Seeing Kuma override his protocols and just pummel Saint Saturn was such a satisfying moment. All his families hardships at the hands of the five elders/world government was in that one punch.

Although there are still a few days till the end of Autumn, it is also Christmas time that will be coming up. With that in mind, this will be the last painting of the season so that I can start working on both Christmas and winter paintings.

Although I like most of Ranma 1/2's characters, Shampoo is definitely fight for the top spot (it's always fluctuating among girl Ranma, Shampoo and Ryoga).

On my first attempt I wanted to emulate the anime style coloring, but I was still learning about colors and just using digital art programs.

I debated whether to go with the style I'm currently working on or a flatter anime style. I like both so it was a hard choice. In the end I went for something in between. This time I wanted to give some summer vibes.

I've been reading the manga, there is so much I want to draw and paint…

There was this idea that I had for a Ranma drawing and I finally decided to draw it today. I have also been wanting to draw Shampoo for a while and figured out a way to work her into the drawing. Because of the amount of details and whatnot, I decided to use a large paper this time.

The end of summer is finally here. Fall is just around the corner! I wanted to do more summer based art but I was bogged down with other things going on. Maybe next year.

I actually wanted to retry a couple of past paintings but since I ran out of time I will have to end it with Kodachi. This makes the third revision (and probably the last). Although version two wasn't back I wanted to give it another try. I wonder though if people would even be able to tell the difference? I also edited the background but I kept forgetting that certain details would just get hidden behind Kodachi.

With that in mind I decided to also add in the background.

I'm running a bit late with this painting. I was hoping to make two Christmas paintings, but oh well.

I was having a hard time on how I should decorate Gojo's room. The idea was to have them both watching either some Christmas videos or planning their next costume. One thing I knew for sure is that I wanted some snowman so I added them on the window. In terms of the decorations I wanted them to be quickly put together as this would be a new thing for Gojo and Marin would most likely bring them for him. So I wanted it to be minimal. That in turn though made the room a bit barren so I decided to have some tea/coffee or hot chocolate cups present. It's not much but it made it much cozier in my opinion.

I was supposed to have uploaded this yesterday but somehow I forgot to do it.

Today's painting is of Accelerator and Last Order. This time I wanted to play with more red and blue hues as well as lighting. Perhaps adding some light glare would do well, but I really want to see what I can do with just my brush which is why my art looks the way it does. Last minute I decided to add in a certain other pair.

I'm currently working on a Christmas painting but time has been reduced a bit lately. So although I wanted to leave this painting for later I decided to finish it today. There were a few tweaks that I had to do last minute today to fit in more with Rin Shima's gear. I had added some falling snowflakes but decided to omit it and only left some lit particles on the fire.

I decided to paint the drawing I did for Inktober 2024 day 25. This time I decided to just cover it all up in various layers of paint. Looking back though, I should have just used the line art as a guide. As for Wirt and Gregory I made a couple of adjustments. More so on Gregory.

Here is an updated version of Mai and Chun Li. I originally wanted them to be surrounded by Sakura trees. My original idea was a bit different but because of the pose I had to change it to this patio one. But because it felt overwhelming when I first painted it, I left the flowers out. Surprisingly it wasn't that hard. On top of that, I softened a few areas on both Mai and Chun Li while also adjusting the tone of the whole painting. Personally I think it looks much better now.

About one or two weeks ago I finally got the chance to read Dungeon Meshi, after my brothers both high recommended it.

I loved it. I can't believe I already finished it. I really loved the world and the characters. (I'm also currently watching the anime, so far they have done the series justice).

This line art was done after I read through the ghosts section. I can't believe Laios would say something like that. But having read the whole series now… Yeah this guy definitely has said and done many things that I think I can incorporate to this piece in a future update.

I started re-watching Psych. Man I love this show. Funnily enough in the first episode they were using binoculars so I decided to draw one of the scenes. Everything is traditionally done but I messed up Gus's skin by using a really dry Copic marker and in the wrong tone. Thinking back, it might have been better to use an ink wash. I was also contemplating just hatching it all out. but that would be an insane amount of lines to try out some of the ideas I had. So I had to make a choice, redraw it all and hatch it all again or just edit it digitally with Clip Studio Paint. I opted for doing it digitally. Although if I was smarter I should have played around with it digitally first before committing to just doing something irreversible. One other mishap was on Shawn's hair where I was careless and rested my finger on some fresh ink. Hopefully I won't be as tired tomorrow.

Camp is todays prompt so I decided to draw Rin Shima from Yuru Camp. I finally broke out a brush that I bought a while ago. Covering large areas instead of the non refillable one made covering large areas so much better.
