Not to make everything about Buddie but ... Taylor kisses Buck because of Eddie ... because of his decision to go up the crane so nobody ELSE gets shot like Eddie did RIGHT in front of him ..... This is an ACTUAL pattern at this point . What is Buck's issue ... not in love with my straight bestfriend my ASS . You , my boy , there is NOT EVEN A WORD to say how IN LOVE you are !! You date that guy for 6 MONTHS and he probably didn't put his full heart into the relationship because he though you would've broken it FOR EDDIE BTW . Eddie HAS to tell you he's moving to Texas because you walked in and tried to snoop on his IPAD , you sabotage his house showings , ' outs ' him at work telling everyone else before Eddie was ready , and you get rid of YOUR LEASE to the FUCKING LOFT so you can then make a FAKE PROFILE AND SHOW UP TO EDDIE'S HOUSE to fucking move in !!!!!!! YOU MOVE INTO EDDIE'S HOUSE BECAUSE HE'S LEAVING AND THEN YOU FUCK YOUR FUCKING EX BECAUSE HE'S GONE AND YOU SIMPLY CANNOT STAND THAT !!! YOU ARE NOT NORMAL !!! You have to understand this is a PATTERN , Buck . You are not only in love with Eddie but every decision you've ever made , every impulse you've done without thinking , have basically always been about Eddie . You are simply obsessed and insane and co dependent as fuck to him , you've clinged onto him the second your hands met in the deal to have each others back . But guess what .. it's okay because Eddie's the EXACT same . Although most of his decisions are about Christopher because he just cannot choose between you and his son .. he can't choose joy over being a father . One day he WILL though , I'm fucking betting it . And then you will see .

Something something about the cursed mummy working at a rodeo and the connection to lassos and wrangling bulls and foreshadowing. Something something about buck wearing a moustache when he dresses up as billy boils which connects things to Eddie.

How rodeos are connected to Texas in the general psyche. The idea that Eddie needs to go and wrangle with his bull in the next episode - Helena.

That she has been constantly trying to Buck him off but he needs to hold on in order to break the curse she has been on his life - the play on Buck being a massive support to Eddie - that gives him the strength to stay on and win the fight and pen the bull.

That he needs to break free of that curse in order to transform into his true self and how the werewolf is a representation of that happening and also a foreshadowing for the shaving off of the stache

The white socks. Down and then up again, to Eddie's throat and mouth and hands as he puts the bottle back on the table. They stare at each other.

“how could eddie and buck not know they’re in love with each other?” “they’ve been in love before, ofc they would recognise the feeling” buck’s biggest love was abby and eddie’s was shannon and both relationships were filled with issues and clearly they weren’t meant for each other.

on top of that we’ve seen how both of them aren’t necessarily in tune with their feelings, especially when it comes to relationships. oliver talked about how buck in s1 had feelings he couldn’t understand when he first saw eddie, plus buck thought that him checking guys out meant nothing and it took him over 30 years to figure out he’s bi. we’re seeing now more than ever how eddie’s perception of his relationship with shannon is idealised and ryan even called him delusional (also, its been implied multiple times that he didn’t get married out of love, but did it because it felt like the right thing to do).

neither of them are experts at love and also, comphet is very much a thing. especially if you have yet to come to terms with your sexuality, comphet will make you rationalise any feelings or attractions you might have for anyone you’re not supposed to.

you don’t have to ship buddie, but some people are trying so hard to prove it could never go canon that they’re denying experiences queer people irl go through and it’s just weird.
