Daggerheart First Impressions

Taking a brief look at Daggerheart Playtest document from Darrington Press. This game needs some refinement, but it looks great on paper so far. I definitely see it selling to the Critical Role audience.

Uk'otoa is a semi-cooperative game where your sailors need to be the last ones standing to win. It has a simple ruleset and plays in a short amount of time. I Think We’re Missing the Point of Candela Obscura.

I'm talking about what Candela Obscura is and maybe isn't. The Illuminated Worlds engine might have a few bugs that need to be ironed out and the setting Candela Obscura might need more detail before it works well.

Even the Critical Role cast seems to have forgotten the point. The cover from Darrington Press’ website. The Illuminated Worlds system is intended for one-shots and convention games. It was never intended for long term campaign style play. I wish everyone would take a deep breath and remember that.
