what Robyn's stance on Mantle is because the group never justified trusting her word and the story failed to show us (and them) that Robyn was doing good. Literally all she does pre-trust is stand for election and, again, we could say the same of Jacques. If the story wanted to make at least a miniscule improvement on this arc, we needed to see either a compelling reason to believe Robyn is all she presents herself as (for example, Penny could have known and vouched for her), or gotten an explanation for why they'd take an unjustified leap of faith when others haven't gotten one, people who have done much to earn that trust. It's a problem that grew exponentially once Oscar trusted Hazel and the group trusted Emerald, but it has existed since Ilia. As it stands, by this logic, Cinder should be able to walk up to the group and go, "I'm not bad anymore. I actually want to help now. No, I'm not lying :)" and that's that. That's what trust means to them. Taking people at their word ...unless you're a flawed ally who has made mistakes. Then trust takes months to rebuild, or is off the table completely.
Ozpin is not trustworthy. Ironwood is not trustworthy. Qrow saying "Hey" is not trustworthy. According to the fandom, Tai is not trustworthy.
Ilia is trustworthy. Robyn is trustworthy. Emerald is trustworthy. Hazel is trustworthy.
It's completely backwards and Robyn was a large part of that strange flip.

The ambience of the local cafe never fails to soothe your nerves. The work of a Hero is neverending. After all, no one can tell when a villain might show up and cause destruction. The Hero business is relentless; they will call you up when the job becomes too much for your sidekicks, even on your days off. Of course, you know what you are getting into the moment U.A reached out to you for recommendation trials, and peoples lives are at stake, it was understandable.
The sidekicks are still learning though that doesn't mean that they are not progressing, being the most experienced in the field, they still need your help. You love helping people, don't get it wrong, their smiles and relief noticeable in their faces and posture, the ease they felt when you show up because they knew you are capable of taking that villain down, is enough to make it all worth it. But the reports you have to type up after the fight is less than exciting. Sure you have someone who can do it for you, but that damned Hero Commission wants it to come from you.Â
So no matter how little time you get to relax, you take advantage of that. Now, here you are, catching up with your best friend since birth in this small, homey cafe. It's rare to have the same day off with someone from class, when you found out that Momo also has her day off today, both of you immediately agreed to meet up. Both of the women practically running up to each other the moment you caught sight on the other side of the road. Wrapping your arms around each other in a tight, and overdue hug, almost squealing in public.Â
The giddiness from your bodies did not stop even after 30 minutes later, laughing and telling stories from your work and personal life. Even though you already know from your weekly - if not nightly - calls from each other. Bakugou once jokingly said you and Momo act more like in a relationship rather than the both of you do. To tease him back, you wondered out loud if both of you are, you would already be married. Let's say he did not like that one bit, informing the office the next day that you are sick, unable to move your legs and sore body. Fucker just gave you a smug look before leaving to work, Bakugou did cook you breakfast though.Â
Speaking of him, "Hey- Uhm, I have something to tell you."Â
Momo looked at you through the top of her mug and gave you a nod. She grew concerned when you bit your lip and traced the rim of your  glass with a finger, "what's wrong?"Â
"It's silly," you chuckled. Nervous to tell the truth, but you knew you had to take this feeling off of you, and there is no one better to tell your problems to other than your ride or die.Â
"Is it about Bakugou?" she took your hand and intertwined your fingers together, rubbing her thumb along the back of your hand.Â
You nodded, "it's just that we haven't spent time with each other as much as we want to. We always find time to eat together, breakfast, lunch, and dinner if one of us is not asleep. We always find time for each other. Now," you gulped. "Now, that rarely happens."Â
Momo listened to your story silently, smiling softly when your eyes met. "It's not silly (N/n) you miss him. And that is normal for couples, have you talked to him about this?â
"No," you shook your head, embarrassed, "I can never find the right time to swoop it in."Â
She hummed, tapping her chin in thought. You swear you can see her eyes lit up for a split second before it disappeared. Maybe it was just the trick of the afternoon light, so you shake it off.Â
"I won't be too worried about him cheating on you if that's what you are implying," your eyes immediately widened and hastily shook your head. Embarrassed flushing red on your face as you frantically waved you hands in denial, "n-no! It's not like that!"
Momo giggled and motioned you to calm down. She's only teasing, no one in class - and the whole world - will question the blond's loyalty towards you.Â
He won't even spare a second glance at any girls who are throwing themselves at him. That was proven when someone tried to flirt with him at a class field trip during your third year of U.A. Bakugou and you only being in a relationship for less than three months, the blond shut her down rather harshly. You almost feel bad, had you not been telling her he had a girlfriend for 10 minutes straight.Â
You laughed in your head evilly at her tears.Â
Do you give a fuck? No not one.
How many fucks do you give? Zero.Â
Were you mean for thinking that? Absolutely.Â
Do you regret the minuscule smirk of victory forming on your lips once she ran off, crying? Nope. She had it coming.Â
"Then there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of," she cooed. "You and Bakugou-san have been inseparable ever since your accidental confession," you groaned, embarrassed. "Maybe he's just busy on a mission? You know how obsessed he is with becoming the number one hero. And now that he's so close to achieving it, he might be losing time for you, but that doesn't mean he loves you any less."Â
A small smile graced your lips at her, thankful to have Momo as your friend to confide in everything. She was and will always be your safe person, other than Katsuki.Â
After going through that enemies-to-lovers arc? Did she think that Bakugou would easily sway to another person's pursuit of him? Nah, both of you fought for the other to give that up easily (either together or against each other).Â
"Make sure to tell him what you feel in all of this. Communication is the most important quality in a relationship." Momo reminded with a stern yet soft voice with a wag of her finger, which caused you to giggle.Â
"Thanks, Momo," the ebony-haired girl only responded with a grin. Her eyes sparkled, excited about what's to come in the next couple of months.Â
~*~*~*~*
Right now, you felt like the worst person on the planet. With only three days away until the five-year-anniversary with the love of your life, finding the perfect present is almost impossible. Curse you and your perfectionism!
Not only that but the last couple of weeks had been hectic. You think your manager and agency is purposefully doing this to make you suffer. Villains attacking were the farthest reason for your stress, surprisingly. Sure there are petty crimes here and there, nothing your sidekicks couldn't handle, but the media stuff are the ones weighing you down. You grew accustomed to taking a quick shower, at times, dinner with the blond before crashing down on the bed passed out.Â
Commercials, photoshoots, travelling, sponsor partnerships here and there, it was almost as if you were back in rising to fame. It was exhausting and frustrating at the same time. You can never seem to find a break anymore. The only time you can rest are lunches with Katsuki and coming home late at night, sleeping.Â
However, both of you made the most out of it after your lunch with Momo a few months ago. You took her advice and told Katsuki how you felt. No surprises, he understands how you felt, gave you a tight hug and explained everything.Â
Sadly, he can't tell you the mission. It was confidential. Only the higher up's and the rest of his teammates knows it. You understand it's part of the job at the end of the day. And to keep you from worrying too much even though you know he's capable of taking care of himself out in the field.Â
Both of you miss each other, and with breakfast and lunch is the only reason you get to see your partner, it was slowly becoming regular to you, much to your dismay. "A small price to pay for becoming a Hero" is what your manager would say.Â
Waking up in the morning to either you or Katsuki making breakfast, taking turns to visit each other at their agency to bring lunch despite the limited time, it was more than enough.
Being in the mere presence of the other is more than enough.Â
"(Y/N)! Five minutes left till you have to go!"Â
The voice of your manager snapped you out of your trance. Turning your gaze from your phone screen to their place in the doorway, clipboard in their grasp, hair messy and dark bags forming under their eyes.Â
A small, sorry smile formed on my lips. Well, at least they're not the only ones.Â
"You know, both of us would look much, much better if you reject a sponsorship or two." you teased, walking up to them and patting their shoulder as you walked past them.
They smiled sarcastically in retort.
"I wouldn't have too if not for getting a raise," they mumbled under their breath. Tiredly rubbing their face, reminding themselves to suck it up, only three more days, these will all be over. A raise and a week vacation promised, the ones to look forward too.Â
"Ah, shit! Almost forgot," they pulled out their phone and typed in another errand.Â
Accompany (Y/N) today, tomorrow, and the next day to find a gift.Â
~*~*~*~
You found it, the perfect gift to give your explosive man.Â
You clapped your hands excitedly, placing the carefully wrapped box on the nightstand atop your beloved night book, away from the possible dangers of the world.Â
Sighing peacefully, a flopped down your shared bed. Curling up the warm blankets and cuddling with Katsuki's pillow, enjoying the peaceful afternoon day.Â
Finally, a day off.Â
The day of your anniversary.Â
This day would have been perfect if your other half was here, you know, spending the rest of your day off together. Waking up with his arms wrapped around you, cooking breakfast with his arms still around you, even walking around with his arms around you.Â
However, you can't find it annoying. After months of being apart, that was the most and longest physical touch you both have experienced.Â
Unfortunately, the office called him for an emergency. The phone call was urgent. Katsuki furrowed his brows in annoyance and concern as he listens to his sidekick give him the information. To put the cherry on top, he only answered calmy. That's how you know it was severe; they need desperately need Dynamight in action.Â
Katsuki was reluctant to leave, telling you he's already been away from you for too long. His eyes screamed for forgiveness, hesitant, and something else you can't quite place.Â
You pushed him to get dressed, told him if he can finish the mission early, the earlier you can spend the rest of the day together. The fire in his eyes sparkled brighter than ever, accompanied by his menacing grin, accepting the challenge of beating the damned villain who ruined his day faster than they can blink. Â
He pulled you in for a deep kiss before heading out the door, running back for a quick kiss before finally leaving. A giddy giggle erupted from you at his actions, watching him ride away with his motorcycle.Â
With nothing else better to do, you decided that a quick nap wouldn't hurt anybody. You know that Katsuki will be back soon, safe and sound. He's come so far, and stopping him right now when he's so close to achieving his dream would be an insult. You have so much faith in him, one of the many reasons he loves about you.Â
You were ready to drift off into dreamland; had it not been for the insistent and rapid knocking suddenly coming from the front door. Groaning, you muffled your scream in your pillow, wanting to cry from annoyance and stress.Â
Only one person could be doing that. With their strong voice chanting your name over and over again at the same rhythm as the door knocking, your manager must have something important to tell you.Â
Their bright smile greeted you when you opened the door, in contrast to the annoyed and tired look you gave them. Telling you what is needed to be said, you dramatically collapsed, landing on their chest. Another commercial to shoot!
"Don't you know what today is?!" You questioned dramatically, flailing your arms around to exaggerate your point.Â
They smiled apologetically at you, rubbing your back for comfort. "Believe me; you're not the only one dying to sleep right now."
You pouted at them, tiredly rubbing your eyes to chase the sleepiness away.Â
"Don't worry (Y/N)! It will be the last one for a long time! I've made sure to give us both a break for the next couple of months to give you time to discuss something important with Katsuki!"
You tilted your head, confused at their cherry voice and excited smile despite the darkness under their eyes.Â
"What-?"Â
"Let's go! No need to change, costume and your hair and make-up team is already waiting for you, no script needed since you only have to be there, answering the question naturally. And then -"
They continued babbling about what to do the moment you got in the car and towards your destination. As you drive for almost an hour, you noticed the changes in scenery. Gone are the tall skyscrapers and bright lights of the city, now slowly replaced by luscious green grass fields, strong thick trees and clear blue sky that you rarely see nowadays.Â
It was satisfying, seeing the wonders of nature even in it's simplest forms. You sighed, feeling at ease compared to earlier this morning, wishing that Katsuki was here to enjoy this with you. A nice picnic here or at the park will be enough.Â
You noticed a large, white tent approaching your view when the car started to slow down. To your surprise, Momo and Mina were there, waving at you excitedly, with bright grins adorning their faces.Â
"I forgot to mention," your manager started, stopping the car. "A few of your friends will be joining you in this."
You nodded, getting out of the car, wishing you could have changed into something decent other than your sweatpants and Katsuki's shirt.Â
The girls were immediately shoving you eagerly towards the tent, noticing that they are already dressed and ready for the shoot.Â
"I'm so excited for this shoot!" Exclaimed Mina excitedly, bouncing up and down carefully as to not ruin her hair. Incoherable noises left her lips as she continued guiding you.Â
The dark-haired girl beside you, although much more calm and collected, couldn't stop the giggles, holding your hand firmly as they opened the flap of the tent.Â
A surprised smile painted on your lips when the rest of the girls in your class greeted you. Â
"(Y/N!)" Â Ocahako ran to you, giving you a giant bear hug.Â
"We finally get to be together on a shoot, kero!" Tsuyu added with an excited clap.
"Hurry and get ready!" Hagakure pushed you towards the chair. You would have tripped on the way there had it not been for Jiro holding you by the shoulder.Â
You let it slide with a happy chuckle. It was almost impossible to get all of the girls together for anything. If they try to plan anything together, one of them will always be busy or on patrol that day.Â
It was nice being together once again, as in the good old days. Everyone was already ready and dressed in their complementary colours, you noticed. They chatted with you as you get your make up ready, some going out and coming back in for picture taking outside.Â
Again, you can't help but feel sad that Katsuki is not with you. These would have been perfect if he was beside you. No matter, you told yourself, I'll be with him after this.Â
"Whoa, (Y/N)," the girls cooed at you simultaneously when you got done. Looking you through the mirror with soft smiles and - were those tears welling up in some of them? To say you are confused will be an understatement. This is not the first time they've seen you glammed up.
"Are you all okay? What's the matter?"Â
They only smiled at you, dabbing the corners of their eyes to prevent tears from further falling.Â
"Whooo, enough of this," Mia sighed, fanning her eyes whilst looking up. "Get dressed honey, your dress is already there."Â
When you entered the dressing room, a beautiful white knee-length cocktail dress greeted you placed on the mannequin. It was off the shoulder with sheer sleeves designed in flowers and a flowy skirt. When you touched the material, you are shocked that it was silk.Â
Now, you are beyond confused and highly impressed. Then you wondered, what kind of commercial are you making? The company must be loaded to get all the well-known woman Pro Heroes together for this one shoot.Â
Your brows furrowed in thought but ended up letting it go. Slipping on your dress which hugged your figure perfectly, doing a little twirl to watch the dress flow. You are feeling yourself in this dress.Â
Once you exited the dressing room, you were surprised when you recognised one of your classmates in dance class there, wearing a bright costume along with the other dancers. They grabbed your hands and guided you to the centre; the music suddenly blasted from somewhere and danced around you.Â
You were beyond confused as you looked around. None of the girls except Momo was in the corner of the room, laughing and taking a video of you. You are so confused.Â
What is going on?
They prompted you to dance along with them, and you did, albeit softly; the dancers still cheered you on.
You laughed as they twirled you around towards Momo. "Come on," she pulled you out of the tent, dancers continued cheering you on from the inside.Â
You walked out towards the open field. The trees decorated in pastel shades of your favourite colours, the ground littered with the petals of your favourite flowers, your heart started to beat faster and faster with every step you take.Â
You swore you felt your heart leap out of your chest when you spotted more of your classmates came into view. A hand covered your mouth in sheer shock, happiness, and confusion.Â
Tables and chairs surrounded the open clearing. Red linens covered the tables along with silverwares, the surrounding trees decorated in lanterns and ribbons, a buffet filled with your favourite food on the side, a fucking swan ice sculpture beside it, chocolate fountain. But the one that caught your attention the most was the gazebo: built in the middle of a tree with beautiful white leaves at the tip of it.Â
You didn't know that you are now standing alone at the entrance, still frozen in shock as you looked at everyone with wide eyes.Â
What the fuck?Â
Kirishima then approached you with his usual bright smile, although this one might be brighter than the rest. He chuckled softly at your expression before offering you his hand.
"How are you feeling?"
"Like I'm about to faint and vomit at the same time," you answered shakily with a laugh. "What the heck is happening, Kirishima?"
"Well," he shrugged his shoulders, "why don't you ask the planner of this event?"Â
The pounding of your heart reached your ears, your face glowing bright red, as he led you towards the gazebo tree; only then did you see a single stool in the middle.Â
"Wait, the fuck?" You questioned a bit loudly. The rest of the crowd only laughed at your nervousness.Â
When you sat down, the table to your right; seated two crucial people in your life; your parents. They are smiling at you, tears running down your mother's eyes with your father's arm draped over her shoulder, both of them wearing white clothing like yours.Â
You mouthed a 'what are you doing here?' with a teary smile. Your father responded with a shrug of his shoulders. Your eyebrows flew when you saw the couple beside them: Mitsuki and Masaru Bakugou, both reacting the same as your parents.Â
The sound of a microphone caught everyone's attention. Aizawa came into your peripheral vision on the left, wearing his usual black colours. He is nicely clean today; his hair tied away from his face; it looks like he shaved as well. The most surprising of all was the small smile he wore.Â
What is going on?
Your mind raced at the possibility, a hand resting on your chest as if it can calm your racing heart. It was all too much to take in.Â
"It's been a while since we're all together," Aizawa started, gaining everyone's attention, soft background music playing in the background.Â
"I'm not surprised by the length's this man is willing to go; he does want to be the best at everything- which explains everything." Everyone agreed silently. "He will never do anything half-assed."
He then walked up to you with a gentle smile, "now (Y/N), do you know what is happening?"Â
"No, I don't even know what's happening anymore," you answered shakily. "This is like a joke: Is this a joke?" you joked, albeit shakily.Â
Aizawa only smiled when you continued, "I'm just waiting for the director to shout 'Cut!' I don't know what to do, am I going dance? Will I start acting? There are camera's here, but they're not giving me instructions."
"You have no idea what's going on?"
"No! I'm already getting scared," you chuckled, voice already starting to reveal that you are about to cry soon. You chose to laugh it off.Â
"In all honesty, I know that you know and everybody knows and agrees; that you are the most beautiful woman today." You responded with a silent thank you, deeply flattered.Â
"You know (Y/N), all of this happened because of one person only. Just one person," you swallowed your heart back down, tears starting to escape your eyes as your heart and mind screams of that person's name.Â
"So don't be surprised; because this is how much he loves you."
Tingles ran down your arms once the background music stopped and Aizawa stepped down. You held your clasped hands in front of you and placed them on your lips, tensing up a little, waiting in anticipation.Â
"Sir, I'm a bit nervous about being here today."Â
The world stopped turning when you heard that line. The tears escaped along with a happy sob. The figure of Katsuki Bakugou emerged from behind the tree at the entrance, holding a microphone to his lips. The other hand, resting deep in his pockets.Â
"Still not real sure what I'm going to say," he walks up to you. Not once tearing his eyes away from yours when he met them. The smile on him was nothing like anyone has ever seen before; nervous, happy, content, love.Â
"So bear with me, please, if I take up too much of your time."Â
He was nothing short of perfect. No words could ever describe how beautiful he is right now; of course, he's always beautiful, but now, he is taking your breath away.Â
It was already rare when you see him not wearing his baggy clothing; it's considered a blessing to see him wear a formal white tux that suits him too well.Â
When he neared you, he took out a red velvet box in his pocket: gripping on it tightly as he angled it towards you.Â
"See in this box is the ring for your oldest. She's my everything and all that I know is. It would be such relief if I knew that we were on the same side."
Everyone watched in anticipation as the blond finally reached in front of you, kneeling on one knee as he continued to serenade you.Â
"Can marry your daughter, and make her my wife. I want her to be the only girl that I'll love for the rest of my life. And give her the best of me 'till the day that I die, yeah."Â
At this point, you don't care if you look like a mess. The love of your life is looking up at you like you are the most beautiful person he has ever seen; it's probably true.Â
"I'm gonna marry your princess, and make her my queen. She'll be the most beautiful bride that I've ever seen. I can't wait to smile; as she walks down the aisle; on the arm of her father. Till the day that I marry your daughter."
You told him about your dream proposal; it doesn't have to be anything special as long as the song is there along with your family. And you know Katsuki, you give him an inch, he'll take it to the moon.
Katsuki stared at you with a soft smile, reaching his arms to wipe the tears off of your face. Laughing at his actions, you held on to one of his hands, placing it down on your lap. Both of you took in deep, calming breaths to ease your nerves before smiling at each other again.Â
"Hi (Y/N)," he called with a soft, shaky tone. A short laugh left you at his adorable nervousness. "Hi, Katsuki."
"You already know what the fuck is going on," the crowd laughed at his bluntness. "I'm not gonna beat around the bushes any longer. I want to make this official."Â
He opened the velvet box; a gasp left you as you saw the ring inside. A beautiful red ruby gem immediately caught your eyes as it shines in the sun.Â
A large smile adorned your lips as Katsuki looked at you with a tender expression. Everyone wiping away their tears at the moment before them.Â
"I'll save all the sappy words at the wedding vows, now, (Y/N)," when his eyes met yours again, you are sure.Â
"Will you do the honour of making me the happiest man alive by being my wife? Will you marry me?"
Despite the tears falling like a waterfall, your answer was clear and sealed. No matter how many different worlds there might be, how many different lifetimes are there in this universe, nor all the possible scenarios this proposal can take in, you will never get tired of saying the answer over and over again.Â
"Yes."Â
One way or another, Katsuki Bakugou and (Y/N) (L/N) will always find a way to be together. Herein is arms and the ring on your finger; all is well and where it should be.Â
Even though you can't give him his present now, I'm sure the box is still safe and sound on the table.Â
After all, you are the one carrying the most important gift.Â
The two strips of pink line on the stick only confirms it.Â
A/N: This is the longest and hardest story I have ever written for a one shot so far. Wedding?

Heyy!
I saw u had tensei on ur masterlist, could you write some fluff for him?
It's fine if not!
Ah, my second favorite Iida boy. He needs more love.Â
[ Working for your longtime friend and love interest had its perks, and despite facing the challenges of being the only support agent at Idaten. Things get a little strange when Tensei requests you remove the airbags from his hero suit and while you refuse to go through with it. Tensei continues to try and persuade you, in his own strange way. ]
Your steps were rushed, echoing against the pavement as you ran past the sidekicks of Team Idaten. The street lights illuminating the area as well as the stars above that seemed to sparkle in conjunction with the moon. If you werenât so panicked at the moment, you might have stopped to enjoy the view.
But knowing that Ingenium was possibly injured had you rushing to his rescue even if you were just a support agent who mainly crafted weapons and repaired everyone's hero suits. But Ingenium or Tensei as you knew him, was one of the most important people to you. There was a history that most already knew between yourself and the tubro hero, being that you went to U.A. together.
He was in the hero course, no surprise there while you were placed in the Department of Support. Being rather intuitive and creative, you would always make inventions that others found strange or too dangerous. Often belittling you to stick to basic support items rather than put your own style to them.
It was a little discouraging until a certain boy walked into the Development Studio and requested your help on his hero suit. That boy turned out to be Tensei who since then always encouraged your talent, despite being subjected to many of your malfunctioning inventions.
He was always your source of encouragement and you two were quick to become friends, that is until third year approached and you were nearing graduation. Tensei was full of inspiring ideas himself, one of which was creating an agency completely run by sidekicks who would work alongside each other and form teams depending on their specialty.
Most thought his idea was ridiculous. After all, who would want to be put in charge of a bunch of sidekicks when you could be the boss and rule over your own agency however you wanted? You didn't appreciate when people made fun of Tensei, considering you thought it was an amazing idea.
But, it also brought you a sense of sadness. You dreaded being separated from the soon-to-be pro hero. You knew you should have given Tensei more credit than that, considering he wasnât someone that could easily let other's go, and to your surprise after graduation. He offered you a position at his future agency.
Stating that your talent would be useful in helping create weapons and suits for the future sidekicks that he would employ. True to his word, he slowly built the Idaten Agency from the ground up. Granted, he had plenty of help from his family.
But even so, you didnât leave his side. In fact, you helped recruit some of the sidekicks that still proudly stood by Ingeniumâs side. However, at times you wondered if Tensei realized just how much he meant to the Idaten Agency, how much he meant to you.
Your feelings for him seemed so obvious, but you often tried to make excuses for why Tensei didnât catch onto them. The most common of which was the fact that he was solely focused on his hero work and always trying to bring his best forward.
Still, you were surprised that he didnât hear how loud your heart was when you were alone with him or how flushed your cheeks got when he leaned in too close. You werenât sure when these feelings for Tensei began, at first you were in denial. Believing what you felt was just a misplaced feeling of gratitude, but as the months went by and your feelings grew.
Maybe it was safer to say somewhere along the lines you had fallen in love with the turbo hero and love, as they say, made you do stupid things. âTensei!â you cried as you finally spotted him and dropped to your knees, worry clear across your face as you took in how he looked.
A faint amount of blood dripped from the side of his head and his hair looked disheveled. The airbags that he requested you to install into the shoulder components of his hero suit had gone off, deflated among the rubble that he had caused when he ran into a brick wall.
You could make out a few cracks and loose panels in his suit. The eyepiece of his helmet was broken, laying on the ground by his side. You slowly reached up to brush your fingers along the sides of his face before moving his head so he was looking at you.
âHey Y/n!â he chirped, his happy and uplifting mood unphased by the small accident he had gotten himself into. You let out a sigh of relief and dropped your hands from his face. âTenseiâŠâ you said before letting your head drop and tried to take a deep breath to calm your racing heart.
You heard him move his arm, the metal pieces of his suit clinking together which made you raise your head once more. Then a gasp escaped as you felt the soft fabric of his gloved hand against your cheek which started to grow warm as you looked him in the eye.
You noticed there was dirt on his cheeks and part of the exposed skin of his neck. Apart from the blood dripping down the side of his head, he seemed otherwise unharmed. âSorry about that, I guess I worried you. Huh?â you narrowed your eyes and glanced to the side, muttering a âYou could say that,â in response which caused the hero to frown.
His thumb gently brushed against the side of your cheek which caused you to turn your attention back to him. Looking into those dark-colored eyes seemed to put you at ease, âPlease donât scare me like that again,â you said before reaching up to take his hand, pulling it away from your face before you leaned close to embrace him.
He looked surprised by the hug, his mouth falling open a moment before it softened and a smile came. This was followed by his arms wrapping around you, and a sigh of relief seemed to escape the two of you before you pulled away and leaned your hand against his shoulder.
âLet me help you up,â you insisted as you slid your arm behind his back, allowing him to place his across your shoulders. Buckling your legs, you pushed the two of you up. It was a little difficult because of the deflated airbags but as soon as you made it back to the Idaten Agency.
Tenseiâs minor injuries were patched up and you promptly requested his presence after. Tensei had taken the opportunity to transform one of the floors of the Idaten Agency into a workshop for you, similar to the Development Studio. Everything you needed you had at your fingertips, including an examination table which Tensei was currently sitting on.
âYou know, Iâve been thinkingâŠâ he began as you continued to look over the chest piece of his suit from your worktable. Your feet propped up against the wooden poles that made up the bottom of the stool you sat on and your fingers brushed over the small dents that you found in the hunk of metal.
The rest of the pieces that made up his hero suit were sitting in boxes, waiting to be repaired piece by piece. âHm?â you glanced up, pausing in your movements. So many things were going through your mind, but more than anything you were worried about Tenseiâs well-being.
Despite the fact that the only real injuries he had were the small cut on his forehead and his scraped-up cheek. You were worried that something worse might happen to him next time and you were rattling your brain to try and come up with a solution that would allow Tensei to take turns even at his top speed. It was tricky, near impossible actually.
But the man in question was very effective in shattering your thoughts when his voice broke through, âI want to remove my airbags completely,â you were thankful you were sitting, else your legs might have gotten too weak and to the floor, youâd go.
You looked at him with your eyebrow raised and your mouth slightly parted. Processing his words for a moment before you responded, âWhat?â you questioned as you leaned over the table, âI said-â you interrupted him. âNo, I...I heard what you said Tensei,â you replied in clear disbelief and minor shock. How can he want to make that decision after what just happened?
âI...you canât remove your airbags! If you take another hit like that without them, it'll be too danger-â your words came to a halt when Tensei got up from where he was sitting and walked over to you. Placing his hands on the table, he wore a smile as he invaded your space by leaning forward.
Hovering over the chest piece you were currently fiddling with. It made you a little nervous if you were being honest with yourself and you couldnât help but stare into his eyes. Tensei had always been, in your opinion, handsome. Short messy hair that accompanied those unique shaped eyebrows of his, dark-colored eyes, and sharp square jaw.
All topped off with a smile that could light up a room, he was the ideal boyfriend-type, and while he was adored as a Pro Hero. Part of you was surprised that no one seemed to catch Tenseiâs interest. A shiver ran down your spine when you felt his hands gently skim over yours.
You glanced down, watching as Tensei then grabbed your hands that were previously preoccupied. You could feel the heat rise in your cheeks and you half prayed that Tensei wouldnât notice the fact they were turning pink.
But you knew you couldnât move away. Without trying, Tensei Iida was keeping you right where he wanted you. âI know,â he replied in his familiar cheerful tone and you watched his pupils move ever so slightly, and yours mimicked the movement.
âBut I canât hold the team back, I know I've always had a hard time taking turns even at my lowest speed,â despite your flushed cheeks, you frowned. You knew it was near impossible for Tensei to turn when using his quirk, especially with the speed he could reach.
But you refused to allow him to put himself in danger, yet you knew no matter what Tensei was going to do so willingly. âThatâs why I put trust in my teammates, they aren't just sidekicks to be used. Theyâre heroes I look up to,â he gently ran his thumb across the back of your hand.
Tenseiâs touch was so delicate, it was hard to believe some villains thought him to be intimidating. âI trust you with my hero suit and to make the right choices even if you donât think itâs good for me,â you latched onto your lip and glanced down, the soft hum of the air vents above you filling the silence.
âBut a hero doesnât always have time to think about whatâs rational, speed and timing is everything. If something slows me down, that means I lose seconds to save someone,â your eyebrows furrowed together, a suspicious glance in your eye.
âTensei...are you trying to guilt me?â you questioned and felt his hands immediately release yours so he could hold them up in a surrender-type fashion. âNot at all!â he exclaimed before giving you a smile, but you knew better than to fall for it. âItâs too dangerous,â you said before getting back to work, missing the way Tenseiâs lips curled up.
His eyebrows furrowed as if he were trying to figure out a way to convince you, âAh, hey!â you exclaimed as you fell forward onto the examination table, glaring up at Tensei who now held the chest piece you were previously leaning on. A chuckle left his lips, however, and you assumed he thought what he had just done was funny.
âSorry,â he said, âI guess I couldnât resist,â you rolled your eyes before pushing yourself up and slowly sliding off your stool. Walking over to one of the many boxes scattered across the floor, you looked around a moment before finding what you wanted.
A groan sounded as you lifted the shoulder piece of his suit out of the chosen box, the extra weight coming from the deflated airbag that still hung from it. Meanwhile, Tensei was busy staring at his reflection in the white paint of the chest piece he was holding.
âSo, you really repair all these pieces separately huh?â he questioned just as you placed the shoulder piece onto the table, quickly grabbing a screwdriver so you could remove the deflated airbag and replace it with a new one.
âYeah,â you replied as you began unscrewing the bolts around the airbag. âWouldnât it be easier to put the suit together and repair it that way?â it was almost cute how clueless he was about support equipment, still he was technically your boss and you owed him an answer.
âNo, every little detail of a hero suit is taken into account and focused on with the utmost attention. I have to ensure every single separate piece works properly before bringing it together as a whole,â you finished unscrewing the bolts and placed them to the side before carelessly tossing the spent airbag to the floor.
Tensei looked away from the chest piece, watching as said airbag hit the floor. âHmâŠâ he stood there a moment, trying to think of how else to convince you to do what he wanted. Not that he was controlling, by any means. Rather, he was focused on finding a solution that would best help his team as a whole.
He walked back over to the table and placed the chest piece down, once again catching your attention. You lifted your head, âAre you sure there isnât a way I can convince you?â he questioned, âI know it worries you, but-â you shook your head and once again slid off your stool.
âOh no,â you replied as you walked over to him and poked his chest, âHm?â he looked down at your finger before glancing back at you. âYou know better than to try and bribe me,â you narrowed your eyes and Tensei let out a sigh before glancing at the ceiling, his lips perched up once more.
âHm,â you gave a little victory smirk before turning back to the table, deciding that standing was a better option when around Tensei. You quickly examined the shoulder piece before walking over to the opposite side of the room where all your tools were on display. Hanging in an organized fashion on the wall.
Tensei watched you, he knew he was lucky to have someone like you working at his agency, and thinking back, he was surprised you had agreed to join him. Back then, it seemed like you were the only one who truly believed in him. His family had been in the hero business for generations sure, and he felt like he had become a hero more out of expectation than sheer need or want.
âAh, there it is,â you said as you grabbed the tool you were looking for before you walked to another wall which was made up of various baskets. Each one holding a piece or item you might need. Carefully, you searched for another airbag, and once you found it. You walked back to your work table, laying both items down much to Tenseiâs disappointment.
He reached up, running his hand through his hair but he was careful not to touch the gauze pad that was taped over the cut he had received. He was still determined to convince you not to reinstall the airbags of his suit. He stepped forward, âAre you sure there-â you interrupted him yet again, looking at him from over your shoulder with a small glare.
âYes,â you replied before you resumed fiddling with the new airbag, trying to snap it into place, and Tensei felt as though he were running out of time. âPlease?â he spoke sweetly as he walked behind you, looming over your shoulder as you continued to work. âNo,â you said before reaching over to grab your screwdriver.
However, Tenseiâs hand clasped around yours seconds later. You blinked and leaned to the side, âTensei...â an awkward tension began to fill the air. âI can handle the screwdriver by myself,â you tugged on it once more, trying to make Tensei catch the hint you wanted him to let go.
But his fingers remained wrapped partly around yours and the rubber handle. âHeh,â he gave a sheepish grin and you jerked your arm back, successfully making the man release his grip. You gave another victory smirk before you reached over to pick up one of the many screws you had taken out and aligned it properly before getting back to work.
The fact that Tensei remained looming over your shoulder was a little nerve-racking, not only could you hear his breathing. You could also feel it against the back of your ear. You paused a moment, glancing back as if waiting for him to move. But you should have known better, while Tensei was respectful in many ways.
He seemed to hold some type of persistence when it came to certain things and while you already stated you wouldnât do as he wanted. You had the feeling neither of you would be leaving the workshop until you came to an agreement. âIâve always admired your talent,â he began, making you pause yet again.
âUm...thank you, Tensei,â you replied before continuing to turn the handle of the screwdriver. Thatâs when you heard a soft slap against the table and turned your head yet again. Tensei was now leaning over the table, his arm outstretched and fingers just barely touching the chest plate that was still preoccupying space.
He had another smile on his face and oddly enough, you couldnât help but return it. âHow long does it take to install a new airbag?â he questioned, and for a moment you wondered if he was purposely trying to distract you. You took a deep breath and placed the screwdriver down before bringing your hand to your hip.
You then turned to face Tensei, shooting him a soft glare which he seemed to notice and glanced away with a pout. âI was just wondering,â he said as he reached up to ruffle the back of his hair, âIâd hate to be taking up your time,â you chuckled at his words.
âYouâre taking up my time by distracting me,â you replied before crossing your arms over your chest. âIâm not removing your-â Tensei interrupted you. âNothing will stop me from being a hero,â he stated and you lowered your arms a bit, âincluding airbags,â you wondered if he was trying to start an argument with you, then again Tensei wasnât much of the argumentative type.
You took a deep breath, letting out a sigh. Then you lowered your head, âI know,â you muttered before you turned back to the worktable. Taking a moment to stare at the shoulder piece and the airbag that currently only had half a screw to keep it in place. You lowered your eyebrows, it was clear that you were worried more about Tenseiâs well-being than he was himself.
But once again you were reminded thatâs how Tensei was, always focused on doing good for others. Always willing to throw himself into danger if it meant he could save someone, but you couldnât help but feel like this time was different. You were being directly involved, being asked to remove something you had installed into his hero suit for his own protection.
Your thoughts were broken when you felt two arms wrap around you, âAh!â you gasped, not having expected the contact or the way you were pulled back against Tenseiâs chest. Then came the pressure of his head against yours and the heat immediately rose in your cheeks, coloring them a soft pink.
You flexed your arms slightly, almost as if you were trying to break his hold on you. âT-Tensei what areâŠâ your words trailed off when you felt him nuzzle against you causing a soft noise to pass your lips. âI know you're worried,â he began yet again and though your face was currently on fire, you raised your eyebrow.
But unlike before, you didnât interrupt him. âBut I would never do anything that risks losing you,â your eyebrows shot up and your eyes widened, âand I canât risk losing anyone else, a hero proudly makes sacrifices,â he said before he leaned back up and reached over to take delicate hold of your chin.
Once again a soft noise escaped you as Tensei gently tilted your head to the side and leaned over. You could hear your heart echo in your ears as you stared into his eyes. Somehow Tensei always made it so you felt like the only person in the room, even if at the moment you technically were the only other person in the room.
He then brought that hand up to cup your cheek, still keeping one arm wrapped around you. All hope of Tensei not noticing your scolding hot cheeks was effectively thrown out the window at that moment. âWill you be my hero? You kind of always were,â his thumb grazed across your cheek and you took a deep breath.
âI...Iâm your...hero?â you repeated, clear disbelief in your voice, and Tensei nodded in response. Your eyelids lowered before you glanced at the airbag you were currently trying to install, you felt his hand lower. Once more both of his arms were around your waist. You struggled for a moment, internally debating about what you truly wanted to do.
Tenseiâs safety was your number one priority, but his friends and loved ones, and all those civilians that counted on him to be at his best came first to him. You hung your head in defeat, missing the small smirk that came to Tenseiâs face as he knew he finally convinced you.
When you opened your mouth to speak, your words were suddenly rendered to nothing but a pathetic squeak. The reason behind the obnoxious noise was Tenseiâs warm lips against the top of your head. He allowed them to linger there, buried against your hair before he finally pulled back.
You swallowed, not having realized how dry your mouth had gotten. But, you slowly turned and Tensei, in turn, momentarily dropped his arms from around you. However, his hands came to rest on your hips when you were finally facing each other.
You didnât mind his touch and reached down, placing your hands on his forearms. A smile was exchanged between the two of you before Tensei leaned close once more. âEep,â another noise escaped you and Tensei chuckled, though he kept any comments to himself.
Except for one, âThank you,â he said as he rested his forehead against yours. âHeh,â you responded, trying to suppress the nervous chuckle that threatened to pass your lips. âYouâre welcome, Ingenium.â

Shigaraki with an Enforcer S/O
Shigaraki didn't know you were at the meeting until you appeared behind him
Shigaraki needed more men after the failure at the U.S.J. It did bring the League into light, but without the criminals in his arsenal as most were taken into custody or deemed useless, he knew he had to start searching for a new crew. This led him to Corellia, an area full of thieves, black market traders, and mercenaries for hire. You were the enforcer of the biggest mafia in the area, and you made sure he knew that.
Crossing the alleged âsafe zoneâ of Corellia and heading into the Black Light District, Shigaraki motions to the nomuâs on each side of him to take the lead. Kurogiri and another sleeker nomu would take spot behind him. While he was capable of protecting himself, he was taking no chances. He was his greatest pawn in this game, to lose himself and be captured would be detrimental to his whole system.
Moving further into the district, he notes the amounts of bordered up shops and graffiti covered walls, but this all changes when he reaches the center of the district. From there the shops are all open and bustling with customers, the scenery was not the same bleak grey and black concrete walls. It was lively and without the normal trash that coagulated on the streets. What made this area different than that of the one fifteen feet away?
With little else to do than gawk at the juxtaposition, Shigaraki heads down the alleyways of Corellia and enters the underbelly where the black market resided. It was at a shop that he found the leader of the Black Teeth, a gang notorious for drug manufacturing. They dealt with quirk enhancement and blockages, something Shigaraki took interest in after the nomu came to being. His best nomu was beaten by All Might, which meant he would need more than what his scientists were capable of in order to strengthen them.
The boss of the crew was lounging in his chair, the third eye on his forehead closed while his striking white eyes were staring directly at the nomu accompanying Shigaraki.
The man grins. âTheir construction is magnificent. Who did you get your hands on to make these?â He sits up, elbows resting on his knees as he scans them up and down.
Shigaraki scoffs. âThat is need to know information, and you do not need to know it.â
âAye, it was a simple question.â The man leans back, his joking demeanor melting into something more serious. âSo, Shigaraki Tomura. What can I do for you?â
Shigaraki takes a seat across from the man, knowing he was safe with his posse of nomu. âI need your numbers. You have men to spare. I require them.â
The man hissed through his teeth, an amused glint in his eyes. âYou want my men. Mi amigo, are you sure you know what you're asking for?â
While Shigaraki didn't know what was said, he knew for certain what he wanted. What he needed. He wouldn't let the U.S.J. failure happen again. âI am more than certain.â
âMuy bien. I'll give you one of my crew. You'll find they're all you need. Incredibly loyal that one.â
âOnly one?â Shigaraki grits his teeth. âIs that a joke?â
A hand lands itself on Shigarakiâs shoulder, causing him to jump slightly in his seat, already reaching to turn them into dust.
A barrier keeps him from touching you, the air seemingly hardening and turning golden at the force of his touch.
You give him a small smirk. âHey jefe.â
You were either very smart, or incredibly dumb
You didn't bargain for power, or for riches, two things the League could most definitely provide. He found this strange, as everyone wanted something. No one ever gave anything for free. And with your skills, you could ask for anything in return, so why didn't you?
After finalizing a contract with your boss about new arrangements, you leave Corellia with the small group of League affiliates. Still, Shigaraki couldn't understand you, and it was bugging him to no end.
He slowed his pace until he was beside you, his hands clenched into fists as he remembers how you blocked him from using his quirk. âWhy are you joining us?â
You examine the face of your new employer, or more of examine the hand covering his face. Your own face was scarred after battles and fights with the police and other gangs. Your body was covered in burns, stab wounds, and gunshots. You've been through the wringer yet still worked in the mafia with gusto. What fueled you? What led you to wanting to aid the league?
âHeroes and villains are white and black. I prefer grey.â You crack your fingers, watching the bones as they pop and settle back into place, relishing in the relief. âYour fighting will bring to light how corrupt some heroes are. It will usher in a better era. If the people work hard enough to make it.â
âYou sound like a damn hero.â
âIt's all about perspective mi amigo.â
You managed to enter his own little mafia after that display of your skills
There was no denying you had talent, he needed your abilities. You would make for a great asset to his newly forming team.
Two weeks into joining the league, youâve already proven your worth. With your barrier quirk that could accumulate damage and send it right back at the attacker, you were a perfect tank in his array of assets.
In a meeting gone astray, you defended your new boss and led him to a safe zone away from the villains that wanted to usurp him as the new leader of the League.
At least, you believed it was a safe spot.
âShigaraki!â You scream at him, spotting a hero ready to pummel him into the ground with their hammer quirk. Rushing to his side, you push him out of the way and put up a hasty shield, grunting as the force drives you into the ground. Breaking the shield, you watch as the hero is thrown back twice as hard, their back hitting a steel pillar above them.
âGet them out of here!â Your new boss yells at Kurogiri as he decays one of the heroâs sidekicks, not batting an eye at the ash covering him from head to toe. He proceeds further into the warehouse in search of the villain that ratted them out to the Hero Agency, but you refused to let him go in alone.
Kurogiriâs smoke appears below you, but using your barrier as a foothold, you launch yourself in the air and run after Shigaraki. âPendejo!â You shout out, hoping to catch the attention of the blue haired male. âUse your head!â
The lights cut out, and all you could do is focus on the senses you still had.
Maybe it wasn't your smartest idea, but you raise your voice again.
âShigaraki!â
You run to what you assume is the center of the room but slip on what feels like piles of sand.
The lights turn on, and in the corner of the room you find Shigaraki with a gash just under his chin, nearly catching him on his jugular.
He huffs, the hand that was normally  covering his face no longer there, allowing you to see his annoyed yet soft expression. âI can handle myself too.â
An odd beat flutters in your chest.
âI know that idiota.â
You begin to grow on him /like a tumor/
He doesn't admit it, but after that incident, he begins to trust you more than he had before. You proved your loyalty, something he was inclined to ignore before. And you weren't afraid of his presence. The others in the league liked to have their own time away, they had separate goals and found the league as a place to enact them, but you didn't have that. So the fact that you stayed with him at the bar to just be there was quite nice.
You helped him with info gathering, and gathering in general
As his new enforcer with a knack of collecting data without being seen, you became extremely useful to him. And useful to the others as well.
âOooh did you get the photos I asked for!â Toga chirps from her seat at the bar, spinning in a half circle as she watches you lift a heavy satchel and place it on the counter. The girl always had weird requests, but you caved in. She didn't ask for much anyway, not compared to what your old boss ordered you to do.
âEsperate chica, I have them.â You respond while pulling out a handful of polaroids. They were of several students of U.A., mostly of Izuku Midoriya, who you had yet to uncover why she was so obsessed with him. You pull your hand away just as she snatches them from your grip, remembering how she accidentally scratched you the last time you brought her photographs.
For Dabi you brought him information on Endeavor and his son, as you would see them occasionally on patrol. There wasn't much to tell, as the young boy didn't seem to like his father whatsoever. He rarely spoke, making him a poor source of info. But Dabi was sated either way.
âAnd what about for me?â Shigaraki hums from behind the counter, looking at you with carmine eyes. âYou are my spider first and foremost. Don't forget it.â
With a grin from ear to ear, âI was thinking of you jefe.â You reach further into your satchel and pluck a collectable All Might action figure. âI thought you might like it.â
Needless to say, he decayed it right before storming off to his room.
But later that evening he opened his door to find a video game he had planned on buying.
With a small huff, he accepts the gift and returns to his nest.
You were his right hand alongside Kurogiri
Despite your rough beginning, you grew fond of your new boss. It was like having a friend, even if he could be somewhat of a man child, you learned how to deal with his moods. Which made Kurogiriâs life so much easier.
Shigaraki slams his hands on a table, turning it to dust. In fact, he was tossing everything out of his way, sending dust raining around the room. You stand at the door watching the sprays of ash like fireworks on New Year. It was always best to wait for his rage to ease before approaching him. This, you learned from Kurogiri.
But this time you needed him to calm down. You needed him to be a leader, not a temperamental child.
âShigaraki.â You stand behind him, arms at your sides.
âHow is it that he still gets all of the attention?! How, even after he retires, do we keep failing! One after another, our plans are turning into dust!â He slams a hand on another table, sending it crumbling to the ground.
âShigaraki.â You repeat in a stern tone.
âWhat?!â His attention snaps to you, eyes crazed and bloodshot with rage.
âTo win a battle is not to win a war.â You state calmly, keeping eye contact with the enraged leader. âLook at the bigger picture, and you will get the advantage you need.â
Something flickers in his eyes, giving you the shot of confidence you need in order to place a hand on his shoulder. He flinches at the contact but doesn't move from you.
âI believe in you cariño.â
He was incredibly antsy when Chisaki wanted you to join the yakuza, so you stepped up and said yes for him
Without knowing it, you had begun caring for the members of the League, something you weren't prepared for when you joined. At first it was just a side gig, a favor to your leader to work with the League. But now it wasn't just for your old boss or for the late Magne, it was for Shigaraki. You were doing this for him. Why? You didn't know. But you were caving for him.
âIâll go.â You say from your spot beside him at the arm of  the sofa. You were used to meetings like this. The yakuza wasn't much different from the mafia, they were like twins. That's how you knew it was better to give in than to argue anymore on the terms. Anymore nitpicking and the meeting would turn into a bloodbath mixed with ash.
Shigaraki doesn't look at you, and for that you were glad. To show weakness in front of these people would only give them a bigger advantage. Did Shigaraki like you? You didn't know. But neither did the Yakuza.
âYour underling has more sense than you do.â Chisaki croons from his spot across from Shigaraki. âThey know when it's better to just back down. I like that.â
Shigaraki clenches his fist.
Chisaki looks you over, nodding once to himself before waving dismissively. âYou'll need a mask if you are going to be here. I don't need you contaminating the air with your germs.â
You feel your eye twitch, but you give no more than a nod as you walk out of the room, bidding Shigaraki goodbye with a single look.
The next time you see him is the day you realize just how much you missed him
Bloody and sore from fighting with the yakuza underbosses in order to get out, you were happy to regroup with Toga and Twice. You were split up from them during your stint as a yakuza, you assumed it was because you were seen as a tier higher than them. Chisaki was smart enough not to let you plan with them behind his back, but he wasn't smart enough to realize the plans were already made even before the fated meeting.Â
âShiggy!â Toga squeals from the back of the van as you all cruise on the empty highway with Chisaki strapped to the gurney. âI missed you guys so much! It was kinda fun being a yakuza! But they were so rude to us, weren't they Twice?â
âYeah! They were dicks- The nicest people ever goddamnit! EW!â
You laugh at the two behind you, listening to them talk with Dabi, Spinner, and Mr. Compress about their little âvacationâ.
âYou're bleeding.â
Shigarakiâs voice drags you out of your thoughts.Â
âHm?â
âYou're bleeding.â He repeats in the same monotone voice.
Looking at your injuries you shrug and lay back deeper into the seat cushions. âIâm home, that's all that matters.â
Your leader huffs.
âI missed you cariño.â
â...â
You smile.
âWelcome back.âÂ

This is Version 1! V.2 will be posted soon!
Prompt from @were-writes !
The hero clutched their sidekick to them. They had been taken three days ago; no ransom note had been delivered. The chances of getting a normal kid back were next to none. The chances of getting their sidekick back should have been none. Yet here they were, seemingly unharmed.
âAre you okay? Did Tyson hurt you?â
âNo. He didnât hurt me.â The sidekick shrugged out of the heroâs arms. âIâm not going to work with you anymore.â
Seth was taken back. His arms remained awkwardly at his sides. "Did you just say-"
"Yeah, I did."
There was no betrayal in Hannah's words. Well, it was wholly betrayal, but there was no falsity in her voice. No blinking eyes or twitching fingers to tell Seth she was lying. Hannah was calm and true.
"If- if it's too much, I can assign you some of the less dangerous jobs. You're good with technology so-"
"No." Hannah turned her back to Seth, tucking her hair behind her ear on instinct, but quickly spun back around. She shook her head, moving a hand to her hair and flipping it. "I'm done. And you're not going to change my mind."
Seth took a step forward, causing the sidekick to swallow. "Hannah, was that-"
"Stay back!" Now her hand shook as she held it out. To anyone nearby, it would have looked like Hannah was terrified of Seth. To Seth, too, it seemed like she was, but he could have sworn- "Seth Bowers, you are not safe to be around. Even behind a screen, I will always be in danger, and you know that."
The hero shook his head. He didn't understand. Hannah had always persisted that she helped. Seth didn't force her into it. In fact, he always tried to persuade her to leave the team. Instead, she practically introduced herself to the public. She wanted to be a hero. What was this about? He took a step towards Hannah, despite her hand being held up. He trusted she wouldn't hurt him.
"Please, Seth-" She drew her hand back slightly, just to push out again. A warning. Still, Seth didn't believe it. It wouldn't have mattered much anyways. She was a regular kid, and he was a kid with superpowers. He was naturally stronger- not because he was a guy, but because of having those abilities.
"Don't. Don't get closer."
Did she just flinch? He stopped, just in case it truly was him that she was afraid of. "Hannah, what happened while you were gone? You said Tyson didn't hurt you, but...did he threaten you?"
She swallowed.
Yes. Yes, he threatened her.
"What did he tell you he'd do?"
She didn't react, only stared off somewhere into space. Seth stepped closer, snapping her out of her faded attention. "No, stop. Don't get near me."
"Hannah," he said softly, "whatever he told you, you're here with me, okay? Nothing bad is going to happen while you're with me."
She ignored his affirmations, instead focusing on just the first half. "I never said he threatened me. I never said anything about him. I never said anything- This is about you, Seth. This is about you putting me in danger. And- and about you not caring and- and I have to leave. I need to leave now."
Seth lunged, knocking Hannah's outstretched arm aside, and then grasping her wrists as she was caught off guard. Bringing her wrists together in one hand, he reached towards his sidekick- his girlfriend's- cheek, the one closest to the side of her head where she flipped her hair before. His fingers skimmed her ear, and there he found it.
"Don't!" She turned her head away. "Seth, don't. Seth, get away. Get away from me!"
"You have an earpiece. He's listening." Seth didn't mean to say it out loud, but it wouldn't have mattered anyways. Tyson, if he really was listening- why wouldn't he be if Hannah obviously had a piece in- would have already figured out that the hero was catching on.
A sob rocked Hannah's chest. She didn't bother trying to yank her wrists free anymore. She fell into Seth's chest, and he let go, hugging her close. "You're staying with me, okay? You're staying with me so that I can keep you safe. I'm not afraid of him." He pushed her away slightly, sliding his hand beneath the curtain of Hannah's hair again.
"No, Seth-" but he kept going, pulled the earpiece out before sliding it into his own ear. "Seth, he'll kill you," she whispered, rushed.
"Tyson?"
CsssShhhh.
"Tyson!"
Shhhhhhhhhhhh.
"I know you're there. Answer me."
Kch-fwoop. "She did a poor job breaking up with you, didn't she?"
Seth bit his tongue. "What do you want? Why'd you take her, and why did you send her back?"
"Are you saying you don't want her back? Maybe I was right to make her break up with you- or try at least." Seth could hear the smile playing with Tyson's voice. Tyson found this to be amusing. "I'd be happy to take her again. Sweet girl. Very flirtatious. Did you know she buttoned my shirt for me?" A pause. He was waiting for a reaction, but he wouldn't get one. "I had to threaten her life first, which she unfortunately didn't care about, and then I threatened yours. Turns out the precious superhero of the city is her weakness."
"Get on with it. I don't care for your stories."
Hannah waited, biting her nails. She wanted to take the piece back and tell Tyson that she would return. She would return if he promised to leave Seth alone. But she was with Seth now, and she knew he would never let her voluntarily walk to their enemy.
"Don't rush me, or I might take her again. You might not like to listen, but I like to tell." A breath. "I threatened you and suddenly-" Tyson laughed- "she was willing to do absolutely anything. Now, she already told you I didn't hurt her, and she wasn't lying, but...well, let's just say she isn't exactly seen as a hero's sidekick on my side of town anymore."
Seth turned to his girlfriend. She couldn't hear what was being said so it's not like her face would tell Seth anything. It did change, however, as he asked Tyson, "What did you make her do?"
Hannah's sucked in a breath and snapped her attention to the ground. She couldn't meet Seth's eyes.
Not wanting to make her feel ashamed for whatever he was about to learn, he looked away.
"Our sweet Hannah grew an appreciation for art. She practiced with the colour red, mostly." A satisfied sigh and a buzzing in the background. It caused a high ringing to start in Seth's ears. He pulled the earpiece away with a disgruntled sound and plugged his ears, hoping for the shrieking to stop. Seth couldn't even think about what Tyson said about Hannah.
When the ringing faded, he put the earpiece back in. "Is that the end of your story? Are you going to leave us alo-"
"Let me say goodbye to him. Tyson, please."
Seth spun on a heel. Hannah was gone. She wasn't there behind him. And that was her voice in his head. No. No, no, no. He took off, earpiece still in ear, towards the door that would lead downstairs. How hadn't he heard the door when she left! That door wasn't even quiet the day it was installed.
The ringing, Seth realized. She ran while he was distracted.
"No! Just let me talk to him!"
Tyson's voice answered Hannah's. "You failed. Consider this punishment. Goodbye, Seth Bowers."
As the hero ran downstairs, his hearing turned to static and the ringing commenced again. Seth's legs gave out and shortly after, he was tumbling down the stairs. Even sooner, his head bounced off of the railing, leaving him unconscious, with only Hannah on his mind beforehand.
Tyson was always going to take Hannah back, but why was she sacrificing herself for Seth? She had to know he could handle Tyson on his own. Unless she knew something that Seth didn't. She'd been to Tyson's base after all. She knew it better than anyone. Or was it something else...Tyson demonstrated his powers to her, and she knew Seth couldn't beat it. Giving herself to the villain was the only way to save the hero. It must have been, for what other explanation was there?

Ducktales Final Four!: The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker!
Hello You Happy People. SPIN IT! OHOHOHOHOHOHO LETSâ BEGIN IT!
After 10,000 years weâre finally at the motherducking Talespin episode! And only 8000 of those years were the last 14 months as Ducktales 2017 has been working toward this for a while with Cape Suzette being prominently mentioned in both the first episode and the season 1 finale, and Don Karnage being a regular part of the rouges gallery, voiced by the wonderous Jamie Camil. So this episode was less a matter of âIfâ, since Donâs presence meant Disney wasnât really against it happening, and more a matter of âWhen and How.â The how, to a point was settled at the big NYCC panel for Ducktales that revealed Daisy and Goofy... as it also revealed aged up versions of Kit and Molly, meaning a proper tailspin episode was on the way. I could not have been more pumped. While I didnât remember the cartoon well, iâd always loved Talespin since I was a kid and as an adult my curosity only grew. Still need to watch way more of it mind you, I really have slept on most of the Disney Plus Libarary and thatâs dumb of me, but what iâve seen is impressive. The story of an irresponsible bear forced to work with a buisnesswoman bear after she buys his seaplane, his loveable kid sidekick and said buisness bearâs daughter whose cute as a button but suprisingly tolerable for a little kid character. Opposing them were masterful buisnessman Shere Kahn, who sadly does not show up here and could be friend , foe or neutral depending on the episode, and Don Karnage, a kooky sky pirate who as mentioned is already in this series and was Ballooâs arch enemy. The series was colorful, creative, had a great premise and cast and in general was just awesome and out of the Disney Afternoon shows is honestly my faviorite, though Darkwing is getting close. I even recently finally got the Shere Kahn funko, which is starring into my soul as I type this review! Hurrah!Â
So I waited impatiently like I did for Daisy and Goofy, both also things Iâd wanted in the series since the start. Thing was.. Goofy showed up in the second episode of the season, that was part of the premiere, and while the wait for Daisy was agonizing, she still showed up pretty early into the season at episode five. Gosalyn showed up at episode 12. This is episode 20. Â
I do get it: This season was built to be the last just in case.. and ended up being the last so good job there. There was a LOT to wrap up in one season and on top of that they had a double and TRIPLE length episode taking up 5 episodes of the season, AND two holiday episodes. So that gave them only 18 normal episodes they had to place very carefully. So likely, given that they had some episodes important to the finale that couldnât wait for the last minute in âThe First Adventureâ and âThe Battle for Castle McDuck!â, as I highly doubt pepper was given such a build up to not be important in the finale, still think sheâs webbyâs mom, weâll see soon enough. And New Gods on the Block, while not as important was probably not swapped with this one because they wanted a lighter episode after three plot important episodes in a row, two of which are fairly intense and had lasting consequences and one of which, while a bit of a breather, was still indulging in the new FOWL status quo. This one ended up crammed into the last block.. because they likely really wanted to do this one, wanted it to tie into FOWL... and had nowhere else to put it, with Life and Crimes likely serving as one last break from FOWL, if it doesnât end up tying into it, before the finale movie. Doesnât make waiting forever for it any less grating, but hey itâs finally here. So how was it? Was it worth the hype? And how do the Wuzzles factor into this? Join me under the cut and spin it with me to find out and count down to 3!
So we open with an adult Kid Cloudkicker at work, voiced by Adam Pally!
If you havenât heard of him, and one of my Patreons had not, he was on Happy Endings and the Mindy Project, and has a very distinct voice and is very funny, so it was a pleasant surprise to have him pop up here as Kit and given aforementioned roles were messes in some way shape or form, especially Max from happy endings whose essentially Oscar the Grouch, just as gay only not living in a trash can. Though if he had to he would.Â
Since he was a kid KItâs picked up the old family business, and is now running hire for hire.. and has also picked up his Dadâs old enemies as Don Karnage chases after Kit, his second greatest nemesis, who freely mocks him. Itâs a lovely sequence but shows Kit isnât the best pilot, and his fancy flying, while beating Don, also opens both crates, freeing the livestock heâs carrying.. and the other cargo, a mysterious stone that was in a F.O.W.L. crate that merges the chicken with a goat, and scares kit, and he ends up causing his cargo to drop out of the plane. Cue titles.Â
Back with our heroes for this series, Della is recroding Dewey as he flies solo the first time!
That is so precious. Huey is along for the ride and is taking having his reckless brother with the attention span of a coked up ferret at the helm exactly how youâd expect.Â
Of course his helmet says safety boy and of course he has a helmet on over his hat. Awww. Dewey, while good at it, heâs a 12 year old flying a rather sizeable plane with no difficulty thatâs pretty impressive.. heâs also Dewey so just flying a plane normally isnât enough and he wants to Dewey it instead and do all the fancy stuff. He wants to be special as is usual for him, not realizing this is how you get to being good as his mom or Launchpad. And heâs 12 so that makes sense just on the basic level.. but it also makes sense on a comparison level: Deweyâs done a LOT of impressive stuff over the course of the series: rattling it off because why not, and this is just things he acomplished himself: he found the Lost Jewel of Atlantis (Getting it home was still a team effort but he is the one who identified it), is a golf pro better than his uncle whose played the game for centuries at this point,  defeated Don Karnage in a sword fight with little to no sword training, was crucial in beating Magica during the Shadow War, travled through time, by accident or not, consulted on a major motion picture, defeated a Gandra, even if she was going easy on him, BLIND, and biggest of all defeated the World Serpent Jormunngandr, by himself, a GOD thatâs fought Scrooge evenly for decades. AND FINISHED HIM WITH A PILEDRIVER. To reitirate this was ONLY the stuff he did himself. So I get why heâd think just flying a plane when his mom and best friend have done so much more with it is boring and that being a pilot when two people he looks up to are already one is just.. boring. Iâts not special or unique and given his family name is built on the two, I can see why heâd chafe under this.Â
Della for her part isnât doing things wrong entirely, she wants him to start with the basics, the fact he can DO those basics at such a young age with minimal training shows he has a true knack for it, and it takes experince to pull off death defying stunts. The First Adventure backs this up as while Della was so talented as a kid she could land a plane herself.. that was all she did. And itâs still incredibly impressive a ten year old landed a seaplane with no real world training or hours in a full on flight simulator. The issue thatâs never really adressed is while sheâs mostly doing it right she dosenât get that despite his talent, Dewey just dosenât find this INTRESTING or get how impressive he is, and that dressing it up a bit mighâtve helped. Itâs an understandable mistake though, teaching someone something in any context is hard. Itâs one of many, MANY reasons like currently horribly hazzarodus conditions, long hours, having to buy their own suplies at times, that teachers are badly underpayed.Â
Before we get into why their headed to Cape Suzette at long last, there is one notiacble absence in this episode I canât really ignore: Launchpad. While he has been absent in every episode since Letâs Get Dangerous, not counting âHow Santa Stole Christmas!â as the two holiday episodes were made to fit in anywhere story wise and timeline and production wise take place before the rest of Season 3 , which takes place during Spring given both the March note on Boyd and Hueyâs photos in Astro BOYD, and Forbidden Fountain taking place during spring break. At most itâs currently running into Summer. I put too much thought into this with someone iâve lost contact with.Â
My point, I had one trust me, is that Launchpad has just been gone for the second half of the season . And up till now it wasnât necesarily a bad thing: He was a major part of Letâs Get Dangerous and wasnât really needed for any of the episodes so far: The Manor side of things in ImpossiBin was purposfully intense and while he wouldâve had some thoughts on Beaklyâs actions, it just worked better with him gone and the only other adult in the house at the moment busy doing other stuff for their protection till the climax. Split Sword was kid focused, New Gods didnât really involve him at all, though I am sad he and Storkules never met as far as I can tell, The First Adventure was a flashback, Fight for CastleMcDuck was about the family unit more, and Beaks in the Shell is the only one so far I think he couldâve been included in at all and again shoving him in wouldâve just cluttered things up. Like a lot of character ballance issues of the series, thereâs a good enough reason.. this is just the one exception in the last batch I think wouldâve been improved by having him. Heâs Deweyâs best friend, heâs been there for him, he wouldâve been a good counterpoint as a teacher and it couldâve been intersting having both he and della have constrasting styles but valuable things to teach and I wouldâve loved to see him interact with Kit. It also just feels really weird to be down a pilot in the episode about the franchise about a pilot. \
The fact Dewey ends up crashing while landing after Huey applauds him on his safe normal landing, which ticks him off because he dosenât want to be normal, hammers in it in a bit as he missed his buddyâs first crash. I get leaving him out as Kit is just as irresponsible and the episodes just as much about Kit if not more so as it is about Dewey, so I understand it but it dosneât make it feel like any less of a lost opportunity.Â
As for why their in the cape at last, itâs unsuprsingly another missing mystery, the stone of what is which can combine two things, the stone seen in the intro. Kit loosing it turns out to be a good thing as it meant FOWL didnât get it, and they can find it, and are in town to find him. They pass the hire for hire offices which have a ton of notices on the door, and Dewey is entranced by the idea of cloud kicking, aka sky surfing, aka that thing kit did in the original. We also get to see updated versions of Baloo, Kit and Molly. Sadly no Rebecca. Canât win em all.Â
Our trio find Kit whose asleep, clearly having no customers and trying to pass it off like he does. It turns out he knows Della, as they went to flight school together, though she only vaugely remembers him at best. She does remember Molly though, wouldnât be suprised if thatâs another ex of hers either, and wonders what happen to her.. and not just because htereâs always room in Dellaâs harem. Kit dodges.. and itâs likely in large part because itâs clear to anyone looking despite his statments heâs kinda stalled as an adult. Itâs very clear from his surroudings, him being a pilot for hire, and him eagerly taking Dewey on as a sidekick when Dewey shows intresting in Cloud Kicking, that heâs trying to be Baloo. This idea was, according to Frank, the brainchild of the episodeâs director, and one of itâs writers and storyboarders, Tanner Johnson. Tanner pitched âWhat if Kit never outgrew his Baloo fanboying?â.Â
Itâs an intresting idea: while it is sad we donât get to see the old boy at any point and I do wonder where he is now and what heâs up to in his retirment, probably just flying about free as a bird would be my guess given how he never liked working to begin with, I applaud them for doing something unique with the Tailspin cast that fits into the themes of the season rather than just have them show up. By making it Kit instead of Baloo cargoing them, it gives us more of an arc to work with character wise as Kit has become so obessed with becoming his dad, he never stopped to consider if he was even good at it or enjoyed it.
Using Della is part of what makes this work as she too grew up with a larger than life mentor and adopted dad.. but unlike Kit, she grew up a bit and saw the flaws in her dad. His greed, his selfishness, his tendency to hog the glory, his ego.. she stopped putting him on a pedestal. She still loves him, still wants his respect and admiration to this day, but she gets heâs not perfect and not who she wants to be. Kit clearly never got this message. He never grew out of putting Baloo on a pedsteal and wanting ot literally be him instead of his own man. So he ignored the many flaws in how Baloo lived: Baloo started Talespin having lost his plane because he was so obessed with freedom and doing what he wanted, he didnât bother actually paying on it and chafed under actually doing work half the time. Heâs talented, fun to be around and a hell of pilot bar none, he honestly outclasses Della, but he was entirely irresponsible. Kitâs found himself in the same position Baloo was in: living alone, having not a lot going on, and on the verge of loosing his plane. Not only that heâs worse off because Baloo at least, while lazy, had enough talent. Kit.. isnât a good pilot as weâve seen and will see again, and clearly not only dosenât have a knack for it, but is only doing it because Baloo did. Heâs so obsessed with being who he THINKS baloo would want him to be, he never stopped to think that the actual Baloo would just want him to be happy and has probably told him this, or was probably too proud of what Kit was doing to realize what he was doing to his life.Â
But Della dosenât have time to get him a therapist, they need to find that stone before FOWL, and Kit offers to take them.. if they hire him. Della scoffs at this and insults the Sea Duck
Yeah Della your fantastic.. but you do NOT insult the Sea Duck and your very, VERY lucky itâs not Baloo you were dealing with as he wouldâve turned you down out of principal. The Sea Duck is fucking awesome, and a national treasure. Thankfully Kit instead points out the Sunchaser isnât in a better place after Dewey Dewed what he dew, so they really donât have a choice.Â
Della does draw the line at letting Kit fly as she eventually realizes heâs not good at this, mostly letting Crowby his crowbar do all the work, and finds he has a map to where he dropped the stone, so he dosenât even have that leg to stand on and throws him out of his own cockpit before he gets them all killed. Okay that time on her side. Kit takes this time to try and train Dewey on cloudkicking... but despite being encaustic at the idea of it the reality leaves Dewford scared shitless.. and doubles up on bad things as Don Karnage and his crew are closing in on the island. FOWL hired them to get it for them, though why FOWL didnât do so themselves I donât know. Donât get me wrong iâm happy to have Jamie back and it really wouldnât feel right ot have a Tailspin ep without Don Karnage, I just find it odd Bradford would hire outside contractors for this given he has a full staff and not at least send Heron or Steelbeak along to supervise. Regardless, Don puts pleasure before buisness spotting Kit.. and fully commits after finding out Dewey is ALSO involved. I also find it hilarous DEWEY outranks Kit on Don Karnageâs enemy list. So naturally he goes after him, int he personal plane he used in the series which also showed up in the cold open, and with Dewey not having the skill to take Don on, Kit is forced ot step in. He also calls him âLittle brichesâ which while another sign of how much he wants to be his own dad.. is still too awesome not to apricate. Don cuts the line but thanks to Kitâs fancy footwork, they make it out alive and wash up on an island. Della soon joins them, thanks kit for saving her kid then rightfully slaps him for putting him in danger in the first place. Dewey also has to stop her from punching him when he explains he had no idea the stone ended up on this island, which granted she is justified in but Dewey , of all people, rightly saw this means they donât have to drag a unconcious bear around who probably hasnât showered in a while. I mean the smell will be there either way but thereâs less chance of accidnetlly inhaling too much while heâs conconcious. They also find out what the Stoneâs been doing: combining the wildlife leading to rhino monkey hybrid trying to murder them. So at the last minute Frank also squeezed in another disney aftenroon show but one thaâts not streaming and most donât care about: the wuzzles, a bunch of hybrids of various animals... Frank couldnât do much with that as is and just decided to rightfully play it for horror.Â
Our heroes find Don, whose found the stone.. and is simply throwing most of hi crew at it rather than doing anything productive, with them turning into just.. utterly horrifying combinations. Hands for heads and everything, bug legs, a non-anthro parrot head. itâs pretty tough to watch and I question why the episode did this as Donâs crew did not deserve this and this episode is mostly lightearted before and after this. A tailspin tribute episode episode should not pair well with the song no spill blood.. seroiusly you paid for all I do is win, and rightfully but you couldnât get this?
youtube
Regardless the kids and manchild are told to stay put while the slightly more functional womanchild takes care of Don. Dewey and Kit naturally donât, which is fair: what did della expect, the sugared up rabbit in a small duckâs body and the incompitent but charming manchild sheâs insulted repedadtly to listen? Naturally they both beef it as Dewey canât board and while Kit does get Donâs plane, he ends up crashing it instead of doing anything productive. I mean even Launchpad wouldâve at least got back to the seaduck.. he wouldâve crashed into it but still. Look when you make Launchpad look compietnet you really need to rethink your life. Della has bigger problems though as it turns out the thing they were on.. was a coocoon.. for a butterbear. Oh no. Thankfully this goes better than youâd expect as sheâs able to ride the thing and it tangles up some rope, taking the stone of what was with it and Don takes off after it with what pirates he has left.Â
Our remaining heros return to the Sea Duck. Dewey and Kit plan to do the same thing again and expect diffrent results but Huey.. has some words for them.Â
Heâs fed up with this and points out they need to swap jobs. Dewey CAN fly, and Kit really is good at cloudkicking, itâs in the name, and he needs to return to it. While Dewey balks again stating anyone can be a pilot.. Kit finally admits thatâs not true and heâs just not good at it and Huey finally snaps them out o fthier neurosis, Kit a bit late but better late than never given the state of his life, and points out the episodeâs aseop: YOU make something special just by doing what you like to do and are good at well. Iâts been hard making these reviews, but I feel iâm getting the hang at it and itâs what I was meant to do, I just had to find it. Itâs not always easy to find your calling but when you got it, go for it instead of some version of you you think you should be. So we get pured distilled awesome for the climax. Besides Della again riding a bear thatâs also a butterfly, Kit, also a bear I did not miss that gag, proceeds to finally spin it and begin again it as he tears through them with Crowby and easily deispatches the planes finally earning Dellaâs respect and finally back in his element, using his newfound size and strength combined with his still inherent acrobatics to easily take them out and land on Carnageâs plane and beat him.Â
So the day is saved: The stone lands on the plane and our heroes properly secure it. Della releases her bear fly but itâll find itâs way home iâm sure... so majestic. Or itâll eat all the worldâs seagulls. Good news either way.Â
Back at the bay Kit packs up the stone safetly and gives them the bill. Which Della grumbles at but whiel he didnât fly he did save their asses.. after endagenring them but still and does have a buisness to run. Plus he has to save his plane.Â
But it turns out someoneâs already bought it. And you can probably guess who.Â
No not you sweetie.. though he is an investor for the person who DID buy it: Molly, whose taken being danger woman from a 4 year oldâs play time to her career running an air stunt show. This is the other thing that cemented the whole aged up versions of these guys working for me: HIstory Repeating itself. Once again an enterprising young woman with a lot of ideas has bought the seaduck from itâs incompitent owner and hires the former owner to work for her. But things are warmer this time: Kit wasnât happy doing what he was doing, and itâs clear unlike Rebecca, who just bought the first plane she could get and hired baloo because he was who she could afford, they became friends with time and patience if not more but thatâs still vauge... Molly did this out of love. She knew Kit was struggling and probably has as many fond memories of the sea duck and baloo as he does and didnât want someone else to get the old girl. Her air show seems to be going fine, she apparently has a full crew, fans and enough money to purchase another plane on a whim from the bank to expand the show.. she wanted her old plane back and her old brother back. And wheras again Rebecca offered Baloo the job because he wanted to keep his baby safe from some half assed pilot she could afford and she knew it and thus could manipulate him with that. Plus he worked cheap so there. Here Molly just admires her brothers skills and hires them on it and heâs frankly more comfortable being a sidekick than the main star anyway.Â
He TRIES to brush it off but gladly accepts. God another possible spinoff.. please make this Disney.. and if not at least Reboot tailspin I miss it. Still itâs a very satisfying ending. But what of Don Karnage? Well heâs lost everything as a result of this, unable to get back to his carrier, his crew mostly gone, and FOWL sure to be gunning for him. This is seemingly the end for him.. until he finds a chunk of the stone. âOr the start of an encoreâ. Wether this was a setup for a possible part of season 4, a possible spinoff or is going to come back in the finale.. weâre just going to have to wait and see wonât we?
Final Thoughts: I really liked this one. Itâs not the best of the season: Kitâs arc is kinda telegraphed and Deweyâs arc while intresting isnât focused on enough to really be that engaging. But the ideas at the core are solid and fit into the series well, the idea to age up our kid heroes from Talespin was really clever and paid off and as usual Adam Pally is a delight and as I said at the top was pitch perfect casting. Couldnât figure out who played molly and the credits cut out on me, so let mek now if you do but yeah I enjoyed this one> It wasnât the series at itâs best but given the last two are liable to get pretty intense it was a nice breezy break. And it got me wanting to watch Talespin again and thereâs nothing bad about that.Â
NEXT WEEK: In our penultimate adventure, Ducktales reinacts that one episode of Batman the Animated Series where all of Batmanâs foes put him on Trial, as Scroogeâs Rogues put him on trial with Doofus as prosecuter and Louie for the defense. Well at least itâs not Lionel Hutz.Â
This Week: Lots of Ducks! The lena retrospective continues as we take a detour for some comix, and we begin the Della arc as we go back to the start. Itâs finally time to talk about Woo-Ooo!.Â
If any of this sounds appealing follow my blog for more. If you like these reviews head over to my patreon, patreon.com/popculturebuffet, and become a patreon. At the 5 dollar level you get a review a month and even a dollar helps get to my stretch goals. Iâm up to 15 a month so 20 is next and that means a darkwing duck review every month! And if you really like Talespin like I do, 25 nets you a tailspin review a month and a review of the pilot. Ohohohohohohoo. See you at the next rainbow.Â

Restrained
Notes: I have no excuse, I just want a crack fic with smut treated seriously with Tai-chan to step on me the reader while looking down cockily. Humor, angst, fluff, splashed with pining dust :â) Also, I love Linkin Park. Â
Setting: Reader-chan is a villain and is terrible at being one, cue ongoing physical and snark battles with Tai-chan. Â
Warnings: Kinky Smut (So hereâs what my unacknowledged, vanilla self, has tried to write and nobody has to read it but itâs here in the story: Dirty talk, safe words, possessiveness, edging, talk about inexperience, handcuffs, breeding kink, unsafe sex, Taiâs mean and leaves the reader unattended, but he feels bad afterwards, lube, somehow thereâs vanilla, and fluff) and my weak emotions for Good Boys. Â
âŠâŠâŠ.
You didnât exactly chose the Villain life, it basically chose you. Cue your dadâs maniacal laughter, your motherâs evil smirks and her ways of teaching you how to go for the jugular since you were five...wasnât the most heroic childhood.  You grew up distant away from others, living life learning how to avoid the law and training heavily to avoid losing a fight, your parents seemed to take that as a green-light and pushed you into the family business. Not like you could fight it, anyway. You were an outcast from day one, and had no close friends. Â
That being said, you didnât really like hurting other people or doing typical villainy stuff, but you liked fighting. It gave you a feeling of pushing all of your aggression and bottled up anger onto somebody without killing them, whether it be heroes, vigilantes, or hell, other villains. It wasnât healthy, but you had nothing else, really. Â
Cue in the physical form of your recent excitement, the BMI hero who resembled a matryoshka doll and was kinda cute in his big form, no lie. The two of you had met near his agency with Sakura petals floating along with the breeze, and honestly it reminded you of a shojo manga. Well, him minding his own business until heâd seen your pathetic attempts at shoplifting.
He was there for a fight, and at first you overestimated him, thinking that he would go down quickly, but you were wrong. So wrong. You werenât the best of the villains, but you held your ground, the both of you panting and sweaty and for the first time, you liked fighting against a hero.
Of course being a self-called villain full of dirty tricks up your sleeve, you were good at vanishing, leaving him to shout curses at you, but you didnât care. From then on out, the two of you would continue ironically meeting in places. It was either you stumbling into him walking around town, eating Takoyaki, or him catching you...not doing anything villainous because you sucked at it, but you know, itâs the thought that counts. Â
Then the snark happened.
âWhere did you get your hero outfit? From the thrift store?â You quipped.
âAs in a matter of fact, I did. Saw yer mom there buyinâ old manâs underwear, Sweetheart.â
Kami help you.
âYou donât even know my mom! But yeah, sheâd probably do that.â You answered.
âWait, really?â
âYeah, sheâs kind of weird.â Â Â
You werenât on the top of the villain lists (or if you were on the list), but you were good at holding your ground, and he seemed to know of you, and thus seemed as if he was always making plans to run into you. You were no better. You had gotten into the habit of causing small trouble around his agency, and your battles were always lengthy, full of snark, and you admit you kind of liked to feel him push you against a brick building, leering down at you before the whole thing started.
Anyway, youâve always managed to either escape or heâd just throw up his hands and turn and walk away in a frustrated huff, like that one time you fell flat on your face, accidentally dodging his spear-formed punch. It was one time, but he didnât let you live it down, asking about your nose.
Oddly enough, the other pro-heroes, Miruko and Hawks, would just glance at you, sigh and then leave, muttering something about idiots, Eraserhead would just guide the children away from the two of you with a blank look, and Endeavor would just avoid the two of your messy fights altogether, opting that he ironically wasnât going to deal with âan old married coupleâ. Whatever that meant.
It didnât stop smaller, weaker heroes from trying, though. Trying to be hotshots and bring you in. Of course, they failed. You didnât listen to Linkin Park while training your ass out in the cold rain just to be brought down by some punks. Â Â
Tai-chan, or what youâve become calling him (thanks for Hawks just silently handing you a paper with his name on it, the absolute Wing-man), noticed. Although he was a hero and didnât dissuade the young ones from chasing after villains, he did basically say that anybody around his area was his to battle. It melted your heart, a little.
It didnât stop the two of your bantering and bickering, or sometimes heâd say something, trying to be serious but it comes out as silly, that you couldnât help but burst into a fit of giggles and heâd get flustered, having a cute blush that you couldnât help but just eat up.
It was like an odd addiction, you wanted to see more of him, even though it was through unhealthy things such as your fights, you wanted to hear more corny catchphrases, see his eye twitch of annoyance (you were a little shit), and finally, the both of you panting in defeat as he angrily munched on Takoyaki, snarling as you stole one, but let you have it, and so on.
You werenât sure if you were becoming an unhealthy masochist, or you just really liked him. Perhaps both, because your heart would flutter every time you see him smile around his sidekicks from afar, and then clench because you were so far gone into the life of a villain, you knew that you could never have that life. Be a hero, or have him at least as a friend.
Such sad thoughts did plague you, and it must have shown through, because you would halfheartedly remark to his commentary or sometimes, you just wouldnât show up for a day. He noticed. He was keen like that, and so to your surprise, he would take your fights more seriously, as if trying to keep you there, not letting you keep running away.
Honestly, it was a little sweet, but your poor heart was getting confused at your little game, and didnât know how to honestly feel for him. Â Â Â
Of course, everything must come to an end, doesnât it?
He was leering down at you with a cocky smirk, clothes ruined, showing off whatever he had, a boot stepping onto your chest, rain soaking through his soft hair and splattering your cheeks. An odd feeling came over you. Something you werenât familiar with, but through your mask, you felt that it was safe to just take a mental picture and burn it forever within your brain.
The fight was different. You were sick all week with the common cold, and when you returned from your little hibernation, weird gossip and rumors were littering about near the FatGum Agency. It was either you left him because you were getting bored, or you had found another hero to play with, or you were finally caught. Whatever it was, he seemed to be excited, relieved(?), and at the same time furious to see you. He demanded where have you been, and feeling increasingly snarky and not sure what to feel with your pining dumbass heart, you retaliated that you were on a vacation from his stupidity.
 Yeah, you lost. Â
âFinally caught ya.â His voice rasped out and hot damn did that not help with the odd searing warmth churning within your guts. The feeling of losing always frightened you, for you werenât sure whether or not your family would actually give a damn. Yet, you felt elated and calm. It was over, he could finally call the shots, and you could just sit in a jail cell and atone for whatever petty crimes you committed.
âSo you have. Howâs the weather up there, you giraffe?â You couldnât help but ask, and the boot on your chest pressed a tiny bit down in annoyance, but he made sure that you werenât hurting.
âJust fine. I think I stepped in shit, though.â Â
You couldnât help it. You began laughing, and to your astonishment, he did, too.
âI missed ya.â He admitted as the both of you calmed down. That surprised you.
âI thought you hated me?â
He gave you a look.
âYouâre annoying, and persistent, but not evil. Like a flea, you keep on bouncinâ back up, and I canât help but not dislike ya.â The words sent a warm tingling up your spine, and you found yourself smiling softly.
âI couldnât hate you either, you know. Youâre the only one,â You swallowed, and the continued as his eyes now focused onto yours. âwho I can freely just be myself around with.â
âWhaddya mean?â The tone was softer, now, but ever so curious. Well, itâs a good time as any to release your tragic backstory while in the drizzling rain.
âMy parents are both villains, and so I was raised as one. I could never be friends with heroes, or really anybody. I could never dream to be a hero, because of my background. Itâs shady from the start, who in their right mind would pick a hero who could just end up being like their parents?â
The words tumbled out of you, feeling the metaphorical weight be lifted off from your chest, as the rain quickened itâs pace. An uncomfortable silence washed over the two of you, and already you were regretting the word vomit that had just spilled out of your mouth. You said too much, you cringed inwardly. You should have just kept your mouth shut, now heâs going to pity you-
âYou know what? Fuck it.â Your eyes widened with shock and confusion as the so-called âDadGumâ Â had just said one of the worst bad words. Â
âDid you just-â
âYour parents can jump into the nearest jail-cell. You,â His eyes glinted with an unknown darkness that set your insides ablaze. âhave two options. Either you can platonically become a hero-in-training  and live with me, or you can be mine. My hero-in-training, my roommate, my lover, just, mine.â He put an emphasize on the word, and your face flushed despite the chilly autumn rain. Â
You would be surprised, but you oddly werenât. Endeavor was right, the two of you were basically an old married couple, bickering and bantering, always staring at each other when one was sure the other wasnât looking.
âAlright. Iâd like us to try...um...being more than...rivals?â You stammered. He cocked an eyebrow.
âI didnâ just pour my heart out for ya so ya can deliver that. Try a lilâ harder.â He scoffed. Â
âFine, fine! I..I like you too-â
âLove.â
âLove, you too! I just...I dunno, always wanted to find an excuse to just be around you.â
âThatâs sweet, anâ I love ya too, Sugarplum, but ya werenât here for a whole week-
âI was sick with the common cold!â
âNâ then these shitty rumors started-
âDonât act as if thatâs my fault!â
âSo Iâm feelinâ a lilâ snappy anâ hungry today, but not for food.â He humored you.
âWhat does that mean?â You tested the waters, knowing the truth, already. He took his boot off of you, crouching down to give you a predatory smile.
âI wonâ touch ya unless ya beg me, but our lilâ catânâmouse games have had me riled up, for a very, very long time.â He leaned in and whispered in your ear, and you couldnât help but swallow thickly with want as he continued.
âNâ now weâve discussed our feelinâs, Iâm all just wantinâ to tie you to my bed.â He finished as he continued leering at you as if you were the sheep, and him the wolf. You didnât blame him, youâve been wanting this, too. It was a little fast paced, but several months of mutual pining would probably do that to you.
âI mean, at least take me out to dinner, first.â You tried to joke. He just shrugged.
âDone.â
âWhat? Iâm a villain! My family are villains!â You tried to argue. He gave a smile mixed in with a humorous look. Â
âVillain? Last time I checked, starinâ at candy from the hand of a baby, isnât puttinâ ya on any wanted list. Youâre mine, now. Doesnât matter what yer shitty family thinks. Iâll fightâem, too.â The sentence made your heart swell, feelings of joy and acceptance fluttered within your for the first time in a long time, and you let yourself give a warm smile. His eyes softened, as he helped pull you up to your feet, letting you lean against him as you maintained your balance.
âAlright. We...we can just be a normal couple? How does this even work?â You tried out. He glanced at you.
âYeah, weâre goinâ to jusâ be a normal couple. Well, youâre gonna train with me, so that we can eventually get ya a license. Nâ youâre gonna kick your parentâs asses, not as a villain or a civilian, but as a hero.â He started off softly, but then a more rambunctious grin took over his face at the prospect, and to be honest, you felt like that was a good idea, spitting everything that theyâve taught you, back in their faces as you live life the way you want it, with your partner, of course.
Speaking of which.
âSo...weâre just going to continue getting soaked?â You asked, trying to keep yourself from shuddering.
âYeah, but not in the rain. Câmon, my place.â He gruffed, and you found yourself eagerly nodding.
You werenât sure how this happened so fast. First you entered his apartment, shivering, then he said that your clothes needed to be washed, aaaaand you were here, on his bed, naked, chilled, and your hands completely cuffed to the post as he was staring at you with such a dirty, hungry look, you felt thrilled by it.
âYou want this? Say no anâ weâll stop.â He offered one last time.
âI want this.â You admitted, and he gave off an almost predatory grin as you watched in amazement of him shucking off his clothes at the pace of the speed of light. Hot damn, he was huge, and beautiful. He grinned at your unabashed stare, crawling towards you on the king-sized bed, opening your legs as he slotted himself between them.
âSo pretty, and wet.â He chuckled, giving you little time to think as his thumb swiped at your leaking opening, causing you to gasp.
âI think that Iâm gonna eat you out.â Was the only warning you were given as your legs were pulled further apart, and the next thing you knew, he was on you. Your hands jerked against the fuzzy handcuffs as you felt him licking long, hot, and wet stripes from your opening, to your clit. You couldnât help but mewl as you subconsciously fought against your restraints, thighs trying to clench around him as he gripped them, keeping them apart as he suckled at your clit.
You felt helpless as he was giving you such an intense and dark stare while he was driving you to the edge, gauging your teary-eyed reaction while you bit your lips, hands squeezing onto thin air as you felt yourself getting closer and closer, hips bucking wildly.
Then, he stopped, and you growled into a pitiful whine, causing him to laugh.
âHow does it feel, causinâ others to wait?â
You huffed. He seriously couldnât be that petty! Â
âCommon. Cold.â You let out a hiss, and he gave you an unimpressed stare.
âAre ya givinâ me an attitude?â Was a warning. Â
âYeah, I am!â Like a bull, you ran right into that red flag. He grinned, a little darkly. It honestly wouldâve scared you a little, if you werenât so turned on.
âYer still a lilâ too feisty. As much as I love it, I âave other plans in mind.â He gave a false pout, and your stomach churned with awaited excitement in what he was going to do, next.
âIâll be back. Iâm going to the store. Be good, okay?â He gave your surprised look a dark smirk, and you couldnât help but growl. The audacity! You loved him, but the audacity! You couldnât help but look on with bewilderment as he gotten dressed, opening and closing the bedroom door shut as he left you all alone and tied up.
You waited for what seemed forever, pissed off and bored out of your mind as you felt increasingly cold and still wet. You refused to cry. He said heâd be back, didnât he? Then why do you feel so helpless and lonesome. You felt tears shed with relief and frustration as he finally opened the door to the bedroom, black bag in hand.
âBastard!â You hissed, and he eyed you with a sympathetic expression mixed in with a little guilt. He got undressed and set the bag next to the two of you, crawling towards you and wiped away the wetness on your cheeks, kissing them and your mouth as he held a gentler expression. He held your chilled frame against his too warm one, nuzzling you as he soothed your ruffled feathers. Â Â
âI know, Darlinâ. Iâll make it all better for you, I promise.â Â He kissed your nose as he gathered the blankets to surround your skin, still letting you be exposed, but at least youâll be a little warmer.
âDo you wanna continue?â
âYes.â You said without hesitation, feeling relieved after seeing his softer side, and still wanting release, and received a wet, dirty kiss. You moaned into it, feeling his hands rub your breasts, squeezing them rather roughly as he toyed with the nubs with his roughed up hands. He broke away too soon, leaving the two of you panting as his dark, feral look returned as he eyed you.
âBought you a lilâ somethinâ.â He turned away, rummaging through the bag. You eyed it wearily, hoping that he didnât go too crazy. He pulled out a bottle of strawberry lube, that was good, and...your face flushed.
âEver used these, before?â He held out the little vibrating bullets for you to see. You shook your head, and he chuckled. Â
âYouâre very vanilla, ainât you?â Â
âI-IâŠâ You stuttered, but he kissed your forehead.
âWhatâs yer safe word?â He asked. Safe word? Why couldnât the two of you have a normal first time, together? You thought about it.
âGrapes.â
âWhy that word?â
âI hate them.â You shrugged.
âFair enough. Alright, letâs get started.â He said lowly, opening the lube and bullets. He added some of the lube onto the bullets, attaching one bullet to your clit, and the other to your nipple with little pieces of tape. Yeah, you were confused, too, but he didnât pay you any mind as he set the controller to both bullets to the side, flipping the switch to a low setting.
You let out a choked whimper as your clit was being stimulated, him leaning forward and enjoying the view of your wetness drenching the sheets.
âSuch an eager slut.â He bit out almost darkly as his fingers spread open your labia.
ââM notta slut!â You protested, but it was on deaf ears as he had something else in mind. He generously poured a dime amount of lube onto his fingers, grinning down at you as the strawberry scent floated nicely in the room, mixing in with your own scent of arousal. You almost jolted as his lubed up fingers prodded the tight muscle to your vaginal entrance. Â
âDamn, relax, youâre so fuckinâ tight.â He murmured, and through your lust-fogged brain, you wondered if anybody else knew about this side of âDad-gumâ. Although having a rough demeanor, he was gently opening you up, and you felt warmth blossom in your chest at the extra attention that he was giving you, glancing at you from time to time to see if you were alright.
You were more than fine. Five fingers deep, and a higher setting to the mini bullets, you were very close to coming. You rocked your hips in a desperate fashion, hands clenched tightly as the fuzz to the handcuffs prevented you from hurting yourself.
âYou gonna cum?â He leered.
âYes!â You bit out, and your stomach fluttered with excitement mixed with dread at that dark chuckle. Â
âNot yet.â He switched the vibrator off, and you swore you could hear yourself huff into an annoyed growl.  Tears of frustration threatened to spill, and he gave another sympathetic look. You swore that he was mocking you.
âItâs okay, alright? Iâll give you what ya want.â He kissed your eyes, holding your frame close to him as he then rubbed his cheek against yours.
âPatience, Baby. Iâm hurtinâ too. Right now, letâs let ya cool down while I mark up this pretty skin of yours, alright?â He kissed you gently, and you were now aware of his own need. It was swollen and looked angry as precum was headily dripping onto the sheets. It twitched as you realized that he knew that you were staring. You licked your lips and he groaned with want.
âSee? Hurtin.â. He then continued to do as he promised, kissing you slowly as his hands rubbed against your skin, squeezing here and there as your hands itched to touch him. He paid your whining no heed as he licked at the juncture at your neck, biting it harshly, suckling at the blossoming bruise as his dick twitched at your wanton whine and buck of hips. He kissed the spot gingerly, eyeing your debauched frame with greed as he lowered his mouth to another spot.
âDamned young punks, trying to bring you in. They should know better. Youâre in my territory.â Bite. You winced, but keened with need as he lathered the blossoming bruises with gentle kisses. Â
âEvery inch of you is mine.â His eyes glittered almost darkly as he tore away from his work. Oh yes, you were looking nice. He didnât do too much, but the love bites he imprinted onto your neck and clavicle helped soothe the possessive ache that he had. He knew that you wanted to touch him, too, and was thrilled at the aspect.
âYou wanna touch?â He prodded. You keened into a hurried nod, not caring about your pride.
âPlease.â What a cute sound, how could he refuse? He relented, and you were on him. It felt as if he was guiding you, letting your hands roam, doing your own squeezing at his stomach, biceps, and pecs while you kissed him feverishly. He basked in your attention, letting you claim your prize for being such a wonderful and patient Sweetheart. Of course he kept you from touching his dick, promising that another time, definitely, so you relented in favoring of returning his little marking game.
He swore he could come untouched by your less rough touch, eyeing him to see if he acknowledged that you were doing a good job, to which he couldnât help but find that adorable, as well.
âYouâre so good for me. So patient and sweet. Iâm going to breed you, now. Would you like that?â He hummed, and you swore that your brain stopped and your core clenched with need. One sentence should not sound that hot, but it did.
âYes. I would like that.â You answered a little too gently, and he hummed with approval, kissing you.
âIf you donât, remember that we donât hafta do anything that you donât wanna do. Remember your safe word?â He inquired, you nodded and told him.
âGood. You wanna be bred nâ dirty-talked? I gotcha some Plan B at the store, didnât really think about condoms. Is that fine?â
You nodded, telling him that you liked both ideas. To be honest, you didnât mind being marked up in such a way. Not with your pent up lust and feelings of love towards this sadistic Himbo of a man. Â Â
âLie on yer back. I wanna see ya.â He growled out, and you hastily complied.
âNow, tell me, how experienced are ya, really? Not hard to notice that you seem to be learninâ a few things.â He gave you look in which you couldnât decipher.
âItâs dumb.â
âNo it ainât. Doesnât matter to me if ya have history.â He kissed your knee softly as his expression gentled, and you felt yourself relax.
âYour possessiveness says otherwise.â You tried.
ââCause theyâve been houndinâ around whatâs been mine in my territory. Your earlier experiences donât count. Youâre mine, now, and Iâm planning on keepinâ it that way.â He smoothed your leg gently despite the dark edge in his tone of words. Really, you feel elated.
âSo no judgment?â You inquired.
âNone.â He promised. Â You believed him. Feeling a bit more braver and relaxed, you could trust him with your secrets. You didnât know a way how to make it less cringe-worthy to admit, but you wanted to tell him, anyway.
âI never really had to time or opportunity.â You found yourself saying, and thatâs all he needed to hear. Â
His eyes flashed into something that you couldnât decipher, but it didnât matter. He wan onto you, kissing you slowly yet frequently, retouching every place where he could reach with a more gentle approach.
âDonât make a kink out of it.â You groaned. He chuckled lowly.
âWhy not? Ya get to do this, once.â
âItâs a social construct, and dumb. Itâs not like my personality is magically going to change after having something within me.â
âI agree completely, Dearest, but I find it endearinâ and sweet that youâre willing to share this with me.â Â
âThatâs the dumbest thing Iâve ever heard.â You huffed out softly.
âMight be, but my dickâs trying to convince itself to do the thinkinâ.â
âMaybe you should let it, then.â You prodded, and he then gave you a dark grin.
âAs ya wish. Donât forget yer safe word.â Was the only warning you had.
You were already loosened and wet, and although his actions resembled of that like an animal as he kissed you with fervor and biting some new areas, he was gentle when he decided that it was time for the main course. Coating himself with a generous amount of cold lube, he hissed as he turned on the bullet vibrators, letting you get stimulated as he breached your vaginal opening, teasing and prodding the muscle as it opened up for him.
You felt the hot, thick head of his dick slip inside with little to no restraint, surprising you as your legs widened further, allowing him to sink in further. He was big, and your walls had to stretch to accommodate him, but you wanted it so damned badly. It hurt so good, you thought. There was a little pain, but the delicious stretch heavily outweighed it, and it reached places that you didnât know that just needed to be itched. Â
Hot damn, did you feel stuffed.
âHow are ya?â He then asked, and then you realized that he was fully seated inside, and you could tell that he was desperate and hot as you were.
âIf you stop this time, I might actually kill you.â Your threat was light, but he swallowed thickly at the intensity of your stare and heated gaze of want.
âGood?â
âWonderful. Move.â You all but demanded, but he eagerly complied, letting your too-tight walls massage him.
âFuck! So tight. Might keep ya like this, re-tie ya to my bed. Fuck ya full nâ heavy.â He couldnât help but growl out the words, being rewarded with the tightened clench of your walls.
âYa like that? Beinâ my personal cocksleeve? Belly round nâ breasts heavy with milk?â His movements jerked faster as he squeezed your breast that didnât have the bullet pleasantly buzzing against it. You couldnât help but nod, arousal dripping onto the sheets as the bullet roughly buzzed against your clit, the both of you feeling the painful aching need for release. His hips were all but snapping to meet your thrusts, balls slapping against your ass, as he engaged you into a filthy kiss as the lewd sounds and scents echoed and filtered within the walls.
Your head felt light and the both of you were covered in a sheen of sweat, he opted to weave his hand into yours, holding it rather almost gently as he moved as if a man possessed. Yours hit first, gripping you and clenching you out of nowhere as you let out his name in a frantic shout, clutching onto him ever so tightly as your head fogged into a sharp relief that left you into tears from finally able to cum. He was no better, hips faltering as he felt you embrace your own orgasm, causing his mind to almost go blank as the movement of his hips bucked into a frantic state. He huffed out, calling out to you as he held onto you tightly, anchoring the both of you into a freight train of orgasmic bliss.
You whimpered out your oversensitive clit and breast, hitting the damned power button to those little bullets as you came down from your high. Taishiro collapsed next to you as the both of you were panting, trying to catch your breaths. You were so drowsy, but you really didnât want to sleep in your own spunk and messes.
âDirty.â You whined, and he laughed, kissing you.
âLetâs get cleaned up, then. Know ya donât wanna, but you could seriously get an UTI if ya donât use the bathroom.â You agreed, tearing off the bullets, and pulling your weakened state up to use the bathroom as he decided to lazily change the sheets, throwing the used sheets, toys, and the black bag in the corner, somewhere. He would deal with that, later.
He caught you as you stumbled into him from coming out of the bathroom. Gently, he maneuvered you to where you were snuggled up against him, a heavy blanket re-warming up your cooling skin as he hummed, gently playing with your hair as he kissed you softly.
âYa good?â
âTired nâ fine.â You mumbled, peeking up to look at him. He smiled gently.
âI looooove you.â He singsonged, earning him your own gentle smile and a soft kiss.
âI love you, too. Go to sleep.â You playfully griped at the last part, and he chuckled in compliance.
âŠâŠâŠâŠ..
Bonus: Â Yeah your parents were pissed, but you were a hero, and their opinions didnât really count, anymore. They knew your potential, so they cleared away from you as you and your fiance moved into a safer city. End.
âŠâŠâŠ.

my ghost - dabi x hawks
Not a day passed by where Keigo Takami didnât think of Toya Todoroki - his best friend that he fell in love with. One day, he swears heâs seeing a ghost - but it's not a ghost at all.Â
i posted this on ao3 last night but forgot to cross post here cause it was late - my bad.Â
smut below the cut - if you enjoyed consider a lil tippy tip
He remembered it like it was yesterday.Â
The teacher coming in with a somber look on her face, eyes slightly glazed over as she told his class that one of their classmates had passed away. She had looked to Keigo sympathetically as he sat in shock - the news not quite hitting him until much later in the day, when the P.E teacher found him in the locker room crying.
Not a day passed when Keigo Takami didnât think of Toya Todoroki - his best friend that he fell in love with. At the time of his death they were only teenagers, new to the idea of love and romance and not even sure what they liked. As the years went on and more people tried to advance on him, Keigo couldnât help but let his mind wander back to Toya - making him realize that he was in love with his deceased best friend.
The publicists at his agency thought it would be best if he kept his sexuality a secret. Part of his attraction as Hawks was his looks, he knew that - imagine how much his attractiveness as a hero would go down if society found out he was gay. He always fought with them and told them that they could shove it - but he knew that they were right. There would always be one asshole who would try to tank him for it.Â
Everything he did to become the number two hero, he had done with Toya in mind. They had always said they would become heroes together, run their own agency to protect the world from villains. But now here he was, standing on the stage next to the new number one, the person who could no doubtedly be blamed for the death of his best friend - Endeavor.Â
Toya hadnât said much to Keigo about his father - but the scars and bruises were enough to prove to him that the hero wasnât all he was cracked up to be. But even now, what could he do about it? He had to just smile and put on the show for the cameras - something he was good at. He had been hiding his sexuality all these years, he could pretend to like Endeavor.Â
Keigo couldnât get out of there fast enough - answering the absolute bare minimum of questions that would get the publicists off his back before flying out to his patrol post. The sun was setting by now - the ranking announcement taking way longer than it should have. As much as he wanted to fly back to his penthouse and drink away some of his feelings, he had a job to do - the job that he and Toya always said theyâd do together. He wondered how much things would be different if Toya was here - would they be heroes together? Would they be together? Keigo ached to know, even though he would never find out.Â
Shouts of commotion from below got his attention as he sighed, standing up and flying downwards. There was a group of thugs confronting a singular villain - trying to go after him. One of them looked up wide eyed, dropping his weapon and dashing away.Â
âOh shit - itâs Hawks!â With a snap of his fingers, Keigo let his feathers fly free, injuring the thugs and letting them fall to the ground. Hawks pressed the police button on his costume to alert the police of the incident before turning his attention to the villain. He landed himself in the middle of them before turning around to face the villain that was causing all the trouble in the first place.Â
âWell, well - if it isnât the number two hero himself. Hawks, right?â he asked. Keigo turned around and his eyes grew wide, meeting the gaze of the villain. No, it canât be - âWhatâs the matter, number two? You look like youâve seen a ghost.â the patch work cremator said with a smirk. Keigo knew the blue of those eyes anywhere - the snarky attitude, that face, despite all the staples and burns - he dreamt about it for years. Police sirens started to get closer and closer to the duo before he sighed. âGood talk. Iâm gonna take my leave now - thanks for disposing of these worthless thugs for me. Using my quirk is a real pain.â with that, he turned on his heel and started walking away.Â
âToya!â Keigo shouted before he could stop himself. He saw the man stop for the briefest of seconds, turning back towards him. Keigo felt his breath get stuck in his throat - it couldnât be him, could it? Icy blue eyes locked back on his, a small smile turning his cheeks upwards.Â
It was him.
âThe name is Dabi now, Keigo. Iâll be seeing you real soon.â Dabi rose his hand and within seconds, Keigo was up in the air avoiding the blue flames. The screams of the captured thugs echoed off the walls as the police arrived on the scene, calling in for back up. By the time some of the smoke and flames cleared, there was absolutely no sign of him.Â
Toyaâs alive. After all this time, Toyaâs alive -Â
âHawks, thank you for calling this in. Where did the flames come from?â a police officer asked the number two. Snapping out of his trance, Keigo turned around to face the police officers, seeing the medical team retrieving the charred bodies of the thugs behind them. With a sigh, he answered.
âDabi, from the League. Unfortunately, he got away this time. Flames were too quick.â He said back. The police officers looked at him with unease - Hawks was the quickest one around, too fast for his own good, but they didnât question his answer. For whatever reason, today Hawks wasnât quick enough to get Dabi.Â
After cooperating with the police, he decided he was done for the day. He sent his sidekicks out to patrol some areas while he flew back to his penthouse, landing on the balcony outside the living room and strolling in. He shrugged off his jacket and threw it over a chair before walking over to his bar and pouring himself a drink.Â
Keigo had spent the better part of his life trying to deal with Toya being gone - trying to deal with being in love with him - but he had been alive all along? To make matters worse - he was with the League? What the hell had actually happened that night? To his knowledge, Toya had gone up to the mountains to practice using his quirk, and just never came back - burning to death. There hadnât even been a body found - so how in the hell was he here now?
âYou should really have better security up here. Anyone could just⊠walk in.â Keigoâs feathers acted quicker than he did, several flying out and landing just inches before Dabiâs - Toyaâs body. He let out a laugh as Keigo turned around to meet his gaze.
âHow?â Keigo asked, voice cracking. He inwardly cringed at himself - if only the public could see him now. Hawks, the number two hero, a bloody mess because his best friend and love was back from the dead.Â
âI lived. Clearly - but look at you! Number two hero, all buddy-buddy with Endeavor today. It made me sick.â Dabi said, walking over to Keigo and helping himself to his own drink at the bar. Keigo let out a snort as he refilled his own cup.Â
âI meant how did you live. See your attitude is still the same.â Keigo said back to him, turning around to face him sideways.Â
âWell, God didnât want me and Hell didnât either, so here I am.â Dabi retorted, drinking while eyeing the number two. âSo? Are you now best of buds with dear âol dad?â he asked him.Â
âIâd rather tell him to go kick rocks - but unfortunately, I need to pretend to like him. For the publicâs sake.â Keigo admitted to Dabi, who hummed in acknowledgment. He watched the scar tissue on his neck bulge as he drank, clearing his throat as he put the glass down after drinking.Â
âYeah, thatâd look real fuckinâ bad, right? I hear youâre great at pretending, anyway. If you can pretend to be straight, then I guess you can pretend to like my shithead dad.â Keigo almost spat out his drink at the comment, earning a raised eyebrow from the villain. âSomething I said, Kei?â he asked, the two of them putting their glasses down and now looking at each other.Â
âHow did you find that out?â Keigo asked through gritted teeth.Â
âCome on, like it wasnât already obvious when we were teenagers. Every stupid 13 year old girl in our class threw themselves at you and you could have given a shit.â Dabi said to him smuggly, taking a step closer to the winged hero. âYou know, back then - I knew I was too, you know. At first, it was going to just be spite to my old man - imagine him knowing his oldest son was not only a failed experiment, but also gay.â he said with a chuckle.Â
âOh really? Just spite?â Keigo asked, cocking an eyebrow.Â
âWell at first - until after I âdiedâ, when I started watching you from the shadows. Saw how bent out of shape you were, really, you were a mess. It actually hurt my heart a little, not gonna lie.â Dabi was walking closer and closer to Keigo slowly but surely, almost on top of him. Keigo made no sign that he was going to move, or was displeased, so he kept going.Â
âHuh, so you still have a heart.â he said back with a smirk. Keigo tried to mask how Dabiâs close proximity was affecting him - his heart racing a mile a minute. âWhat do I have to do with this little story of yours? What, took one look at me and realized you liked men more?â he asked, keeping up the smirk.Â
âAnd if I did? What would you do then?â he asked, voice gravelly as their chests were nearly touching. He could feel the heat coming off of him - body warm from his quirk, thatâs how close Dabi was to Keigo. The tension could be cut with a knife, the air thick with it and surrounding the two men.Â
âIâd tell you that you were my reason too.â Keigo said honestly, quietly.Â
âWell, ainât that a relief.â Dabi said back to him. Without a second thought, Keigo grabbed Dabi by the shoulders and closed the gap between them, the villain letting out a grunt as their lips met each other. Keigoâs hand went around the back of Dabiâs neck, pushing their mouths impossibly closer together as Dabiâs went around Keigoâs back to crash their bodies together. They both moaned into the mouth of the other as their hips met, each of their bulges harshly pushing against the other. âWhere the fuckâs the bedroom, Kei?â Dabi hissed out in Keigoâs mouth.Â
âHold on to me.â Keigo said back, using both his hands to slightly lift Dabi off the ground and fly across the penthouse and into the bedroom. Their lips met once more after Dabiâs back hit the mattress, Keigo moaning as Dabiâs hips bucked upwards to meet his. Dabi used all the force in his body to turn Keigo over, flipping him on his back and panting for breath. His pupils were blown out, barely any blue left to his eyes as they stared down at Keigoâs, in a similar state.Â
âLooks like you have a problem there, number two.â Dabi said, voice low and deep as his hand cupped the tent in Keigoâs pants. He let out a pitiful moan as the villain chuckled above him. âAllow me.âÂ
With that, Dabi unbuckled Keigoâs belt and started to unzip his pants. Once he had those shrugged down enough, his hand went under the waistband of Keigoâs boxers and pulled out his hard cock. Keigo let out a moan as he squeezed it gently, thumb gliding over the slit at the head and spreading the precum that had leaked out. Keigo tried to keep his eyes on Dabi, before they rolled back into his head as the villainâs tongue licked up the underside of his shaft.Â
âFuckâŠâ Keigo moaned, feeling Dabiâs smirk as he took his cock in his mouth. Warmth encased his member as Dabi began to suck his cock, taking as much of his lengthy member into his mouth as he could before his staples started to pain him. What he couldnât fit in his mouth he wrapped a hand around, starting to pump him. His tongue flicked over Keigoâs head with every bob as his hand pumped him and let out gentle squeezes to his balls, sending jolts of pleasure up his body. Every muscle in Keigoâs body simultaneously tensed up as he felt his cock harden more in Dabiâs mouth. âT - Toya - â he stuttered as he started to twitch in Dabiâs mouth.Â
âCum, Keigo.â the villain said from below. Keigo let out a guttural moan as he felt himself release inside of Dabiâs mouth. The villain swallowed all of it as Keigo panted and moaned his way through his release, death gripping onto the sheets below him as he felt himself relax. When Dabi stood back up, he shrugged his jacket off and let it fall to the floor, bringing his lips back up to meet Keigoâs. They kissed with a sense of urgency, Dabiâs rock hard erection pressing into Keigoâs still hard cock. âNeed you.â Dabi panted as their lips parted, the two men pulling each otherâs shirts over their heads.Â
âThen come and get me.â Keigo said back as he now tried to unbuckle Dabiâs belt, managing to get it completely undone and pushing his pants down and off. Dabi let out a moan at the actions as he pulled Keigoâs pants the rest of the way off as well and shoved him backward against the mattress once more. Their lips met again as the two were now naked, bodies pressed together and sweating as Keigo felt Dabiâs cock prod at his hole. Dabi guided himself in, pressing into Keigo gently as the latter hissed at the sensation.Â
âRelax, Kei - fuckâŠâ Dabi breathed as he continued to settle in. Dabi was losing himself in the feeling - Keigo was so deliciously tight around him and he had been waiting for so long to finally be able to fuck him right. He was inserting himself slowly, savoring the moment as he finally bottomed out.
âIâm not made of glass Toya, so how about you start - fucking shit - â Keigo was cut short as Dabi started to thrust, a moan falling off his lips as the villainâs pace started out quick and deep. Dabi let out a chuckle as he pounded into him.
âWhat were you saying?â he asked, a moan of his own falling out of his mouth as Keigo squeezed down on him. âShit Kei - you do that again and Iâll - â Dabi moaned again as he felt himself harden inside Keigo, the other manâs cock twitching between their bodies. Keigo was still sensitive from his last orgasm, a moaning and desperate mess for the man above him. Dabiâs pace increased once more as he thrust into Keigo so deeply the hero was seeing stars above him, feeling his second orgasm starting to come up and almost at the bursting point.Â
âToya - Iâm gonna - gonna cum - â Keigo said. Dabi let out a loud moan as his hips kept slapping against Keigoâs ass, the sound of his name coming off the heroâs lips like music to his ears. Dabiâs cock started to twitch inside him and he knew that he was not far behind.
âCum - cum with me, Kei - fuck!â Dabi cursed, bringing his lips down to meet Keigoâs. Keigo let out a loud moan into the villainâs mouth as he came over his stomach, Dabi moaning back as his hips stuttered into Keigo once more before releasing inside him. They moaned into each other as their releases continued, eventually kissing as Dabi slipped out of Keigo. After a few minutes, they laid next to each other in the bed, Keigo finally speaking up to cut the silence.Â
âSo, now you gonna disappear on me until you need a fuck again?â he asked the villain. Dabi scoffed as he rolled to face him, eyes narrowing.Â
âYou want the world to know you just fucked a villain?â Dabi asked back. Keigo humed in agreement as Dabi pressed a kiss to his lips again. He did have a point - obviously, no one could know.Â
But even if it was just for a night, for that moment, everything felt⊠right to Keigo.Â
