Some cute cats

[ID: a drawing of several disabled Warrior Cats characters. Leafstar is a brown and cream tabby with cataracts, sitting down. Crookedstar is a big brown mackerel tabby with his jaw twisted to one side, with some teeth and his tongue sticking out. His nose is also twisted upwards and his eye is squinted. Cinderpelt is a gray cat with a few white spots, with a twisted hind leg she is keeping off the ground. Brightheart is an orange-and-white cat with significant scarring on one side of her face, without an eye, ear, or lip on that side, and scarring over the rest of her body, in a sitting position. Deadfoot is a black cat with a twisted front foot, which he keeps off the ground as he runs. Briarlight is a dark brown colorpoint cat with paralyzed back legs. Her front legs are fairly buff and she appears to be talking to Jayfeather, who is a silver cat with markings like a blue jay on his face and blue eyes, blind from birth. He is sitting and his large ear is pointed towards Briarlight. Longtail is also a silver tabby with scratched blind eyes, which are slightly open with the third eyelid showing. What led to Alderfur's name change to Raggedpelt?

And while I'm here, what specific injuries led to the others? I know you've said before about a couple (Crookedstar being hit by a car and Deadfoot running too fast when his paw got caught) but how did the others get injured?

Might as well masterlist this so I can just direct people to an easy-to-find ask. Original names here.

One-eye lost her eye in a very gnarly accident with some brambles. It was removed altogether by paw when it started getting infected.

Halftail lost half of his tail to a badger.

Brokenstar was born with a bent tail and chose to be named for it when he became an apprentice.

Raggedstar was alone when he got horribly beaten up by a group of rogues, and a good chunk of his fur never grew back. He joked about being called Raggedpelt, thought about it, and decided he wanted to be named that.

Clawedface was training with an apprentice when the apprentice accidentally clawed his face deep enough to leave scars. ShadowClan finds this darkly funny.

Stumptail had his tail severed by a human machine in the Aulmir.

Deadfoot was running in the WindClan tunnels when he stepped into a hole and badly twisted his foot.

Tornear fought with a rogue who was very keen to attack his face.

Crookedstar (link in Deadfoot's entry) was hit by a car. He panicked as it approached at a high speed and bit the tire, then was knocked aside by the blow.

…Deadfoot 👀 what is his name and role so far? If he has one

he and his wife ashfoot were cattle ranchers! they have a lot of land, going all the way back to windstar and gorsefur.

deadfoot actually lives a little longer than he did in canon. instead of dying shortly after crow was born, he instead lives into crow’s 20s but unfortunately passes away from (unspecified disease here).

he and ashfoot were pretty protective of crow since he was the only one out of four siblings to survive. but eventually he began to fight back, and as a way to keep themselves in his good graces, they gave him a lor more freedom. too much, in fact, as he would jusr wander off for days before coming home. it was definitely stressful but he never got in serious trouble while he was out so they just dealt with it.

deadfoot used to be a rodeo cowboy when he was younger but quit after his oldest son eagle was born.

the longest he went without seeing crow was during the rosdtrip when crow decided on a (slightly drunken) whim to join the gang. as part of their agreement, crow made sure to call in when he could and told them what happened recently. usually deadfoot was the one to pick up the phone and listen to crow ramble on. one time he told crow he was happy he found friends and he would love to meet them some day.

unfortunately he never would, as he fell deathly ill when crow was bunking in TC with bramble. crow had been planning to move in for good and come grsb his sentimentals and clothes from home, but upon receiving the news of desdfoot’s condition he immediately went back on those plans and decided to return home for good. deadfoot passed away with his wife and son by his side. crow now runs the ranch with his mother and wife nightcloud, keeping deadfoot’s photo on the fireplace mantle with crow’s late siblings.

Deadfoot, the WindClan deputy and Crowstorm's father in the Boon AU.

In canon Deadfoot is implied to be killed during the battle with TigerClan in The Darkest Hour. He is then the StarClan cat who chooses his son Crowpaw to go on the journey to sun-drown-place.

In the Boon AU, Deadfoot is killed when TigerClan attacked WindClan. His death allowed Tigerclaw to weasel his way into getting WindClan's 9 lives. Ashfoot had just joined the nursery as a pregnant queen at this time, pregnant with Deadfoot's kits. She would later accompany Gorsefire on his mission to find and kill Tigerstar, intent on avenging her mate. Later in StarClan, Deadfoot still chooses his son Crowpaw to represent WindClan in the journey to sun-drown-place.
