Defective Titles: How They Impact Property Value and Resale Opportunities
Welcome to our article on title defect solutions and their impact on property value and resale opportunities. When it comes to buying or selling real estate, one of the most critical factors that can significantly affect property value and resale opportunities is the title of the property. A property title is a legal document that establishes ownership and outlines any claims or restrictions on a property. However, not all titles are created equal, and some may have defects that can lead to a host of issues for both buyers and sellers.
In this article, we will explore what defective titles are, how they can impact property value, and the challenges they pose to resale opportunities. We will also discuss steps that can be taken to address and mitigate these issues.
What Is a Defective Title?
A defective title, in the context of real estate, is a title that is marred by legal issues, errors, or other problems that cast doubt on the property's ownership or the ability to sell it freely and unencumbered. Some common examples of defective titles include:
Encumbrances: This can include liens, mortgages, or easements that restrict the property owner's full rights to the property. These encumbrances can make it challenging to sell the property or diminish its value.
Boundary disputes: If there is an ongoing dispute with neighbors or other parties regarding the property's boundaries, it can lead to legal issues that affect the property's value and resale opportunities.
Missing heirs or unknown heirs: If the ownership history of the property is unclear, or if there are missing or unknown heirs, it can result in difficulties when selling the property.
Forgery and fraud: In some cases, a property's title may be marred by forgery or fraudulent transactions, which can have severe consequences for the current owner and potential buyers.
How Defective Titles Impact Property Value
Property value is intrinsically linked to the title's quality and the marketability of the property. Here's how defective titles can impact property value:
Reduced marketability: A property with a defective title may have limited marketability, as potential buyers may be wary of the legal issues associated with it. This can reduce the pool of interested buyers, ultimately leading to a lower selling price.
Difficulty securing financing: Lenders are typically unwilling to finance properties with defective titles, making it challenging for buyers to secure a mortgage. This can further restrict the potential buyer pool and reduce property values.
Costly legal battles: Resolving issues related to defective titles often requires legal action, which can be costly and time-consuming. Legal fees and potential settlements can significantly reduce the overall property value.
Lower resale opportunities: Properties with defective titles are less attractive to potential investors who may be interested in flipping or renting out the property. This can limit resale opportunities and potential profits for property owners.
One potential solution that can provide peace of mind for property owners is utilizing a Defective Title Bond. This type of bond can be instrumental in resolving title defects and ensuring that the property's ownership is clear and free from any encumbrances.
A defect in title can raise red flags for potential buyers and hinder the overall value of the property. Hiring a professional title search company can uncover any concealed defects and provide guidance on how to clear them efficiently.
In conclusion, addressing title issues promptly and effectively is of utmost importance when it comes to buying or selling real estate. Utilizing title defect solutions, such as title insurance or conducting a thorough title search, provides homeowners and real estate investors with the assurance that their property is free from any clouds on the title. By taking proactive measures to handle title defects, not only can individuals gain peace of mind, but they can also protect their investment and increase the chances of a successful resale. Ultimately, prioritizing the resolution of title issues will undoubtedly have a positive effect on property value and present lucrative resale opportunities for both buyers and sellers.

Okay I have another Title Tale ask because I’m obsessed and it keeps coming to my head. Though this one is definitely on the ‘sadder/darker’ side.
Why do you love her when you can have me
I genuinely have no idea where you could go with this it’s giving one sided but maybe also affair I genuinely have no idea but the title sank its claws into me and refused to let go. Can’t wait to see what you take from it.
Unrequited Regulus Black/Catarina Carrow (OFC), Regulus Black/Louise Potter (OFC).
Lady Catarina Carrow stares at the engagement announcement in the Daily Prophet, her heart shattering in her chest, rage scorching through her veins, wondering why in all of Avalon Lord Regulus has chosen to bond with a weak, defective witch who never even attended Hogwarts, when she's always been right here, loving him ardently.

Note on the Name: Messenger's name does not translate into human words. Hence, it asks Jens to call it by its title. Messenger might choose a human name with Jens' help at some point - I haven't decided yet.
Current Residence: Antarctica
Occupation: Messenger (this usually means killing to send a message)
Sexuality: Bisexual, prefers men
Physical description: Messenger is a shapeshifter, but when appearing to Jens, it takes a human form, with a mass of curly white hair, soft but androgynous features, and hazel eyes. It glows in the dark slightly and this cannot be fully suppressed no matter what form it takes.
Backstory: Messenger is an extraterrestrial being, and a part of a war between various alien species that vie for control over the course of fate. It was raised in subservience as a living weapon, under a strict code of rules governing what must be purified. It was sent to Earth to eliminate Jens when he learned too much, as an example to warn away other explorers in the Antarctic. However, it takes pity on him instead.
Powers: Messenger has the ability to visit the dreams, thoughts, and memories of other people. It can teleport. It has healing powers. It has limited abilities to manipulate the dream worlds that Jens visits when unconscious. It can shapeshift in order to gain wings, breath underwater, etc. It eats plasma.
Skills and Interests: Messenger is fascinated by cycles, patterns, and cycle breaking. It loves visual art, poetry, and history. As far as Earth's artwork goes, it has a taste for art nouveau. It loves animals. It likes to tell stories.
Personality: It is a profoundly loving, merciful being, which makes it defective by the standards of its own kind. It rebels against them in an effort to save Jens from certain doom. It is free-spirited and sometimes impulsive. It's used to waiting a long time because it is so old, but when angered, acts with swift vengeance. It knows how powerful and beautiful it is, and is a little conceited about that. It deals with the things that it has seen and has been forced to do by going numb at times.
Desires: The freedom to care for someone and bond deeply with them. Greater control over fate. A more beautiful world.
Hates: Being restrained or controlled. Seeing others restrained or controlled. Brutality against innocent creatures or people.
👁━👁━👁━👁-👁-👁
Author's Note: If you recognize Messenger from this poll I did...yep, this is the same OC! I renamed Noah to Jens.

man I am thinking about it but Zephrah is but one of the Ashari homelands, thus Keyleth is the heiress apparent of the air ashari people, the princess, and she was chosen which is cool according to the wiki even if Vilya was her mother she still had to be chosen to go on the aramente, which I wonder if she failed would her nobility pass on to the next person? Does her princesshood come from her mother or her position as tempest-incumbent? I would imagine the second one And I wonder how this stacks up legitimacy wise to the rest of Tal'dorei and Exandria proper cuz Syldor only seems super impressed by Percy even tho Syldor sucks and is a shit metric so nvm but inside her domain, her small but significant section of people, she is a la Germany during the 1700-1800s, a princess amongst the 3 other leaders of the Ashari, now it seems the Ashari governmental system is at least a little less centralized than say Tal'dorei but it still technically has Kiki as their princess now I'm making a point with this so bear with me,
And Percy, in much the same position, is, or was the second he stepped back into Whitestone, and especially showcased in TLOVM, the Big Man on Campus, the top authority, in fact he says in EP 64 to Syldor that he is of the Royal House of Whitestone, before his lil responsibility shirking ass defected to Cassandra he was the boss here, and if Whitestone is a Royal House and yet outside of Uriel's jurisdiction and his line of succession too, and Whitestone has had a Duke and a Count within it's borders as well and Percy being able to title people higher than he is, or being lower ranked than the people of those houses when they are not the main and royal House of Whitestone, is just silly and commensensically incorrect so he's higher here than duke, count, and baron, that's like principality status, one rung below Uriel's deal, a little Monaco in the Europe that is Tal'dorei. so he's a Prince, was probably the Grand Prince in the wee moments before he gave it to Cass, he's a Prince which is so cool, prince of a similarly insular people to Shepard, just like Keyleth
Keyleth is a little more involved in, to borrow from kerrick's letter, the 'gardening' of Zephrah post campaign but still she and Percy are on a very level field here which thrills the Me because it's two stressed out, very lonely and burdened babies, too young for this shit, with surprisingly good leadership skills and without either of the parents that knew how to do all this ruling stuff trying their very best to get through it all intact, Percy might took a hard left into evil demon territory for a second, but no wonder honestly that those two latched onto each other so hard, they had one other person who knew intimately the pressure the other was under, and I mean it goes even deeper truly,
They would have only began preparing Keyleth for her aramente when it became clear Vilya failed hers, years after she left, and Percy might not have been Julius or Vesper but after the massacre in the back of his mind he had to have known that when he went back he'd be in Charge for however long it took him to kill himself revenging his family, so by the time the two of them met they really were side by side with the wide gulf of Responsibility they Weren't Ready For in front of them, which makes it cuter to me that this was how Percy attempted to bond with Kiki at first prestream but like
Man, my little Royal Duo, kicking ass and taking names, Percy mighta broken the mold a little with this council but y'know I think if it were really a big deal despite Keyleth taking BH to him directly they would have had to talk to Cass and the rest of the Council first upon meeting them all so 😌 council served it's narrative purpose now my lord and lady can rule as they please, or at least Vex can which I will take to the Bank, I mean Lady De Rolo Coinmistress of Tal'dorei and her trophy husband? Absolutely (also this makes vex a princess by marriage and also it'll make Vax a PRINCE by marriage when they get him back (cuz they're gonna I choose to believe, it's what Vex deserves damnit, I refuse to be pulled from this fantasy) and he'll hate that it'll be so cute and funny)
But man this friendship, forged under the stoop of backs bowed by such responsibility set on them both far far far too young but bearing it flawlessly anyway, really is so... Percy's going to freak the fuck out when he finds out what Otohan did to her, it's gonna be so good
Their friendship man, it is so important to me. They see each other, they understand, through thick and thin and they are both broken and and a little fucked up but they still stick by each other, Keyleth rails at Percy whenever his bloodlust during the Briarwood arc gets outta control, and Percy's always there to shore Keyleth up when her charisma falls a little flat, it's a friendship built on being seen so deeply and understood in a way that only they can, even if it still isn't quite enough to mend their worse habits, even if it isn't enough to convince Percy to forgive himself then and it isn't enough for Keyleth to acknowledge that the past did happen and was horrible but the bright future is still being written. And they mirror each other sometimes, look at Percy during the Briarwood Arc vs Keyleth and Raishan, look at Keyleth seeing how poorly revenge treats Percy and yet committing to it anyway, they are so similar in so many ways. But it is enough, to be seen by each other.
also please look at this sketchingsparrow knows what I'm putting down

(Does follow a timeline, somewhat- right now all roleplays are pre-apology by default. You can specify at the start if a roleplay is pre- or post-apology if you'd like- but if you don't I'm just gonna assume it's pre-apology :> Doesn't really change too much, just small details in her behavior + how she feels about triangles and/or Gold)

(Character information under the cut!)
Bug Octennial Sisewing
Female, she/her + they/them + ae/aer
She was created to be the Yellow Hero– but they came out "defective", gray in color and without any abilities (aside from that levitation ability the other Heroes have- except, aers was very, very weak. Before her connection was restored, Bug couldn't lift anything heavier than a ballpoint pen. But, even if it was lighter than that, it did take a lot of energy out of them if it went on for too long.).
Aer caretaker, Redd, was a total bitch about it, to put it lightly.
So Bug had to put up that for the longest while– before she came across the other caretakers, and, after a while of following them around out of spite and bickering with the other Heroes (she hated them. All of them. She couldn't stand them. Every. Single. One.), she bonded and became close friends with Tsavorite.
They ended up going into a TIO form alongside the other Heroes (and Cyanide), because aer connection to the Trees of Life was so suddenly restored.
After the Corruption ended, everyone deemed it necessary to keep Bug as far away from Redd as possible, and so, Bug bounced around staying with the other caretakers and Heroes for a long while... (Which, it should probably be mentioned that they all pretty quickly learned that it was a must to keep Gold and Bug separated at all times.)
Over time, Bug became bonded with an orange hexagon monster- Hexalace, who became her caretaker after the title was stripped from Redd (about damn time).
And things are alright now. Or, so ae hopes.

Technically both reference sheets are WIPs, but I physically can't finish them because I don't have group members' designs done just yet :'< Also because I don't have all of the (canon) relations figured out yet

-Gojo Satoru
✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧✧༝┉˚*❋ ✧༝
When i think of complete holistic growth, I think of Gojo Satoru. He is a character from the Jujutsu Kaisen series who plays as the teacher or "sensei" of Yuuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, etc.
Satoru was born with the title of the "strongest" after being the first user of the six eyes and the limitless technique in over 400 years. While this may be a blessing, the repercussions of his birth actually shifted the balance of the Jujutsu world; curses were getting stronger day by day due to this phenomenon. Needless to say, he was spoiled as a child because of the proclamation of being the current "strongest".
His character developed when he was a teenager who enrolled in the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College or Jujutsu High where he shared a class with Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri. Notably, Suguru and Satoru had a deep bond with each other with both of them being known at that time as the "strongest" due to their special grade status.
In 2006, both students were assigned to escort and assimilate Riko Amanai with Tengen, an important figure of Jujutsu society. Rather than sending her to Tengen immediately, they let Riko enjoy the last days of her life and her youth. Ultimately, Riko was killed not through assimilation but through a bounty / assassination that was placed on her. Her death disrupted both lives of Gojo and Geto; Gojo aimed to grow stronger and heightened his techniques while Geto was struggling over her death and his opinion of humans since the people responsible for Riko's death were humans. Geto spiraled and eventually became a cursed user (opposite of a sorcer who exorcise curses and protect people), an information that Gojo had a hard time grasping as Geto was someone who he valued in his life.
With Geto's defection, Gojo decided to become a teacher so no one would have to go through what Geto had gone. He aimed to make the next generation stronger or on par with him. In 2017, he met Yuta Okkotsu, a 16 year old, who was planned to be executed due to his immense power of a special grade spirit (and former love interest), Rika Orimoto. Instead of killing Yuta, he enrolled him to his alma matter where he helped him improve on his abilities. Soon after, he met Geto again as he [Geto] proclaimed to create a society where humans ceased to exist.
On the 24th of December 2017, Yuta and Geto clashed with each other, with Yuta standing victorious. During Geto's final moments, he and Gojo talked and it was soon revealed that even after everything, Gojo still had trust for him. Gojo ultimately killed Geto but did not dispose of his body.
The year of that, Yuji Itadori was introduced as a vessel for Sukuna (one of the most dangerous cursed spirits or the "King of Curses"). Once again, an execution was held for Yuji. Gojo took care of Yuji and instilled his teachings onto him.
During the Shibuya Incident, Gojo was sealed due to having an encounter of Pseudo-Geto (an entity named Kenjaku possessed the undisposed body of Geto). After having completely been sealed, Gojo placed immense trust on his comrades.
19 days after being sealed, Gojo was now placed under the predicament of fighting Sukuna, who now possessed Megumi. Although Gojo was killed in the process, he had expressed how thankful he was but regretted that even after he had given his everything, Sukuna was still unfazed. In the afterlife, it was shown that he was with Geto, Nanami, Haibara, and the people who had made his youth the best time of his life, the people who saw him as "human", not the "strongest".
°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°
Gojo was basically a man who was spoiled from the start, looking down on those who he deemed weak. Overtime, his character bloomed after having had lost his youth due to Toji Fushiguro. Toji had a son, Megumi, who Gojo took, trained, and cared for. Aside from the incident with Toji, he had lost his best friend, Geto, and with his defection, he made it his goal to change Jujutsu society's traditional views and help children grow stronger but still maintain their youth. His character is really complex, but what I can learn from him is that being the strongest comes with many consequences. Although his end was bittersweet, he was the happiest when he was able to be with those he cared for, the people responsible for his "blue spring". Gojo is one of my favorite characters in fiction not only because of his charming personality, but because of his character as a whole. He had truly developed over the years and for that, I could say that his growth was worth watching.
This relates to my real life experiences as I am someone who is really stubborn at times, but there are people who have shaped me into becoming better. For that, i am grateful for they have improved my individuality and capabilities.
And just like Gojo, who was perceived as just the strongest, I also struggled to find my true identity. "Are you the strongest because you're Gojo Satoru, or are you Gojo Satoru because you're the strongest?" is the surrounding question of Gojo's existence. It is important to know thyself first to have an established and well-formed holistic growth.
"blue spring"- In Japanese culture, these words imply excitement. It also refers to nostalgia and fondness, as well as a time of happiness and hope.

So are there any unexpected friendships that develop between the dark forest trainees? Friendships that weren't there before as people who would have never interacted meet? Or just any sort of comradely between cats of different clans that came from that, even if it was basically gone after the dark forest battle ended and they all went their separate ways?
I would imagine most conversations between former trainees at gathering would be pretty awkward for obvious reasons
Spiderleg and Hallowflight just happen to meet at a gathering like
"Oh hey, I know you, you are that one guy... uh we met when..."
"When we were conspiring to overthrow our religion in hell?"
"Uh yes.... so ummm, how are the kids...?"
"Pretty good, nearly killed one of them."
"OH"
Unlike the Great Journey, I think this is a situation where everyone involved is very bitter towards each other. Everyone was in the forest for different reasons, they all defected at different times, and they were heavily shamed for what they'd all decided to do. So it's more helpful to imagine individuals.
In WindClan, the survivors are TIGHT. Breeze, Sun, and Furze are ride-or-die for each other. Furze was Breeze's apprentice, Sun is dating Furze, the three of them are a small clique.
I think Hare and Breeze were close, especially when they were apprentices together with Heatherpaw, but Breeze started feeling a lot of resentment for him when Hare quickly shed his Dishonor Title, distanced himself from the other survivors and their clique, and became deputy.
This was NOT a mutual rivalry. Hare is hurt by, and doesn't understand why Breeze has flipped him from 'friend' to 'enemy.'
Breeze, Sun, and Furze have not learned their lessons. When the Kin arrive, the three of them are quick joiners. I think they're fond of Blossomfall, but none of the others.
Blossomfall meanwhile continues to be an issue. The Dishonor Title backfired and just made her feel MORE disconnected from ThunderClan. She threatened Briarlight and talked a big game, but couldn't bring herself to hurt her. She's toxic and dragging Ivypool down, getting dumped for an ex-kittypet, Fernsong. People she hurt are (rightfully) distancing themselves but BOY is it not helping her bad behavior.
Hurt people hurt people and such.
I think she'd take any connections to the other DF trainees she could find, but simply does not find them outside of the WindClique. So when the Kin arrives, she joins along with them.
In RIVERCLAN, I currently have 3 survivors. Hallowflight, Icewing, Minnowtail.
Minnow obviously loves Mousewhisker and only regrets the fact she lost her primary way of hanging out with him. Halfstupid OTP.
I think Icewing probably got close with Minnow, Mouse, Hare, Hallow, and Ivy. ESPECIALLY Hallow who really just needed a more present authority figure in his life. She seems like the sort of person who is diplomatic, and mostly ended up staying in the forest to learn more and keep the kids safe.
(ironic since her son Beetlewhisker FOLLOWED her into the Dark Forest and died as a result. She feels responsible for his death when she thought she could protect him from the demons she was exposing him to.)
So I feel like a lot of the DF trainees either feel complicated about her (as a 2nd battle defector) or positive about her (as someone who tried to advocate for them and keep them safe in training)
And the last category is Hallowflight, Ratscar, and Spiderleg. They are ashamed of what they did and don't want to make associations based on their old friendships. Of the three though, Hallow is the most 'polite' about the old bonds they shared.
(Ratscar btw is a 1st battle defector, very early, he gave himself up as soon as he had the chance. He had been living as an exiled rogue since his ShadowClan stunt.)
So yeah you hit the nail on the head, most of their conversations are on the awkward-side, unless the WindClique is in question.

This was one of the scenes I'd been dying to see animated. It's these two groups defying the great, unconventional, untested laws of the elusive (and supposedly all-powerful) Book. They really fucking beat the OP artifact with the power of trust. It's astounding. I love it so, so much.
The story so far has been a build up of partnerships between the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia. It started with Fukuzawa and Mori's agreement, long before they had the title of Boss from either group. It was in Dazai and Chuuya's bond even long after Dazai defected. It is in Akutagawa keeping his promise to Atsushi.
The Tripartite Framework, Dead Apple, teaming up to beat the Guild. It's the symbolism, it's the "there's good amongst the evil crowd and vice versa." It's the way the good guys and the bad guys balance each other out to defeat the even worse guys who are threatening their home.

A Whovian Watches Star Trek for the First Time: Part 103 - Spirits of the Blue Forests
Star Trek: Discovery - Season 1 Episode 8 - Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum
Tumblr media
Oooh, Latin title! Running it through translate, it appears to mean "IF you want peace, prepare for war" which is a bit ominous!
We open with the Discovery launching a surprise rescue mission of another Starfleet ship under Klingon Attack. The Mission is however a failure. The other ship is lost, and Discovery has to Spore Jump out of there. Despite the Spore Drive's great speed abilities, the Klingon invisibility ships are just impossible to target until they make themselves visible, which is an difficult problem that I can't wait to see how they think around.
Meanwhile, Paul seems to be having some after effects from being plugged into the Spore drive. We know from last episode that Ripper's DNA had some weird time effect on him, and now he appears to have a bit of confusion, and accidentally refers to Sylvia Tilly as Captain. A hint at the future perhaps? Well, later in the episode we get some more details about what he's experiencing, but I can't figure out if it's time related, or multiverse related or just entirely in his head. I need more to go on.
After the aforementioned battle, we find out that Starfleet Command has asked discovery to go to a planet called Pahvo. Saru, Michael, Ash make up this the ground team, and the plan is to study the planet's unique vibrations to make a SONAR system for detecting the cloaked Klingon ships. I'm not 100% sure how a Sonar System is supposed to work in the vacuum of Space, surely the vibrations would need matter to be carried across. Either way, the planet is absolutely gorgeous. I love the blues.
I actually really enjoy this trio working together. Now that Michael and Saru have made up, they bounce off each other pretty well, they have some fun banter with eachother across the scenes of them exploring the planet, and have a really nice balance of personalities. They encounter some Ethereal creatures, and now the team are required to make official first Contact. Michael mentions that there is an official protocol for that now, which is certainly going to make things a lot easier than in the days of Archer making it up as he went along. While Saru is off trying to communicate with the creatures, Ash and Michael have a moment of bonding by the fire. They want to be together, but as long as there is a war, they'll be kept busy and as soon as the war is over, Michael is going back to prison. It's a very important problem for Michael's future, and we get an interesting look into both her Ash's moralities in this scene. And also a kiss, which is also nice.
The Pahvans initiate a telepathic communication with Saru, who then crushes Michael and Ash's communicators and goes mad at trying to keep the team on the planet. Ash takes command and decides to distract Saru while Michael tries to contact Discovery.
Also, throughout the episode we keeping cutting back to the Klingons. The Klingon leaders are trying to torture Admiral Cornwell, but apparently the Torturer has other plans. The Torturer wants to defect to the Federation, and launches a plan to escape with the Admiral. They move to assassinate the leadership as they escape, but are caught in the process and end up in a faux fight with eachother to avoid recapture. The torturer knocks Cornwell unconscious, and uses it to feign her death, and dumps her unconscious body in with a bunch of real Klingon bodies. I'm not sure where their arc is going, but I will say it's first time in Discovery that the Klingon side of things has properly held my attention enough to fully work through my difficulties with subtitles.
We're left on a cliffhanger of the Pahvans summoning the Klingon Flagship, because they don't understand the reality of war and want to bring harmony, and Discovery is left to protect them.
I really liked this episode. The Pahvo stuff was really nice, I love delving into these characters. It was a lovely episode for Saru, and how he's entirely motivated by keeping the Pahvans out of the war is beautiful. Apparently, this was the first time he had lived without fear, and his reaction to having that taken away is heartbreaking. The character development on Michael and Ash was amazing too. I love this kind of character focus episode.

In her Forging Bonds, Mercedes reveals her recipe for the sweets she bakes were passed down from her father’s family, and her father taught her mother how to bake them (they cooked together) !
But there’s this interesting tidbit about a timeline :
“ Before I was born, there was strife in the Empire, and he was killed. My mother and I lost our house and title. “
What kind of strife is she talking about?
Mercie’s dad was killed, and his house disappeared ? Mercie was born before the Insurrection so it can’t be that, but it can’t be the latest Brigid war, because Petra remembers her parents and she’s younger than Mercedes so... ?
On pegasusknight the script goes :
お父様はね、私が生まれる少し前に 政争に巻き込まれて亡くなったの
Googlised, it goes
“Your (lel) father was involved in a political dispute and died shortly before I was born.”
Mercie’s dad died to a political strife? She was born in 1157 - what kind of “political strife” existed in 1157?
Interestingly, House Hrym was vaporised in 1167, ten years after House Matritz’s fall subsequent to the “killing” of her dad in a political strife.
The devs are allergic to give us any crumbs about Adrestia and Ionius content, but who acted the fall of House Martritz, without giving any fucks about the surviving widow and heir in the oven? Was it Ionius? His predecessor? Why? Was House Martritz the first House who opposed Ionius’s policies and was hit, but when Hrym tries to defect 10 years later that’s when the rest of Adrestia reacts?
Oh well, maybe in Mercedes’s next FEH alt we will get more about her backstory /s

Title: I've Never Heard Silence Quite This Loud Ship: CrossTech [Crosshair/Tech] Rating: M Summary: Crosshair finds out that he's not alone in this lab anymore, and he falls right into Hemlock's trap. Warnings: Minor description of severe eye injury, claustrophobia or fear of being restrained, they don't know that Hemlock already has Omega.
For @eriexplosion
This wasn’t the first time Crosshair had made a daring escape.
And by “escape,” he meant getting away long enough to gather some clues about where he was and what they were doing here, you know, other than keeping clones in protected cells and torturing them.
However, this was the first time that he had managed to make it to another part of the lab. An uneasy feeling settled in the pit of his stomach. It was too easy, he thought. He was meant to find something here so they could lord it over his head as a bargaining chip. Crosshair was tired, but he would never sell out his squad. How could he when they had been right all along? He owed them that much, and if it cost him his life in the end, it was worth it. As long as they were safe and kept Omega as far away from the Empire as possible. As long as…
Crosshair felt his stomach lurch when he saw the body laid out on the examination table. He didn’t want to believe it, but the truth was undeniably in front of him. Cautiously, he moved toward the table and felt hot tears prick his eyes. Auburn hair, handsome face now covered in scars…
“Tech,” Crosshair whispered and shook his shoulder, “Tech, wake up.”
Tech stirred, but barely, and when he opened his eyes an agonizing scream tore through the room before he squeezed them tightly shut. Crosshair didn’t get to see much before they were shut again, but something was definitely wrong. His eyes weren’t the same golden brown that they usually were, and blood trickled like tears down the corners of his eyes.
“Okay, okay, hang on,” Crosshair soothed and ran a comforting hand through his hair. “I’m going to get you out of here.” Looking around, there wasn’t much he knew he could do. Unstrap Tech from the bed, sure, but then what? He needed a plan, and without a blaster he was a sitting duck with another sitting duck.
“It is about time I found you.”
“C-Crosshair?” Tech whined, and Crosshair frowned as he wiped the blood from Tech’s face. “Is that you?”
“It’s me,” Crosshair confirmed, and Tech gave a wet laugh.
Crosshair couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at his lips. He supposed he could let Tech have this one given the circumstances. He placed a small kiss on his forehead.
“You found me,” he confirmed, “but we can’t stay here. Do you know where we are?”
Tech frowned. “I..was hoping that you would be able to tell me.”
Well, that complicated things.
Crosshair had a million questions, but they would have to wait. They needed to get out of here, they needed–
“I see you have found him. Excellent work, Crosshair,” Royce Hemlock complimented as he entered the lab. “I was hoping that you would be able to sniff him out, but I didn’t think you would take the bait so quickly. You must care for him a great deal, even though he abandoned you.”
Tech winced and cowered on the table as much as he could as Crosshair snarled at Hemlock. “What did you do to him?”
“What did I do?” Hemlock mocked. “I fixed him. He was a defect, like yourself, and we have slowly begun the process of making him useful again.”
“DON’T TOUCH HIM!” Crosshair hollered. Fear and desperation were taking hold, even though he knew that was exactly what Hemlock wanted from him. “HE’S NOT YOURS TO TOUCH!”
“But…he is yours, isn’t he? Tech is…special to you…different from your other brothers?” Hemlock moved closer, and Crosshair bodily blocked Tech from his view. “I always had a suspicion that clones would form sexual bonds, maybe even fall in love, but with each other…that is fascinating, if not on the side of disgusting.”
Crosshair felt sick. How much did Hemlock know? How did he know that Tech was his special someone? Had he accidentally said something while being tortured by that droid in Emerie’s care?
Hemlock chuckled. “Don’t worry. I will give you the chance to save him. I’ll sweeten the deal for you. I will let you both go with a clean slate, no strings attached. According to the records, the two of you will be dead without any trace. You can live together, settle down, grow as old as your half lives will let you, and you will never have to run from anyone again.”
Crosshair stiffened even as Tech blindly reached for his hand and squeezed. Save Tech, every bone in his body screamed to save Tech, but at what cost? They couldn’t get Omega. Tech would never forgive him if he sold them out now, but…
“In exchange for what?”
“Oh, you know the answer to that.”
Crosshair looked as though he were physically being torn apart from the inside. He had to save Tech. There was no question about it. Right? But what if Hemlock was bluffing. He had before. This wasn’t the first time that the mad doctor had tried to negotiate terms with him, and he seemed always willing to sweeten the deal…
So maybe he wasn’t bluffing this time. Was that a risk he was willing to take?
Taking a long, shuddering breath, Crosshair steeled himself as he blindly reached for Tech’s hand and squeezed. This was going to hurt.
“C-Crossh– don’t–”
Crosshair pinched his eyes closed and forced the tears back. He had to do this. He had to, he had to, it was the only way.
“Sorry, Tech.”

We're halfway through season 2 and honestly where did the time go?
But with half of the season behind us, I kind of wanted to group together what I've found out and use them as a jumping off point for theories - this will contain spoilers in the form of discussing leaked plot details and screenshots from those that have seen the screeners, along with a few things pulled from reviews.
Tumblr media
So episode by episode...
The Crossing/Retrieval
I'm keeping these two together because from the redditor that's been talking about the screeners (CanCalyx is the username) has said this is a two parter, with the connecting theme being the emotional fallout of Echo leaving. The bit of Omega and Tech talking about being a family from one of the trailers is apparently pulled from The Crossing. Other than this though the plot backdrop is apparently a basic mission structure.
(I would hope that they would also bring up Crosshair here in one of these episodes, at least a mention, but I'm also leaving room for the simple fact that the only one who routinely brings up Feelings is Omega and for obvious reasons she never had the same kind of bond with Crosshair as she did with Echo, so Echo leaving would be much harder for her to process.)
These seem like two pretty important emotionally but less plotty episodes, but I'm looking forward to them because I Crave That Emotional Agony. Make me cry, guys, just do it.
Metamorphosis
Okay so I'll be real, I have heard NOTHING about this episode whatsoever. Not a blip. Which probably means it's either extremely plot relevant and leakers don't want to spoil it or it's extremely episodic. Before the midseason I probably would have said extremely episodic but I admit I'm super curious now if the Metamorphosis is somehow related to our Believer clone and what the hell they're doing with these clones. Clone X, which is apparently what he's officially being called, called Rex 'limited' in some way, so I doubt he's just an exceptionally loyal clone. Something was Done to him to make him... unlimited. So given it's title this would be a very good place to find out a little bit more about the Plot that's going on, especially since the next episode is-
The Outpost
So this is our next planned Crosshair episode. I've heard both a lot about this episode and nothing at all because while everyone seems to agree that it's absolutely fantastic and heartbreaking it seems to be a huge pivotal plot episode. The only thing I know for sure is that it is a Crosshair episode, it seems to be where our scattering of unseen Crosshair shots are from, and it will take him to an emotional breaking point and personal revelation. One of the reviews I've seen floating around mentions Crosshair finding out the horrible purpose clones are perfectly suited for now that they're being decommissioned, which is why I think Metamorphosis could tie into this. We get a little more information and then Crosshair breaks whatever this conspiracy is open and it completely changes his entire outlook. I'm making an assumption that this is going to be the start of his redemption arc and defection from the Empire because that's what I want to have happen but also I don't see people getting so universally pumped about a character arc that ends with him in the same basic place that he started at.
My theory for what shakes him up so bad? I mentioned it in another post but honestly I think that Howzer might have been turned into one of these Believer clones. He's a character with no previous connections other than seeing him in season one, he was purposely left alive, very distinctive in design, and Crosshair has personal experience with him. So I think that his breaking point might be seeing just what the Empire will do to someone he is personally responsible for handing over to them. Crosshair never gives an indication that he truly understands what the chips can do and what having an Enhanced chip even means, so this would be a wake-up call both to what the empire truly is and what the empire has already done to him. He's the only clone we've seen undergo the chip enhancement procedure, he would have been the first test of something like this, and this is what he would have become if the chip hadn't been removed after Bracca.
Anyway I took the day after this episode off work because whatever happens I am certain to be in shambles.
Pabu
The only confirmed info I've seen from this episode is that it 'gives the batch what they think they want' which is exceptionally ominous. Reviewing what they think they want, I believe they've finally found a place off the Empire's radar - possibly an uncharted planet that Phee has given them the coordinates to? - and that Pabu is the name of the planet. Crosshair apparently appears in every episode post The Outpost, so this could switch between them on Pabu and whatever the hell Crosshair is up to as a b plot? (my dream scenario is that if the Howzer thing is correct he's trying to get Howzer's chip out to Fix him but that is very specific and relies on me being right about several other things so I'm not counting on it lol)
Anyway, I think that without the constant concern of missions and the Empire and war, the batch will finally run out of things to distract themselves with and be forced to deal with the fact that their family is incomplete. They spend a lot of time trying to avoid dealing with their feelings and emotions, and their lifestyle makes that pretty easy but take away the constant threats? Yeah they've got nothing. So I think that this is where they have to decide that they do want to join the fight, or at least that they can't just stay here forever.
Tipping Point
So I'm guessing this is our War Mantle of the season, the mission that leads them into the finale. If they've left Pabu at this point then they would probably make their way to Coruscant since that was where they left Echo - possibly Crosshair has also made his way here too? Some kind of strike against the Empire because he decided to go insane in the other direction?
I think the point of this episode is to bring everyone back together and provide the, well, tipping point into the finale. We know that Echo comes back sometime in the first fourteen episodes - interestingly, the leaker on reddit said that Echo didn't come back and is being a little shady when asked about the leaked Echo & Omega hug from twitter, so my guess is that this happens towards the very end of the episode as some kind of surprise The Calvary Has Arrived scenario and they're trying to avoid spoilers. I do think that Crosshair will be brought in with Echo and that Echo & Rex will be the thing that finally puts him back on a collision course with everyone else.
The Summit/Plan 99
THE FINALE! So from the title 'the Summit' I'm assuming we're going to Mount Tantiss finally. I'm also guessing that they won't be alone, Echo and Rex being separated out to continue freeing clones from the Empire could be a lead in for bringing in more clones to assist along with Crosshair, playing a similar role to Sabine staying behind on Mandalore in Rebels.
I'll be honest I don't have a TON of theories on this one because I need to see how the earlier episodes shake out to really figure out what track I'm on and also because no one has seen them and so there's been Zero leaks to go off of. However, I don't think that we're going to be getting any major character deaths in it, because TBB hasn't relied heavily on character death in general. It also feels way too early in the series to do something like that, it's only season two.
Honestly, I'm expecting none of this to be right but I wanted to get all of my theories down in one place now that we're on the back half of the season. I am vibrating to find out what's next.

Hi part 2
another character of mine and connected to the same universe as tim and godfrey just not in the magic department
Edam (They/Them) is a laidback Venturous Kiddo who discovered Nox, a oddball defect of an adaptive alien species titled the threnox. Both bond together due to the fact they’re their weirdos of their worlds and teamed up to do heroic acts (imagine their combined like max steel-like)
oh yeah also this is hella max steel inspired

I have the most weirdly specific crossover I want to do for Twisted Wonderland that has just been rotting in my brain for weeks but I still have no clue how to execute it yet so Imma just blurb
I M A G I N E
Twisted Wonderland x Black Butler
Silver x Phantomhive Bodyguard
NOW HEAR ME OUT
Instead of Yuu our resident Earl of Phantomhive got transported to the magical realm of Twisted Wonderland. Along with him Sebastian and our wonderful reader were dragged, the latter who is also bound by contract (which WILL be explained once I get this shit sorted but I can't just give you all the details just yet). During their time there they deal with overblots, give closure to the different dorms, yada yada yada
BUT WAIT, THERES MORE
Silver and reader who eventually meet and bond over their life long assigned roles, though notice the explicit differences. Silver, who if he ever wanted, is free to defect from his role of a Knight. He doesnt, though, he does it not because he has to but because he wants to. The reader, on the other hand, is completely and utterly bound. There is no free will nor autonomy in their line of work, everything they live and breath for is for the protection of Ciel Phantomhive.
Deciding that this just wont do, Silver decides to show that they are not just their title. There is joy to be found outside of risking their very life for the protection of another. Even Papa Lilia tags along, seeing the obvious fondness his beloved son holds for the outsider.
However, despite what the fairytales may have told, there will not always be a happy ending. Ciel is determined to get home and a certain butler will ensure that his protégé will follow through with their duty when the time comes to return.
YALL SEE THE IDEA???
Idk, once I get my shit together I think it would be pretty sick.
And by god do I need to branch away from this fucking silly little mobile game DAMMIT (I still have so many more ideas...)

If you're still taking asks for the WIP game:
Unbroken (Andor/Rebels), Rough Awakening (TBB), and A reason to fight (Kalluzeb) please! :D
For you, @takadasaiko of course, my darling!
From UNBROKEN (Chapter 2, I think) [This is what happens when you write no linear bits and pieces instead of the whole chapter in order 🫣]
Kallus hesitates to key the code that unlocks the cell doors, prison-wide.
"What are you waiting for?" Cassian asks.
"Are you sure about this?" Kallus shoots back, over his shoulder.
"Yes. The guards will scramble and hide like rats once the chaos starts."
Kallus raises a brow, skepticism shinning in his eyes, probably still confident in the Imperial efficiency despite having defected a few months ago, so Cassian adds, "Not my first rodeo in a prison break."
Cassian sees curiosity taken ahold of Kallus. He knows that the ex-imperial is filing the information in his head, and will ask about it in another time. Andor isn't looking forward to it. He hardly talks about his time in Narkina 5.
From ROUGH AWAKENING (Chapter 5):
“The chip had been malfunctioning for what I can guess. According to your med droid, this had happened to another clone before.”
The unexpected mention of that incident hits Echo like a physical blow. Az-3 told him a while ago how Tup’s chip degraded and malfunctioned, making him carry out what Echo suspects is Order 66 untimely and kill General Tiplar on the spot. That’s what led Fives to investigate the inhibitor chips and to his death. It’s futile, but Echo can’t help thinking that if he hadn’t been blown up in The Citadel and taken as prisoner by Tambor, he might’ve been able to save Fives. Together, they would’ve uncovered the conspiracy… saved the Jedi and even perhaps ended the war. Most importantly, prevent the rising of the Empire.
Echo allows himself to dwell on that fantasy a second longer before whisking it away. It’s pointless to brood over something he can’t change. Fives is dead. For much it hurts him, his brother won’t return from the dead as Echo did.
And from A REASON TO FIGHT (which should be a one-shot, but who knows 😆)
Kanan slips out of his meditative state as soon as the door of the room slides open to admit Ezra. Blind as he is, Kanan can’t see his Padawan’s expression, but does feel the worry and slight annoyance plaguing him through their Master-Padawan bond. Feelings that are similar to the one Kanan also experiences. Ripples of anguish and anxiety in the Force are pushing against his mental shields, stabbing with maddening insistence. His headache has grown steadily since the Spectres came back from their mission, with one of them hurt.
“Kanan, we need to do something!” Ezra whines.
“I can’t stand it anymore. He’s in so much pain.”
“I know, Ezra, but I don’t think he’d welcomed our help right now. We need to give him some space. Hera is keeping an eye on him and will let us know if she needs backup.”
“But—”
“Sit and meditate with me.”
Ezra lets out a groan. “Yes, Master.” He does what he is told and settles on the floor across Kanan with the exasperation that only a midager can muster.
Send me an ask with one of these titles that most intrigue you, and I'll post a little snippet or tell you something about it!

The Factionless
Tumblr media
In a heavy political climate, there are those who turn a blind eye to the governments around them. Defects, unaligned, those who simply have no hand in the game.
By no means do they bond together, in fact, the truth is, those who belong to nobody, belong only to themselves. They live a life filled with strife, war breaches the doorstep, but they still choose to step away.
Every person has their own agenda. Those whose belief lay within themselves merely avoid playing as someone else's pawn.
