hey frends!
just a lil update to say that i'll be moving soon, so over the next 2–3 weeks i'll be quite busy and won't be able to post a lot a lot (not that i usually post that much but i do try!)
now that many panel shows are wrapping up their seasons, it's not too much to keep up with the masterpost or anything, so i'll definitely keep that chugging, but gifs might be a little slow :') i have a few requests i'll work on, and it's fine to send those in; plus, i said i'd be making BIG gifsets for the recent taskmaster contestants and i'm definitely working on those! i wanna do a good job so taking my time :)
wanna remind everyone about some of the newer additions to the googledrive!
ed gamble — glutton (audiobook) (i'll be listening to this today while i'm packing! if anyone else listened pls lmk what you think!! i'm also wrapping up david's book and gonna post my thoughts soon hehe)
added the most recent alex horne/tim key celebrity pointless to the alex horne collection folder
a couple seasons of duck quacks don't echo upgraded to 1080p
bbc radio 4's hard to tell from 2011, with jonny sweet, charlotte ritchie, katy wix, etc.
complete british as folk, with fern brady, ivo graham, and darren harriott (any other homo reading this grow up absolutely and painfully obsessed with queer as folk? either version? oh man... this programme gets a 10/10 for the name alone, iconic)
live at the moth club
lots of fun new episode of growing pains, hignfy, taskmaster, outsiders :)
as well, there are a couple of new podcasts out: russell howard's wonderbox and james acaster's springleaf :)
i have a bunch of asks and i'll post them later! you guys are being so cute about taskmaster it's been so fun
hope everyone is having a great weekend!
btw... please don't feel obligated to anon me rude messages... i'm a little stressed with everything going on in Life, so maybe save those for the new year? i'll try to come up w witty retorts after i've had some sleep
it's funny, i've been hearing a lot about blog competition and fighting for notes and monopolising panel show content blah blah in my inbox recently. (i only included one here but there's genuinely been quite a few just in the last couple of weeks.) i don't know what might be going on on other blogs or discords or whatever, and i honestly didn't even know these were still convos people are having; i kinda thought we all agreed that this site isn't as big as it used to be, notes aren't as plentiful as they used to be, but by golly we'll just keep on posting anyways. i don't know if there are edit tags for any panel shows but i don't use them; i just post content here for my current followers and if you guys like it then that's all i wanted to do. i don't care if there are other panel show blogs with more followers or posts that get more notes or better gifs or better blogs or whatever. it's all fine. i don't care. i don't think about it. so you don't have to ask me that stuff — how to grow your blog or get more followers or more engagement, or how i feel about other blogs that post the same content as i do — i won't answer it. just post it because you want to; don't race to be the first one to get stuff at (especially at the expense of making content you're proud of!); don't put other people down; don't send anonymous hate. just be cool and worry about you. if you can't have fun here without validation in the notes then you're gonna be miserable. flopping is integral to being active.

22 Democrats vote to censure Tlaib over Israel criticism
Twenty-two Democrats on Tuesday voted to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (R-Mich.) for her criticism of Israel following Hamas’s deadly attack last month.
The resolution, sponsored by Rep. Rich McCormick (R-Ga.), accused Tlaib of “promoting false narratives regarding the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel and for calling for the destruction of the state of Israel.” It also references her use over the weekend of the controversial phrase “from the river to the sea,” which is considered by many to be antisemitic.
Democratic leadership earlier in the day urged members to vote for a motion to kill the censure resolution and the party largely stuck together, with only one Democrat voting to advance it.
Many defended Tlaib’s right to make the controversial comments, citing the First Amendment, despite disagreeing with her words.
But on the final vote, 22 of Tlaib’s colleagues opted to reprimand her.
“We are at an exceedingly perilous moment, when emotions and intentions are on a razor’s edge. I believe that Members of Congress should be free to express their opinions, no matter how distasteful they may be. I also believe they have a duty to express the values and priorities of their districts,” Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.) said of his vote to censure Tlaib.
He added, “I recognize this censure resolution is not a perfect resolution in its language or form, but unfortunately it is the only vehicle available to formally rebuke the dangerous disinformation and aspersions that Rep. Tlaib continues to use and defend. I feel that I have no other recourse but to vote to censure her.”
Here are the Democrats who voted in favor of the censure resolution:
Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.)
Rep. Jim Costa (D-Calif.)
Rep. Angie Craig (D-Minn.)
Rep. Don Davis (D-N.C.)
Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla.)
Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine)
Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.)
Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.)
Rep. Greg Landsman (D-Ohio)
Rep. Susie Lee (D-Nev.)
Rep. Kathy Manning (D-N.C.)
Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.)
Rep. Wiley Nickel (D-N.C.)
Rep. Chris Pappas (D-N.H.)
Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash.)
Rep. Pat Ryan (D-N.Y.)
Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.)
Rep. Kim Schrier (D-Wash.)
Rep. Darren Soto (D-Fla.)
Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.)
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.)
Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.)
In addition to the Democrats who bucked their party, four Republicans voted against the censure: Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.), John Duarte (R-Calif.), Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Tom McClintock (R-Calif.).

Defense Attorney Joe Munoz sits with Rhonda Bay in Wood County Circuit Judge Jason Wharton’s court on Wednesday where Bay accepted a plea deal to plead guilty to a charge of accessory after the fact to burglary, a misdemeanor offense. (Photo by Brett Dunlap)
PARKERSBURG — A Parkersburg woman accepted a plea deal and will likely testify next week in a murder trial.
Rhonda Bay, 35, appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on Wednesday before Judge Jason Wharton to enter a plea of guilty to a charge of accessory after the fact to burglary, a misdemeanor offense.
Bay was originally charged with accessory after the fact to murder following the Memorial Day Weekend 2021 murder of Darren Jimmie Salaam. Victor Thompson is scheduled to go to trial Monday before Wharton for the murder of Salaam. Vincent Cross will also be tried for being an accessory after the fact to murder.
Thompson was indicted on two counts of murder and one count of burglary after allegedly shooting and killing Salaam, 36, of Akron, in May 2021.
By entering into the plea agreement the original indictment against Bay will be dismissed. She is also expected to testify next week.
“The defendant will be forthright and truthful with the prosecutor’s office and other law enforcement agencies in regards to all inquiries made to this agreement including debriefings with the respect to the defendant’s knowledge of the facts surrounding the shooting of Darren Salaam,” Bay read from the plea agreement.
She said she is willing to do that.
Bay said she bought Thompson cigarettes, giving him food and telling him a place where he could go after the offense when he broke into a home at 4420 17th Ave. She told him he could go to an old tattoo shop on 19th Street.
She said she knew that he had broken into the house when she did this, but did not immediately know he had shot and killed someone.
Bay told Wood County Prosecutor Pat Lefebure that Thompson did not really tell her what happened at the residence, only indicating he said he was in trouble when Lefebure asked her about whether Thompson told her about firing the gun.
Thompson allegedly went to the residence on 17th Avenue to collect a debt and there may have been a disagreement involving a drug transaction before he shot Salaam through a curtain divider, prosecutors said during a bond hearing in 2021. Thompson was arrested in Ritchie County after a weeklong manhunt.
Thompson’s criminal history includes prior felony convictions for operating a methamphetamine lab, unlawful assault, third-offense driving under the influence and uttering between 2003 and 2014, prosecutors previously said, adding he also had ties to the Aryan Brotherhood.
Bay said she had gone to the residence early in the morning with Thompson to get $140 in money that was owed to her from a female resident there. She did not get the money. Thompson was there because the resident also owed him money for a drug debt and also did not get the money. Bay did not believe Thompson had a weapon at that time.
Thompson’s girlfriend was upset he did not get the money and belittling him, Bay said.
Bay got dropped off at her house and did not go back to the house on 17th Avenue.
Sometime later Thompson and his girlfriend showed back up at Bay’s house after the shooting, but she did not learn of the shooting later after she saw news reports about it and Thompson’s girlfriend later indicated to Bay Thompson shot someone there.
She never saw Cross and did not know him. She also admitted to using drugs at the time.
Lefebure said Bay is providing assistance in this case against Thompson and he feels the plea agreement is in the best interest of everyone.
The statute of limitations for the crime she is pleading guilty to is usually one year. Bay waived that and proceeded to plead guilty.
She could face a possible sentence of one year in jail and a fine of $500. Defense attorney Joe Munoz moved for alternative sentencing. Wharton ordered a pre-sentencing investigation through the Adult Probation Office.
Sentencing is set for 9 a.m. Dec. 22.

Despite U.S. President Joe Biden's threat to veto the Israel Security Assistance Support Act, 16 Democrats in the House of Representatives on Thursday voted alongside 208 Republicans to pass the bill, which will now head to the Senate.
House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense Chair Ken Calvert (R-Calif.) introduced H.R. 8369, which his office claimed "curbs President Biden's misguided efforts to withhold critical security resources appropriated in U.S. law by compelling the delivery of defense weapons to Israel as they fight to protect themselves against radical terrorists."
The House vote was 224-187, with only three GOP members opposing the legislation—Reps. Warren Davidson (Ohio), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), and Thomas Massie (Ky.)—and six Republicans and 13 Democrats not voting.
The Democrats who supported the bill are Reps. Matt Cartwright (Pa.), Angie Craig (Minn.), Henry Cuellar (Texas), Don Davis (N.C.), Lois Frankel (Fla.), Jared Golden (Maine), Josh Gottheimer (N.J.), Greg Landsman (Ohio), Jared Moskowitz (Fla.), Frank Pallone (N.J.), Mary Sattler Peltola (Alaska), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Wash.), David Scott (Ga.), Darren Soto (Fla.), Thomas Suozzi (N.Y.), and Ritchie Torres (N.Y.).
"These are the fringe extremists of the Democratic Party."
"These 16 House Democrats just voted with Republicans to ignore U.S. human rights law and fast-track weapons to Israel," the Institute for Middle East Understanding Policy Project said on social media, listing the lawmakers. "Shameful."

It would be interesting, except it's not true.
Of the few democrats that did vote for the censure action, the following were sponsored by AIPAC: Jim Costa (D-CA), Darren Soto (D-FL), Lois Frankel (D-FL), Frederica Wilson (D-FL), Brad Schneider (D-IL), Jared Golden (D-ME), Angie Craig (D-MN), Susie Lee (D-NV), Chris Pappas (D-NH), Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), Ritchie Torres (D-NY), Kathy Manning (D-NC), Steve Cohen (D-TN), Kim Schrier (D-WA).
The following who did vote for the action, were NOT sponsored by AIPAC: Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Dan Goldman (D-NY), Donald Davis (D-NC), Wiley Nickel (D-NC), Greg Landsman (D-OH), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA).
Not to mention the dozens of Democrats who voted against or present for the action that were sponsored by AIPAC. Or the huge number of republicans who were sponsored by AIPAC, and voted... however they voted.
It's probably far more interesting that the only democrat to vote against tabling the motion initially was Brad Schneider (D-IL), who was sponsored by AIPAC. But still likely a statistical anomaly.

That's interesting. I think that's interesting. Does anyone else find that interesting?
