Okay, so they start out because Jay has anxiety and wants to be in control and Shade wants to not be in control, so they decide that this might a good idea after a late night google deep dive.

They do get pretty fancy sometimes, and Jay is super into it. He bought a bunch of ropes for Shade and him to use, and Shade's favorite is pink.

Shade likes to vocal stim a lot so he is just blabbing away while Jay works, and they are both happy to talk a lot lmao

Also, Jay has a lot of issues about being a creep potentially, even if the whole thing is non-sexual, and taking advantage of Shade. Shade sets him straight <3

Shade likes the sensory feel of ropes on his skin, but he usually stays partially clothed mostly for Jay's comfort but also cause rope burn is bad
