Lol idk why Traveler was so.....curious/disgusted? by Tadhla butchering the bird. Traveler, you have been hunting this entire time. I mean sure everything we hunt immediately fall into perfectly prepared cuts of meat or chicken legs, but like surely in universe the Traveler had to butcher the animals they killed, right? Right MHY???

Sumeru Desert- Genshin Impact

the jumpscare that is this theme in the new desert region

i was just trying to record this beautiful night theme when this tonal shift happened (around 01:05) oh my god

on another note, the latter part has a very "dune" (2021) vibe, the percussion in particular, and even harmonically

for comparison:

paul's dream (the percussion around 02:07, and again that motif around 04:47)

the utter shock and suddenness of the theme also reminds me of the opening of dune:

One thing I forgot to mention that I did find. While they don't do the symbols like in dragonspine. At the domed structure in the ruins underneath Tsurumi you will find the same sparkles as you find around the chasm nail. However I would caution the assumption that that means there is for sure a nail there as the geography shows no sign of being nailed.

As for the sumeru nail. That was used to by Deshret to create the eternal oasis. Which is why there's is no sign of the nail other than the geography of the Desert of Hadramaveth.

Dragonspine Sparkles

So as one does when they are way too deep into GI lore, I was once again exploring dragonspine with my partner. And he makes a VERY interesting discovery:

These sparkles are located in the cavern right below the Skynail summit

They're also right above the cavern too, close to one of the seelie statues:

I haven't seen these types of sparkles anywhere else, not even in the Chasm where the other skynail is clearly on display. I have NO idea why they are there or what it could mean, but I am SHOOKETH. If anyone else has found something like this anywhere else, let me know! I haven't been able to piece together any theories behind it just yet, mostly because this is the only location I know that they are in.
