Denki tilted his head, staring at Headmistress Elodie and Professor Tormenta, who are expressing a concern look plastering on their face. The latent inhuman/Chemical X Super Hybrid is sitting down in the staff room for a meeting on Saturday, discussing about the Wednesday’s night vampire attack in the P.O.I.N.T. Prep Boys’ Dormitory as he was the one whose took part in the Night Watch. Denki stays silence as she take a moment to replay the memory of another attack of vampires at P.O.I.N.T. Prep. Denki was put in charge to evacuate the boys to the safe house. However, he get between the children and the children watch as Denki got bitten by a vampire. Reynash and Soren, Tormenta’s son are among the boys to witness his eldest brother get bitten by a vampire to keep them safe.

“I don’t understand, why didn’t Denki use his powers to defends them off?” Reynash told Professor Tormenta about this. Tormenta’s eyes are narrowed at Denki when he declined that he was bitten by a vampire. Did he lose his memory after passing out from blood loss, or does this vampire have this ability to erase his memory after sucking his blood? Good thing he wasn’t turn into a vampire as he is not showing any signs of turning.

“I see, you’re sure you don’t recall being bitten?”

Denki nod. “I swears on my heart, I never recall being bitten. The last thing I know was lying in the hospital bed after I evacuated my little brother and the other male students.”

He let out a sigh and frown. “I’m sorry, it must have been the head trauma I have gotten that I don’t recall this event and my mind is actually still blurry….”

Elodie frowns for Denki because he volunteered to teach the disciples of Strength and Wisdom in the wrong time. This boy have been through a lot. Protecting India all by himself for six years alone, despite having other Indian alumni superheroes trained by Pan-Asian School for the Unusually Gifted, the school Denki graduated from. Even though she is the headmistress, she could tell that his hero’s journey is taking a toll on him.

“By the way Professor McKnight, is your son, Soren doing well? I hope he is well.”

Tormenta hummed.

“Thanks you for your concerns, however I cannot disclosed any information to you. Not yet at this moment,” Tormenta informed.

“You’re welcome and noted.”

Meanwhile, Reynash is sitting on his bed at the the guest room of Nergal Junior’s home in Neo Riot City since the boys’ dormitory is closed because of the vampire attacks. However instead of living at his home back in Townsville, he’s staying with Nergella’s father, Nergal Junior for a while now, under Denki’s request. Questions are swirling around in his head after what happen. He hope that his friends, such as Saturn is all right. He cannot believe that there are vampire infestation occurs in P.O.I.N.T. Prep, this is why he doesn’t want any supernatural to be involved in his life. Supernatural is the reason his mom disappear from his life and turning his life upside down. He didn’t wants to be watching over Nergella to begins with! Reynash hears his cellphone vibrating on the nightstand. He let out an frustrated sigh, it could be his sisters, Momoko and Ashanti texting him on WhatsApp, on their father’s behalf (because he blocks him) to see if he and Denki were alright.

Just then, he hears a knock on the guest room’s door.

“Nergella, if that’s you, I am still not in a good mood to talks to you.”

“……This is your Ex-Uncle,” Nergal Junior replied. “I just wanted to know if you wants to play soccer outside with the Nergalings. I do not wants you to be stuck in this room all day. It’s an offer. Not a demand by the way.”

“I don’t care,” Reynash talked back to him.

“So you rather end up like me then?” Nergal Junior replied.

“I am not like you! I have normal friends,” Reynash barked. “I know that I can goes outside and have fun whenever I wants. I am not some child whose follow orders. Just go away!”

“Pre-teens,” Nergal Junior thought. He left Reynash alone. If Reynash said he can choose to go out, he believes him. Perhaps he could send his sister, Negona to keep an eyes on him but primarily to goes out to have fun for herself.

Also if you wants to know what a ‘Sapphire’ is it is a vampire whose is immune to daylight but weak against darkness. In the Lunaverse, Sapphires are rare because they are endangered vampire subrace. His special Chemical X power is turning into a spider. His spider form is based on the Evarcha culicivora.

which Lunaverse oc is the most affectionate? is this just to their partner, or to their friends and family, too? do they avoid pda, or simply not care?

Nergella is the most affectionate OC of mine of them all. Thanks to her mothers giving Nergella the best healthy lifestyle they can bring to her. She does not have a partner yet, so for now it is just her family and friends. Nergella used to show her affectionate side to Destiny, however after one incident, Nergella is forced to be separate apart from her cousin because she lost an innocent part of her and was left traumatized by this event. Nergella simply does not care about PDA. She is known to give out hugs to her close friends, such as Hekatrina O’Lantern, Klarissa Loud, Kaizo, Rin Beetles, Junebug Noceda, and Royal Chang-X.

Nergella does show other ways of affectionate, such as giving hair care to her cousin, Aurora, helping her mothers out with household chores, her cooking and baking (she enjoy baking and cooking with her mothers, grandfather, Destiny, and Denki), and giving gifts to Momoko, such as the magically handcrafted stuffed animals and plushies house for her birthday.

For Denki What is their darkest childhood memory?

.......Wow, ok then. I will tell you his darkest childhood memories he have.

Warnings: Kidnap + hostage, animal death, bullying, and transgender hate crime are mention. So if anyone is reading this, avoid it. This ask is a fictional character in a fictional next gen verse created by @princess-lunalu. The verse contains serious topics and themes so be warn.

It was suppose to be a great memorial trip for the Deols to the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Goa. (Denki love birds. His father gave him a book about birds on his 8th birthday and give facts about them. The Deol Family used to have a pet parrot too.) Denki would have get to see woodpeckers, sandpipers, cormorants, white egrets, malabar trogons and drongos. However they die out, and the surviving newborn chicks are quickly transfer to reservoir because the usage of modern mobile phones, from which the radiation affected the brains of birds and caused mass deaths. (Since the technology are advancing, cities like Townsville and Mumbai are advanced and alot of tech companies like telecom.) There was court investigation on the mass deaths of the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary's Birds, and the investigation ound no violations because telecom companies reduced signal levels prior to government tests to conceal wrongdoing. Denki was heartbroken over what happened. That why Denki is a huge support on having less cell towers in Townsville and eliminate excess cell towers in Mumbai to reduce and control cell phone radiation and ensure that technology does not threaten the lives of living beings. It is why Denki would cancel any electronic his siblings and cousins are using to limits their screentime because he is afraid their health will get worst by the radiation. He is the one to be worry about their health. For example, if he seen Destiny getting headaches when going out and find out that Destiny is staring at the computer screen for too long that he cancel the computer and try to commits her into outdoor activities and reading.

When Momoko was born and Denki was six, they were kidnapped and held as hostages by none other than Lord Balarama, a villain who escape from the heroes rounding up almost all the villains in the world (like Vlad Masters) & crime mob boss well feared and known in India's mob circles for assassinating all the affilated crime bosses in India. They been held in a dark room with no windows and only a chair and crib for two whole weeks. They would have been goners if his parents, Aunt Bubbles, Neel Shaara, Debrii (Deborah Fields), and Indian Taskforce saving them. After his arrest, Lord Balamaja lost his affiliated territories and those who are connected to him either disappear or arrested too. Momoko does not remeber this because she was only a baby, but Denki who moved on from this childhood trauma, will be scare of being in a dark and small space.

When Momoko gotten bullied at one point just because she of her identity of being transfemale. At one point when they threw stones at her, Denki beaten up her bullies till his prosthetic hands are covered in blood. It was after he gave Momoko an advice to take action and be strong, he cannot stand her crying and felt that she did not fully accept it at all. Do not worry the bullies are alive, they just learnt their lesson and bullied Momoko less when Denki isn't with her.

In honor of April Writing Prompt Challenge hosts by @thepaladincosplays. Here is my answer to the first writing prompt. I thought long and hard for this.

To Denki Deol, Mumbai, India is consider a safe place for him and his family. He thought India already have enough protection because only his parents were around. Drinking chai tea together, his mother, Buttercup giving Denki pointer on his punching skills, and family's bike riding. Celebrating Diwali and Pongal together, including with their entire relatives are rememberable too.

But some events change his life forever have destroyed his entire childhood.

His mother disappeared in the line of duty, stones were throw at Momoko because of her gender identity when she was a child, Ashanti's dream of living in America. They lead to Dinesh to take his siblings to live in America.

15 years old Denki volunteer to take the mantle of Grid, volunteer of passing Dinesh's promise to him (The promise is to never leave his hometown ever again and protect the people in his community from any threats). Thus, Denki live with his paternal grandparents and aunt for the next six lonely years of his life.

Denki knew exactly what he had, Denki never thought he lose it all by one single decision his father made. It is lonely that his own family choose to moves to Townsville, America and not stay in Mumbai, India. For what? More career opportunities as a hero? Freedom? They can do that here.

He feels like his father only care about his daughters and youngest son more than him. In short, he felt betrayed when he decide for the rest of his family to moved to Townsville when India needed the original Grid the most; A self-promise Dinesh broke that he made long ago. He pushed pass these feelings and bottled them up. And distance himself from his maternal relatives in America, and secretly his own family until at his current age, 21.

India wasn't the same because it isn't his safe place or his home because his family aren't there. His brain bragging him that he could do better that make India feels safe for Momoko. He supports the Transgender communities in India and raise money and help out, because he wish for India to be a safe place for them, including his sister, Momoko. He appear in talk shows and explain how he thankful of his parents raising him and talk good about his family in America, so that a rumor of his father abandoning his son won't be spread.

Denki still remains regressing his emotions and decide his family never lose what they have. He is all grown up. They got everything, especially when his sisters get what they always wanted. Safety and comfort in expressing for Momoko & the American Dream for Ashanti.

If Momoko wants to have powers, he will books an appointment and take her to see the Genetic Council to for a check up and able to obtain superpowers from Terregensis

If his father decide to get a new wife, he will accept it.

If his little brother Reynash or little sister Momoko's life are in danger..... He will save them, even if it means he will sacrifice his life for them.

It is summer vacation time at the city of Townsville. At the beach side, Denki is putting up the parasol by driving it deep into the sand and opening it up. Then unroll the beach towel and laid it down on the sand. While Reynash was relaxing on his beach towel.

Denki turns to face Reynash to tell him to put on sunblock, only to see his little brother is spraying a bottle of sunblock on his arms and rubs it gently back and forth on his hands. Reynash notice his big brother looking at him. He cross his arms and grumble. He have spend a lot of time outside for someone who is a son of an Indian engineer-turned-superhero whose own a tech/EPCM company and a brother of two superheroes. Well actually the brother of one active super heroine because his eldest brother decide to take a break from his hero career and got a job at P.O.I.N.T. Prep because of his condition and now have another one.

“I told you I can do this myself.” Reynash said in Tilan.

“I’m just making sure you don’t miss a spot.” Denki reply back to him in Tilan.

“Well you should try hanging out in the shade.”

“… I am not so sure Reynash,” said Denki as he fidget the Persian Lapis Lazuli ring in a chain around his neck with his metal hand. This jewelry is protecting him from perishing.

Ever since he became a vampire, he got help from the teacher of the Charisma Program, Tormenta McKnight to help adjust to his new life as a vampire since there is no cure of vampirism where someone be perish at nighttime. Even though the vampire that bitten him is not a Sapphire, but have carry that recessive gene.

Both him and Reynash taught about vampires from Tormenta too at the best of her ability. However, Tormenta have left P.O.I.N.T. Prep a month before the last day of school because of the peace treaty between the vampires and witches is broken.

“It’s just that being in the sunlight for so long is negatively affect your skin. I am worry…. That your paranoia on the darkness, such as the shade is affecting your sanity,” Said Reynash.

He’s right, he did spend his time in India for his whole life in the sunlight and intense heat, until now. He never thought of protecting himself from the UV light, plus now that he have protection from the darkness thank to this enchantment from the jewelry given to him. He should be fine. Right?

They hears galloping from the beach shore. The two brothers look up to see a warnicorn is the one galloping. They are confuse to why a ‘unicorn’ is here until they saw who is riding it. It is Asahi. Asahi have the warnicorn slow down and stop to see the two Deol brothers.

“Hey Reynash!” Asahi greeted. “Do you and your big brother wants to goes warnicorn surfing with me, Sarah-May, Kaizo, and my moms? We have two more! We can teach you!”

Denki and Reynash looks at one another. Reynash then looks at the Ex-Xiaolin Cambion Monk of Fire. Reynash shrugged. “If you wants to go, I can participate to see if I like it.”

“Sure,”

Suddenly two warnicorns and warnicorn riders are galloping pass Asahi. Asahi gasped and glares at the two.

“HAHAHAHAH! Suck on this Asahi! You’re in last place!!” Said Kaizo.

“Come on Asahi! You need to catch up to us!” Said Sarah-May.

“Grrr Kaizo, you’re on!” Said Asahi. She tugs on the leash and let out a battle cry. The warnicorn squeal and lift himself up. “HIHIIN!”

The water splash as the two of the warnicorn’s horse legs landed and start galloping where Asahi is trying to catch up on the two Xiaolin Monks on the race to the Diaz Residence.

‘They seem to be having fun.’ Denki thought.

The Liberty League Headquarters, the place where members of the Liberty League, Bea Grey aka Liberty Belle, Bishop Plutonium the second-in-command, Lucius Vreedle aka The Red Gunner, Ivy Layla Thrall aka Gardenia, and Chad Ferris.

Just like Liberty, they stand for freedom it stands for standing up from oppressive restrictions and stand for hope. Even though the Liberty League members are new beings thriving to become the symbols of hope. One certain member is clinging on to her former self despite not a child anymore.

In the garden, Ivy is working on the garden where she is growing things under suggestions by the children who came to the headquarters on the last tour. The task she is doing in the garden is harvesting. Ivy plucking tomatoes and put them in a cartel to give away to the Townsville's Soup Kitchen. Ivy hums as she plucks. Ivy is glad to see a familiar face in the last tour, Asahi Diaz, the daughter of Kimiko and Margo Diaz. She had not seen her since the attack, an explosion incident in Phoenix Academy that cause many students to lose their life and those who survive were left with trauma and a disability. She and Asahi are among them. Asahi losing her hearing, which was her mother's take Asahi out of that school, after almost losing their only child the second time.

As for Ivy, she lost her leg. Ivy looks at the botanical prosthetic she made with the help of her coven. The buds finally bloom, sprouting to reveal red roses. Though, her best friend’s cousins lose someone they hold dear. Denki lost Rui, his sidekick as a Phoenix Academy student who came to India from abroad. Ashanti with her friend, Marcy, a member of The Green Lantern Corp. It was so devastating for them that it negatively impacts their Chemical X Super powers. Being part human made of Chemical X and spices means you need to love as fuel to power you up and a important factor to your lifespan.

Ivy feels so sorry for the Deol Siblings that she sent gifts to them. The Deol Family is consider the bodyguards for their extended family, The Utonium Family, they deserve a reward for their efforts. To some people, it must be worrisome for Ivy to be concerned for her leader and best friend best friend who’s concerned for her cousins’ well-being. And what can she say, she is a kind and selfless girl who wouldn’t say no to her friend and her mom, who also happen to be her headmistress too, in taking a task for them and be there for them. Though it can be tiring sometimes. Scratch that, often since she is a trusted ally and prove her loyalty to them many time.

Ivy’s mind wanders off as she looks down at her prosthetic, when suddenly a presence of someone else came to the garden.

"Your garden is impressive." Bishop complimented.

Ivy turns to see Bishop. Ivy smiles at the Chemical X Alchemist. "Thanks."

Bishop notice that the tomatoes from the tomato plants are waving at him. He rubs his eyes to make sure he is not hallucinating.

"Are the tomatoes waving at me?" Bishop asked startling.

Ivy nods in hesitate. She uses magic to grow those tomatoes in great prosperity. From watering the tomatoes with water magic, to using light magic as an alternative to sunlight, to using her plant magic as fertilizers. “Yeah, they do that. You should probably wave back. They get angry if you don’t.”

Ivy gulp as she saw the tomatoes glaring at Bishop.

Bishop waves the tomatoes around, heeding Ivy's warning. The tomatoes are docile now. Bishop notices Ivy.

“What can I do for you Bishop?” Ivy asked the Chemical X Alchemist. “Do you want me and Lucius to continue where we left off on our project?”

It is true that he has been going through some hiccups with backfiring on the user in the trial and error. But at least the execution is successful, just not effective in their design. The combination of his Chemical X-and-Earth Hybrid Alchemy, Ivy’s Witch/Wizard Hybrid Magic, and Lucius’ engineering skills to create their own abomination mechanic assets cannot perfect Abomination techs made by the Witch Magic and Engineering of Blight Industries from the Boiling Isles Dimension.

“Well, that is not important right now, Vice-Principal Sheldon Lee messages me if the report on the covens you investigated and researched is finished,” said Bishop.

Ivy nods as she manifested her report through magic, and giving her report to the second-in-command. Bishop accepts the report and reads it.

“Have you mitigated any issues in your involvement with the hero group, our classmates, on dealing with the vampire attacks, Ivy?” Bishop asked, flipping pages and scanning the paragraphs Ivy typed like a college student.

“Yes. If you turn to page 13, you will see that thanks to the increase of vampire-related deaths in Townsville, both at day and night, the witches in my coven decide to cut back on the production and conspicated enchanted amethyst and lapis lazuli jewelry for the vampires as the first step of distance themselves from them,” said Ivy, letting out a sad sigh. “A bad way to prevent vampire attacks. Honestly, these witches only looking after themselves since their reputation is at risk because the feral vampire attacks are affecting them, without thinking about the peace treaty. Although, I don't blame them because some of the victims are actually witches.”

Bishop is silent as he stares down at her report. Witch Enchanted Lapis Lazulis and Enchanted Amethysts allows vampires to walk into the daylight without perishing. Plus the peace treaty Ivy mentioned refers to the one made by the retired hero, Tormenta McKnight.

“I see, then perhaps that the witches that the feral vampires kills were faewitches?”

Ivy flinch when Bishop mentioned that term. Faewitches, humans who been granted magic from fairies through their loyalty to their patron fairy, whether if the fairy is a demoted Angel or a demon, fairy from this planet, or a day fairy/night fairy/dream fairy from their respective fairy dimension. Then she takes a deep breath to calm herself down. The witches have been involved with the war between fairies and vampires, taking any side that considers the winning side, until the World Dragon Council gets involved and stop the war to prevent the war from becoming a very tragic disaster spreading by more bloodshed, famine, and diseases.

“Exactly Bishop,” said Ivy. “You should submit this report to Vice Principal Lee, so he can pass it on to Captain America and Stella.”

A thud of sadness in Ivy’s heart when she mentioned her girlfriend, Stella. Bishop notices that Ivy is hiding something by her expression is shifting.

“Is something wrong Ivy?” Bishop asked.

“No, I’m completely fine.” Said Ivy.

“You sure?” Bishop asked again.

“Yes…” said Ivy.

Bishop looks at Ivy's eyes, he can see sparkles of light in her eyes but they look false. Her eyes reminded him so much of his eyes of his former self, when he was living with his mom. There must have been a layer of trauma and self-worth issues for Ivy. It cannot just only be the tragic fire incident at Camp Green Lake and the explosion incident in Phoenix Academy. For now, Bishop let Ivy be because perhaps, Bea knows about some things Ivy is going through. Ivy resume to plucking some tomatoes.

'That was odd.' Ivy thought.

That night in Ivy's room at The Liberty League Headquarters, Ivy hold a rock at the palm of her hand. She clenched to the rock. Then she stares on her desk to what appears to be scrap metal.

“Geologize gemologize,”

A white glowing light emitted her hand, as she unclenched it. She transform a rock into a Persian Lapis Lazuli. Ivy use her hand to bend and shape the thick piece of metal into a ring. Then she cast a protection charm to the ring. It is done. She manifest a small portal and drops it in. Hopefully that she did a good job helping out the Utonium Family. Ivy leans back on her wheelchair. It looks like she needs to spend time in the garden again to destress. Though going shopping and having a spa day would have been nice, but then she remember to pay off her credit card debt the last times she went out shopping and taking spa days. Ivy let out a sigh. Another secret errand done for the Utonium Family. Ivy goes grabs her cellphone on her desk and opens up WhatsApp. She starts messaging her friend, Alice-Evans talking to her about her day, without spilling any confidential informations to The Liberty League and other topics. Then she close the app and calls her mother and father to keep them up-to-date about herself.

“You got the hang of walking with your leg prosthetic?” said Rose.

Ivy nods. “The doctor says I will be able to go back to swordsmanship as long as I practice my position, stances, and poses.”

“They are all the same thing though,” said Nigel.

“Oh…, yeah, you're right.” Ivy admitted. “So dad, are you and Mr. Long are going to attend the meeting with the vampire clans and the covens to discuss the dilemma? It is going to be serious, so it should be better to have professionals like you."

"Indeed Ivy. Hopefully Ambassador McKnight will be attending too."

Of course, Tormenta is responsible for the peace treaty between the vampires and witches.

As Ivy listens to his father talking, telling her what she need to do, Ivy turns her wheelchair around to see Bea. "Oh dad, I will have to calls you back. Bea is here. It's nice talking to you. Good bye."

Ivy hangs up and switch off her cell phone.

“Oh, hello Bea,” Ivy greeted, clutching her cell phone.

"Ivy, who're you talking to?" Bea asked.

"I was talking to my parents, especially my father related to the attacks of feral vampires in the city. I-I-I was going to contact Vice-Principal Lee afterward, about a meeting my father to see the witches and vampires with the Dragon Representative of America, Jake and one of the supernatural world's ambassadors.... May I also request him to attend for security watch?"

Bea thinks for a moment as she stares at her best witch friend. The leader wants to have a conversation with her, however seeing the efforts Ivy have put to help her girlfriend and her teammates, showed that she have a lot of plates in her hands. Maybe for another day.

"Sure, but on one condition," Bea accepted. "Only on the sideline, not in the frontline."

Ivy nod. "Okay," she said in a flat tone and giving her a thumb up.

Junebug’s eyes are widen then she steps back for it, then she is now on the floor and is still moving away from Denki. Denki’s eyes are widen when he saw Nergella’s classmate/roommate/friend.

“Junebug!?!”

Nergella gets inside the beach house to checks up on Junebug, and to see what is going. She freezes up as she saw her cousin, Denki.

“You’re a vampire?!”

Denki assumed it was Reynash, but he was wrong. He should have not put the spare key under the rug. Now Junebug is able to enters the beach house without breaking and entering. Denki wipe the blood from his lips after consuming a blood bag.

“Is it not obvious?” Said Denki. “And why aren’t you at school?”

Denki glares at the P.O.I.N.T. Prep student, he cannot believes Nergella took Junebug along. He have to lecture her about it later. Right now, he need to not make this situation escalate even further.

“But you’re all big and hairy! You’re obsessed with the moon… you have wolf plushies!”

Junebug and Nergella see the wolf plushies laying down on the couch.

Big and hairy? He did make sure to shave himself once a week. Plus, she should see how tall his recently estranged sister, Ashanti is. She is bigger than him. He ain’t obsessed with the moon, he will perish at night-time if he expose himself to the darkness. As for the wolf plushies. They are gifts from his fiancée. Well an ex-fiancée if she find out he’s a vampire and broke off the engagement.

Junebug notices the shock look on Nergella’s face. Denki is one of them due to the fact he introduced as a valuable member of Inhumankind. Junebug remembers when P.O.I.N.T. Prep was under attack by feral vampires. He is turns into one. Junebug and Nergella see the healed scars on his neck. They both frown. Denki slowly close the refrigerator, and continues sucking on the blood bag. Junebug see the signs of tensions. So much tensions in the superhero staff of Wisdom. It can affect him mentally. Nergella use her tendrils to picks Junebug back right up onto the floor. Junebug dusted herself.

“Does Uncle Dinesh, Cousin Momoko, Cousin Ashanti, and Cousin Reynash knows about this?” Nergella asked. Denki flinched and does not say anything when she said that. She is quick to ask this question of all the questions she could have ask. One thing for sure, only Reynash and Aunt Blossom know about this. However, he doubts Aunt Blossom would not keep it a secret and tell them anyway.

“Nergella, you are unintentionally making your cousin uncomfortable,” Junebug whispered to Nergella.

Nergella’s eyes are wide, and see a silence and uncomfortable Denki. Nergella feels ashamed for this. “I’m so sorry Denki, you don’t have to answers it.”

“It’s fine. Honestly, Reynash and Aunt Blossom know,” said Denki. “I wants to ask why you two are not at your dorm? Did you two came here to have fun at the beach?”

“No, I was worry about you,” said Nergella. That was a lie.

Denki see that it is getting late. He’s been grading the test for the students who hand in their test to him. He has loses the time. Denki wonders if Reynash is reaching his limit in staying with Nergella and her father, Nergel Junior. Denki got out of his seat, used a key to unlock to open the drawer of the filing cabinet. He put away the graded papers in the filing cabinet, close it, and locks it. Denki turns off the light from classroom and close the door as he step out. He locks the door, finally left the classroom to go to the hallway, then down the flight of stairs, and now at the school main entrance. He exit the school main entrance to step into the darkness. Smokes coming out of him, he sniffs burning flesh. His eyes are wide and eyeball bulging. His pupils shrinks. He screams in intense pain. He scrambled back to the school building, hoping for light to stay on. Denki landed on the floor, rolling on the mat to extinguish the flames. Once the flames disappear, Denki is now on all four. His breathing level is off-the-chart, as he frantically gasps for air after receiving a brush with death. His heart… Did not beats at all. Denki clench his chest, closing his eyes trying to hears a heart beats. He praying to the gods that his heart is working. That he’s still alive.

Denki sweats. This isn’t good. Not good at all. His clothes are burnt and his skin is charred too. Denki screaming internally. Why are bad things keeping happening to him? Now he has another issue to discuss with his therapist (unless this therapist is untrustworthy and calls a vampire hunter to end his life). Worst of all, drinking the blood of non-humans (duck, chicken, pig, sheep, and goat. He is not going to drink the blood of a cow) to survive. Denki calms himself down, there is no time to be bitter and thinking about his future situation right now. He needs to figure out his current situation: How will Denki be able to go home and to face Reynash in his vampirism condition (that prevents him from walking late at night)?

The light from the ceiling lights flickering. Denki looks up and stares at it longingly. Wishing to be in the light with company of friends and family, not in the darkness alone. He remembers the day when his cousin, Nergella demonstrated her ability to use magic through glyphs. Honestly, Nergella doing magic reminds him of the cousin whose Nergella adores the most. (No, no, and no! Focus Denki! Focus! Start thinking about yourself for once. You need to be a little selfish!). One glyph in particular caught up to him, giving him an idea.

What was the symbol again? Denki frowns, recollecting the day he spent time with his cousin. Denki take out his pen from the chest pocket of his burnt shirt. Denki saw scrap paper lying down on the floor. Thanks goodness that either the janitor has not clean up the main entrance interior of P.O.I.N.T. Prep. Denki crawls to get it. Then, Denki changes to a sitting position. He removes the melted cap, draws out the pen ink from his pen onto a piece of paper. Denki stares at the glyph he drew from memory. He touches the glyph to activate it. He is not someone whose relies on magic. Only relying his own strength from within. So this is his first try. He watched as the paper transmuted into a ball of light.

The floating orb of yellow light floats upward, Denki touch the ball of light, automatically stand still. Unlike those who use magic for the first time, who are amazing and are full of excitement, Denki frown despite being bathe in the warm light. Denki got up then proceed to exit the school building to walks, while carrying around the orb of light, from here to the parking lot to drive to the warp pad. So he can teleport back home, the beach house. He does not want Reynash see the current state he is now in. Reynash will become very worry, but worst of all, their father will take Reynash away from him. Denki doesn’t wants Reynash to goes back to his old life again where his freedom is limited. All he have to do is goes inside the house to freshen up himself.

Denki gets inside his car, Mahindra Reva e2O, an Indian electric four-seater car. Denki pull out the handle to open up the glove box. He ravages through the documents to pull out his cell phone. Denki dials Reynash’s phone number, telling him that he will be running late due to personal reasons, and ensure he will pick him up from Neo Riot City.

As Reynash listen to the other end of the phone call, Reynash gritted his teeth and angry growl. Reminisce of the night that a vampire lunges at him and his classmates, only for his older brother to sacrifice himself to save them. Thanks to that, it is now a little different in his life. He is going to kill that bastard for possibly turning his own brother into a vampire. Reynash glares down at the crumbled up Denki's DNA Test Result Report on his desk. But first... He needs answers.
