Poppy Playtime AU Chapter 4 Update Headcanons because the Hype is too real! Contains Spoilers because i'm watching Dawko's videos on it as I'm writing this!

WHAT KINDS OF FUCKING DRUGS DID MOB ENTERTAINMENT TAKE TO START COOKING UP A CHAPTER THIS FUCKING DARK MAN?

Okay, So right off the hook I am confirming that the crew is bigger than the canon. The AU's "Fuck Proto" team are Evan, Poppy, Kissy, Mommy, Dogday and CatNap/Theo. The latter two were rescued/saved by Evan. Mommy is going to be Evan's partner often.

Dogday and CatNap stay with Poppy and Kissy, as they're not in the best shape.

Evan and..."The Doctor" are going to be beefing hard. OMG if Evan sees Sawyer, it is ON FUCKING SIGHT. Dr. "Scar Wannabe" is such a shitty bastard that all the toys agree if he lives, he's gotta be punished.

when Evan hears the tape between Leith and Stella (his first ever friend at Playtime Co.), he can hardly think that this woman talking about to "changing kid's lives" doing these experiments is the same woman he met when both him and her were first hired. At least she had some heart left...

CatNap is having a tough time getting used to having all these people, one of them which he ripped in half, going out of their way to save him and protect him from the God that he is now disillusioned by.

After dealing with Huggy, Mommy and Theo, Evan is now more willing in his new mission to not leave any toy he can save behind, ESPECIALLY after Kissy got attacked in the ending of Deep Sleep.

Yeah, Pianosaurus dies. The Fuck is wrong with Doey for doing that????? Yeah, Fuck that, We are not balling with that.

When they get into the Safe Haven, Evan just hugs Kissy as hard as he can. Bro is tired of almost losing friends at this point.

CatNap only allows certain people like the team to use his old name and call him Theo.

"Shhhh! I think they might be listening..." Evan: "Oh, you think, Sherlock? Also you don't need about me or especially CatNap over there. They're just...scared right now"

Evan actually is a professional with the Mini residents of Safe Haven, all that time at the Game Station with the orphans resurfaced and Evan felt actually happy and like himself for once.

Evan would agree with Doey more than Poppy 100%.

Yarnaby ain't dying, and Evan spent the next 15 minutes apologizing and crying. Our kitty boi needs love and more buddies.

The only reason that Sawyer is still alive in this AU's ending is that Yarnaby still needs his only friend. That's it... And Sawyer is not too pleased to be forced to help a kid like Evan, but his intellect is most needed.

Kevin would have taken over and caused Doey's (very justified) crashout if the Trio wouldn't have noticed that Evan was having a breakdown as well. After 10 years of dealing with the trauma and now the Prototype fucks up when he's truly happy again. NAAAAH BRO 1006 IS FUCKING DEAD.

Speaking of 1006, during the Ollie is Prototype reveal, I feel like Evan would have enough bullshit for him at this point, especially after the stunt he tried to pull on Theo last chapter, and literally snatch the phone from Poppy. He then went on to threaten the literal giant spider-legged behemoth for all the shit he did. After the Game's events, they're chill and boyyyy, did Evan want blood.

Evan really comes to connect with the Doey Trio, and you may think that he would have the closest connection with Matthew or Jack, but actually it's Kevin who Evan connected with most. Listening to the Kevin tape and hearing him being called a "problem child" really resonated with him with his own troubled past and made him have a deep connection with the kid.

So this AU has been following the in-game canon events, ever so loosely, ever since it was first properly concealed on October 25th 2021 (in the debut days of the game itself) and ever since then, Huggy was always one to take the fall, but I updated this... When Evan dropped the crate on him, the guy did try to grab the poor toy before it was too late. unfortunately, he was too slow.

So when the big Huggy reveal happens and the big guy sees Evan and maybe Mommy and a couple more through the door window. the giant blue patrol toy is fucking pissed. The only reason Huggy would and does become an ally is because of him hearing about Kissy.

Meet the Egos!

Puppet Dawko

aka Poko, Po, Poopet

He/They - Omniromantic

Eldest Dawkego, having gained consciousness on October 29th, 2016, they're the glue of the family and keep mostly everyone from being at each other's throats.

Poko is a very kind and nurturing lad with an overall calming presence, although he behaves silly and has a very soft spoken voice, he's good at stopping arguments and rarely hesitates to put his foot down when needed.

They are half-puppet and half-human which causes their arms to appear puppet jointed (yes they slightly click), being half-puppet is a trait they share with their younger brother, Darko.

He enjoys crochet, sewing, and baking. They love giving little gifts to their family, most notably having made a teddy bear for Nightko to help with his anxiety.

Night Guard Dawko

aka Nightko, Night

He/Him - Straight

Second oldest Dawkego, having gained consciousness on October 30th, 2016, he was once the bravest ego of the family until Dawktrap came along, now he often hides in his room or clings to Poko.

Nightko is an anxious and quiet guy after being traumatized by Dawktrap, he thinks he's the security guard for Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria (in reality, it's just the egos' house decorated) as it helps him keep his mind off things.

He's constantly getting locked out of his office (bedroom) especially when he wants to just go hide and chill, he enjoys reading when he has a moment of peace and occasionally he'll cook dinner for everyone if he's not intimidated.

He always carries around the teddy bear that Poko made for him and most likely will have a panic attack when he cannot find it.

Showtime Dawko

aka Showko, Showtime

Any Pronouns - Unlabeled

The older of two middle children, having gained consciousness on January 20th, 2018, he is the interviewer and semi-theater kid of the family, usually schemes with Glamko on what kind of silly drama they can start/fuel.

Showko is an enthusiastic podcast host (FNAF Show) and will usually practice their interviewing skills on their siblings, when they're not doing either of these they're usually watching movies or musicals.

He shares a green room (bedroom) with Glamko, the two are jokingly considered to have the most luxurious room in the house, when they're together they're usually doing each other's makeup and outfits or singing their lungs out to whatever songs are trendy.

Darko

aka Dark

He/It - Aroace

The younger of two middle children, having gained consciousness on May 10th, 2018, he is somewhat the outcast of the family and only really acknowledged by Poko or teased by Dawktrap.

Darko is a typically hostile guy with a history of abduction and murder, he's often shouting and snapping at his siblings but he'd never actually lay a hand on them.

Like its oldest brother, it is half-puppet and half-human with its legs appearing puppet jointed (it cannot sneak attack it's too noisy.)

He's an insomniac, usually spending most of his time on his own whether that's exploring the woods (with a curfew) or just staying in his and Poko's gift box (bedroom). He has a Foxy plushie that he carries around and calls "Bazy," named after -and believed to be possessed by- the man he had murdered in his past.

Dawktrap

aka Glitch, Glitchy

He/It - Aceflux

The second youngest Dawkego, having gained consciousness May 16th, 2020, he is arguably the favorite child and causes most of the issues within the family.

Dawktrap is quite the manipulative guy, possessed with the soul of a serial killer and having a cult-like following, he treats his siblings poorly, always trying to possess them.

He appears to be mostly human but nobody knows for sure whether or not his rabbit ears are real.

It spends most of its time either tinkering with old and new technology or tormenting and teasing Nightko for its own enjoyment as it's funny to see him so scared. He doesn't exactly have his own room due to being oh so busy with his cult but he'll often steal Nightko's room.

Glamrock Dawko

aka Glamko, Glam, Glammy

He/They - Abrosexual

Youngest Dawkego, having gained consciousness on December 24th, 2022, he is quite the outgoing lad and loves to either observe drama or fuel silly drama.

Glamko is a (glam)rockstar, normal+mortuary cosmetologist, and a fashion stylist to some extent. They gave the rest of the Dawkegos makeovers after somewhat roasting them and saying they looked boring.

He usually spends his time in his room either obsessing over his appearance, practicing his guitar, or singing random songs with Showko, he also gets help from Poko to make outfits that he designs on paper.

Linkle’s Fazbear Frights & Lore Insights #0: Disclaimer & Important Notes (Original Version)

As per the results of the poll I put out, going forward, I plan to discuss my current thoughts on the possible lore implications and relevance of each Fazbear Frights story to the canon of the games, after I finish each story, as well as a possible retrospective after each whole book, as each contains multiple stories.

Now, since this will be an on-going series that will span many individual posts across likely very many months or even years, I have made the decision that, rather than copying and pasting a massive set of disclaimers and important notes above every single post I make on the subject, I will just make a dedicated post here, and then link back to it at the beginning of each said post.

So, with that said, please bear the following in mind:

Firstly, I feel it very important to note that I am a ‘Frights Fiction’ truther (a position in which some people stand believing that while the books are canon to the game universe in the sense that they do exist, they are canon in the same way as the video games comissiones by Fazbear Entertainment, are intended to be goosebumps-like novels sold within the game’s own universe to help discredit the actual happenings that occur within the game’s universe by mixing up their truths with untruths and exaggerations and selling them as fiction, with the name for the first series of books taking inspiration from the former horror attraction, Fazbear’s Fright.); if you are not a subscriber to this, please be respectful and just keep scrolling. I am not interested in a debate on whether or not you subscribe to it; I’m just here to share my thoughts with those who are interested, so I would be appreciative if you did not try to start arguments in my comment sections, or in reblogs.

Secondly, I do not particularly intend to get into explaining or defending the concept of Frights Fiction as a whole in these posts, so if you are genuinely interested in the concept, but have never heard of it before, there are many good videos out there which explain the concept quite well if you are interested, but my personal recommendation if you’re interested in the topic is GiBi’s Horror Homestead, as he is going through each book bit by bit and pointing out all of the evidence to support it (and he’s just a really great, criminally underrated FNAFtuber in general).

Thirdly, this will hinge on my personal understanding of FNAF canon lore regarding the games, and, yes, will include both theorizing with facts and evidence, and likely a lot of speculation as well. If you disagree with a stance I have regarding canon, again, I refer you to matter #1; please be respectful and move on. I’m not here to discuss anything except the relevance that the books could have in regards to the lore, in accordance with the Frights Fiction stance.

Fourthly, there will be spoilers. Obviously. If you don’t want to be spoiled, don’t read this until you’ve read them.

Fifthly, I’m calling the Crying Child “Garret”. It’s the only name he canonically has in any form of the series that doesn’t require puzzle solving to come to the conclusion of, and it’s my preference. If you like any other name, just mentally replace it in your head when you read it.

Sixthly, it should be noted that, as Scott has confirmed in a decently recent interview with Dawko that he just writes down the basic plot of his stories and all the important points he wants to cover and then lets the other author flesh it out more fully, we have no way of knowing outside of the main plot exactly what details were his ideas and which aren’t; therefore, there’s a good chance that a few or even multiple of the things I bring up are just massive coincidence and have no meaning whatsoever in reality. Nevertheless, I do think there’s value in discussing it, but that fact is also why I will often try to provide far more than just one detail to back up most of my more elaborate interpretations and ideas — because we can’t be sure that any one single tiny detail within the books has value, unless of course it’s something Scott has specifically said is important.

Lastly, while I will be giving my general impressions of each book as a story as I go along and probably sharing where it ranks currently out of all the books I’ve read, I do not have any serious intentions to discuss any of the books or individual stories beyond this other than as it regards the lore implications of the games. If you’re looking for someone who’s going to break down the book word by word and analyze in a meta way what the book could be trying to say and possible interpretations of its message in terms of being a standalone story rather than a part of a larger picture, this series of posts is probably not for you. I again will recommend GiBi’s Horror Homestead, if you’re interested in someone exploring themes and general symbolism and interpretations, as GiBi does this during his videos, too, and it’s very interesting and thought-provoking.

And with that, I hope you look forward to the upcoming posts! If there are any story-specific disclaimers or notes I want to put out there, I’ll do so in the post about the story, itself.

I rewatched the interview that heather masters did with dawko and how she viewed baby was a tragic character until dawko's mentioning that she is a killer robot but like heather's not wrong,if i was trapped in a bunker after a traumatic experience while being made to endure electric shocks to obey for presumably years i would go insane too.

i mean even the killer robot thing is like... she was literally programmed that way T o T i think shes 100% a tragic character, she was made by a murderer to carry out his sick shit and had no idea about it. then she accidentally kills the daughter of the murderer and has the child's own agony confusing her. then shes physically and mentally tortured by the murderer whenever she doesnt act "correctly". then she kills who she thinks is the murderer to escape the hell chamber she was trapped in. i think its funny (and telling) that dawko's rebuttal is "yea but killer robot" lmaoo like clearly nuanced character comprehension is beyond most gamers

Personality Type: ENFJ

Day is a very awkward individual but that doesn't stop him from having a nice chat with supernatural entities and eldritch horrors! He is more likely to have a successful conversation with a demon than a regular human (he was isolated from people around him as a child). He is missing his right eye from a particular nasty demon so usually he wears fun prosthetic eyes in place of it(he only takes it out to mess with someone if they're being particularly rude). He still isn't afraid of them unless they're actively trying to murder him(though he might mistake hostility as fearful hesitancy; that has bit him in the ass way too many times to count).

While he is awkward and an ambivert, he perfers being in a more social setting. He may be slightly distant towards regular human beings but don't let that fool you, he holds a lot of energy in him so he may talk an entity's ear off if it so let's him! He's very optimistic, a lot of the times disregarding the facts/logic or sympathizing with a restless spirit that was put to death.

That being said, he somehow adopted an entity by accident. Said entity loves human flesh which he never bats an eye at, he helps feed it and lures people in by his charistmatic nature and awkward but kind smile. His arm is covered with bite marks from the adopted entity but he never gets angry. He dabbles in the occult so summoning spirits and demons are pretty common situations that he gets himself into. He owns a collection of haunted/possessed dolls (he's also gotten possessed and exorcized a multiple of times). From being possessed over the years he has gained some nasty scars; one of them being a pentacle.

Regarding clothing and accessories he totally either wears an 80s pink and blue windbreaker to match his eyes or a collared dark purple jacket to divert any attention he as on him. He wears dangley star earrings most of the time but sometimes switches them out for plain clear posts because getting recognized doesn't always go so well...(he has angered quite a few people). He wears baseball caps to avoid being seen on some days but it's also a stylistic choice.
