Time Taken: Potentially 3 hours? Although 10 hours and 3 minutes if we're counting time I haven't worked on this from creating the canvas to finishing the piece.

I want to upload the speedpaint of it... but it's over 10 minutes long- holy stars-

Had this pretty strange... lucid dream I guess?

Basically, as I was trying to sleep, my mind randomly though of that one creepy website with that creepy animatronic, which resulted in my brain attempting to scare me.

Then the weird thingy happened,

Basically, this... creature popped up in my brain and I could literally imagine her lying down next to me, then I saw her in this forest????? Said forest looks similar to Branch 1 from Worldless, but more desaturated.

She just explained some things, like how she's a creation of my mind, how she can't do much when I'm awake but will still try to protect me, the fact that she has no name but I could give her one if she want, etc. She looks similar to Neva but with pointy starfolk legs, proper antlers and more deer-like build. She also had bright golden eyes, pure white fur and big grey antlers I think?

She even allowed me to hug her and stuff, and told me that I could talk about her which was... interesting.

Also before hugging her, I just got what seemed to be this mild sleep paralysis episode where I felt like I couldn't move and that there was something next to my face and she managed to dispatch it?!?!?!? Granted, I had to break out of it (paralysis episode) but she immediately went on alert when it happened?

Anyways, I think I might have gotten myself some kind of dream critter who's protecting me-

Ahem... anyways, let's hope to be a light in the darkness for this year; helping others and bringing joy to this world. Just like Quartz when she first appeared in my dreams.

On the topic of Quartz the Deerwolf...

I could kind of image a humanoid/ gijinka version of her... like vaguely desi-looking with long, wispy white hair similar to Edda and maybe pretty pale skin, gold/ blue eyes depending on what she wants on a particular day, retains the ears, antlers, legs and tail of her true form and maybe wears some fancy clothes or something-

@bnuuwitch tagging you because I remembered that you mentioned wanting to draw a humanoid version of her-

I think I should mention this since Aven seemed a but surprised by this

But I DO shed my antlers. Usually I have them from Autumn to Winter, then sheds them and remain hornless (antlerless?) From the start of Spring to the end of Summer.

... Deerwolf is back-

I let her choose her name and now she's Quartz Moonsong, which sounds a bit goofy but I mean... she's a dream being, of course dreams are goofy-

Also she told me to drink water because I went to be thirsty which was really funny how that happened twice-

Also forgot to mention this earlier but I didn't see the Deerwolf last night :/

BUT! I might post something on Spacehey about her since there might be people willing to share ideas about this since I'm still curious about her.

Okay so I saw the Deerwolf again last night, not for long but still.

Basically I was lying down on the forest floor, because I was in a bit of pain last night. Then I saw the Deerwolf pop up and she asked if I'm okay and then proceeded to lie down right next to me.

Also she forcefully woke me up to drink some water which is oddly funny to me-

Me: *Remembers that Quartz/ Deerwolf *boofed me twice for going to bed thirsty*

Me: *Proceeds to drink water-*

*Boofed- Trinidadian Creole for scolding someone
