Connection Description:

Jasmine St. Claire grew up in Boston being raised by her biological father, a Dark Coven leader named Silas Chamberlain, and her mother, Violet St. Claire. Silas was hellbent on power and wanted his coven to go down in history for surpassing that of the reapers. He ended up putting a great deal of pressure on Jasmine's shoulders, molding her into the dark magic prodigal daughter her so desired.

She started of with pain infliction. Self harm tw hurting herself in minor ways to leave victims her father had hand selected withering on the ground having suffered excruciating pain and agonizing migraines. Her dark magic training would only progress from there with Silas using psychological means to get Jas to do as he said.

One of these methods was to take the life of your character. Your character would have grown up in Silas' dark coven and would have been Jas' best friend as a kid. The two of you were thick as thieves, always inseparable, but it was a mistake on Jas' part to get close to you. Silas saw how she cared for you and used it to his advantage, killing you in front of her. In a fit of tears, she brought you back from the dead not knowing what the consequences for such an act would be until later on. After the night you died, she continued to perform the spells Silas asked. She brought one person back before her mother had enough and planned to run away with Jas.

The Council had been after Silas. They wanted his head for having exposed what he was to a handful of humans and, if they didn’t take his head, the hunters soon would. He needed to buy himself time and so he escaped his death sentence from the Council by getting himself locked up behind human bars instead. Safe behind his cell, he would be able to continue to lead his Dark Coven and operate within the other criminal organizations he was tied to. But, without her father’s looming presence, her mother and her left. They only made it a few hours away before death came to claim her mother's life. The price finally paid for the spell she had performed to save you.

It's up to you what happened to your character after Jas and her mother left the coven.  You could have continued on as a coven member/Silas' lapdog, fell in and out of jail performing tasks for him, or your could have broken off yourself and tried to move on with your life always wonder what had become of Jas, only knowing that she was alive from the occasional wounds that would magically appear on your body given how your lives were still tethered together.

But, whatever happened, you managed to find your way back to LC. During New Years Eve, the Alpha bite Silas Chamberlain who had escaped out of prison to pay his children a visit. Now, a wolf, Silas' coven's bonds were broken. But, that hardly will stop him. The newly turned wolf is building a pack and when he returns to town he will be looking to find anyway to hurt Jas and the Alpha who did this. Your character once again finding themselves in the middle of family drama they never asked to be part of.

PLOT IDEA 1: (based on NO 309): muse a is getting pressured by their parents to get married because if they get married before their cousin it means they will get the family business like their grandparents promised. whoever gets married first will own the company. muse a eventually gives in and agrees to go on a date with the other that their parents picked. muse b on the other hand is getting pressured by their mom because they just want to see them being happy and have their own little family.

muse a & muse b were supposed to meet someone else that night but muse a has the same name as the person muse b was going to meet, so they accidentally end up spending the night together & the next morning they agree to never meet again.

3 months… later muse b finds out she’s pregnant and muse a just got engaged to someone else, THE ANGST

dila   was   2   when   her   twin-siblings   were   born.   she   had   a   hard   time   sharing   her   parents.

as   dila   got   older,   she   took   on   more   responsibility   for   her   siblings,   especially   during   her   parents'   arguments,   often   comforting   and   distracting   them   during   difficult   moments.

she   turned   eight   and   her   father   didn’t   show   up   to   her   birthday   party.   she   had   waited   and   refused   to   blow   the   candles   on   her   birthday   cake   until   he’d   show   up.   but   he   didn’t.   later   that   night,   when   her   mother   had   tucked   her   three   kids   in   bed,   she   overheard   her   father’s   voice   from   downstairs.   she   made   her   way   out   her   room   and   sat   on   the   stairs   as   she   listened   to   their   argument.   she   heard   it   all.   her   father   had   cheated   on   her   mother   and   he   had   another   child   with   another   woman.   happy   birthday,   dila.

after   overhearing   her   parents'   conversation,   di   assumed   an   even   more   significant   role   in   caring   for   her   siblings,   as   her   mother   distanced   herself   to   not   show   her   kids   how   upset   or   heartbroken   she   was.

AGE   11   －   20  :

her   mother's   law   firm   (which   was   a   law   firm   that   established   by   her   grandfather)   is   one   of   turkey's   best   law   firms,   but   her   mother   had   gotten   an   amazing   offer   to   grow   her   law   firm   even   more   and   she   took   the   opportunity.   so   the   four   of   them   moved   to   lakeview   when   dila   had   turned   just   15   and   the   twins   were   12   by   then.

dila's   high   school   experience   was   more   positive   than   she   had   expected,   with   amazing   grades   and   a   bunch   of   friends.

she   had   a   few   boyfriends   through   the   years   but   as   soon   as   the   subject   of   ‘future’   popped   up,   or   ‘meeting   parents’   she   usually   always   had   an   excuse   to   excuse   herself.   or   she’d   just   immediately   change   the   subject.   or   was   just   straight   up   honest   with   them   and   mention   that   she   didn’t   saw   a   future   with   them   just   yet   or   maybe   never   would.   it   was   painful,   but   the   cold   hard   truth,   right?

however,   at   the   age   of   twenty,   she   met   a   guy,   and   they   started   dating.   they   seemed   to   share   similar   interests,   which   made   dila   feel   more   comfortable   around   him.   they   went   out   at   night,   laughed   at   each   other's   jokes,   even   if   they   were   really   bad.   the   topic   of   'their   future'   didn't   really   come   up   in   their   conversations   until   she   turned   twenty-two,   and   he   asked   her   to   move   in   with   him.   she   was   a   bit   hesitant   about   the   idea.   but   on   the   other   hand,   she   liked   the   thought   of   gaining   a   bit   more   independence   without   her   mother   constantly   telling   her   what   to   do.   so,   she   agreed   to   move   in,   and   a   year   later,   she   graduated.

AGE   21   －   32  :

after   graduating   she   had   a   few   different   jobs;   tba.   until   she   started   working   at   her   mother's   law   firm.

at   the   age   of   twenty-four,   dila   began   working   at   her   mother's   law   firm.   however,   she   started   in   a   non-lawyer   role   because   she   lacked   experience.   she   just   did   some   paperwork   and   administrative   tasks   for   her   mother   until   she   gained   enough   experience   to   work   as   a   divorce   attorney.

everything   appeared   to   be   going   well   until   a   month   or   two   ago   when   dila   and   her   boyfriend   decided   to   part   ways.   things   weren't   really   working   out   as   they   did   before;   they   were   arguing   a   lot.   plus,   the   fact   that   dila   is   way   too   scared   of   'official'   commitment,   like,   getting   married,   added   to   the   strain.   dila   was   just   overwhelmed   with   her   emotions,   especially   because   she   had   many   cases   involving   divorces,   which   naturally   made   her   reflect   a   lot.   his   proposal   in   that   very   moment   to   her   didn't   make   the   situation   any   easier   for   her.   but   what   will   make   this   separation   between   the   two   even   more   difficult   is   the   fact   that   she   recently   found   out   she's   pregnant.

BIO.

life was easy and simple for lyall and hope lupin. they lived in the countryside with rolling hills and a forest along the grounds. it was perfection. all that was missing was a child to share it with. they tried and tried to get pregnant but it didn't happen. it was difficult for the couple. they began to wonder if they would ever have a little one to share their love. then on a hot july morning lyall and hope found out they were expecting. and in march they welcomed their little boy, remus john lupin. their world was complete. the love in the home was overflowing. the home was as it was meant to be for years but unfortunately that wasn't meant to last.

while lyall was a joyous man at home, he was a hardened man at work. at the ministry of magic he ran into fenrir greyback. greyback had been accused of killing two muggle children but lyall knew he was a werewolf. upon his release, lyall wasn't scared to voice his opinion that greyback deserved death. this didn't go over well and fenrir exacted revenge -- a revenge that would destroy the lupin family.

one hazy night, at five years old, remus was in bed asleep, dreaming of all things magical. it was heavenly. however, he was abruptly awoken by shattering glass and a large, imposing form jumping on his small body. remus was screaming, his father came in the room and tried to get the figure -- fenrir -- off his son but couldn't do it fast enough. fenrir had done his worst. he scratched remus deep within his chest, making him a werewolf. as soon as the form arrived he left. the spells lyall cast did nothing to stop the attack. he couldn't save his son, something that would be a reoccurring theme.

the lycanthropy that plagued remus and his family became a battle they fought together. they went to st. mungo's searching for help to rid him of the affliction but there was nothing to do. remus was cursed. he was now to live his life as a werewolf, having the pain of changing every month into something violent and careless -- the complete opposite of the lupin child's temperament. it was devastating to the family but llyal and hope wouldn't give up on remus. he was their son regardless of what had happened to him, no matter how hard it was.

age eleven came and it was time for remus to begin his journey at hogwarts. it was panic inducing for the family given that he was a werewolf. would he even be able to go to school considering during the full moon he became a being that could harm anyone who got in his way. with luck, headmaster dumbledore accommodated remus' condition and allowed him to go to the shrieking shack during that difficult time.

when he wasn't going through his change, remus was rather quiet in the beginning of his schooling. that is until he met his best friends: james potter, sirius black and peter pettigrew. the crew eventually became known as the marauders and did everything together, including pranks but they also cared about each other and would do anything for one another. while remus kept his books and sweaters close, he kept his friends closer. he couldn't remember ever having anyone his age care about him, let alone in the way they did. it meant the world to the young werewolf. so much so that when the three other boys found out about his affliction they became animagi so their book nerd friend wouldn't be alone during the hardest of times. they were remus' chosen brothers.

as the war began brewing, remus' heart raced. he grew even more scared. he grew to discover that werewolves were on the side of the death eaters and there he was: a werewolf. however, he didn't believe in blood purity. he believed in everyone being treated equally -- even though he felt like he could never fit into that category due to his sickness. he didn't necessarily feel torn about which side of the war he should be on but it was unnerving knowing those of his kind were on the side he couldn't bring himself to believe in. but he had to stay in his lane and be part of what he believed in -- and that was joining the order of the phoenix. there was no turning back.

both hailed from ankara, and a fairly prominent family, especially since their father was a politician and just before the outbreak had been running for president. when the world fell into chaos, the family escaped ( so they thought ) to the US. for the first couple of years they managed to hold out fine at a qz in georgia until it became overrun. ending up separated from their parents, whose fate is still unknown ( although naz can only assume to this day they got infected ) she took her sibling and basically ran for their lives. since then she'd made it her sole mission to keep them safe and taken care of to the best of her abilities. about a year ago the two found their way to novac, which has felt like the closest thing to a safe haven they've known in a long time, although naz is still incredibly vigilant when it comes to her younger sibling. their personality/job in town and anything else is completely up to you!

Connection Description:

I’m open to ideas, but this is not a romantic connection (more exes turned frenemies) and below are a few HCs I have for the character-

Your character is an ex-hunter who grew up during the late 1700s/early 1800s

They used to work down at one of the most exclusive gambling houses in the city and was hardly the type of man Meena, a young witch and member of high society should have been consorting with at the time

She fell for them, but they were also manipulating her as a hunter. One night when Meena and your character were supposed to meet up, she stumbled upon your character dying

Your character had been hunting the vampire, Theodore Moore (who would eventually become the previous Clan Leader before Meena and the Catalyst's righthand man). But, Theo gained the upper hand and took your character down

Meena ended up making a deal with Theo to save your character’s life. Only to do so, Theodore turned your character, making them now have to live on as the species they hated the most.

Your character then had to watch Meena marry the vampire who turned them to withhold her end of the deal. Immediately after, your character and Meena would have grown distant and developed a tempestuous relationship. Meena and Theo moved to Lunar Cove where Theo established the first official Clan and became one of the founding members of the town. It's up to you whether your character has been in and out of Lunar Cove over the years, begrudgingly joining the clan so that they could have access to a daylight ring, or avoided the town entirely.

But, in 2022, when the Catalyst first made an appearance, your character would have experienced a sharp pain that led them to believe the sire bond had been broken. Only to find out that Theo hadn't actually died. He was kidnapped by the Catalyst who convinced Theo to join their side.

Theo attacked the town over Fourth of July weekend of this year on behalf of the Catalyst. Meena was the one to kill him and finally sever both of your sire bonds.

With the sire bond broken, your character has returned to Lunar Cove.

I'd love to plot out how Meena and your character are around each other now & if your character ever loved Meena in the past or truly had been manipulating her in order to hunt her etc.

They could now mutually respect each other despite still harboring some resentments, they could be frenemies, they could find comfort in one another now that Theo is dead, or be butting heads within the Clan etc.

If they did genuinely have feelings for Meena at one point, they could have tried to make things work in the past before it fizzled out once more, but I don't see this connection being romantic now. I see them both having moved on, but still having a tempestuous dynamic even if they've gained respect back for each other over the years.
