PC update time!!

My GPU (Nvidia GTX 970) needed a replacement, which meant a new motherboard meaning a new CPU and memory. So, costly, ... but here's the replacement:

AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT :))

Out with the old, in with the new

My biggest change in my brain is however the monitor set up. I had an old screen, on the left side, as a second monitor. Now, with Ephron's old monitor, I have set my main screen on the left.

(still need to tweak the colour settings)

I'll get used to it quickly I hope!

But yay fancy PC again!! Even the computer store owner said it was a very good choice :D

(the old computer parts are going to a friend who'll reuse them seeing as they still work fine. we just have too many outdated PC's ourselves already)

it is barely 8 am and the univer is t e s t i n g me i SWEAAAAAAR

#first i have to be up at 4am to take my dad to the airport #then i get home with an hour and 10 mins left before i have to go to work but i can't go back to sleep bc i already got ready #and i wont have time to REget ready #THEN i get to work and cannot get onto my laptop bc theres something funky with the docking station that gives me battery power and internet #THEN once i get IT to help me with that #my normal desktop computer FREEZES while i am in the MIDDLE of working on this document #and thankfully it wasnt long since the last time i hit save but STILL #so i shut my computer off EXCEPT AT FIRST IT GIVES ME THE STUPID ASS 'DRAG THIS DOWN TO SHUT OFF PC' BUT HELLO ITS FROZEN I CANT DRAG SHIT #so i figured out how to shut it off #and i finally got it shut off but then i turn it back on and. the screen is still black #so i go bug the IT guys again and i bring one back to my desk but the second we get there OF COURSE the screen has reloaded #except i didnt completely waste his time bc it was STILL frozen #he fixed it thankfully #BUT JFC NO MORE #GIVE ME A BREAK PLEASE #mack rambles

Following a new PC Power Supply replacement, my current GPU card had followed, meaning another broken after 5 months of usage... 🖥️😢😭 Damn, who knew that my PC parts could sometimes be broken for less than a month... However, it turns out that these two are "FAKE". *sigh* 😦😓 I'll explain my story, very soon. In the meantime, I'm going back to my mom's laptop, once again... 👩💻

#MAN OF ALL TIME he's so fuckin rad #he came over to help me set up my desktop (got a pc btw) and funniest man in existence here he touched my desk saw it wobble and went ''NO'#came back with his tools and an office chair for me because he saw the chair I was gonna use and went :/#this man brought over an ENTIRE TOOLBOX just for me because I cannot for the life of me find where the old one went and just. fixed the des #that I had been struggling with for about eight months at this point. in like twenty minutes. and then set up my desktop for me #he also brought over a webcam and microphone without any sort of promoting just because he knows I do discord calls with my friends and gf #also I dug out the instructions for the desk and before I could even hand him the paper he was like ''so this is how we fix this''#and then fixed it and was like ''yeah you did that wrong but you were close''#and then was like ''dont buy furniture and stuff without letting me know first what you want I'll keep an eye out''#and I was laughing being like ''I didn't want to come to you every time I need something because I want you to see me as independent''#and he went ''you live by yourself of course I see you as independent'' and my bitches the way I almost cried right there #just. idk something something the way my families love languages have always been acts of service and gift giving #and my dad insisting I should rely on him more and giving me stuff I wanted but don't have without EVER TELLING HIM I wanted said things #just. my dad is so cool guys #sorry I saw my computer set up vibing on my desk and got completely overwhelmed #ignore me #not marvel related
