Also if you want to know what a ‘Sapphire’ is, it is a vampire whose is immune to daylight but weak against darkness. In the Lunaverse, Sapphires are rare because they are endangered vampire subrace. Miles Morales is/was one of them, I don’t know, it is depend on the creator and the other contributor. His special Chemical X power is turning into a spider. His spider form is based on the Evarcha culicivora.

Chai: What is your OC’s comfort food/drink?

Denki: “Favorite comfort food…. Savory is Desi style veggie masala noodles. As for something sweet to eat is a badusha, it is similar to a glazed doughnut at the Powerpuffed Pastries, but the taste and texture are totally different. Even though Dubai chocolate bars and sweet and sour jalebi are my favorite sweets, veggie masala noodles and badusha are my comfort foods. As for comfort drink, that would be nelli crush soda.”

Oolong: How does your OC decorate their space?

His bedroom would look like this with wolf plushies on the bed and a My Chemical Romance poster on the wall. He doesn’t put his bonsai tree in his bedroom, and rather have it outside and his personal puja unit is in another room.

Denki tilted his head, staring at Headmistress Elodie and Professor Tormenta, who are expressing a concern look plastering on their face. The latent inhuman/Chemical X Super Hybrid is sitting down in the staff room for a meeting on Saturday, discussing about the Wednesday’s night vampire attack in the P.O.I.N.T. Prep Boys’ Dormitory as he was the one whose took part in the Night Watch. Denki stays silence as he take a moment to replay the memory of another attack of vampires at P.O.I.N.T. Prep. Denki was put in charge to evacuate the boys to the safe house. However, he get between the children and the children watch as Denki got bitten by a vampire. Reynash and Soren, Tormenta’s son are among the boys to witness his eldest brother get bitten by a vampire to keep them safe.

“I don’t understand, why didn’t Denki use his powers to defends them off?” Reyansh told Professor Tormenta about this. Tormenta’s eyes are narrowed at Denki when he declined that he was bitten by a vampire. Did he lose his memory after passing out from blood loss, or does this vampire have this ability to erase his memory after sucking his blood? Good thing he wasn’t turn into a vampire as he is not showing any signs of turning.

“I see, you’re sure you don’t recall being bitten?”

Denki nod. “I swears on my heart, I never recall being bitten. The last thing I know was lying in the hospital bed after I evacuated my little brother and the other male students.”

He let out a sigh and frown. “I’m sorry, it must have been the head trauma I have gotten that I don’t recall this event and my mind is actually still blurry….”

Elodie frowns for Denki because he volunteered to teach the disciples of Strength and Wisdom in the wrong time. This boy have been through a lot. Protecting India all by himself for six years alone, despite having other Indian alumni superheroes trained by Pan-Asian School for the Unusually Gifted, the school Denki graduated from. Even though she is the headmistress, she could tell that his hero’s journey is taking a toll on him.

“By the way Professor McKnight, is your son, Soren doing well? I hope he is well.”

Tormenta hummed.

“Thanks you for your concerns, however I cannot disclosed any information to you. Not yet at this moment,” Tormenta informed.

“You’re welcome and noted.”

Meanwhile, Reyansh is sitting on his bed at the the guest room of Nergal Junior’s home in Neo Riot City since the boys’ dormitory is closed because of the vampire attacks. However instead of living at his home back in Townsville, he’s staying with Nergella’s father, Nergal Junior for a while now, under Denki’s request. Questions are swirling around in his head after what happen. He hope that his friends, such as Saturn is all right. He cannot believe that there are vampire infestation occurs in P.O.I.N.T. Prep, this is why he doesn’t want any supernatural to be involved in his life. Supernatural is the reason his mom disappear from his life and turning his life upside down. He didn’t wants to be watching over Nergella to begins with! Reyansh hears his cellphone vibrating on the nightstand. He let out an frustrated sigh, it could be his sisters, Momoko and Ashanti texting him on WhatsApp, on their father’s behalf (because he blocks him) to see if he and Denki were alright.

Just then, he hears a knock on the guest room’s door.

“Nergella, if that’s you, I am still not in a good mood to talks to you.”

“……This is your Ex-Uncle,” Nergal Junior replied. “I just wanted to know if you wants to play soccer outside with the Nergalings. I do not wants you to be stuck in this room all day. It’s an offer. Not a demand by the way.”

“I don’t care,” Reyansh talked back to him.

“So you rather end up like me then?” Nergal Junior replied.

“I am not like you! I have normal friends,” Reyansh barked. “I know that I can goes outside and have fun whenever I wants. I am not some child whose follow orders. Just go away!”

“Pre-teens,” Nergal Junior thought. He left Reynash alone. If Reyansh said he can choose to go out, he believes him. Perhaps he could send his sister, Negona to keep an eyes on him but primarily to goes out to have fun for herself.

which Lunaverse oc is the most affectionate? is this just to their partner, or to their friends and family, too? do they avoid pda, or simply not care?

Nergella is the most affectionate OC of mine of them all. Thanks to her mothers giving Nergella the best healthy lifestyle they can bring to her. She does not have a partner yet, so for now it is just her family and friends. Nergella used to show her affectionate side to Destiny, however after one incident, Nergella is forced to be separate apart from her cousin because she lost an innocent part of her and was left traumatized by this event. Nergella simply does not care about PDA. She is known to give out hugs to her close friends, such as Hekatrina O’Lantern, Klarissa Loud, Kaizo, Rin Beetles, Junebug Noceda, and Royal Chang-X.

Nergella does show other ways of affectionate, such as giving hair care to her cousin, Aurora, helping her mothers out with household chores, her cooking and baking (she enjoy baking and cooking with her mothers, grandfather, Destiny, and Denki), and giving gifts to Momoko, such as the magically handcrafted stuffed animals and plushies house for her birthday.

In honor of April Writing Prompt Challenge hosts by @thepaladincosplays. Here is my answer to the first writing prompt. I thought long and hard for this.

To Denki Deol, Mumbai, India is consider a safe place for him and his family. He thought India already have enough protection because only his parents were around. Drinking chai tea together, his mother, Buttercup giving Denki pointer on his punching skills, and family's bike riding. Celebrating Diwali and Pongal together, including with their entire relatives are rememberable too.

But some events change his life forever have destroyed his entire childhood.

His mother disappeared in the line of duty, stones were throw at Momoko because of her gender identity when she was a child, Ashanti's dream of living in America. They lead to Dinesh to take his siblings to live in America.

15 years old Denki volunteer to take the mantle of Grid, volunteer of passing Dinesh's promise to him (The promise is to never leave his hometown ever again and protect the people in his community from any threats). Thus, Denki live with his paternal grandparents and aunt for the next six lonely years of his life.

Denki knew exactly what he had, Denki never thought he lose it all by one single decision his father made. It is lonely that his own family choose to moves to Townsville, America and not stay in Mumbai, India. For what? More career opportunities as a hero? Freedom? They can do that here.

He feels like his father only care about his daughters and youngest son more than him. In short, he felt betrayed when he decide for the rest of his family to moved to Townsville when India needed the original Grid the most; A self-promise Dinesh broke that he made long ago. He pushed pass these feelings and bottled them up. And distance himself from his maternal relatives in America, and secretly his own family until at his current age, 21.

India wasn't the same because it isn't his safe place or his home because his family aren't there. His brain bragging him that he could do better that make India feels safe for Momoko. He supports the Transgender communities in India and raise money and help out, because he wish for India to be a safe place for them, including his sister, Momoko. He appear in talk shows and explain how he thankful of his parents raising him and talk good about his family in America, so that a rumor of his father abandoning his son won't be spread.

Denki still remains regressing his emotions and decide his family never lose what they have. He is all grown up. They got everything, especially when his sisters get what they always wanted. Safety and comfort in expressing for Momoko & the American Dream for Ashanti.

If Momoko wants to have powers, he will books an appointment and take her to see the Genetic Council to for a check up and able to obtain superpowers from Terregensis

If his father decide to get a new wife, he will accept it.

If his little brother Reynash or little sister Momoko's life are in danger..... He will save them, even if it means he will sacrifice his life for them.

Denki open his eyes and gasp. He turns around in anxiously, and distress from his night terror, to look at his alarm clock. 2 AM, in display, glow red on the alarm clock. He turn back to supine position, close his eyes to pretend that he is sleeping. 2:06 AM it said on the alarm clock. His chest is squeeze tight and he scream internally. He regret skipping yoga frequently in his routine. He shouldn’t have rely only just the Chandra Bhed Pranayama. With a groan, Denki rise out of bed, then walk out of his bedroom and start walking down the hallway. He enter the bathroom to open the mirror to see the medicine cabinet. Denki grabs the capsule of Benzodiazepines. He open the cap to take a pill, but then he hesitates. A frown is form on his lips. He realizes he been taking this for three days, and he develops a tolerance to this medicine. The Chemical X Super and Inhuman lineaged Vampire puts the sleeping medication back into the medicine cabinet, and take Kali phosphoricum instead, he then put that away, and close the mirror. He left the bathroom to climb down the stairs, and heads for the kitchen. He flicks the light switch to turn on the light. Denki grabs the door to the refrigerator to take out a bottle container of tart cherry juice and baked methi mathri (fenugreek crackers) from the pantry to have a morning snack to slump down on the couch. Perhaps, he will doze off sleeping on this couch is what Denki thought as he pour the tart cherry juice into the glass, reminding him of the blood he drank from a horse. He cannot drink human blood, even though it is the crucial part in being a vampire. Going to the blood bank to get blood pouches is unethical because there are those who need blood to do a blood transfusion to survive. Plus, he doesn’t really want to be a part of the murder spree in Townsville, revolving around feral vampires. Denki’s eyes are widen when he saw that the glass is now overflowing with the tart cherry juice. Denki grits his teeth out of frustration because he made a mess. He shouldn’t be making messes! Only looking after and cleaning someone else’s mess. And he is so forgetful now! All because of that stupid insomnia and vampirism are impacting his life. But most of all….

“Why is living alone is so hard?” He said to himself.

The next morning, Denki woke up on the couch, drownzy but still awake. His eyes are burning, his pyjamas stained with tart cherry juice, looking like someone assaulted him by throwing their juice at him, and crackers and his wolf plushies are scattered on the floor. Denki’s body got up on its own, as if he is a zombie and his mind is autopilot.
