Hey, I hope it's ok to reach out like this but I'm back on tumblr with a new account after being away and am very lost, and as I love your fics, I'd love any recommendations for blogs to follow (in addition to yours, of course)!

I'm looking for non-dark Steve x Reader or Steve x OFC content. Preferably the fluffy/romantic/happy kind, although the torture-the-cinnamon-roll-before-a-tooth-rottingly-happy-ending will always be my jam too. Smut is ok! Am also open for Bucky or Tony as the male lead!

My favorite random ask: have you ever become a 'minor expert' in something unexpected? For example, the archaeology of a certain style of ceramic, or the exact kinds of icing that match with exact kinds of cake to make cake pops? Though tbh I think everyone could enjoy a good expert cake pop, so...

Darsy, this is a cool question!! I, um. I think I’ve learned many niche things over my life so far and I think there will be many more. This one makes me cringe a little, but it’s one of the most recent. I had an ex who was really into fishing and loved sharks, and so….I know a lot about fish and sharks? Only certain ones, and thank goodness that info is fading from my memory bc I don’t use it anymore.

I also know a lot about classic French cuisine? Or just cooking in general? I didn’t watch a lot of tv in my childhood bc all my time was taken up by gymnastics (which is another niche subject area, but that was on purpose that I learned it), but I always recorded food network and picked up way more than I intended to.

I feel like there are probably more things, so maybe I’ll be revisiting this thread later, but that’s all I can think about now. HMU if you care about the last 5 women’s Olympic gymnastics teams🤷🏻‍♀️

At the ER with suspected retinal detachment. Things are going cinematically.

Waiting room completely full when I got here, is empty now since possible blindness is not anywhere near as urgent as everything else (including 4 people who arrived after). Not upset over that, mind you. I joked to the receptionist that they're going to trawl the neighborhood looking to see if anyone else needs something before calling me back, lol

Same lovely receptionist offered me a snack, came back with stuff and then went to check in case they need me to fast.

They said I do.

...

So now I have three delicious things here that I can't eat and she can't put back and I know she feels bad about it and I can't fix this!

Note: diabetes I guess is a possible cause of this--so to rule it out they have me fasting in here just in case without examining me first

I am dumb--fasting is from chance I need surgery
