Story 1:
RM: Right People, Wrong Place
Program Note
This is the story RM of BTS as he works on his second solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' at the end of his twenties, in the lead up to his military enlistment. At the same time, it documents the extremely private voicings of Kim Namjoon, the ordinary citizen. 'RM: Right Person, Wrong Place' starts with a series of rough, faded shots that bring up a sense of nostalgia. This is the diary of a particular youth. Starting on 2.8.2023 and ending on 10.11.2023, 'Team RM's project takes place over days and dates, unfolding like the pages of a diary. With similar tastes, and rhythms that match each other's, this group of friends gets together to eat hamburgers, drink whiskey, and work together on music in a shared, festival-like atmosphere. RM/Kim Namjoon dreams of an album that is "purely, completely him". To take pictures, he goes to "a place where no one will pay any attention to me", and the photographer captures him "as he is". A product of that journey, the film 'RM: Right Person, Wrong Place' is both an album documentary, and the diary of a very special youth. (Kang Sowon)

Keun Sejin: [always trying to repay Moondae for the help he received] [looks after group members] [takes care of group image] [makes sure everyone gets along] [worries about Moondae] [“How heartless do you think I am? Did you think I wouldn’t care?”] [intense trauma bc of how much he cares]
Park Moondae: I need to talk to the most cold, unfeeling person in the world... Keun Sejin

another point? argument? for saving rep and debut tv for 2025 is that she might have some other stuff, professionally and personally, that she wants to be able to focus on in 2025 and releasing those two albums next year would both allow her to do that (much less promo, if any, necessary) and give her fans some "new"/new stuff to listen to without the grueling work that comes with making an album
i agree 😉

LUCY LAWLESS: “So now I’m hooked on directing.”
I could fucking cry. I’ve wanted this for so long from her and I was so sure it’d never happen. It happened.
And it’s going to continue happening apparently. 😭
For so long I’ve asked “when’s Lucy going to get behind the camera because she has the capacity for it?” I never thought I’d see the day when she did. 🥹
I mean just listen to the way she talks about it. She’s in a whole other Universe of thinking to most directors.
And THAT is so very needed in today’s TV industry.

A Hip Hop Story (THE MOVIE).
Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, and Affion Crockett makes it an art form. Collaborating with the likes of Cedric The Entertainer, Damaine Radcliff, Lil Rel Howery, Damien Wayans, Craig Wayans, Jevin Smith, Johnollie Nelson, Johnollie Nelson III, and scores more. Spanning what seems to be all the “generations” of Hip Hop, this film will surely be the music based movie to be…

This week marks a milestone for a band that's been rocking America for decades: It was 40 years ago that Bon Jovi released its self-titled debut album. Although the album stalled out at No. 43 on Billboard's album chart and the single Runaway only made it to No. 39 on the Hot 100, it laid the groundwork for the string of hit albums that would follow, starting with Slippery When Wet in 1986. With more than four decades of Bon Jovi history in the books, the band, along with director Gotham Chopra, have memorialized that history with a four-part documentary series, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story. We've spoken to Jon Bon Jovi several times over the years, told us that one of his most interesting fan encounters came on a movie set, when the director introduced him to a very, very dedicated fan.
Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story will premiere on Hulu in April.

This honestly looks great and so interesting. I’m really excited to watch this. I couldn’t be prouder of Lucy Lawless for dipping her toes in the directing ocean.
I always said she had the capacity for directing and always felt upset that she would never agree with me because we need TV creators like her so very much. That aren’t afraid to take risks and challenge themselves and do not treat the audience like they’re incapable of understanding the storytelling. That’s got to be my biggest problem with TV art/entertainment today. That there’s no room or space for interpretation because THEY tell you how they want you to think and feel about their creation. That’s not what art is about. That might be what entertainment is about but it’s not what art is about. Art is and should be timeless because there should be no end to the creation of it.
People like Lucy get that so they should be the people that create that and put it out there. I’m so proud. 🥹
